Great experience - let us even go round to take photographs of the props
What a disappointment! We visited Hard Rock Cafe Orlando tonight, expecting a great experience at one of the biggest and most iconic Hard Rock Cafes in the world. Instead, we were met with rude staff, dreadful service and a complete lack of basic hospitality. There were five of us dining, and when our food arrived, we were left sitting there with absolutely no cutlery. I asked a member of staff if we could have some, and she returned with just TWO sets, dumped them on the table and walked off. Considering there were FIVE of us, I then had to flag down another member of staff and explain that we’d only been given two sets of cutlery between five people. You genuinely couldn’t make it up, she returned with another TWO sets! Still not enough for everyone to actually eat their meal! It’s not rocket science. Five people, five meals, five sets of cutlery! The attitude of the staff was just as disappointing as the service. They came across as rude, unhelpful and as though serving customers was a massive inconvenience. Just because you’re the biggest and one of the most iconic Hard Rock Cafes in the world doesn’t mean you can treat paying customers like rubbish. Your reputation might bring people through the doors, but it’s the service that determines whether they’ll ever come back. An iconic name means absolutely nothing when you can’t even get the basics right. Such a disappointing experience, and certainly not one we’d recommend!
This was my negative experience with the shop within the cafe not the cafe itself. So walked in main door past lady on reception who never said anything through open door of shop and started browsing, my wife went one way and i another after a couple of mins a very stroppy shop attendant shouted that it was still closed and we should leave, which we did but top tip , in future if the shop is closed maybe not switch all lights on and prop open door ready for business and maybe send attendant for a revised customer relations course, needless to say hard rock is dead to me.
Hard Rock Cafe was great. The offer was not worth it. Just go and buy what you want. The acoustic menu is so limited and not much cheaper than buying what is on the menu, if at all. We loved the atmosphere, staff were great and walking around enjoying the memorabilia made the night.
Be honest. Theme restaurants really aren’t my thing. I went in expecting mediocre food but still expected good service. My service was above and beyond. Our server Christian was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. I made sure to mention this to his manager when she stopped by as well. There isn’t enough that can be said about him. His suggestions were spot on and his service was five stars. The atmosphere is pretty cool, I actually liked the theme but my kids enjoyed it more because they’re really into the different types of music, artists, and history. We really enjoyed the wings and the fajitas. The kids meals were pretty much as expected but still above average, which is better than I would’ve expected at any type of restaurant for typical kids meals such as chicken fingers or mac & cheese. Everything I saw passing by on different trays from different servers looked phenomenal. I will definitely return.
We love to have a drink at the bar here when we're in Orlando. The team are friendly and the drinks are good. On this visit, we decided to have dinner. We queued for a table, then we were steered through to a photographer for a quick but somewhat embarrassing photo session holding a sorry looking guitar with most strings missing! We then were shown a table and were half way through our meal (which was nice to be fair) when we were interrupted by a team member holding a collection of items created with prints of our photos. They were not great, we didn't want them and were a bit annoyed to be interrupted while eating. It isnt a cheap meal here and do they really need to do this to make extra money? We refused the photos, although some other patrons seemed to buy some of their pictures, more likely due to the pressure tactic than really wanting to. Also why print out the photos and put them in frames etc without asking if people want them first - they will have to be thrown away - surely not good for the environment and poor practice for such a big company?
Food was basic and not as nice as alot of other places around it.
We have dined in a number of restaurants in the Orlando area and we enjoy a bottle of Prosecco with our meal, the Prosecco at the Hard Rock Cafe was actually the best value we have had in the region, the food was good and also very reasonably priced, service was great and we were impressed by the espresso coffee served after the meal. Expecting this to be more expensive than it was given the iconic location I would recommend this as a good place to eat.
I normally love going to a hard rock for a hurricane and some food, me and my partner after an incredible day at the parks came here for dinner. We walked in … lady at the reception counter said absolutely nothing to us, we were the only ones entering - no greeting, we accidentally walked inside and one of the waiters told us to go up front, after going up front and then being seated upstairs we were then placed at a table next to a big wooden pillar, we couldn’t see the cool car/memorabilia or the bar, I asked the girl with the blue hair responsible for seating us up there if we could move to the next table as the customers there had left, and she gave a lame rude answer and basically couldn’t be bothered cleaning up that table for us to go sit there. I ordered fajitas which were okay- tortilla had been left in micro too long and were cooked together, everything else was okay.
