The toutwas great, but TripAdvisor is absolutely horrible!!! thanks to their mistakes in their email communications, we arrived an hour and a half early !Iwill.NEVER DEAL WITH TRIP ADVISOR AGAIN!! there was no telephone number, or any recourse available with TripAdvisor. Fortunately, the true owner of the tour answered her phone on Sunday and help to work things out. You are off of my radar screen forever.!!

Fort Myers through history. Our guide, Gina, took a group of about 20 of us on an historic tour of Fort Myers, full of great highlights and colorful stories. She has a wealth of knowledge and was an expert tour guide. It was a warm morning, but she found shade for us as much as possible. Very informative.
Walking tour was excellent! Informative. Christopher was a great tour guide. Would highly recommend.

Really interesting information about the founders of Ft Myers. Gina has a great voice and style - keeps tour moving and light-hearted.
Enjoyable history of Ft Myers in the downtown area. (Unfortunately we had some rain/drizzle but the tour went on) our guide was very knowledgeable!
Gina was a very knowledgeable tour guide that did a fantastic job teaching us of the rich history of Ft. Myers. It served as a great introduction to the city. Strongly recommend
Gina from True Tours did an excellent job leading the tour. She has cover 30 years experience with historical restoration in the Fort Myers area and it showed. She was courteous and respectful as well as knowledgeable and funny. She spoke clearly and used a microphone so she was easy to understand at all times. Highly recommend this tour.
This was a fantastic tour! Gina is very interesting and knows quite a lot about the history of Ft Myers.
Our guide was very informative and gave us lots of interesting information about the area. The tour was well paced. There was a large group and she had difficulty with the sound system but we had no trouble hearing her. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in Fort Myer.
This was a wonderful tour. Amanda, our tour guide was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. Her presentation was clear and you could just tell how much she loved downtown. She took such pride in this tour. It was worth every penny and we had a great time.
Amanda the tour guide made this tour so much fun! She pointed out historical places and share interesting facts about the city and significant characters that lived in it.
I went on the tour with my family, I work downtown and I was so fascinated to learn the history! Our tour guide was Gina and she was amazing! You can tell she is very knowledgeable and passionate about everything she talks about! I would encourage more locals to take the tour!! ❤️
We had such a wonderful time during this tour. It was educational and Gina was so sweet and her passion for preserving the historic parts of Fort Myers is truly admirable. Not all heroes wear capes and the way she has spent so much of her life dedicated to the cause of preserving history is just heroic. Downtown Fort Myers is fantastic and more locals need to check this out!!
When our daughters came to visit us in Fort Myers, and the Historic Walking Tour for Thursday had been completely subscribed by a tour group, owner Gina Taylor agreed to take the four of us on a private tour. Ms. Taylor is passionately devoted to the preservation of the historic district, and her enthusiasm comes across in her presentation of the history of our town. Both visitors and residents should take advantage of this educational and entertaining resource.
Our guide, Gina was great. We were a group of 10 women and she walked at a reasonable pace and answered all of our questions . we met and began at the Franklin shops, which was a delight for shopping. Gina was personable, informative, and full of fun information about the past. I’d love to have been the telephone operator at that time. , I highly recommend this enriched tour and we plan on going back in the fall to do the haunted house tour.
No place to sit while listening which is not too bad if it is not a really hot day. Otherwise very pleasant.

