We were looking for something fun to do on vacation and this was suggested through our Airbnb. We booked the 2 hour guided kayak tour and had a wonderful time. The instructor was very helpful and informative. Our rental equipment was very clean and in good condition. We will definitely book again if in the area.

Really fun day with small group and a good paddling instructor. I do wish the guide would have known and shared more about the flora and fauna on the trip.

We heard great things about Sunrise Paddleboard. We booked an early morning lesson and tour. Our instructor was Kent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained how to maneuver on the paddle board. He took us on an eco tour and also got to see some beautiful homes along the way. What a fun filled day. This was definitely a great experience. I am hooked, I will definitely be booking another paddle board session soon.

The trip was great! Alicia took us and she was easygoing, understanding and friendly. She took pics of us We took our 8 and 13 yo and they loved it too.

This was a great tour. Courtney was awesome and took photos for us free of charge. She was very knowledgeable and great conversation. We even saw a raccoon in the mangroves which was cool. Definitely something we would do again. Thank you.

We went on the Saturday before mothers day. We were in the guided tour of the mangro trees for beginners. We did get a short lesson before heading out with our group and then we were off on our adventur. Maybe half way through the guided tour we got separated from the group. We knew that they had to be close so we paddled up around the bend. No one was there, WE WERE LOST! Now we were all basically beginners so we didn't know what to do, we just kept on the path and hit many dead ends and then we ended up in a not so nice part of town (Looking at the houses and trash in that area). I was starting to get scared. We ended up turning ourselves around and went back the exact way we had started from. We did finally got to a nicer neighborhood and saw a very nice lady on her dock. We explained everything and she let us use her phone to call the office for help. The gentleman that we were talking to said everyone else including our guided had finished awhile ago and left to go home. He never said wait there and we will come get you or send help. He know the exact address because the lady who was letting us use her phone told him it. We ended up finally making our way back to the start, but the 3 hour tour took us an extra hour and half. Very disappointed and kinda angry that they would leave paying tourist behind and not even bother to go out looking for them. This is a horrible accident waiting to happen, somebody is really going to get hurt if this is the way they take care of their clients 😢

Had a great time. We had beautiful weather this time of year. Sarah was an excellent tour guide. We went with kayaks, but I'll try paddle boards next time.

Such an amazing experience! My nine year old son and I took a paddle boarding excursion with an amazing guide named Sarah. Sarah was positive , upbeat and very knowledgeable about the area. She took the time to give us a quick lesson and made sure we were comfortable before the trip began. Sarah pointed out the wildlife and took many pictures of everyone on the excursion. It was an extremely relaxing and beautiful way to spend a morning. I would recommend this trip to anyone of any age.

We hosted a birthday party for my teen daughter and her friends. Sara was a great tour guide for the girls. Sara took great party pictures and videos for the girls. They really enjoyed having her as a guide. Super easy party, girls had fun and got to paddleboard, Kayak, and hop in the water. We were also able to host picnic lunch and cake upon the girls return. Everything was great! Highly recommend.

Paddling through the mangroves was fabulous. It was relaxing, educational and full of marine life. We were a small group of 6 guests so it made it even more comfortable

Troy gave us an informative and low key paddle board tour. Taking pics of our family to send to us afterwards. It was obvious he loved the area as well as his job. I was very excited for this tour. I spent over 200 dollars for three people to go. We started and the woman who was our guide us a quick lesson on paddle boarding and then we set off. It was almost 100 degrees but I knew she said she brought water so I was hoping we would beat the heat. As we started going I noticed that our guide wasn't really giving us information about the tour but instead talking about personal stuff, cursing and just acting kind of goofy...which honestly would have been fine if the rest of our time wasn't so bad. After a while the heat was very intense and me and my friend were having a hard time keeping up with the group we made very few stops and the guide never asked anyone how they were feeling/if they needed water. My friend and I were starting to feel sick. We decided to try and catch up with the guide because we desperately needed water. We got water and it helped but it was just nonstop the rest of the time. No checking in. My friend and I were well behind the group because of the heat and having to stop and cool off in the water as we made our way back because it was so hot!!!!. At one point the guide came back for us but instead of checking how we were she scolded us for falling behind and said we can't just go swimming. We told her we were feeling sick and needed to cool down. When we finally made it back no one asked if we were ok but instead said well it's hot because it's Florida. No thanks. Never again. There are way better tours out there. Very unprofessional and not worth it.

It was my second time using this company, our guide was awesome, she was patient dealing with our large group of 10. The kids had a memorable time. Highly recommend!

Great paddleboard trip! Troy was fun and we had a great time with our teenage kids. Even saw a mantatee! Troy took pics and videos and sent to us after the trip. Definitely a fun time would do this again :)

We had such a lovely guided tour with Kent. He really took the time to point out the wildlife, tell us interesting facts about the local area, and even thoughtfully brought water for us. Kent took really nice photos of us, too. He is a great guide. It’s a beautiful area, and sunrise paddleboards have really good equipment too. It was a really relaxing and interesting activity, which I 100% recommend.