Order 2 beers, we’d visited couple days earlier so knew beer price. Guy serving charged additional $10 odd for glass, Don’t appreciate being treated like we’re idiots. He said he’ll get Manager for us, who never showed up and got our bill reduced for 2 beers to about $19. Hubby & I visited 28 HR cafes…just because we’re tourists you’re not going to get away treated like we’re stupid ! Event happened Christmas Day 2025
Daniel wowed us with his amazing personality and service!! The expresso martini was fantastic and the food was delicious. The manger Leo stopped by too to see if we needed anything! 5 stars all around
Food is ok, but kids pizza if really small! They asked me if I wanted the souvenir glass with my cocktail and I said no, but they still charged it… Decoration is good, her rock cafe standard
This fun & huge place is so wonderful, right there in City Walk/USF. Our excellent waiter D.J. came right over, & brought our order so fast. Hubby & I shared a bbq pork sandwich w/these things called loaded cheese fries, wow. They were only $5 more & even the 2 of us couldn't finish either of them, soooo big. Fries had bacon & other stuff on the cheese, yum. Dessert was apple cobbler w/ice cream, also double yum. Then that sweet DJ brought lil extra ice cream cuz cobbler so big, lol. It's the largest Hard Rock Cafe in the world, 3 stories loaded w/pics & memorabilia of Elvis & lotsa others, hubby got a shirt, such fun!
I remember the legendary burger being much bigger and juicier. This burger was so small and dry. I was like “where’s the beef” You get more meat on the bun at Burger King. Service was as amazing. Our waiter was the best. We didn’t have to wait very long and they seated us in the Elvis room. That was pretty cool. The burger was not worth the $33. I have eaten at Hard Rock Cafes all over the world and this one had the worst food out of them all.
The food was amazing, the waiter Geno was amazing, but unfortunatelly we had to wait for more than 1 hpur to have our food. The taste was good as well. The only problem was the time. Spent to much time to have our food.
We had such a great experience! Our server "Vegas" was an awesome guy and a true pleasure. Such an exciting place with amazing memorabilia!
Want to send a huge thanks to the hard rock for making my boyfriends first visit extra special. We arrived early for our reservation after a long day at the parks and the hosts were extremely accommodating and were able to seat us in a special room also recognized his birthday with a card and special gift. Our server Bryan was great as well he was behind the bar but also serving definitely created a great environment and showed us through the menu including his favorites! The food was also great I highly recommend the nachos it never misses and great wings!! We will definitely be back!!
Great customer service at the restaurant!! Will definitely return. There was a mix up with the order. We were laid back about it, but they immediately had the manager come out and were extremely apologetic.
Did the exclusive Back Stage & Burgers tour. Really great to see all the memorabilia while being escorted by a very knowledgeable host. Definitely a different way to experience Hard Rock. Yes...you do get food at the end.
Absolute worst, I saw the bad reviews and thought it couldn’t be so bad… it was worst. Do not buy this deal, if you really want to go to hard rock then simply go buy this deal is not a deal at all, you are limited to a few options for the acoustic menu just burgers which if you just paid for it would be cheaper and a dry nasty brownie and for the electric very limited options and no steaks and if you paid would be at least $20 less than buying tjis deal, the store also has an in store holiday deal that is cheaper and has way more options and better dessert options… this is not a deal it’s a rip off the SERVICE was HORRIBLE, FOOD HORRIBLE, WAIT HORRIBLE don’t do it.. just don’t!
We stopped here for a few drinks on our way to dinner. My G&T was delicious but the ladies restroom was a disaster. A few stalls were flooded and there were wet floor signs out. I would stop here again for a drink, bartender was friendly.
This is a beautiful restaurant and whenever we visit a country and it has a Hard Rock Cafe we always have a meal. This is the largest Hard Rock Cafe in the world and is beautifully decorated. We visited for lunch as a family with a plan to return another evening during our stay to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived we were directed to the welcome desk in to be seated. We were greeted by a Staff member asking if we wanted a photograph, no welcome or hello.....we were a little taken back as it wasn't the place you would normally have a picture pand they did not explain what it was for so we kind of stood there wanting a table and fubling around for our mobile phones to pass to the person to take a picture, for the staff to step to one side to show us a camera set up.... we are still unsure if this was free or a charged service it was extremely confusing. When we got to the staff member who would be seating us she took us to one of the first tables which felt almost on the edge of the main restaurant, if it was busy we would have been fine with this however there was lots of tables free in the centre, so we asked to move which and was reluctantly taken to another table which was still on the edge however my wife asked to be seated in a booth which after a radio conversation and a disgruntled look and a comment around it's not her table we were seated in a better location. This welcome did put wife off staying however I did convince her to stay, however she did refuse to eat there. The waitress we had was nice and the food as always was amazing, i had a BBQ burger and fries, I felt a side of coleslaw or a few more fried would have filled the void on my plate (see picture). The Messi menu is a great touch and my son really enjoyed his meal. The cocktail and drinks were also on point. The memorabilia around the restaurant is great however there was a disconnect between the artists on the wall and music played as I don't think the hour we were there we heard one "rock song". I am disappointed as we were due to go for an evening meal for our wedding anniversary (something we always do if we are close to a Hard Rock Cafe) however my wife did not want to go back 😞😞 The staff in the shop are amazing and really welcoming and if we had the same welcome and customer service they gave us this would be a very different review.
