This was our second Get Up and Go Kayaking trip, but a first for this location. Our guide, Andres, was wonderful. He made sure to tell us all about the river, springs, and wildlife. He also made sure each guest had an opportunity to see things throughout the trip. The part of the trip where we went off the main river was also stunning and gave everyone an opportunity to cool off in the crystal clear waters.

We had a great time kayaking rainbow springs. Our guide Andres was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the animals and caves in the springs. The kayaking was easy and we loved getting to bring our dog. It was a beautiful day and the water was refreshing and clear. Will definitely do this again.

We never made it to Rainbow Springs. We were staying near Kissimmee and had a two drive ahead of us each way. Much to far for our party of seven ages 7 to 70. We talked to the staff and told them we didn’t realize it was so far and we weren’t coming.She understood and said would try to do something and call back. No call back. My bad for not checking location, Trip Advisor was rating attractions near Orlando and we took the nibble. We went to Gatorland instead, I’d give it a 5 star rating, once you’ve inside you don’t want to leave 😊

Andres was a wonderful guide on an unforgettable experience for our family! Our kids, 3 and 6, loved helping to "paddle" on each of their parents' boats and the trek up the tributary from the main river was incredible for all of us. Easy to coordinate and a perfect duration. Highly recommend for anyone!!

The kayaks are tandem…we missed that so were very surprised when we arrived. The kayaks seats are not rear friendly. Two hours was long enough. Andy, our guide took great care of us and was very informative. The scenery and nature was beautiful. We saw eagles, turtles, alligators, ducks, a variety of birds and many underwater caves and springs.

Everything was exactly as it was described. You put in at KP Hole and then paddle upstream for a little bit to check out a spring fed creek that feeds into the river, which was super cool. Then you continue on upstream, checking out some spots where the springs come up directly under the river. Then you get to a point where you turn around and mostly float back the beginning. Our arms were pretty tired after we got done! We saw ducks and herons on our trip. Our guide was Gabe and he did a great job of explaining everything and giving us some background on the spring fed ecosystem of Florida.

Had lots of fun! Would definitely go again!

10/10 recommend! It’s a very chill kayaking trip. The scenery is beautiful. The water is clear. We saw otters, birds, fish, and turtles. Andres knew quite a bit about the area and the animals. If you’re in the area, this is a must do!

Great visit with Andres out tour guide ! Loved seeing all the wildlife, natural springs and we even saw some scuba divers in the caves. Worth a trip!

We arrived 30 mins late due to some personal problems, I thought they might turn us away... The guide still came to meet us, perhaps a shorter tour but I enjoyed every second seeing the caves in crystal clear water through the bottom of the boat & the wildlife. He was super patient, knowledgeable - 5 stars from your British friends with the dogs. Thanks once again!

First time visiting Florida and I can say, this tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide was Andres and he was amazing, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

Andres guided us through the amazing Rainbow Springs. He made sure we got to see amazing landscapes, lots of animals, even otters and of couse the springs. It was another amazing tour with „Get up and go kayaking“ - can highly recommend them!

Our tour guide Sara was absolutely amazing and patient, I traveled with my 18yr old and 10year old and they both absolutely loved it. She was so nice, kind, patient, and engaging. We saw some absolutely beautiful things rainbow river is so gorgeous. She provided us with some amazing videos and pictures that was so beyond worth it all!!!! Ill be recommending this to everyone i know what a great way to experience Rainbow river. The see through kayak was very awesome as well.

We had a wonderful time kayaking. The kayaks with clear bottom worked great and we saw quite a lot of turtles and even a couple alligators. The best part was getting out of the kayak and wading through the mangrove! Definitely recommend the experience if you like kayaking.

We had the best time kayaking as a family. This was our first time paddling and it was super easy to learn. I can't believe how beautiful the springs are. It made this bucket list trip all worth the money. I will hold this memory deep in my heart as one of the best trips with my family. The tour guide (Andreas) was amazing told us all about the history of the springs. He showed us where the springs start. He also took great pictures of the 4 of us. I would highly recommend this adventure, it was a great bonding experience. A 10 out of a 10.

This was our 4th time going on a kayak tour at different Florida locations with “Get up and go kayaking”, and although all tours were incredible, we had the most fun at Rainbow Springs with our guide Angel! He was super knowledgeable and very detail oriented, showing us nature at its best! 👏 thanks again!