Very lively and full of repeat stories. Amanda was very energetic and kept the group on track. Downtown Fort Myers has some interesting history. The area has been refurbished beautifully and is very safe. You could do some nice shopping down there if you were interested, and there was a little variety in terms of eateries.
Really good walking tour with Seth. A local who is full of interesting stories about Fort Myers. Very knowledgeable about the history of the area. A great way to spend the morning in Fort Myers. Highly recommend.
Learned quite a bit about Ft Myers history and architecture. Highly recommend this tour and it’s fun.
Our guide was very engaging and interesting with a lot of personal history in Ft. Myers. I would recommend this tour to anyone hoping to learn more about the history of Ft. Myers and it was a very enjoyable experience.
I learned so much. Seth the tour guide really knew his Ft. Meyers (and US) history. Because he grow up in Downtown Ft. Myers and had had generations of family from the area, he was really able to make the tour come alive. Very impressed and highly recommend for visitors and Florida neighbors
We really enjoyed our tour and tour guide, Seth Ford. Seth grew up in Fort Myers and was very knowledgeable and shared personal stories about his childhood experiences . His passion and attention to detail made our tour extra interesting. We highly recommend True Tours.
Seth gave a wonderful overview of the history of Fort Myers. It was very enjoyable and we learned a lot. Seth is funny and engaging. I plan on booking more tours.
My husband and I signed up for a special event at the Sanibel Recreation Center on the Historic Downtown District of Ft Myers. Normally, it is a walking tour, but this was presented in lecture and “slide” format. Seth Ford ( no relation to Henry!) from True Tours was knowledgeable and entertaining. His wealth of interesting information has us anxious to visit the Downtown area to see these sites for ourselves. We also enjoyed hearing Seth’s fun stories about growing up as a kid in Ft Myers. We plan to take the “Story of the Stones” Cemetery Tour sometime soon. The Haunted History Tour, offered at night, sounds intriguing too.
Our tour guide Seth Ford was so energetic and passionate about this town and it's history and his energy made the tour even more interesting and exciting for us.
Amanda, our tour guide, was a very out together, knowledgeable guide and made the tour great! My husband and I really enjoyed learning about the history of Ft. Myers. We would highly recommend.
I cannot recommend this walking tour enough! Our guide, Amanda, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and personable making the entire experience both educational and entertaining. She shared fascinating stories and historical insights that truly brought the city to life. The pace was perfect and even gave us recommendations for places to explore further. If you are looking for a memorable way to discover the area, this tour is an absolute must. FIVE STARS!!
I love the history of Fort Myers and study it often. I couldn't believe how much I learned on this tour; it truly is untold stories from people the owner spoke to. You won't find them anywhere else. It was a great tour, and I look forward to attending all of the others available from True Tours.
There were seven of us on this group tour. Led by Seth, and he was great. Full of information and very entertaining. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in historic buildings and in the city of Fort Myers.
Seth was our tour guide who is a life long resident of Ft Myers. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining! We highly recommend this tour.
Amanda is a great tour guide. She enthusiastically shared all there is to know about downtown Ft. Myers, its people, buildings, culture and even a few “secrets”. Recommend it for visitors and residents, too.
Had a great walking tour with Seth. Learned a lot about the history of Fort Myers. Interesting, informative, and fun. Would recommend to visitors and residents.
This was an amazing tour. Seth was extremely knowledgeable and added personal stories that were relevant. I would highly recommend this tour and will bring my family next time. So educational and entertaining
Seth Ford was a great guide. He stayed with us longer than he was supposed to, it was a short, easy walk. I would really recommend this. I would like to do it again when i am in the area.
Seth our tour guide is a Ft. Myers local who has deep and personal knowledge of the Ft. Myers and surrounding area history. If you’re looking for a quick superficial summary, this tour is not for you. Seth provided a unique, detailed, interesting perspective with rapid fire delivery which he delivered completely from memory.
Seth Ford was knowledgeable about Ft Meyer’s and had a personal connection to the history that added to this experience. His delivery was very fluent and had a rolling commentary from memory. It was an enjoyable experience and just the right length.
Seth was very knowledgeable and was an enthusiastic presenter with a good sense of humor. We learned some very interesting facts about Ft. Meyers & had a great time!
Great tour, very informative and fun and not too long, short or strenuous. The guide was a local and really knew the history.
The 90-minute historic Ft. Myers walking tour was very interesting. Seth Ford was our guide. There were six members in our walking tour. Tour covered 6-8 city blocks. Seth talked about prominent US and local SW Florida entrepreneurs and business people who helped develop the Ft. Myers downtown.
Well, our tour guide, Christopher (this little dude), was full of himself and made us feel uncomfortable! The tour was very long and boring, and we both were looking at our watches and couldn't wait for it to end! There was very little to see on this tour, and it didn't have to be so long! All the stories about the hauntings at the 4 or 5 sites we visited were lame! This tour would have been fine for grade school children, but not for adults! At one of the supposedly haunted locations was a bar. Christopher told us that if we went to this bar afterwards handed the bar tender our cardboard fan that we got on the tour, we'd get a discount which is called "Fan Club" by our guide! Well, the bartender said that he had never heard of True Tours and that no one from that tour ever comes to his bar anyway! He did give us the discount, but he went on to say that the drinks at that bar are so cheap that just going to this bar for a discount is hardly necessary! Seems cheap and cheesy, I know! And that's exactly how my wife and I felt about this tour!
Seth was informative, educational and FUN!! He was so knowledgeable and the sights and history he gave us was awesome! Wear sneakers you are walking and standing the entire time! I’d do this tour again!
This walking tour provides an excellent overview of the history of Fort Myers, Florida. Our docent was a man named "Seth". He has encyclopedic knowledge of Fort Myers' history. This walking tour lasts a full ninety minutes. Be prepared to stand for the entire time. Wear very, very comfortable walking shoes. Bring a beverage. Wear a hat. Do not take this tour on a hot and humid day !!!!