This place is fantastic really great atmosphere I really enjoyed eating out here. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food and drink choices were very good. As a vegetarian I particularly enjoyed the impossible burger which was absolutely fantastic. I have heard about impossible foods in the UK and wow there good. I will definitely be returning next July really looking to it.
Super friendly staff. The food was amazing. The staff went all out to help my grandson celebrate his birthday. The only complaint I had was the menu. If you want a burger then this is your place but very few choices for anything else.
Everything was very fine. The food was good as always, even if it is still a bit expensive. We didnt have to wait to much, the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was unique.
Everything was great. The Messi’s burger, the chicken tenders and my sliders were delicious, the service was friendly, fast and professional and the the rocknroll vibe of the place with the unique remembrances of Elvis and others made the place amazing.
We usually really love HRC restaurant. We had a good time even if we had to wait a bit and the portions were not that generous. It was very good anyway and the staff was very nice.
We had luck because no people waiting line , the food was ready in good time and good quality. The drinks are very good also . We had a good customer service experience
We ate at Hard Rock for dinner while visiting Islands of adventure. Our experience was just ok. Food was reasonably priced for a tourist trap restaurant. When we got our food I seen why. Portions were very small. The burger Pattie’s where only about half the size of the buns. Food tasted good but we just didn’t get much of it. Left still hungry. Best part was seeing the vintage music stuff all over the restaurant. Would go elsewhere next time.
Chips undercooked , burger just a sloppy greasy mess tbh , Krusty Burger was better and half the price .. Just a cash cow … better burgers and food cheaper elsewhere normally at your hotel .
We visited this Hard Rock five years ago as well as many other Hard Rocks across the country. Something seemed different this time. From the friendly, attentive staff to the quality of the food they’ve definitely raised their game. We liked it so much we came back one more time before leaving. Margaritaville pay attention. You’re losing repeat customers.
Everytime we visit orlando we have to have a meal in the Hard Rock Cafe. We just love the atmosphere in here, and great to have a good look around. Food was ok, I would t say the best, but good enough to keep coming back. Drinks were lovely We pre booked and didn’t have to wait to get a table. Loved looking in the shop afterwards.. Will always be a place we will return to
This place is a must! We were a walk in family of four at 5pm on a weekday evening and were amazed to get a table. We were greeted by friendly accommodating staff who allocated us a table and handed us menus. Our server came over in minutes to greet us and explained the cocktail menu and made recommendations. We made our order and the food came out spot on, I would recommend the Cowboy steak. The server was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We have never had such good service. The dining area was spotless and is great hard rock style well presented. Music playing out of TVs, memorabilia on the walls. There is access for disabled guests and is a short distance between Islands and Universal. I can not fault this place. You get what you pay for here and I recommend a visit before going into the Hard Rock shop.
Excellent service, food and ambience - always enjoy eating here - everytime in Orlando for business or pleasure — dine here at least once!
We stopped here after a day in the park fully expecting to have to wait ages but we didn’t we were seated straight away we had my father in a wheelchair so we were tucked out of the way by the stairs which suited us. Our server was excellent refilling drinks helping my son pick his food and making his milk look a little more fancy honestly his service was excellent I wish id caught his name. The food came quickly and was excellent possibly the best beef burger I have ever had. We loved the musical décor and the music its self and all in all it was a great experience we were so full tho that we didn’t get to try dessert so hopefully, we can go back for that next time.
It is worth doing Hard Rock if you can as it is always a great experience. We love the vibe, decor, memorabilia and of course the menu. They manage GF no problems at all and all the food was delicious. I can recommend the berry sangria and all the burgers were loads of food and tasty. Service was a little slow as we were on our way to the Holiday tour so I’m a bit if a rush but otherwise a great meal and not too expensive
I almost died this year so this was supposed to be a special dinner. Never again! First off parking is $27 because it's inside City Walk. The trips to the car from the security check point because they kept finding something we couldn't take inside. The wait for a table was expected. The disrespect and rudeness of our waitress was not. She didn't explain the menu for us after we asked her to help. We purchased a "tour" with everything included gratuity also in advance. $105+ for Christmas dinner 2 people. The first plates that were given to us immediately were removed by our waitress and the only thing she says "Those aren't yours" no apology. Our food that was under cooked. Rare steak and a rare burger when we ordered it differently. The waitress behaved annoyed that we didn't want the bloody meat but reluctantly had them remade. I couldn't eat after this ordeal. Miserable Christmas dinner.
