Jason was fantastic!!! Very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and has a great personality. Jason is personable, kind and loves nature and his job! It is so beautiful and peaceful on the water. We saw birds, raccoons, Manatee and bioluminescent comb jellyfish (not sure of spelling). We stopped at triangle island and listened to the whispering pines, enjoyed the beautiful full moon and stars. It's a must do activity especially at sunset!!!!

Really enjoyed that! Super fun 👍
The guide made me felt very safe from all the windigo! Would love to go again!
What a fabulous adventure! So cool. No bathroom at night so stop at the Circle K close by. Adam was an awesome guide! We saw Herons, fish, bio luminescent jelly fish and phytoplankton! Very relaxing! We will be back next time we are in the area for a dolphin kayak!
Adrina awesome and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Not to mention the bioluminescent was incredible. If you go, make sure to use bug spray! Absolutely no complaints.
Initially signed up for the 2pm kayak experience. Thunderstorms rolled in shortly after we started so our guide worked with the owner to allow us to come back and complete our time on the bioluminescence trip later that night. What a fabulous experience! We saw manatees in the afternoon. In the evening we experienced tons of bioluminescence along with dolphins, jelly fish, mullet, herons, and more. Adrena our guide was so knowledgeable, professional, kind and personable! Great experience and the kids (9 and 11) say it was one of the best experiences to date!! Thanks Brady Yaks for an unforgettable experience!
This was an amazing kayaking experience. We went with two children, 9 and 11 years old and they had an awesome experience that they cannot stop talking about. We saw manatees dolphins, fish, and lots of other Wildlife. Our guide Adrena was excellent. Knowledgeable, personable, and really entertaining. We would definitely do this again!
Bioluminescent tour is really unique experience, not to be missed!!! And Jason Hays is not just a great tour guide (with extraordinary expertise, particularly in dolphins) - he is the kind of guy anyone would want as a friend!
The entire experience was great the guides were friendly and funny and made me feel very safe. I’ve never went kayaking before and they made my first time very comfortable.
Phenomenal experience. Jason was an incredible guide and the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the water is at night when the bioluminescence is in full bloom.
It was a great experience. We enjoyed the bioluminescent water. The instructors were knowledgeable and waited for the whole group. We recommend it.....
Adam was amazing. Loved his information and patience with everyone. As a fellow science teacher, Adam is too notch!!
This was an awesome experience. We love kayaking but had never been at night. This was well worth it. The guide was great. Made it educational and entertaining all at the same time. Would definitely recommend.
great, jason really knew what he was doing, so fun
I would not recommend this tour to anyone who is kayaking in the dark for the first time. The tour was very disorganized. We arrived at the required time of 8:30 PM, but the tour guide and his assistant still weren’t ready. A nearby group from BK Adventure, which started at the same time as ours, had already finished the safety briefing and launched, while we were still waiting for our guide to unload the last kayak and adjust the seats. The assistant appeared to be inexperienced and wasn’t able to help the guide very much. By the time everyone finally got on the water, we were already behind schedule. Once we were kayaking, the guide spoke very quietly, so it was difficult to hear the instructions. Despite that, we did get to see the bioluminescence and comb jellies, and we enjoyed that part of the experience. At the end of the tour, we were rushed back to shore, which I believe was because we were running well behind the scheduled finish time. Overall, while the natural experience was beautiful, the poor organization made the tour much less enjoyable, especially for first-time night kayakers.
The directions to the exact location for pickup were not clear and their sign was difficult to see. There was no one visible at the meeting place to ask if it was the right location as there were multiple guide groups going out from that road. There were about 15 kayaks on our trip. It took a very long time to get everyone in the water and ready to go. Little to no instruction. The guide could not be heard due to her distance from most of the kayakers and the noise created by that many people. The kayaks were so scattered about that anyone could have disappeared and not been noticed. At one point, the guide disappeared for about 10-15 minutes. We eventually got back to the landing, but it was not a great trip. The funnest thing was trying to navigate the pilings beneath the bridge, kind of like playing bumper kayaks. It was a very pleasant evening weather-wise, but was not enjoyable due to the noise of the other people and the disorganized trip.
Even though we had a rain delay Jason kept us updated on when we would depart. We had a great time catching luminous jellies. My daughters loved the glowing bioluminescence of the water too! Definitely recommend!