We were not paying attention to the proper directions and went to the Rainbow Springs entrance instead of the KP Hole location and ended up being 5 to 7 minutes late, rather than 15 minutes early. We called this company (Get Up and Go) and told them we were coming, but not to hold up the other kayakers. Our guide, Andre, insisted that he would entertain the other guests with some nearby features and stories (which he did very well as the others in the group told us later) and then get us set to join the others. The river trip was great with Andre providing just the right amount of information about the area but was always prepared to give us more when asked. He was a perfect guide who managed to find us a family of river otters that hung around us for some time and he also took us on an amazing side trip into a long, narrow inlet that seemed to be a crystal clear, turquoise lazy river extending into Jurassic Park! One helpful hint(besides requesting Andre as a gude)... try to aim for a sunny day. The water is at its most vibrant blue when sunny but it was still a beautiful emerald green when the clouds took over!

Had an absolute wonderful time. Our guide, Sarah, was fantastic. Such a fun experience and would 100% recommend.

AVOID IF STAYING IN ORLANDO - 4+ Hours Wasted for Nothing Despite glowing reviews, this was a complete disaster for our family vacation. We drove 2+ hours each way from Orlando (that’s over 4 hours round trip!) based on high ratings, only to have our entire day ruined. The Problems: • Massive logistical failure: Despite arriving on time AND messaging ahead, we waited 25 minutes just to pay and enter due to poor queue management at the park • Tour left without us - after driving 4+ hours total, we never even got to experience what we paid for • Clearly targeting Orlando tourists without being upfront about the massive distance and time commitment required The Real Kicker: After researching alternatives, we found IDENTICAL experiences within 30 minutes of Orlando hotels. We could have saved an entire vacation day and hundreds of dollars in gas and time. Bottom Line for Orlando Visitors: While they clearly market to Orlando tourists, they don’t warn you upfront about the 2+ hour each way commitment. This might be a decent experience if you live nearby, but for tourists staying in Orlando, it’s an expensive gamble with your precious vacation time. There are multiple similar attractions practically on your doorstep - choose those instead. Don’t make our mistake. Your Orlando vacation days are too valuable to gamble on a 4+ hour round trip that might leave you with nothing to show for it but frustration and wasted money.

We had a pleasure to go on the kayak trip in June 2025 in the Rainbow Springs. It was a delightful experience, even-though the weather was rainy, organizer did everything to not reschedule our trip as we really wanted to go. It is a magical place. Highly recommend. We were with two kids, one 7 years old and one 2 year old and it was a good experience for both.

We booked a weekend getaway away from the crowds of our east coast beach to see a different part of Florida. Andres, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging as he made our kayak tour a fun experience for our family. He did a great job and I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a cool change of pace in Florida.

Don’t be late at all. They will leave without you. That was our fault admittedly but unfortunately they will give zero refunds and not try to offer a later trip. I’m sure it was pretty but we will never know.

I have done guided glass bottom before and found this one much better! Great communication during bad weather, our guide Sarah was knowledgeable and very sweet and took pictures of all of us. I could give 6 stars!

We are local to the area but last minute wanted to do a fun day trip on a long holiday weekend. Looked up options and was so excited when I saw get up and go had availability. We have never been to rainbow springs so I was so excited to see and learn about a new area. We ran into a snag where the parking was full and the launch area (not get up and go) was basically telling us we were SOL, get up and go accommodated us along with the other couple in our group and had us park near by and came and shuttled us. When we got back to the launch area parking had opened so they dropped half the group and took people back to get their cars. A little confusing but it all work out. Our tour guy was understanding and made up for the lost time along the trip. Andres was so knowledgeable of the area and even gave us recommendations of other springs to go visit for certain things that we liked about rainbow springs. He showed us all the prime picture spots and just about every cave and spring we went near. Places we would have never found if he didn’t tell us about them. He was very patient with the other individuals that didn’t seem to know how to kayak and paid equal enough attention to each group. We have used get up and go before at another location but would definitely use them again and possibly even come back to this location to visit them!

Angel, our guide was marvelous. So personable. He cared about who we were. He made it so unique. We felt like the most important people in the world. His knack for spotting otters, and other wildlife is top-notch. He made us laugh when he climbed up a coconut tree and jumped right into the river. We did other tours on this trip and no one cared about where we were from or what our name was or what we liked. We literally got on the boat and they just began their mundane spiel, but this company was different. It was all about us and so it will be all about you
