Half Day Private Boat Tour

Awesome experience and the captain was very helpful

They organised a custom tour to suit our family (with a 6 and a 3 year old) mixing snorkelling and wildlife. We saw manatees up close, local birds and finished snorkelling with sting rays, lobsters & parrotfish! Cap Martin was insightful and entertaining. The boat was super comfortable, well equipped, with lots of shade for the wee one. I was concerned about having too long a tour with the little one, but we could have stayed longer.

Captain Martini was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. While the weather prevented us from making it out to Alligator light house as we had planned, captain martini was able to pivot and give us a great wildlife experience. We had a very nice day.

Henry is one of the best tour guides I’ve had in my life. His knowledge of the area is vast, and you will depart a tour with him with a deep appreciation of the area. 10/10.

We have taken a boat tour with Keyz Charters every year since 2020 and have never been disappointed! This year was a 3 hour snorkeling tour in beautiful Islamorada. Our boat captain, Henry, was awesome! He's very knowledgeable about the Keys and provided many interesting facts and stories. We had such a great time with him last year, we requested him again.

Capt. Christie made our half day tour absolutely perfect. My husband and I soaked in the sun, ocean, and all of Christie’s knowledge about everything from marine life to island history. Despite the winds, she made sure our excursion was fun. The best part was she helped us customize the 4 hours on the boat to see and experience everything we wanted. I would definitely book again from KeyZ Charters.

Spent a week in the keys with high winds. Had many trips and snorkels canceled. KeyZ didn't bail! We did special Bayside experiences and saw awesome stuff. A moray eel! A troupe of parrot fish. A yellow spotted sting ray. A manatee! Christie was a charming host and we were so lucky to have a fun custom experience when otherwise landbound.

Henry was our boat captain and made the adventure fun and entertaining. We saw manatees, so many birds and dolphins! Beautiful sunset also.

We are a family of 5 with children ranging 9-17 years old. We booked with keyZ charters for a 3 hour private charter. Our boat Captain was Henry and he was amazing! Our experience with KeyZ Charters was excellent! We asked to go to Alligator Lighthouse and they provided us with a great time. Seas were perfect and current was minimal Capt Henry was top notch! He provided us with everything we needed and also gave us a great understanding of not only the lighthouse but of the local area. We had the best time with Henry on our private snorkeling trip to Alligator Reef, which was an amazing experience. The water is beautiful, and we saw nurse sharks, barracuda, grouper, etc. Henry was knowledgeable, very helpful, and great with our 12-year-old. I highly recommend using this company! Loved our eco tour! I am a local and still learned so much about the history and wildlife in the keys. Henry personalized the tour to the needs of my family, and was extremely nice to us. Definitely worth the price.

Superb experience with Meg. We just loved it and Meg made it even better. We are really grateful 🥰. The spots where we went are beautiful because it Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Ocean. San Pedro wreck and Indian creek island. We truly recommend KeyZ Charters and Meg.

My husband and I took our German Shepherd out for a half day with Captain Meg. She was great! Very helpful and patient while our dog got acclimated. We were dodging rain, but Meg masterfully tracked the storms to help us avoid raindrops and make the most of our time. Highly recommend!

Myself, my husband, and four sons ages 11-17 took this half day trip to get out on the water, and we loved this boat outing! Henry quickly made us feel welcome and his knowledge of boating and the area made me feel like we were in great hands. He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, and the Keys in general, and knew all the places to take us. We snorkeled at the lighthouse, saw tons of birds, a crocodile, and so many other things👍🏼 this was a great way to end our trip to the Keys!

We had a great time on our Half Day Private Boat Tour with Jessie. Jessie was super friendly, knowledgeable a good boat captain and tour guide. I took the family and we snorkeled on Alligator Reef and Chicks and Hens reef. We saw a large dolphin pod off Alligator reef and we stopped in the mangroves to see a manatee just hanging out under the mangrove trees. A fun boat ride to each location and really good to be on a private tour with Jessie. Thanks Jessie we had a great time with you on the private boat tour around points in Islamorada. We found that a number of locals were familar with you too ... you are popular.

My friend and I went out with captain Sam this week and all I can say is “wow!” Captain Sam is a master behind the wheel and knows all the good spots for snorkeling and sightseeing. Captain Sam is native to the keys and it shows- excellent trip and would highly recommend!

Our sunset cruise was awesome. Samantha is so knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. The mangrove tour was amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t see any dolphins but would definitely cruise with Samantha again.

My husband and I had a great time with Samantha on this trip! She took us to great locations around Islamorada. We saw manatees, dolphins, all kinds of fish, a ship wreck, then mangroves and at the end of the trip she set up the boat to have the dolphins surf our wake. It was a truly amazing trip. In addition, Samantha is very knowledgable about the ocean and the wildlife in the keys. We highly recommend this trip and try to book it with Samantha.

We had a great time on our private 3-hour snorkeling/eco-tour combo adventure. We saw tons of vibrantly colored fish and sea turtles while snorkling at Cheeca Rocks, and a brown shark and lots of pretty birds among the mangroves during the eco-tour. Captain Sam is very knowledgeable about the water, the sea-life, the birds and the vegetation. She was very diligent about keeping an eye on the weather, days before and during our adventure, to make sure the winds and rain did not spoil anything. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

We were a party of three couples scrambling to fill a cancelled trip by another boat. Saw KeyZ moored up a Robbie's Marina and gave them a call. Captain Sam was like having a local friend who knows the water and marine life like the back of her hand. She took us both to places she suggested (reefs and a sandbar boat party spots) and places we were curious about (locations from the show Bloodline.) Everyone on the docks knew her and it speaks volumes that they all treated her like a friend and called her by name. If you want a safe and flexible tour that does not feel rushed or shilled up to be a fake party, this is it. We did not have kids with us, but I imagine this would have been a very good choice for a medium sized family as well.

We had a great time on our Half Day Private Boat Tour with Captain Sam. She was super friendly, knowledgeable and just fun to be around. She made it seem like we were just out for a boat ride with an old friend. We snorkeled a reef, hung out at the sandbar, saw manatees, saw toilet seat cut and had simply an awesome boat ride. Thanks Captain Sam for what was one of our favorite activities while we were in Islamorada.
