From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Captain BJ has a natural ability to create an environment that is both safe and enjoyable, making everyone feel comfortable the moment you step on board. Her knowledge of the area, patience, and genuine passion for what she does truly set her apart. Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but she made the entire experience seamless and memorable for all of us. The day was perfectly paced, relaxing, and filled with moments our family will cherish for years to come. It says a lot that we chose to book with her again—and after this second amazing experience, it certainly won’t be our last. This was our second tour with Captain BJ, and it was just as amazing as the first! She is caring, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and took us to several beautiful spots around North Honeymoon Island where our family found so many incredible seashells while learning about the different types along the way. We always leave with wonderful memories and can’t wait to book our next adventure with Captain BJ for even more shelling opportunities!

We reserved two boats for a private trip to celebrate a bachelorette party. Our Captains were Michael and Steve and they were both fantastic. We went to a secluded beach where we could swim, visit, and shell. They also took us to a very chill and delicious lunch spot. But by far the best part was when they found a pod of dolphins and encouraged them to basically chase our wake along the Clearwater shoreline. It was so epic and amazing! Everyone talked about how much we enjoyed our once in a lifetime experience with A Boat Day!

A 5 star rating isn’t high enough! We rented 3 pontoons for a group of Seniors and from the first phone call to the evening pictures the 3 Captains: Bj, Matt and Marcos were fantastic! Personalized pick up and drop off, and restaurant recommendations! Highly recommend from parents and seniors! Two thumbs up and the highlight of their trip!

We took a bachelorette trip with Captain BJ this last week and it was a 10/10 experience. Loved having an all girl's trip because it really allowed us to let loose and have fun. She took us to all the stops, set us up for slide use, had floats, and a net to lay in as well. Super funny and made sure to stop at least twice for us to get some good dolphin videos. She also got some group photos for us as well without having to ask. Highly recommend for a bachelorette trip and the 4-hour boat ride was the perfect length of time! Worth the money!

I went on this boat as part of a bachelorette trip and Captain BJ was our captain- she was incredible!! Awesome music taste, made us all feel comfortable and knowledgeable before departing onto the water! We even got to see dolphins! I would absolutely recommend- was definitely scared to be on a boat before this, but she gave such great guidance and made it such a fun experience I would go again. Fun activity if you’re in Tampa for a short while :)

We were in Tampa for a bachelorette party, booked a private boat ride in Clearwater, and it was one of the highlights of our trip!!! Captain BJ made the trip so fun. She made sure we got to do everything we had in mind and made sure we had the best time. Highly recommend for a fun day on the water!!

Captain BJ was amazing! Went as a bachelorette excursion and our group was so happy to see we had a female captain. My favorite part was going shell hunting off the Gulf! She even had cool tricks to make the dolphins come out. At one point our anchor got stuck and we told her she didn’t need no man to help in which she then used her superwoman strength to get us unstuck. Bachelorette parties, I’d highly recommend requesting Captain BJ!

Had an amazing and seamless trip with A Boat Day. Our trip was even better with Captain BJ! We were a bachelorette trip and this was the highlight of our trip because of our amazing Captain 😊 She had an ice chest ready, was clear with instructions, took great pics, and overall provided us with a great time! Special shout out to the dolphin experience she gave us too!

They were very knowledgeable about the areas to go and relax. The captain was very easy going and professional.

Our half day boat trip could not have been better. We saw Dolphins jumping behind our boat and got lots of pictures and videos. We stopped at 2 locations and went snorkeling and walking on the beach looking for shells. Captain B.J. was awesome! She was fun and took us to the best spots and showed us some sites of interest in the way out and back in. I will definitely be doing this again some day, and I will again ask for Captain B.J.!

Captain BJ was AMAZING! We felt safe and well taken care of from the beginning. BJ went the extra mile to interact with the dolphins in the water and teach us some of the history of the islands. Very cool and fun experience!! Will definitely request BJ for another voyage in the future!

water was so warm and we had a great sunny day. we also got an awesome view of dolphins and they were jumping out of the waves our boat was creating! the slide on the boat was great!

BJ was awesome. We had 3 adults 2 kids and she ensured we had the best time. The shelling and dolphin watching were key memories we will cherish. She tailored our trip to meet the interests of an 8 year old all the way to 65 years young. I felt comfortable and at ease with a confident captain.

Communication was great! Boat was great! Captain was great! He had great suggestions and was knowledgeable. Honeymoon island was beautiful. We collected lots of sea shells and found star fish and sand dollars. We will book again!

What an absolutely fantastic trip! Matt was our captain and we really enjoyed listening to the history and tid bits of information he shared. Stopped at honeymoon Island to do shelling. A couple of us took advantage of the slide into the water. Another great experience.Saw dolphins a few times. They were playing and following our boat , almost close enough to touch. Super incredible experience. Worth every penny we spent and Matt was the perfect captain.

The meeting spot was easy to get to. Captain Steve explained everything we needed to do before we got on the boat. He even texted me and asked if we wanted to start earlier to miss the chance of storms. The boat was great and had plenty of room. (3 adults 2 kids). Captain Steve was knowledgeable about currents and tides and how to get the dolphins to jump behind the boat. We just sat back and relaxed. He anchored and got everything set for us. Captain Steve for the win. We will definitely do this every time we come back.

