We learned so much about Pensacola! Our hostess, Lisa, was very knowledgeable! She was friendly and easy-going! We enjoyed the whole experience!
Incredible tour! Our guide Sandy was very knowledgeable and friendly! And the new van was super comfortable! Highly recommend!
My daughter Jenna and I had an amazing time. Thank you for an awesome time. I would recommend this tour. Excellent tour guide
Very hot bus!!!!!!!!!! terrible seating for elderly and those that have a hard time moving Reconsider way too pricey for the experience
Sandy, our driver was kind, a safe driver, and added commentary to the video. That's is where the positives ended. Our two hour tour was over in less than 1.5 hours despite being rushed through 'hop off' destinations. We stopped at Joe Patti's first for free Gelato, nice touch but since they have to herd everyone to the counter to weigh all scoops first, those who were first to the counter are dealing with a melted mess by the time they get theirs from staff. Small inconvenience but may be more of an issue for groups with children. The video that accompanied the tour was VERY outdated and historically offensive. And if you were in the back, good luck hearing it or the driver without difficulty. We passed some truly wonderful places. And stopped at none of them. We briefly parked at Veteran's Memorial, the least shaded stop on the tour in August. I believe more folks would have opted to get off the bus if they had known it was the only stop besides a reluctant bathroom break at the visitor's center. Rushed there as well. Why bother to include tickets to the historical village and not stop? The museum closed at 4 pm and our tour would have ended at or after that (had it not been way shorter in reality) If you were local, which I'm sure most people aren't, they gave you a pass for 7 days to go back. We had ample time during the tour while everyone had the opportunity to stop and visit this amazing place. No stop at St. Michael's cemetery for the self guided tour as the offering suggests. No stop at Mcguire's or De Luna Plaza (very very little information on this huge part of Pensacola history) but hey we got a 3 minute explanation about the waffle house not having locks during a hurricane. Really riveting stuff. There are several copyright infringements on the video. And do not get your hopes up about riding the green bus you will be in a tracker van with poor AC. (August I get it but it will be dangerous for some) Overall pretty disappointed with this experience. My husband and I were excited to learn about our home in a new way and share that with friends. This was not that. Please take the time to update your video and set between expectations for your guests. And advertising every step of the way for your other tours instead of actually informing your guests during the tour is abhorrent. Three stops total, only one given any time was Joe Patti's.
We came on the late day tour which caused time restraints on getting off the tour bus. However we learned a lot about Pensacola and places to visit on our own.
Not on advertised bus due to ac issues. In a white van like a traditional tour but no water and snacks. Not a hop on hop off. Video is 10 years.
We did the Hop On- Hop Off tour of Pensacola, Florida today. It was much different from other tours we have done, this one was mostly video on a TV in a van. The tour guide/ driver was very knowledgeable, shared her experiences here in Pensacola. We had a very nice time even with the almost 100 degree day.
The tour was great. Lisa, our guide for the hop on and off tour was awesome. Really enjoyed the tour.
I felt like the activity did not own up to its title we hopped off twice. It was a boring tour. 😫😫
You should definitely do this tour your first day in Pensacola the deals and discounts are pretty good It was also very informative
It’s definitely very informative and relaxing and our guide was great - learned a lot about Pensacola and discovered new places to go
Video in vehicle was a little dated, but our guide was friendly and informative. We could not stop in several areas.
Lisa was EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgeable . We had been to Pensacola Beach many times, but never knew all of the history. The Pensacola version of a hop on hop off is not traditional, but it is a good 1.5 hour tour. We found new places to visit. The company is very professional and friendly. .
the trip was very educational about Pensacola. The tour director was spot on with knowledge and facts. Great tour while you are in town.
Didn’t have time to go on the tour
It’s extremely informative. The tour guide was extremely professional, patient and polite. The tour guide drove safely.
Driver was nice but commentary was a video… tour was solid drive around the city which was good but no time or opportunity to visit most of sites in the tour. Was Not a Hop On and should not be advertised as such. And because of that it was way overpriced!
We have tried hop-on-hop-off tours in many U.S. cities and are accustomed to being able to get off at a location, dine or shop, and then catch another bus after an hour or more. Perhaps I misread the tour description, but we were only scheduled to get off the bus at three places (one of which was bathrooms), and it was only for 15 minutes at each place.. Plus we were the only two people on the tour. I wish the tour company had let us know and given us the option of canceling. We drove an hour and paid $84 for 90 minutes of driving through the city of Pensacola. Would not recommend or maybe just read the tour description better than I did. (Sandy was very friendly--not sure it was her fault.)
Lisa, our tour guide, provided excellent commentary on the downtown areas of Pensacola.
This was a wonderful trolley tour. I have lived in Pensacola for 5 years and brought out of town family on this tour. I learned many things I did not know! The tour guide was wonderful. The only downside was the smell of diesel from the engine on this older trolley. I would hope the company may be able to upgrade if possible.
Guide very knowledgeable and personal.
It was ok but the bus was very rough riding and seats were small for us over 6’ tall a kind couple switched seats with us so much better but still a very rough ride. Wish it had more history highlighted. Tour guide was very accommodating and a very nice person.
This tour was such a wonderful experience! We truly enjoyed every moment of it. 🔥 🔥! I would do it again
It's a very personal experience. It's an opportunity to learn unique information about a new destination.
