Half Day Shelling Dolphin Eco Tour In 10 000 Island And Marco

Our captain Paul S was amazing. Truly made the experience above and beyond. We did the dolphin, shelling and sunset tour. Paul S was knowledgeable, funny and helpful.

My grandson and I enjoyed the trip. We saw lots of dolphins up close and found many shells. The long beach walk in the sun was hot but worth it.

We have taken shelling tours before but this was, by far, the best one!! The captain, Jamie, was wonderful. She was very informative, kind and fun. She even got the dolphins to play on our wake on the way back to port. Veronica was also very imformative. She was interactive and answered any questions. I would definitely seek out Sand Dollar Tours and Shelling the next time we are in this area. Also will recommend as first choice of these types of tours. Thanks ladies!!!

What a wonderful excursion and so many shells. The boat was great, the staff amazing and the weather just perfect. During the journey out to the island the captain and master naturalist were pointing out wildlife, explaining about the area and giving interesting facts and information. And that didn’t stop when we reached the shelling location either. Who knew there were so many different names for shells! Veronica was amazing and her passion definitely shone through. All in all an amazing time was had by all!

Jamie, our captain, was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. On the way out to Kice island she explained the role of mangroves in the 10,000 islands. We saw several pods of dolphins feeding and many birds including blue heron and a spoonbill. On the island Jamie directed us to an area that was rich with fresh shells from the storm last night. We collected several bags.

Best experience! Great captain, Paul S. And lots of shells and dolphin viewings! Captain Paul was wonderful. He made sure we had water and anything else we needed. He stayed with us and came ashore to walk with and keep us safe! Thank for accommodating a shelling trip on a one day notice. We were thrilled with all the shells we got and the Junonia!!

Captain Kerrick finds the Shells and the Dolphins!!! Great trip.

Captain Kerrick gave us lots of great info on Goodland, Marco Island and the whole of the ten thousand islands. We learned all about the local wildlife and sea life. We went out early and visted 2 islands just after low tide. We found all the shells we were looking for including lettered olives, welks, tulips, murax, angle wings, sun rays and so many fighting conchs. I even found a sharks eye shell. On the return trip back to the marina we had a small pod of dolphins ride in our wake. The whole experience was 10/10.

This is the 2nd time we’ve gone with Jamie. We love her! We were able to find more than enough shells and got to play dolphins both times. We will be back!

Capt. Kerrick truly made our experience so special! He was full of knowledge and gave us the tips & tricks of the not only the shelling experience but also the history of the Ten Thousand islands! If there were more stars, I’d absolutely give them. To top it all off, we saw dolphins on our way back to the dock & it was the coolest moment that I will forever remember. Capt. Kerrick is the best & if you end up having him as your guide - you’re in excellent hands!

To say I was wowed would be an understatement. I went into this medium expectations and this far exceeded that. When I booked I was told “you’re going to have a great day, you have Captain Jamie, she’s the Dolphin whisperer”. Not knowing that this was the absolute truth! She had dolphins jumping in our wakes playing with us- it was so the coolest thing! Once we pulled up to ten thousand island my mouth was in the floor! We took the 3pm tour so the tied was low and it was treasurers galore!!!! I could not believe the shells we were finding out there. It was such a great experience, captain Jamie was so knowledgeable, fun and kind. I will be coming back and I will be requesting captain Jamie and I will be recommending her and Sand dollar shelling tour to everyone!

It’s definitely worth the money my family had a great trip. It was so much fun for all. We collect the wide variety of shells, including sand dollars.

We enjoyed a great day of shelling today with Captain Paul S- he was so warm, friendly, patient, funny, kind and very knowledgeable about everything! The weather was perfect and we found some great shells. He really took his time with us getting to and from the island- pointing out osprey nests, various wildlife, and dolphins! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Sand Dollar Shelling- can’t wait to return!

Fantastic experience. My wife and I took our 14 year-old New Jersey granddaughter on this trip and we could not have been more pleased. Captain Paul F was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very eager to make sure that we all had a successful and memorable experience. From booking (by phone with Anat) through the magnificent sunset at the end of the trip, it was just perfect. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

My family did the Ten Thousand Islands Shelling, Dolphin and Beach Experience with Captain Paul S. We were not sure what to expect at first, it was our first time for this type of tour and it went above my expectations. Captain Paul S, was a fantastic guide, kind, friendly, attentative and very informative. He was with us at all times helping us and guiding us. He was great with my kids, 8 and 3. Giving them shells, sharing his knowledge with them. We were able to see dolphoins at the beggining of the tour while on our way to the island. Once spotted, Capt Paul S, try his best to get the dolphins to interact and play with the boat, which they did. It was an amaxing experience.

This is a great half day excursion/activity. Captain Kerrick was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, humorous, and so kind. He helped us determine what shells to look out for and tried his best to get the dolphins to come and play in the wake. Alas, the dolphins must have been hungry teenagers that didn’t want to leave their meals. They did pop up on occasion, which is just magical in its own way. You get quite some time to look for shells. Be sure to wear water shoes or sandals that have a good grip to make the most of the experience. Hats, bug spray, and sunscreen are also recommended. You can’t go wrong with this company.

We were with Captain Paul S. He was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and funny. Lots of informative conversation. We did have to leave the island a bit early because of a storm coming through. But ...safety first.

Captain Paul was friendly and fun! He told us so much abt the ecosystem and found the best places to shell. I would recommend them every time!

If you like shelling, this is the experience for you! We saw dolphins on the way out (the captain got them to come uo and jump the boats wake), and then went to an uninhabited island and found the most amazing shelling we'd ever done. They provided shelling bags and water. My daughter completely filled her shelling bag and had to carry it with both hands! Jaime was knowledgeable, kind, and knew all the best spots. We're bringing the rest of the family and doing it again!

Outstanding time. We collected so many types of shells. Captain Kerrick was a wonderful guide. We learned so much, including about “The Old Lady of the Sea”. We had two excellent dolphin encounters. A great time was had by all!

Captain Paul S was awesome !! So many shells, it was overwhelming 😀 Captain Paul saw that I was too hot after shelling, and put me on his seat in the shade for the ride back. Definitely recommend this company and Captain.

Shells galore! Peaceful boat ride with an awesome Captain Joey and he shared details of the different birds and ecosystem. We had five dolphins catching the wave of our boat on the way back to the dock.

5-capt Kerrick was great! He was open to questions, answered them all! Loved his humor. He was really friendly and sincerely concerned that we have a great time. Found some wonderful shells! Looking forward to doing this again with him but in the fall or winter, 90+ degrees was a little much for me. He had water for us, really tried to find us dolphins (they were shy today) but it still was a great time.

The captain was amazing with knowledge abound and a great sense of humor. We found amazing shells, including some very rare shells. The boat was smooth and clean. The cooler was stocked with water.

It was a wonderful experience!! The weather was perfect! Captain Paul and his first mate Christina were fantastic!! They shared great detail about the islands, water inlets, and all the surrounding nature. It was truly amazing. They walked with us on the shelling excursion and explained to us about some of the shells and even picked some up for each of us on the tour. On the way in to the dock we had a great show put on by the dolphins. There was another boat near by and the dolphins played in the wake from the 2 boats, as we raced across the water together. Just an overall great experience.

Capt Kerrick was a great captain! Very interesting history and eco facts were shared. Once at the island, Capt showed us all the different shells and their names. We were also fortunate enough to come across dolphins!

Captain Paul S. was great! He helped us identify shells and was quite the comedian! On the way back we lucked out because Captain Paul S. Found a school of dolphins and I was able to take great video! We’ll definitely sail and shell with him again!
