ABSOLUTELY HAD THE MOST AMAZING TIME! I booked this tour for a friend’s birthday and we all had such beautiful relaxing time through St. John’s River. Captain Dan was funny with this historical markers and having us hunt for the cows. He made sure all the girls had their sunset glamor shots and believe me, my friends are grateful for it. I can’t say enough good things about this tour and Captain Dan.

Due to weather, the original time was moved from sunset to the next morning. Captain Dan made it worth the change by providing a longer tour, complete with swimming and a great local spot for lunch. We learned a lot about the area as well. Fantastic time!

Captain Dan was very personable and informative about the sights. Communication was great beforehand. We had a fine cruise back and forth and around the harbor, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, with a stop at the island to try out the water ourselves at a sandy beach. Highly recommended for a small group tour!

This was a very special way to tour St. Augustine! Captain Dan is knowledgable about everything from where to eat to the history of the area. His boat is pristine and fully loaded with snacks and drinks. He makes you feel comfortable from the very start. Our kiddos (14 and 12) loved the experience of speeding through the waterways, watching the pirate boats duel, and seeing dolphins playing just off the side of the boat. Captain Dan makes everyone a captain for a time. We loved our experience and recommend this experience highly!

We had a wonderful time. Captain Dan was so accommodating. Very helpful to my mother getting in and out. We floated off the island with tubes he blew up for us. Water and snacks. A good guide of area. Their was 7 of us total, and the boat was big enough for all of us. We would do this again.

Captain Dan is awesome! We were able to book a last minute cruise because my husband forgot to do so earlier in the week as a birthday present! He was very accommodating on the time. He even brought me a t-shirt for my birthday! When we reached the marina it started to rain. My husband and I are known as "The Rainmakers" so this isn't new for us. It lightly showered for about 45 minutes. The four of us and the captain sat under the top and talked until the rain stopped, then we did our tour. We saw turtles poking their heads out of the water, spoonbills, herons, and on the way back in we saw plenty of dolphins! If we find our way here again on vacation I plan to make plans for another tour with fishing this time. I want to catch a shark!

For Mother's Day 2023, my wife declared that she did not want flowers or a card. So the kids and I thought about different things and we came across St. Augustine Boat Tours/Adventures in Paradise and Captain Dan! What made it so great? First Captain Dan -- he strives to provide customer satisfaction! Second, Captain Dan's boat! Third, the awesome tour that he gave us! I wanted my wife and kids to see dolphins up close and Captain Dan, put us right on several! We are "local yokels", and it was really nice to see the popular attractions around Saint Augustine viewed from the ocean!!! Fourth - Captain Dan allowed my son and daugher to captain the boat for a few minutes! It is an experience that they will never forget! He asked if I wanted to, but there were so many people out on the water, I got intimidated! My wife declared that we had the most memorable Mother's Day that she can remember! (Captain Dan offers an offshore trip that I am VERY interested in!)

Captain Dan was AHHMAAAZING!!!! We 5 ladies gathered today to celebrate my sweet friend’s birthday on this PERFECT GORGEOUS DAY!!! A few of us were a little late, but Captain Dan was so patient with us. He helped us on the boat, with our bags: let us take control of the wheel, and showed us major landmarks including the largest house in Jax. He let us play our music.,.even one of my favorite Arabic songs & dance when it was safe to dance. He was so friendly, professional & informational, and just all around FABULOUS!!! I took his business card because we will definitely book with him again, and we want his beautiful Peruvian wife to join us next time. Thank you again Captain Dan!!!

Captain Dan provided an amazing afternoon cruise filled with funny stories and historic tidbits. He was great with our two grandchildren (ages 2 & 5) even letting them drive the boat...with a little adult help 🙂. We saw multiple pods of dolphins and landed on a beach where we saw star fish. And of course we saw the fort, lion bridge and the big cross. Captain Dan worked to ensure everyone had a great time. Cruise with Captain Dan. You won't be sorry.

Private boat tour thru Adventure in Paradise with Captain Dan was a 5 star experience! Saw dolphins, saw the cannons shoot off at the fort, stopped at an island to play in the water , learned some history of St Augustine. Spent extra time out on the water , great with the kids and my in laws. Def recommend for families ! Will return ! He also does other tours at other locations that we will check out on future trips! Reasonably priced and way more fun than a big boat tour ride with lots of other people. Excellent!!!