Such a FUN day full of watching dolphin, hearing great local facts, island hopping, and of course enjoying the slide and floats on this incredible boat! Our family ranges from ages 10 - 72 and we all agreed it was simply a perfect day and perfect way to explore! Captain Eric truly was patient, caring, welcoming, and kept us feeling safe at all times. He had everything we needed on board and the communication since the time of booking was phenomenal! We will be back and certainly hope to have Captain Eric again to ensure all goes smooth and we can simply sit back and enjoy another wonderful day on the water!

The tour was outstanding. We saw dolphin, manatee, fish and birds. Exploring multiple sandbars and launching off the slide were highlights. Our captain was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Best part of our trip to Clearwater! Our family rented the boat for 6 hours. Captain Marcos took us to Caledesi Island and Honeymoon Island! We found some amazing shells and sand dollars! It was so beautiful! Then a storm came in. They scheduled us for the remainder of our boat trip with Captain Mike a couple days later! We saw lots of dolphins and enjoyed the slide and water raft! We will definitely be booking with A Boat Day next year! Thank you to our captains, Mike and Marcos and Cassie for making this such a wonderful surprise for our daughter’s 12th Birthday!

Had great time out on boat! Kids enjoyed the slide and hanging out on upper deck. Was high tide with full moon so not as much sandy beach as I would have liked. Will have to go again!

Our family had a BLAST!! We enjoyed the comfort of the boat while seeing a manatee & dolphins! We loved using the big Sun Chill raft when wanting to soak up the sun. Captain Randy knew the best spot to dive for sand dollars, and took us to an island to find shells. You HAVE TO TRY THE WATER SLIDE!!!

What a fabulous boat day! Actually our third boat trip with “A Boat Day” and absolutely wonderful. Captain Mike brought us to the tip of Honeymoon Island and the water was perfect. We saw dolphins and Mike took a video of us in the water as a manatee swam by the boat for a visit. The kids and adults had so much fun on the slide. Looking forward to next summer’s boat day. Our family & friends had so much fun!!! Of course the slide was a huge highlight for the kids (& adults!!) and even if there was no slide, the experience on the boat was incredible! A manatee came so close to the boat and several dolphins throughout the day! Captain Randy took us to all the fun spots, including where sand dollars can be found, and an island for some beach fun, where we found several cool seashells!! Breathtaking views and a knowledgeable, laid back captain make for a spectacular unforgettable day!!!!!

What an amazing afternoon we had on the water with Captain Steve for my 60th Birthday!!! All of us had never experienced seeing so many Mom and baby dolphins. We were relaxed and chill listening to music and oh how FUN the slide is and the floating ring was so comfortable to sit on in the ocean. We will be booking again for sure and will be requesting Captain Steve!! THANK YOU again for a fabulous afternoon!!!!!

Had a wonderful time on the boat with my friends and family for the afternoon. Captain Matt was focused on both safety and fun. We had a wonderful time exploring the water and the beaches. Our highlight was seeing the dolphins play in our wake and enjoying our time together. Can’t thank Captain Matt enough for his patience and for finding us all a sand dollar!

This was the best day! We were celebrating for a bachelorette party and all the girls had a blast! We saw dolphins and spent time at a little island. The views were stunning and our captain made our trip just perfect! I wish I could have stayed all day! Can’t wait to book this tour again!

We went to CLW for a bachelorette party and there were 11 of us. A Boat day was very accommodating with a larger group and quick to answering emails. During the morning of our scheduled boat day one of our girls had an emergency which made us a half hour late, Captain Eric (who btw is GREAT) let us hang out at the sandbar and extra half hour because we lost the one in the beginning. Def going to be recommending this company to anyone who is visiting the area.

Captain Eric was AMAZING!! Highlight of my bachelorette was spending the day on the water with him and my best friends! Captain Eric was so fun to talk with and he was very knowledgeable of the area. We had such a great time during our charter. Jordan was a wonderful captain, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything on our trip bucket list was checked off. Dolphins? Done. Island? Done. Shells? Done. Boat toys and slide? Done. The kids loved it. It was relaxing and just what we needed. We were 5 adults and 3 kids. We had plenty of space. We brought drinks and snacks as well. Could not recommend this company enough for booking your boat day. I would absolutely book again.

We rented the Buccs boat for our bestfriends bachelorette party, and it was worth every penny! I cannot recommend Captain Matt enough! He alone made our day trip 100x better! He was dealing with a group of 9 women from Boston and he fit right in. He made sure we saw the dolphins and gave us just enough info about where we were boating. Then when it came to the sand bar he kept us safe and happy and having fun! It was by far the best day we had during our long weekend! You will not regret your boat day with captain Matt! If you see him- tell him Ashley the chick with tattoos and a scarf said hi!

Captain Matt was amazing, the boat was clean, well maintained and spacious for a group of 9. But without Captain Matt we wouldn't have had such a fun day. Very attentive to our needs and kept it fun and safe.
