We HIGHLY recommend this tour! It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Kayaking was so much fun. Pedal kayaking is so much easier than using paddles. We feel most anybody could participate in this excursion so long as you can pedal! It is not strenuous at all.. The scenery was beautiful and the entire excursion was memorable. Do not hesitate to book. It's a wonderful way to enjoy the area and create lasting memories. We have done a lot of traveling and excursions & this tour is one I would not miss! We would DEFINITELY do again! We hope to do the sunset kayaking next time we are visiting in Florida! We were extremely fortunate to have our guide Doug to ourselves. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and awesome! Doug took so many fabulous memorable pictures of us! Not only is Doug a fantastic guide but also a great photographer!🩵

Doug was exceptional! Very knowledgeable about the habitat and marine life. This was our first kayaking experience and it was a memorable one. Doug also gave us extra time at a beach we stopped at to go shelling and to just enjoy the scenery. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the COOLEST kayak excursion we’ve ever done! Doug is so knowledgable and allowed us to take a nice slow pace (teenager & mom). We learned so much about the area, got super close to dolphins & the secret shelling beach was awesome!! Plus he took fabulous pictures of us! Amazing memories made!

WOW! Our tour guide Doug was absolutely amazing. We were able to see a ton of manatee, sharks and even a rare pink bird (forgot the name). Extremely knowledgeable, and just a fun guy to be around. We will 100% be bad. An experience we will never forget especially having the manatee underneath the kayak and flipping our son off the kayak. Unbelievable and so much fun! Pedaling a kayak is so much more pleasant than paddling! These kayaks are awesome and well worth the fee, especially since I won't have sore arms for the rest of the vacation. Doug was the highlight of our tour, even though we were lucky enough to see a herd of manatees and a dolphin, and we were able to be out in the gulf on super calm waters on a clear beautiful day. He was knowledgeable about the flora and fauna we saw, had lots of recommendations for around the area, and made sure we were comfortable. Will have to come back during higher tides to see mangrove tunnels. Book the hobies, book a tour, you'll love it! -Meredith from Ohio

My family and I took the guided Hobie tour with Doug and had an absolute blast. Due to the low tides, Doug led us on an extended Gulf tour where we got to hang out with a herd of manatees and learn about the local wildlife. He was an overall outstanding tour guide (we likely would not have seen the manatees without his good eye) and took amazing photos of us through the entire trip. He was accommodating to my mother who has limited mobility from multiple knee surgeries and helped us get familiarized with the hobie style kayaks before we took off which were very fun to use. He also came prepared with ice cold waters, dry bags, and most importantly, a great uplifting vibe!

This was our second tour with Doug, and we did the Hobie paddle kayak tour. Definitely a 5 star experience, with a 5 star guide. Dolphins, manatees, sharks, roseate spoonbills, amazing trip. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

Our second time and still a highlight of our trip! We had an incredible time on our kayak tour with Ethan! We were a group of four (me, my wife, and our two teenage boys), and everyone had a blast. The Hobie pedal drive kayaks make exploring so effortless and fun. Ethan was an awesome guide who took great photos throughout the trip and shared them all with us right at the end. The tour wasn't crowded at all, and a light rain mid-trip actually provided a super refreshing cool-off. We’re already planning to come back for a third time! Highly recommend

We had an awesome time on this tour! We were a group of 10, including four kids ages 11–14, and everyone had a great experience. Our guide, Keoni, was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job keeping the whole group engaged. He pointed out wildlife, shared interesting information about the area, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the tour. The Hobie pedal kayaks were easy to use and made the trip even more enjoyable. This ended up being one of the highlights of our vacation. We’d definitely recommend it to families or groups visiting the area.

Our guide was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable about all the plants and wildlife and had the perfect demeanor to handle all personalities. We were able to see a dolphin, many different birds, and my husband had a close encounter with a manatee! So much fun!

Mike was a pleasure to have as a tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and provides a wonderful experience. Coming prepared with water and shell bags for visitors. He’s very thorough in his explanations of the equipment but also patient and helpful when things are a bit challenging. I wish him and his crew all the best in future. An easy going, fun few hours on the water with Doug today. He was so knowledgeable and so eager to please. I would recommend this tour with my new buddy Doug for anyone - young or not quite too old. It is a lot of pedaling but manageable. Birds are awesome. No manatee or dolphin this afternoon, maybe next time!

Doug was awesome; full of fun information about the area and wildlife; we had a blast. My two sons (19 & 14) loved the trip. Price is very fair in our opinion. We had awesome weather.

Excellent laid back tour. Learned about the local ecosystem and enjoyed a day on the water.

It was physically easy and comfortable even for this 78 year old woman but I did have my strong grandson in the back doing most of the padding! We didn’t see much wildlife but that depends on the particular day and conditions, not something one can control. The guide, Keoni, was wonderful, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. There is no shade so lots of sunscreen, hats and water is recommended, water provided by the guide.

Doug was a great guide! He had lots and lots of patience having to deal with us because we were inexperienced when it comes to kayaking.

We saw dolphins multiple times and really enjoyed touring through the mangroves.

Ethan was an amazing guide. He is in college to learn marine biology and we able to point out the local wildlife as well as tell us about them. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and paced the tour for the abilities of the guests, hanging back at times to help the smaller kids. Mike's equipment is secund to none. The hobie pedal kayaks are so simple to operate and even after 4 miles my wife and I felt great. We paddled with dolphins more than once on the tour. We're going to be back in the area again in October and December and will definitely grab another trip.

Doug did an amazing job, this tour was best thing we did on the family vacation this whole week. The length was perfect and also we got to see a bunch of wildlife and even some rare species, also got up close in the mangroves. Great experience.

Buzz (our guide) and wonder-dog JJ toured us around the mangrove Islands and a little bit out into the Gulf. We got lucky and started our journey with a manatee sighting, and ended it with playful dolphins - seeing Osprey and Pelicans and herons and tons of other birds in between. Great pictures! So nice. Informative. Relaxing We were on the Hobie-kayaks - highly recommend that trip!

Would not have been the same without our guide, Doug. First of all Mike was super informative, we had seen them on the side of the road and stopped to ask him some questions. Answered all of our questions gave us his card and we immediately booked a 2 1/2 hour excursion with a guide with the pedal kayak for the next day. Met them at the same spot, Doug took us out and took us to places we would've never gone on ourown. 1000% recommended.

The Hobie pedal kayaks are very high quality and stable. Safety training 1st, then Doug kept us informed the whole way. Even saw 2 manatees up close! Thanks, Doug!

We had a wonderful experience and our guide Doug was brilliant! He was informative, safety conscious, caring, knowledgeable and even communicated with the wild dolphins! "Charlie" put on a special show for us right in front of our kayak, smaking his tail against the water and swimming upside down! The tandem peddle kayaks are state of the art and a wonderful option.
