This was a last minute idea for us Pickleball moms in town for camp. We had a wonderful time, it was so relaxing and the check in/check out experience was seamless. Can’t wait to try one of their other tour options next time we’re here.
It was a great experience. I went with a few girlfriends, the staff was helpful letting us know which direction, winds, and currents. The route was easy to navigate and the scenery was so beautiful. Would recommend and go again
Many options for directions to go and easy to understand. Worth the low price and was very entertaining and fun.
My friend and I had a lovely time kayaking with Sunrise Paddleboards! They gave us some advice taking into account the weather so we would have an easier experience on the water as beginners.

My family was in South Florida for spring break, and we rented four kayaks from Sunrise and had a great time. We even saw a manatee while paddling back! Kent and Daniela we're very knowledgeable and helpful, giving us perfect directions to the mangroves and tips on where we might see manatees. Highly recommended and good exercise as well. Overall a great experience and you can't beat the value.
The service was high quality and the employees were very friendly. The riverfront houses are stunning and each one is unique. The current is against you paddling out from the store, but on the way back it is so much easier. Highly recommend!
We had a great time stand-up paddling and kayaking the canals of Fort Lauderdale. Rental was easy, staff were super friendly and helpful, and the urban waterway views were unique. Only wish we had seen a manatee along the way! All in all an excellent experience well worth the money, we would definitely come back .
Went as a group of 13 to kayak at Sunrise PaddleBoards and we had the best time!! The staff who helped us were super friendly and helpful and set us up for a great time! We kayaked for 2 hours on the canal and we loved it!
Great experience on the inter coastal and in the mangroves. I appreciated the tour guides who made the experience special for everyone. We saw lots of manatees and had plenty of paddle time on a perfect Florida day. Respect for the environment, attention to detail, shared photos …. all added up to a wonderful tour.

Super easy to book and the gentleman was very friendly. I loved that we were behind beautiful houses so the scenery was very relaxing and the kept out any speed boats or jet skis that may be going to fast causing waves.
Personable staff and very kind when due to an injury I couldn't complete my 2 hours. Nice little store with accessories. Parking. Definitely will come again!
This was SO fun!! I took my sons, 15 and 12 years old, we all got individual kayaks and went for 1 hour. That was the perfect time for us. The tide was just coming in when we went at 4pm and we paddled against the tide on the way out so we could move with the tide on our way back (knowing we’d be more tired on the way back) and I’m so glad we did! It felt just like a lazy river ride on the way back in! So much to see and the water was pretty calm, even paddling against the tide. Highly recommend!
Nice crew-katana are in great shape-definitely bring something to drink fit your trip. We were grateful there were some reasonably priced beverages in the shop to take along.
The sights on middle river and Wilton were absolutely beautiful. It was such a fun day out on the water with friends. I highly recommend this paddle shop as the staff were very chill and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. I want to come every week now with my friends! So many great sights to see.
We’ve been using Sunrise Paddleboards for years. It’s always our go to spot for paddle boarding. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Also, the views from the water are fantastic . I would highly recommend them.

My friends just moved down to Fort Lauderdale and i came down to visit. We wanted to do something fun and relaxing and chose paddle boarding. This was so easy and they felt like they were on vacation. We had a great time and would do it again!
Staff was helpful and kind, we arrived early and they let us go out sooner. Despite reserving for an hour originally staff offered us an extra hour with only a $10 additional fee. Water way was clear and easy to navigate, will definitely go back
Loved going at our own pace on the self guided kayak tour. We were able to take in all the sights from architecture to vegetation and wildlife. We will do this again on our next visit.
Helpful and attentive and the check process was easy! It was well worth it and a great day spent on the water. My favorite part was going through the mangroves.

This is a wonderful local business backed right up to the water. Making reservations that worked with our schedule was very easy and everything was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed paddling and seeing wildlife and the homes along the water. Everyone was very helpful. Highly recommend!
I have been coming to the same place for several years now and have never been disappointed. This is one of my "go to" spots when friends or family come to visit and it has always been a hit. The team is always gracious, knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment is also in great condition. Taking these trips is a wonderful way to unplug and recharge while taking in some great sites. Looking forward to my next visit.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We LOVED our time spent on the water! We also loved everyone at Sunrise Paddles. They were all so helpful with it being our first time paddle boarding and kayaking with our 9 year old daughter. I was so incredibly happy with our experience and certainly will be back our next visit. If you’re considering going out on the water, Sunrise is definitely the perfect choice for a budget friendly activity and fun filled day.

We had a great time on the tandem kayak. I have never kayaked before and it took a little to figure out how to keep us straight but once we got the hang of it, we had a blast.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing type kayaking through the intercoastal. Sunrise Paddles made it super easy to rent a kayak. The owners were super nice and knowledgeable. It was a great experience, and I would definitely rent kayaks from them again.
Great experience! It is located right next to a great restaurant where you can enjoy after or before. Prices are very affordable! My partner and I enjoyed the whole experience.
Didn't see a lot of Mangrove trails to kayak down. Not a lot of big boats for houses in that part of the Causeway
We were visiting from New England and were excited to explore the canals of the area by kayak. It was a windy day and we were given a suggestion to paddle towards Wilton Manor. It was clear from our paddle that they know the water ways and how they respond to the weather. We enjoyed our “journey” so much! We’re experienced paddlers, but for the novice the kayaks were very stable and easy to navigate. We will definitely return again!

This was my 2nd time here. It was an easy and enjoyable experience both times! The route takes you through waterways in residential areas, so it is quiet and peaceful. I will be going back again.

Loved the easy paced kayaking through Wilton Manor. Not the most interesting homes until you get closer to the bridge. I enjoyed the two hour ride, but it was too long for my husband. He's not much of a kayaker.

It was my wife’s first time Paddleboarding & the staff (Jason) made it so easy for her. We explored the beautiful canals behind the homes of Wilton Manors. We had a great time on the Water!
We had an amazing time with our family of 6. Checking was smooth and we were on our way within minutes. No problems whatsoever. It definitely wad a workout but we saw beautiful houses and wildlife. Would definitely recommend
This is a great spot to SUP or kayak in Fort Lauderdale. The New River makes a beautiful loop around Wilton Manors and you paddle through pretty neighborhoods and peaceful mangroves. Their tours are also great, catch the moonlight tour if you're available on a full moon.
