Guided Kayak Eco Tour - Bunche Beach

We had a fantastic experience! Our guide, Robert, was extremely knowledgeable about the area, as well as the nature and wildlife we encountered along the way. He made the tour both interesting and enjoyable, and it was great to learn more about the surroundings while being out on the water. Everything was well organized, and we felt in very good hands throughout the trip. All in all, a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing kayak excursion at Pelican Bay! 🌊🛶 Our guide, Chris, was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see manatees, dolphins, and so many beautiful birds (even a few rare ones!). It truly felt like a one-of-a-kind adventure, and everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re thinking about booking a tour—do it! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Had a great time on the manatee and dolphin eco tour. We saw at least 8 manatees including a mom and a baby. Our guide Michael was fantastic. We actually left from their Pelican bay location but I could find where to review that tour. But it was the same company. I choose this tour because of their commitment to respecting the wildlife and not exploiting them and I was not disappointed. The guide was very clear that the animals safety and well being come first.

We had a wonderful time. The narrow passageways thru the mangroves were cool. We saw several manatees which was a first for any of us. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful kayaking experience through the mangroves. The scenery was peaceful and unique, and it was such a great way to explore nature up close. Our guide Sam was incredibly helpful, patient, and encouraging—especially since my kids and I were moving a bit slower than the rest of the group. They made sure we felt comfortable the entire time and never rushed us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing outing that I would highly recommend to families.

We took this tour as experienced kayakers. I was visiting my parents in Fort Myers, we have kayaked in other areas of Florida but not here. We like the guilded tour because we didn't know where to go. Our tourguide Jake was very knowledgeable and patient with the group. We took the 3 hour ecotour and there were some inexperienced people, but he was great with them, explaining everything. The tour group size was perfect. We thought we might be the only ones but there were about 10 people, which was perfect. We went through the mangroves, and in the ocean, and had a little beach stop that breaks up the 3 hours. There was a lot of paddling and we were in the ocean and against the wind, so I recommend this tour for people who are healthy and strong. Maxwell is the person who greeted us, got us set up with our life vests and helped us out of the kayaks when we got back. He was great too.

I really enjoyed kayaking through the narrow mangroves. I would have never had the nerve to do that on my own and would probably have gotten lost. Our guide was knowledgeable. We saw flying fish, dolphins, a small shark and many birds.

Our tour guide Ty was very knowledgeable about the environment - we kayaked amongst the mangroves and stopped on a beach to collect shells!

A beautiful and educational excursion through the mangroves and along the coast for 3 hrs with a stop on the beach. Lots of wildlife to view and a guide who was very informative and entertaining.

We found the tour quite boring. Our guide didn’t speak at all nor tell us about the area we were kayaking in. Also, so much of th tour was in open water. It was extremely windy and very hard to paddle.

We had a great time on our kayak trip. there were just 6 of us and our guide so we were able to hear easily. We saw a mother and baby manatee. Our guide picked up live conch shells and lightning welk shells that had the creature inside. He also found a string of lightning welk eggs to show us. Very interesting and informative.

Our guide Sam made it very educational! He spotted maninaties, a shark, several birds and a iguana in a tree. We really enjoyed the afternoon!

Samuel was incredibly knowledgeable, had a great pace, stopped us at the beach to stretch our legs and walk around on the sand bars. 10/10 experience. We saw all types of herons, manatees and horseshoe crabs!

Wonderful Kayak ecotour of the mangroves and Bunche Beach area of Ft Myers’s. Our tour guide Sam was professional,skilled and full of amazing facts on the wildlife, history and Florida nature. Would highly recommend this kayak tour for firstimers up to seasoned paddlers. The trip was easy paced over 3 hours long, and we saw plenty of manatee, sea turtles, fish, horshoe crabs and birds. Bring sunscreen, and bug spray for no see-ums, (bugs were a non-issue the day we went).

Excellent time! Rob was a great guide. He even made sure we caught the low tide to hang out on a Sandbar for awhile. Very cool experience!

We love kayaking after our first trip out with Robert. Amazing to see all the beautiful places that close to the water. Robert showed us the many see animals on our beach stop as well as pointing out the various birds. Thanks for getting us started in kayaking, we’re enthusiasts thanks to Robert.