New to the area with friends in town this weekend - thought paddle larding would be a good intro to South Florida - I was right! Our guide Troy was friendly and very informative - he shared a lot about the local plant and wildlife and several tips for other areas to check out. He was also a great teacher and had my friend standing up in less than five minutes.

Want a fun and relaxing kayaking experience? Then this is the place for you! This place will take a group or a single kayaker. I booked a kayaking tour for one, through Kent, at the last minute. Dominick was my tour guide. He did a wonderful job throughout the entirety of the tour. Dominick was funny, polite, knowledgeable and laidback. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The setup they have there is pretty nice. Be sure to ask about the mangroves and the sandbar when you book your tour. Both Dominick and Kent were a pleasure meeting and working with. You can’t go wrong booking with them.

I was a solo and there are a few people who are solo too. It was as much fun as you went with your friends! Our guide was very knowledgeable and looks after all of us. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. Did the eco tour with a paddle board and a kayak. Was very fun. Prepare to be in the sun during this trip but they took us down the water ways to the mangrove forest which was cool to see. We had our GoPros but the guides (one was in training) also took photos of us and texted them to us! Very nice people and a fun time

Our family of 4 (kids Ages 13 and 11) had our second paddle boarding experience ever on this ECO paddle and lesson with Kent during our vacation in Ft. Lauderdale. It was an outstanding experience. It was well organized, fun, and the Middle River area was beautiful. We loved seeing the Iguanas on the side of the river, the nice houses, and the beautiful mangroves. The equipment was clean and in great shape. Kent, our guide, was personable, knowledgeable, and made sure each of us were comfortable and safe. He even brought water for each of us. An enjoyable, high-yield experience for all of us. We will definitely be back for more paddles!

I am an event planner and set up a private kayak and paddle board outing for a group of about 30 people and had a wonderful experience. I worked closely with Kent and he was in constant communication with me leading up to the day, ensuring that they had the proper equipment ready. Kent was flexible with our timing that we needed and other needs of our group, which I really appreciated. Once we arrived, Kent and the other guide, Alicia, were knowledgeable, friendly, and prepared to take on our group and give them a memorable experience. Our group had a fantastic time and getting them all on and off the water was seamless. Shout out to Kent and Alicia! I would highly recommend this activity!

Fabulous trip with my daughters! All first-timers and Jared took great care of us. He was very patient and provided us lots of encouragement (especially me, the mom). My daughters enjoyed the experience so much they booked with Jared the next day for an ocean/snorkeling experience. Jared, you rock! Keep up the great work!

Our guide Alicia was great! She took us down the waterway where we got to play in the mangrove forest, keep a lookout for lizards and iguanas and jump into the water for a dip! The kids had a blast!

Kayaking for the first time was fun and being able to go on the relaxing and calm canals was an interesting experience, but it was little more than that. It wasn’t really a tour.

We had a great time kayaking through Wilton Manors over 2021 Memorial Day weekend! Kent, our guide, was a really friendly guy. He was patient with folks who had less experience. Unfortunately, we arrived at the mangroves when the tide was rising so we couldn't go as far as we would have liked, but the weather was great and just relaxing in the mangrove was what the doctor ordered. We were there for my wife's birthday and the other people on the trip were Florida locals, so that was a very good sign for us. It was the wrong season for seeing manatees, but Kent was full of great info and stories. We'd do it again.

I highly recommend the paddle board tour through the mangroves. I was really nervous and slightly scared but the instructor was very helpful and eased my fears. It was such much fun! Very laid back. I definitely will return on my next trip to Florida.

I booked this trip after spotting their truck near my hotel and reading their reviews and wasn’t disappointed. There was a slight error with my booking, but the team took care of it and I had a flawless tour. Jared, my guide, was awesome! It was just the two of us, since no one else signed up. He was friendly, engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable. I’d absolutely recommend this tour and company. My next trip to Florida won’t be soon enough, but I plan to book another adventure through them when I return. For anyone who needs practice on easier waters before venturing onto the ocean waves, this is the perfect starting point.

Have used Sunrise Paddleboards twice now for scout groups while in the great Fort Lauderdale area. WONDERFUL experience. Sunrise work with our scouts to ensure each person earned the BSA Paddleboarding award and made the experience unique for the scouts. HIGHLY recommend Sunrise Paddleboard if you have a few extra hours in FLL.

Had a great kayak experience. Weather was great and route was very uncrowded with other boat traffic. Highly recommend this excursion for all ages!

I bought the paddle boarding experience as a gift for my family and they enjoyed it so much they can’t wait to go again.

The snorkel outing was not an options due to weather , so we chose the paddle board outing. Paul was our guide, he was helpful and made it fun. The tour is in a quiet setting, no boats to bother us. We were sad when it ended. Great outing!!!

We originally booked the SUP tour with reef snorkeling but because of the weather it was not feasible. Island City was happy to rebook us for the eco tour without a problem. Even though we didn’t see any manatees on our tour, it was still a great day on the water. We paddled at a nice pace and our guide was great. He was informative and very friendly. Would be great if there were less houses and more mangroves, but that is not their fault. The water and wildlife were really nice and overall it was a great day.

The team at Sunrise Paddleboards made it easy for me to plan a special birthday, and have a fun experience with my friends. I’m already planning to come back !!