Although pricy, the pulled pork sandwich was super juicy, well seasoned and as good as it gets. The waiter provided flawless service
I popped in for breakfast. I was the only customer there so not busy at all. I placed my order and waited. What came out was less than impressive. The potato was cold, the toast was cold, the eggs were ice cold and the sausage was so under cooked I had to spit out the very chewy skin. They offered a replacement but I already had to wait a while for this to come out I honestly didn’t want to wait any longer and I was put off by their offerings by that point.
Food and drinks were great. Service started out amazing. Our server was funny and very attentive. Unfortunately about half way through he basically went MIA. I think he was also the bartender and just got busy, but then he should have passed us off the an actual server.
It’s better to go to the hard rock restaurant and look at the menu and pay for your meal directly. When you present your voucher up front you will be told to go stand on the long line because no table available. The staff don’t really know the electric menu and some never heard of it plus no such thing as a tour. The electric menu has little option it’s so sad and disappointing. The only thing that saved the night was having an awesome waiter who was so nice. I wanted to do something nice for my husband, but it was just a mess when presenting the Viator voucher and somewhat embarrassing. For the amount I paid ($105), if had just pay directly at the restaurant I could hv paid less because our appetite was gone once we started explaining the whole thing with that confusing voucher no one seem to be familiar with. I had to email a copy to the manager at the restaurant. I will never buy this deal again nor recommend to anyone. It’s just based on my experience nothing personal. 5 star for the waiter at restaurant but 0-1 star for the viator electric menu deal… whatever u call it.
Absolutely terrible place to eat- avoid!!! It took 3hrs to serve us our meal, messed up orders - 2 main courses missing, then tried to charge us for other people’s meals! Really grumpy and rude staff too - we are not complaining people, and this is honestly the worst service I have ever experienced. Definitely will not be returning, or recommending to others.
Sensational restaurant with a vast array of awe inspiring memorabilia. We visited four times during our vacation and the food was outstanding. Great selection of beers and an even better selection of staff. Special mention for 'Bull' who was world class with his table service on our last night in Orlando! Give that man a raise!
The atmosphere of Hard Rock is definitely something to enjoy and probably the only reason I gave this 2 not 1 star. The service however was shocking! Our server (Ana) was unbelievably rude, I don’t believe I have experienced anything quite like it. We ordered without a problem and after a long wait for our food to came a steak turned up (my mother had order a steak burger) we told our server this was not what we ordered and she proceeded to argue with us that we had, my mother had ordered from the gluten free menu and had pointed to the burger (on the other side of the menu from the steak). The server then came out with the menu and told my mother that this (the steak) was what she ordered. Another server had brought out the steak burger (by which point we had all finished eating) and she continued to argue her point. We were hoping to see the fireworks at Universal but due to this missed it. I was also personally upset as I had wanted a hoodie from there but after this experience I just wanted to leave.
I reviewed here 7 years ago and truly slated the place and vowed never to return. Well never seemed like to long a time so I thought it was time to give it a try again. Now this was luch this time and not an evening meal I'm not sure if that makes any difference or not but I certainly had a far better meal and experience than last time. As it was burgers that caused all the trouble last time we opted for the ribs half rack, smoke House comb and chicken tenders. The food was pretty good to be honest and good size portions. The BBQ sauce on the ribs was a touch spicy and I prefer a sweet sauce but not over powering so good the pulled pork wad really nice it came with 3 sides seasoned fries, coleslaw and ranch beans (spicey baked beans) again not a fan of the spice not gave them a wide bearth. My son had the chicken tenders and fries and was full of praise as 14 year olds are " yeah there good" The only let down is the drinks, if you have fountain drinks which of course are refillable the water used is the same old horrible tasting park water but for some reason the taste of the water seemed amplified again try something else if you don't like the taste of the park water, they have plenty of other drinks. Alex was our server and he was really good there enough but not intrusive. I would go back without a worry now, even though they still have the incredible over priced photo to be aware of.
Long wait for absolutely crappy table on teens 1st visit. Waitress was nice but host setup a terrible, unorganized, hot mess. Food mediocre at best and took forever.
There was 4 adults, we were seated fairly quickly but stuck in a booth in a corner so could not really experience the atmosphere of the main restaurant food was very average service was very poor, the young girl we had serving us, seemed like the whole thing was a massive chore didn't smile once, didn't want to leave a tip but other party members said we have to, and that was the only timed she seemed to manage a fake smile
Great staff quick and filling Bottomless drinks coke Book table before you go and print out your tickets
We have visited HRC every time we have been in Orlando for the last 10 years. This was the last time we will go. It has been getting progressively worse over the years but this time even the food was mediocre. The service was efficient rather than friendly, the starters took so long we cancelled the order, the mains were the worst burgers we had in Orlando in the 2 weeks we were there and although we were compensated by the manager for our inconvenience (he gave us 50% off the food), the overall experience was poor.