We arrived 15 minutes before our tour, and everything was set up for us and ready to go. Sam, our guide, was great. He was knowledgable and friendly. The kayaking was easy, and the breaks were nicely spaced. We saw a mama and baby manatee, a dolphin, lots of birds and fish, and hermit crabs. Definitely would recommend to anyone who loves the water, sea life, and nature's beauty.

Santiago was a great group leader. Even though the mangrove tunnel was not accessible, he took us on a different route out through the bay and we had a great time - even saw some manatees up close!

Sam was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He even knew what city in Texas his wife was from! We had a wonderful afternoon kayaking through the mangroves and meeting a pod of manatees! Highly recommended!!

This tour started out well, kayaking through the mangroves. After that the tour fell apart. Our guide stopped paying attention to us and actually abandoned us. We didn’t know where to go and were having a hard time. Finally the guide came back, but was not concerned. It went from fun to scary.

Kayaks were fine. Guide Hailey was sweet and answered all our tourist questions. Saw a lot of birds and fish, no dolphins or manatees. Tour cut short by a storm with lightening brewing so we had to head back . The only negative was that the booking app combined our longer 2.5-3 hour tour with another group that was a 1 hour, so we had to return with them and go out again. Not the guide's fault.

We had a really great time kayaking through the mangroves of Bunche Beach. Especially because our Guide Chase was very friendly, helpful and funny. Throughput the 2.5 hour tour he gave very good instructions how to safely steer the kayak through the mangrove tunnels and the sea. He also told us everything about the native animals and the ecosystem We had a lot of fun and totally recommend this tour! Thank you very much for this amazing day!

Cayla was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. Interesting learning about the mangroves, such a peaceful paddle through the tunnels. . We saw a manatee, bull sharks, turtles and many birds. Definitely a fun add to our trip with friends. Well worth it!

We had Sam as our tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about the mangrove, manatees, turtles etc. Learned quite a bit. Especially liked the story of Gasper the pirate🤣. Sam treated us very well. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Very much a five-star experience! I took this tour with my sister and nephew (13). We are experienced kayakers, and kayaking through mangroves was a completely different (and amazing) experience from the open-water style we were used to. You are up close on both sides as you go through mangrove channels. We saw so much, and learned a lot from our amazing guide, Sam. The stop for a swim and explore on the beach, the subsequent successful search for manatees, the history lessons - all made the morning so engaging and fun! We had two other people in our group who were not experienced with kayaking, and I believe that they had an excellent time as well.

We had a wonderful kayak experience with this tour company. All the staff members we interacted with were very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. Rachel was our guide and she was absolutely fabulous! She has a wealth of knowledge growing up in the area and furthering her studies with the ecology area in college. Highly recommended this company.

Had an awesome tour through the mangroves! Our guide, Chase, was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and area in general. He also took some great pictures of us. The tandem kayak was perfect for myself and my grandmother.

My son and I enjoyed a leisurely tour led by Rachel. It was a bit windy so we couldn’t go to an area that sometimes held manatee, but we still had a nice tour.

Cayla was a great guide-very knowledgeable…..I would do this tour again. Very windy day and she made sure we stayed around the mangroves; we stopped to walk the beach and she pointed out various shells, crabs, etc

We had a great trip! Our guide , Cayla, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made an effort to get to know everyone on the trip and also to make sure everyone was having a good time. We saw lots of wildlife. The stop at the white sand beach was a nice break and a great place for shelling.

Chase was a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable about the history of area. We were able to see dolphins when we stopped at Bunche beach. Kayaking through the mangroves was a experience of a lifetime

Excellent tourguides, good equipment. Paced for our particular group, in our 70s. Very close up in personal interaction with a manatee, probably my favorite part of the trip.

Guide was great super fun! Manatees were not in season, but we managed to find a mom and a baby and another one. Plenty of photo op and they take great pictures- a great day!

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide Cayla was so fun and knowledgeable! She knew about every bird and fish we saw in detail. The plant life too! We had an amazing time and would definitely do it again!
