Guided Reef Snorkeling Tour In Pompano Beach

Our experience was canceled due to “winds and thunderstorms” and there was no bad weather at that time. We showed up because we didn’t see the message until this morning and it was very unclear where to go once we showed up to the address.

You walk to the beach and snorkel from the beach area. Youre limited on what you see in the water since youre so close to the shore. The guide was very accommodating to our needs!

We had a wonderful snorkeling adventure with Jacques! His knowledge and expertise helped not only our family, but everyone in the group feel relaxed, confident and safe. The amount of time spent in the water was perfect and the value for the experience was excellent. We would do this again and highly recommended it for everyone!

Jacques was our guide. He had all the equipment that we needed ready. He looked after us as we snorkeled over the reef and fish. And we saw fish! He pointed them out to us when he spotted them. When a snorkel popped off a mask, he was right there to put it back in place. It was a great trip!

Jacques was a very friendly and accommodating guide. He was concerned with our safety and wanted to make sure we had a good experience. The equipment was excellent. We went in the afternoon and the current was a bit strong but Jacques made sure we navigated it well. It might be better in the morning. We saw a lot of different fish. It was convenient because we could park where we were meeting Jacques and the parking was free. The beach was very nice.

Our guide Jacques was awesome!! My kids had such a great time! They were a little nervous but he was great with them while we were out in the ocean.

Jacques was a great tour guide. He is great with inexperienced snorkelers, and helped us a lot with putting on our gear properly. He pulled us on a raft the whole time to make sure we felt safe. I learned a lot about different fish that live in the reef.

Jacques was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! Our group ranged in age from 14-80, and he was able to meet everyone’s needs. Communication before the session was excellent. He had great, up-to-date equipment. Instructions for safety and equipment use were clear and concise. He guided us out to the reef from the shore, and we were able to see lots of fish. We were lucky enough to see a ray, a trumpet fish, a BIG puffer fish, lots of parrotfish, and Dory (blue tang). Jacques was great about signaling us when there was a particularly cool thing to see. Absolutely highly recommend. We would most certainly snorkel with Jacques again. Thank you!!

We had an amazing snorkel experience. It was my daughter and I and four others in the group . Jacques did a terrific job explaining what to do prior to going in the water. When in the water, he was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the different fish we saw and making everyone feel comfortable. I will definitely book again! Jacques was amazing! A very experienced guide, he was friendly, considerate, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. Jacques does small groups only, which was really a plus! Our group was made up of six, ages ranging from 10 - 73. He even quelled all fears that our youngest ( and oldest ) brought up! Jacques made each one of us feel comfortable. He took every precaution in preparing us for our snorkeling experience... sharing information with us about the ocean conditions on the day we were going out, what to expect to see, and reviewing how to use the equipment. Very nice equipment ( by the way )! Each one of us had a great time, and look forward to doing this snorkeling experience again on our next trip to Florida!

Cancelled the day of, but he didn't call or text me to let me know. Viator sent an email, but I don't check email every hour of the day, so we waited for 45 minutes until I called Viator and they told me. It was my daughter's first snorkeling trip, so she was very disappointed.

We are a group of 4 who booked individually. Each of our bookings were canceled by the company the day before the adventure, due to apparent overbooking, but only after being confirmed via email. So that sucked. If you’re going to book with this company, definitely have a backup plan.

This was my first time snorkeling, and the instructor helped me feel safe and well informed prior to going out in the water. He was showing us different species of fish throughout the trip and we even saw a sting ray. He made sure all participants stayed close and were feeling comfortable with their snorkel. Overall a wonderful experience.

An excellent trip expertly lead by our guide Jacques. It was my 12 year old daughters first experience in the ocean with snorkel and fins. Jacques is an excellent tutor, patient and guided us effortlessly. Strongly recommend this experience.

A must-do if you’re vacationing in the Pompano Beach area! It was my first time snorkeling and I got to see two sea turtles, a 5 foot tarpan fish, and many other beautifully colored fish. Other people in our group saw a nurse shark and some crabs and lobsters too. What was also great about the experience was the tour guide, Jacques. He went over all safety precautions and how to use the equipment thoroughly before we went out to the water which made us feel safe and prepared. My Mom is also not a strong swimmer and doesn’t have the best balance when walking in and out of the ocean when the waves are bigger, and Jacques helped her safely in the water and let her hang on to the floating buoy while we snorkeled which was a tremendous help and made my Moms experience so much more enjoyable and comfortable. Jacques also helped point out animals to everyone and made sure we all stayed together. He also watched out for everyone to make sure we stayed safe. What was also really neat about the experience was we took a short walk to the beach to put our fins on and then swam out to the reef (and don’t worry it’s not a far swim), instead of taking a boat ride. If you’re on the fence, just book it! It’s reasonably priced and worth it. We would totally do again!

The instructor, Gaques, was very clear with the instructions, he guided us through the ocean and the experience was just amazing

The guide was great. I went without knowing how to swim and still enjoyed the experience. The reefs and marine life were great.

Jacques was super nice and prepared. He checked with me the day before to make sure he had our shoes sizes for our fins. Met at the spot and with a short walk we were at the beach and gearing up. Kids had a great time and he was extremely helpful with my youngest who isn’t a strong swimmer. Thanks for the awesome trip

First time snorkeling, and it was a great experience! It was very professional and very fun! Also very informative, we learned a lot! We would definitely book again!

