This is our family’s second time out with Crystal. The last time my wife went with our grandson and they haven’t stopped talking about it since. This year it was my turn to go with our grandson, his mother and sister and Crystal did not disappoint! We had just started out when a needlefish jumped in the boat with my grandson and I- a surprise visitor! We saw pufferfish and other fish in the water and held a starfish- quite the treat for all. Crystal is a knowledgeable guide who puts her heart and soul into making the experience both educational and fun for all ages- we highly recommend her and Get Up and Go!

Funny story, my partner and I are from Philadelphia PA. At some point my partner told me that she wishes I was more “spontaneous”. So, this was my idea of something spontaneous, and boy oh boy was she in shock! At first she was super nervous and wasn’t entirely sure if she would enjoy it, but we had a BLAST! Our host was named Crystal and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend to anyone coming to Fort Pierce area to give this a go!
Our guide crystal an excellent guide and very knowledgeable.Had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to others
We decided to go on this tour last minute and were so happy with that decision. Crystal was our guide and was very professional and informative. We saw lots of upside jelly fish and navigated through the red, black, and white mangroves underneath the stars. Had an umami treat of saltwort along the way. Very cool experience!
The tour was great I love the balance between the educational parts and having moments for us to explore and see things we learned about. It was relaxing. I would definitely like to come back to do the kayaking at night with the led lights
Crystal was an awesome guide. She was very knowledgeable and knew where to find tons of sealife. Unfortunately, we didnt see anything glowing.
Had a great time on the Glow Tour with Crystal! We saw many dolphins, a shark, and starfish. Would love to check out some of the other tours!
Unfortunately there was not a lot of activity the night we went, but our guide Crystal made our tour amazing nonetheless! We could tell she was very passionate about what she does & wanted to make our experience the best she could. We were all joking and laughing the whole time & still saw some pretty cool crabs🦀🙂
The Glow Tour was amazing. Crystal was very interactive and we were able to see so much wildlife. I highly recommend taking this tour. It’s something we will do again when we’re in the area.
This was an amazing experience. Our guide was great and we enjoyed the experience. We went at night and I was a bit apprehensive at first but Kristine was obviously knowledgeable and put my mind at ease. I recommend this to anyone.
It was magical, a little scary at first. The guide was so helpful, patient, knowledgeable and a joy to be around.
Remember to take an extra layer of clothing and water shoes. Saw mullets star fish flounder and spider crabs highlighted by a shooting star and sparkling algae. Crystal our guide was very personable and knowledgeable.
Everything about the GLOW tour was beyond fabulous! I loved listening to the long list of possible/probable animal encounters. Just the thought of seeing marine life at night is fascinating. Our guide, Todd was phenomenal. His knowledge for and interest in all things marine was well appreciated. If you’ve not taken a GLOW tour, jump right in!
Great experience…highly recommended!!! Mark is a wealth of knowledge and a great tour guide. Saw Manatees, fish and crabs, kayaked thru Mangroves, and walked on a sand bar to stretch the legs. A great trip!!!
Initially was nervous being out on the water at night, but Todd made us feel comfortable the entire time! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new adventure.
It's was out first time doing the Glow in the dark Kayaking! Our tour guide Todd was amazing!! He's was playful with our group, he made things so fun during our tour! I'll recommend this to all my friends and family!
This was such a cool experience!! Todd was the perfect guide (informative and friendly). Initially we were a bit scared because it was so dark, but he made us very comfortable by keeping abreast of what to expect along the way, as well kept a close distance. Thank you Todd for the adventure we had a GREAT time and will definitely recommend this to travelers looking for something new and exciting.
I am not someone that likes to do new things. I was expecting this to be terrible but I was very pleasantly suprised! I had no experience and was perfectly comfortable the entire time.
We had a great time on the GLOW kayaks! We were visiting Fort Pierce for the weekend and decided to book a tour. Todd was the BEST! He made sure we had a wonderful experience and knew exactly where to find the best fish. We were able to see a ton of wildlife including a puffer fish, bioluminescent jellyfish, mangrove crabs (and much more)- would highly recommend going out with Todd.
We had a great time on the nighttime GLOW tour in Ft Pierce - our tour guide, Damian, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the area, the various marine - and wildlife - that we observed and he made everyone on the tour feel comfortable as we paddled into the dark mangrove tunnels!! It was adventurous and incredibly peaceful at the same time. When one member of the tour asked about the night sky, he pulled out an app and was able to identify a number of planets and constellations, which added to the trip. We have kayaked quite a bit in a number of different places and on a number of different tours and this was truly unique.
Todd was the best tour guide ever! We booked this tour to celebrate our nuptials. Todd added to this beautiful experience by being kind and informative. Additionally the beautiful and mystical experience was more than we could have imagined! We will specifically book with Todd again!