Get there early to check in. Started off kinda slow, but after stopping to get Gelato, it improved dramatically. Lisa was great tour guide, showed us lots of places/history to check out. Great to start out beginning of vacation with. Gives you access to lots of museums and historic village included in price, and a week to use them. 5/5
This is NOT a hop-on, hop-off excursion and we were not told that until tickets had been purchased and we were getting our wristbands. We were crowded into a bus - A/C did not work, and let off 3 times in 1 and 1/2 hours. Information center (I guess the bathroom stop was good), military appreciation plaza (not a lot of time) and for some free gelato (again a rushed visit). We did not get to stop and see any of the historic buildings. Hard to photograph when not stopping and getting out. Bus driver talked, but could not hear him in the back of the bus at all. Very disappointing overall.
We booked this tour through Viator. The starting point address did match the actual location perfectly, but I’m mentioning it because the confirmation email and digital tickets were not very clear about where the tour began. The app stated that we could access the tour from any of the stop locations, but it did not provide specific addresses for those stops. After clicking around in the app, I eventually found the main address listed at the very bottom of the screen. Parking was free, and check-in was easy and located inside the office. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The tour lasted approximately 1.5 hours. We were driven in a comfortable van through different areas of downtown Pensacola while the guide explained the history and current significance of each location. We stopped and got out at two different sites. There is usually a third stop, but on Saturday afternoons that location is skipped because the historic site is closed. There were two restroom opportunities between stops, which was very convenient. One of the stops also included a complimentary scoop of gelato, which was a nice surprise. Traveling in the van was comfortable, especially with the air conditioning, and it was helpful to have a knowledgeable driver who knew exactly where to go. During the tour, wristbands were provided, and by wearing them afterward, we were able to receive discounts at several local restaurants, which added extra value to the experience. Since we just moved here, this was a great way to learn about the city’s history, take note of places to visit, restaurants to try, and even discover other tours the same company offers in the area. Overall, it was an enjoyable and informative experience.
This by far the best tour in Pensecola. We have visited the city for the last 7 years and this is the 2nd time on this tour. The tour guide on February 17th 2 o'clock tour went above and beyond to make the tour special for our family. We appreciated her so much.
Informative and Sandy is a sweetheart. Touched on many of Pensacola's treasure's. The ice-cream was delish!!
Good overview of history of Pensacola. Lisa did a great job, answered lots of questions interspersed with personal experience
Our tour guide/driver Dave was very informative and humorous.
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Learned a lot about the area. Shared his own personal information of area
We had a great experience touring the city. Our guide was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. We highly recommend taking this tour.
I booked this because it was a Hop In Hop Off Tour. That is what I was expecting. My plan was to take my time to check out the places I was interested in and then hopping on bus for next stop(s) to do the same, at my own pace. That is what a Hop on, Hop off tour is. This tour os NOT that I did not realize it until we got on the bus and the guide told us its not like a regular hop on , hop off tour. I wasted my money and time on this tour!! There were specific places I wanted time to explore I couldnt do it. It was also my last day in the city so I couldnt go back on my own to do those things. This should not be calked a hop on, hop off!! Its false advertising! I dont appreciate having my money and valuable time wasted. There was only 2 spots we actually got down for and one was for only a few minutes. Was told that we could be left and be picked up at next door but that was still very constricted and not what a Hop On , Hop off is supposed to be! The guide was nice. Thats the only good thing i can say. If you want a real Hop on, hop off, do not use this company
It was easy booking the tour. It was a great way to experience the history that makes Pensacola what it is today. Also great to have the perks for other museums and restaurants. They had great recommendations for anything. I recommend taking the tour. You can just ride and not have to worry about parking and paying for it.
The tour was very interesting, it was disappointing that we didn't get to see a few things because of a festival going on. Maybe they could have share that information prior to the tour date. Other wise it was good.
Lisa was very knowledgeable about the history of Pensacola. It was fun! I will totally recommend to everyone I know planning trip here.
Very good. Highly recommend. Just the right amount of time and well worth the money. Driver was friendly and informative.
Lisa our driver was very knowledgeable about city and a great way to find the hidden gyms of the city. My husband fell when we were scheduled for our tour and company was able to allow us to change date for another day. We had booked less than 24 hours and was out of the cancellation window.
Loved the stop for gelato at Joe Patti’s. I bought enough food to take for lunch dinner and dessert and it was all delicious. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and added so much to embellish the video. I loved how comprehensive the tour was, covering so many neighborhoods and points of interest. I especially loved the list of businesses offering discounts even after the tour. We plan to go to the market Saturday. Wouldn’t have known about it without the tour
This is not really a hop on hop off tour. Very limited stops. No time to stop and see the places. I think they just show you the areas and you go back to them.
The tour was fine and I learned a lot about the city of Pensacola. BUT, it should not be called a hop-on hop-off tour. We had no opportunity to hop off and on. It is NOT a tour of your own time and leisure and was less than 2 hours. We would of "hopped off" at the museum and a couple other stops. We were given tickets to go back to the museum. The driver needed to get back to do the next tour. It is a nice tour but over-priced since it is NOT a hop-on hop-off tour. Also, not one mention of the base and Blue Angels
Garbage! Please don’t waste your money; it's not worth it. It has nothing to do with hop-on, hop-off. We got off one time, and the other ride was showing Victorian homes. It was pathetic!
She was lovely & most informative . We really enjoyed the tour and look forward to coming back to Pensacola
Had a great tour!! Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the stopping and having the hands on experience! She was very nice.
This was a great experience. The tour guide was.very knowledgeable of the history of Pensacola and was very engaging.
Our guide was great and we learned a lot about Pensacola. It made it much easier to plan what to do for the rest of our vacation.
Website is very confusing and trip started off poorly. Leeroy the tour guide/driver was informative and caring. He took care of the lost time and made the tour very enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone. The tour includes entrance to several museums. The tickets for the museums are good for several days. We visited 3 museums on the tour day and the next and spent over 3 hours there. Thanks Leeroy your the man