Jacques was very professional and knowledgable! We saw lots of fish and sea creatures along the reef. He provided excellent equiptment for those of us withour gear.

My husband and I sought a snorkeling experience that didn't require a long boat ride or involve too many people. Adrenalised's snorkel tour description came the closest to what we wanted. We even made the drive from Miami's South Beach an hour away. We got to park in an underground garage in a nice building just across the street from the beach. We didn't bring any valuables with us - just towels and cooler bag with drinks. You can bring your own snorkels, masks, and fins but these can be provided if needed. I bought my full-length wetsuit because I don't like cold water. My suit helped me relax and float easier. We dropped off our things on the beach, slipped on our fins and slowly backed into the water. We lucked out that no one else scheduled to snorkel during our window so we basically had a private tour with Jacques. This worked out well for us because my husband and I are on different extremes of the swim-meter. He's a swimmer and diver and I'm not very comfortable in the water. Fortunately, Jacques spent most of his life in the water and much of his adult life serving in a diver capacity with a wide range of personality-types. He was very encouraging and managed to calm me down when I thought I was too tired even before we got to the reef. Thank goodness I continued because I got to see so many critters: lobsters, eels, so many fish. The sweetest thing was having a couple of fish following us during our adventure, as if we were a part of its school. The whole adventure was an hour and half - just the right amount of time. We were able to rinse and change, reloaded our car, and then we were on our way with smiles and good memories. The experience was stress-free and worth the drive. Highly recommend Jacques to host your snorkel adventure!

I signed up to go snorkeling at the Pompano Beach reef. Jacques was prompt, knowledgeable and kind. We saw parrot fish, angel fish, a turtle and a spotted eal! I highly recommend this snorkeling tour.

Unfortunately we could not snorkel because of rough seas. Was notified and explained immediately along with a full refund. My family and I ended up spending the day at the beach but were unable to enjoy the ocean that day because as was told to us it would be too rough.

Jacques was awesome. He took his time explaining how to use the equipment and what to expect once we were in the water. During the snorkeling, he pointed out the different kinds of fish. We got to see turtles, lobster, rays and a nurse shark!! Awesome experience and highly recommend it. Martha

Due to late arriving guests and then the “jet skis getting too close”, the actual time in the water snorkeling was only 30 minutes. Our friend who did not accompany us on the snorkeling journey, snapped photos of us going onto the water at 2:20pm and exiting the water at 2:50pm. Thirty minutes of actually snorkeling at $55 each for our party of 2, is unacceptable.

this was such a fun experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable on animals and was very helpful in pointing them out during the tour. Also, he prepared us very well before we even got onto the beach on how to use the equipment 10 out of 10 would recommend and would do it again.

The guide Jacque was great! He stayed with us the whole time and pointed out different things to look at in the ocean to be sure we didn’t miss anything. He is very knowledgeable and personable. We had an amazing time!

We booked this snorkeling tour very last minute and Jacques was gracious in booking and then rescheduling to the next morning because visibly conditions had deteriorated. He was great with communication, explaining what to expect, and pointing out sealife while in the water. He was also very patient and kind with our apprehensive 13-yr-old daughter. Definitely recommend!

Jacques was absolutely amazing! He was very professional and took great care of us. It was super easy for us to find the meeting spot. I guess some other person was supposed to be in our group, but she couldn’t find the meeting spot, which was 100% HER fault. Jacques was very patient with her despite her being incredibly rude to him. The way he handled this other customer just further showed us how professional he is. Another thing that I really appreciated about Jacques was when he saw a piece of trash on the ocean floor, he would dive down to retrieve it so he could throw it away later. That’s something I really respect. I got seasick and we eventually had to head back to shore, but Jacques was very kind and understanding. After we got back to shore, he gave us recommendations of restaurants we could go to in the area as well. I truly can’t recommend this experience enough! If we ever come back to FL, we’ll definitely reach out to Jacques again! (And I’ll take some motion sickness meds lolol) Thanks for the great time!

Jacques was awesome to snorkel with. He was informative. His equipment was very high quality. He took us across the street from the meeting spot to the beach and we snorkeled right there. We were lucky to see a spotted eagle ray. He took a short video of the encounter with the ray and texted it to us! We had a young girl who was a beginner and rather anxious and he was very patient and kind with her. Would definitely go snorkeling with Jacques again!

John did an excellent job explaining what we were seeing throughout the snorkeling tour. We saw lots of fish, a huge sting ray, a nurse shark, and of course the coral reef. Highly recommended!

Jacques was wonderful! Very patient and helpful. It was just my husband and I. he explained everything and helped us with the equipment. We hadn't been snorkeling for a few years and our last experience was actually a little scary. I felt very comfortable with Jacques. He helped us into the beach when the current got a little strong.

Our guide jacques was great and we really enjoyed seeing what was on the reef so close to shore. We saw, barracuda, turtle and small Stingray. Along with other colourful fish 🐠

Booked this as an experience to make our trip more memorable. Jacques was in touch early because the weather was too windy for snorkeling so we pivoted to a surf lesson (perfect weather for it!) for my teen kids. He is a great instructor, relaxed and very methodical, so the kids made a ton of progress in just one lesson. And most importantly, they had a lot of fun and would do it again! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Pompano Beach. Lesson location was walking distance from our beach location south of the pier but you can also park across the street from the lesson location.