Very friendly staff, Adam and Damian were very accommodating and patience with us. It was a fun and unique experience. I look forward to trying another location. We saw a shark at night under a full moon and clear skies, very calm and unique experience.
Damien was a great tour guide! Got out and explored a sand bar. The kids caught some crabs and little fish with the nets that were provided. In our group, we had people over 65, and kids under 10. Everyone had a blast. Fun for all ages. Would definitely go again.
I highly recommend this tour! We were visiting the area and wanted a unique experience and this delivered! Damian led our tour and was great - friendly, knowledgable and interesting. We had two 14-year old girls that enjoyed it as much as the adults. Paddling out was a breeze as we were going with the current. Coming back was a bit more difficult, but not strenuous. Our favorite part was the 'field trip' to the sand bar where we got out and walked around in 3" deep water and saw blue crabs, hermit crabs, tiny fish and jellyfish. We chose the night tour in equal parts for the LEDs and expecting cooler weather than daytime. The night could not have been more perfect!
These tours came up on my Instagram feed, shared by the @onlyinthefort account - I shared with a couple of friends and we booked immediately. It was so neat and VERY welcomed couple-time when we haven't had any in more than 8 weeks because of coronavirus. Don was very knowledgable and totally chill. He chose a path that was the perfect level of difficulty for our group. Paddling against the current was a bit of a challenge but he was patient and encouraging. My husband and I both enjoyed this unique experience and appreciated the opportunity to get out of the house and actually do something/anything - the fact that Don was fantastic and it was an amazing experience were just icing on the cake!
My husband and I took a glow Clear Kayak Tour with Charlie and Damien.Setting up the trip was easy, with Charlie responding to my emails in a timely manner. The trip was awesome. We saw some unique sea creatures- 9 legged star fish, blow fish, crabs and bioluminescent comb jelly;. Damien was great at spotting them. At all times, Charlie and Damien made sure we felt safe and comfortable. Viewing the mangroves at night was so peaceful and beautiful. If you want to leave the noise and stress of the day behind, go on a Glow kayak tour.
Strongly recommend booking with this location. The night glow tour is extremely cool. The owner of this location goes above and beyond. I will be booking a day time tour with this location. They are that amazing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Clear beautiful star filled night. It was fun, paddling in the dark in the ocean with lighted kayak was awesome. Very night people will do it agsin.
Even before the trip started, I knew it was going to be an amazing tour. My boyfriend and I booked a morning tour on a Wednesday night for Friday, at 9 AM. The next morning, I received a call from Charlie and he said that due to the high winds, we were unable to attend this tour but we were more than welcome to go on the nighttime tour that night (Thursday) with no extra charge. When we arrived, around 6:30, we were greeted very kindly by our tour guides (Charlie and Todd). They talked with us for about a half hour before the tour started. When we started paddling out, I didn’t think much of it... Until I started seeing the marine life swimming around right beneath the kayak! It was surreal! We got out of the kayak a few times to interact with the marine life (in a safe way). We saw starfish, pufferfish, sea urchins, and especially the bioluminescent comb jellies! Charlie and Todd (the tour guides) were beyond helpful. In shallower waters, they would get out of their own boat to help pull ours and another couples across! Overall, this was one the highlights of our trip and we will definitely be back next year! I highly recommend this to any locals or anyone visiting! All of the pictures were from the tour!
Tom was absolutely awesome! The guided tour was so neat, being in the clear kayak we were able to see little fishes and other sea life. I think I was most excited to hold a comb jellyfish Tom caught for us on the tour!
Started off the tour on a little beachhead right by Little Jim’s Bait Shop. As we embarked on our adventure we were accompanied by the live music coming from the shore, as we slowly got deeper into the mangroves the music grew quieter and the sounds of nature took stage. The sound of cormorants and other creatures of the mangroves caused me to forgot that just 15min ago I was in in civilization. Fish swam underneath my Kayak, sometimes they would even hit it! The glow from the light bars allowed me to see even clearer than I had expected and saw on my way through the red mangroves, puffer fish and stingrays. The real treat came after we came through what I could only call a tunnel of vines and roots that opened up onto a sandbar. Charlie the owner and Thomas one of the tour guides showed me that we could stand on this sandbar. So we stretched our legs, little did I know, the true idea of the GLOW tour would come. Thomas and Charlie showed me how to pickup these comb jelly fish and how in perfect darkness, they would light up like a Christmas tree! There were so many of the, and guess what, they don’t sting! After that the paddle home was filled with great views and wonderful chit chat from the tour guides. I could not recommend this enough if you’re in the area!