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the species of animals, the trees, and local history. Adrena made our trip fun and educational! The water was good even after the storm. Definitely want to bring more family down and do again!
Our sunset/wildlife tour was more than expected. We got to see a few manatees and dolphins. Our guide, the owner, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the best place to see wildlife. He was very polite, communicated well, and was engaged in as much or as little conversation as wanted. He positioned us to see a beautiful sunset at just the right time. He made entry and exit into the kayaks and water very easy and was very persistent when it came to finding animals to see. He knew the patterns of their travel and explained why they did what they did. He was very honest about expectations of the trip before we booked and did not try to 'oversell' anything. We will definitely be joining him in the summer for a bioluminescence tour. Thank you for the nice time.
Our guide was great. He knew so much about the history of the area, the wildlife we saw. The kayaks were very comfortable and easy to navigate. Relaxing way to spend the morning.
Great kayak opportunity at sunset to see active manatees and even a pair of dolphins circle the bay. Guide readily shared her knowledge of wildlife which rounded out the experience. We would do this again! One note = our time was changed to sunset precluding any bioluminescent sighting.
This was a fun and educational experience! Our guide, Adrenal, was very knowledgeable and great with people. You should know how to kayak to do this experience. We saw quite a bit of wildlife and experienced a gorgeous sunset. Excellent experience!
We loved our tour guide very knowledgeable about the environment and ecosystem and wild life. I learned many knew things on the tour about the animals and environment. Was fun to see green bioluminescent jelly fish around our boat. Was also a peaceful quite calm night for kayaking with a sky full of stars and a red crescent 🌙 moon.
We really loved this tour. Our guide Jason was great. We went out expecting to see some birds and hoping we might see a dolphin or manatee. I am sure not all tours are so lucky, but our guide knew what to look for an where to look and we were able to spot both dolphins and manatees on or tour. Jason was very knowledgable about the birds, and local nature and as well. We really enjoyed it and would love to try a different tour with him when back in the area. Our only complain was we did alert the office we were coming from a cruise ship and specifically asked about luggage storage. The office told us they would ensure the guide would have a vehicle we could use during the tour but did not pass that message along to Jason. Luckily the other family on the tour let us use their rental, but that could have been a big issue. Did not want to remove a star for this though because the rest of the tour was so great.
Jason was an awesome guide! We had a blast finding the glowing jelly fish under a starlit sky! Try it out, you won’t regret it!
Great experience. Jason was a great guide and took the time to educate us on the plant and wildlife and showed us cool bioluminescent jellyfish
Jason was a great tour guide. He kept the pace easy and made us all feel relaxed. His knowledge of the aquatic, and land were exceptional, as well as the history of the area. He was easy to hear. He was both entertaining and engaging. I highly recommend a tour with Jason as a guide.
We had the most amazing experience with our tour guide Jason. Being in a slow season we were still able to see glowing jellyfish, catch and observe them which was awesome! While kayaking on the bioluminescent tour -Jason had a plethora of stories and interesting facts about nature and wildlife that made the trip all more enjoyable as we saw and felt jumping fish around us and had dolphins circling in the dark. The beautiful clear skies lended a beautiful view to the constellations above in a glass calm water. What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend! Our group had ages from 70- 11 and everyone truly enjoyed the experience! Thank you! Cannot wait to schedule a day tour on our next visit!
We had a great experience on the tour and our guide, Jason, was terrific! We saw manatees, dolphins, and pelicans. Jason was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We'll definitely recommend this to our friends!
Jason is a great tour guide with super good vibes who can give a lot of interesting information! We had an excellent experience and saw a lot of bioluminescent jellyfish! Would definitely do this tour again and recommend it a lot!
It was an amazing experience and we really learned a lot about the birds, dolphins, land and mangroves. Adrena was kind, friendly and extremely knowledgeable!!! She made sure we enjoyed ourselves and my friend who injured her shoulder paddled slower and Adrena made sure she was with us. And we saw tons of dolphins swimming around our kayaks!!!!!
The trip was great! Adrina was our guide and she was so nice and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. Did the 8pm tour and due to the season/timing of the year, we missed the brightest glow of the bioluminescent algae and jellyfish but it was still amazing to see. It was so cool to see the jellyfish just pop up in the nets with a flash of blue! Adults and kids in the family had a great time. Highly recommend!
Was a really nice time, Jason was as nice as could be. The weather wasn’t great but it was still a nice time. The jelly fish were really cool.
I took my 2 cousins from NC for the bioluminescence tour Aug. 9, 2025 with Brady-Yaks and it was magnificent! Jason was our guide and did a great job. Amber also helped out and was so kind to us. Jacob was patient and explained a lot of cool things about the river(estuary), its inhabitants like the manatees and dolphins, and how the plankton create the bioluminescence. The conditions were nearly perfect as the full moon was covered by clouds for most of the trip making the bioluminescence magical. A mullet jumped in my 8 yo nieces kayak 😆. We will never forget the experience. Thanks Brady, Jacob, and Amber. R. Davison MD
Great time on the water. Kayaked among a pod of dolphins for almost the entire time. Knowledgeable and relaxed guide. Lots of information.
Jason was our tour guide. He took us from Kiwanis Park in, around and through the local waterways. We saw dolphins, turtles, and Bioluminescence, but not much of the sunset due to clouds We were out for 2 hours and had a great time. Jason told us about the area, the animals in the area, how the Bioluminescence works, etc. He was a great tour guide. The kayaks were in great shape and were comfortable to use; they came equipped with paddles, life vests and cloth harness/seats.
We went out at night and were able to see all the bioluminescence. Our guides, Adam and Amber, were fantastic.
This was a great experience. Our tour guide Jason was very engaging and educated us about the bioluminescence water along the way. I would do this again!!!!
The bioluminescence is fascinating. Our guide was friendly and shared some interesting facts. We even got to get in the water.
This was incredible! Such a great time with family and friends. Cant wait to bring all visitors to this tour when in town. knowledable and friendly guides.
Jason was the best Adventure Guide! He showed us all the best bioluminescent activity! Core memories were made for our family and we could not recommend this adventure enough!
Had a fantastic time on this tour. Saw a baby manatee, several eye-catching waterbirds, and enjoyed being on the water. Our group of kayak novices had no trouble keeping up with our guide, Adam, who was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Would do it again!
Jason was our guide and it was amazing. He checked on everyone to make sure we were all doing fine and he gave the group that was with us a little more time to catch the jelly fish. The kids were having a ball. My friends and I had a dolphin swimming around us so that was cool all by itself.
We had such an amazing time on our tour. Adam was so flexible in scheduling our tour and Alex was a perfect guide for us. He was so kind, knowledgeable and easy going. We had beautiful sunset pictures, saw numerous dolphins up close and found so many bioluminescence jellies. Could not recommend Brady-yaks more!
Through the estuary and was a bottomless fountain of knowledge. We really had no idea how special the place was, so it was great to have a guide that helped us see the significance in everything that we saw. So many beautiful plants and birds. We got to see several Manatees and even some dolphins. It was super nice. The price is also very good compared to competitors.
I absolutely recommend this kayak tour! The guide is extremely kind and funny! It’s a very easy tour and you get to see lots of cool things! I personally wasn’t feeling well and still had an amazing time! The water is shallow in most places so nothing to be to afraid of!
Adrena was such a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable. She knew the good spots to go so we could see as much bioluminescent as we could considering it was the end of the season for it. I felt confident going on the water with her and had a great time. They were also very accommodating considering I just walked up right before a tour started and I was able to purchase a spot right away. I will definitely be doing my next tour with Brady-Yaks Tours and Rentals.
Adam was very knowledgeable and informative as the lead guide on the Bioluminescence Kayak Tour. Adam provided an excellent experience for myself, spouse and daughter
Our kayak tour with Adam was the highlight of our family vacation. We rented on the 4th of July and were awed by fireworks along the coastline in every direction. The bioluminescence was spectacular and truly an out of this world experience throughout the lagoon. On top of it Adam was a wealth of knowledge and so passionate which enhanced our trip even more. His son Jackson joined him and, as a father of two children, it was great to see a young boy helping his dad and learning how to interact with others. Five star experience and something my wife, 15 year old daughter, and 12 year old son would recommend to all!
We were not able to do the scheduled activity at 9pm...the application and the claimant did not have the same hours for the activity. We missed this one after driving 4 hours and children more than disappointed. We were refunded but clearly disappointed. The claimant was responsive on WhatsApp to get us refunded. It would be nice to give the right schedules to customers (both for the app and for the provider).
