From reservation to end of the tours (we took two tours with Retro Go) it was a great experience. Sandy was our tour for the ghosts and graveyard tour. She was awesome! Highly recommend the tour.
It was ridiculous! A video tour with one stop at a cemetery. The video tour was very cheesy. $160 dollars and 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back. Do not book.
Overall was an interesting experience. We basically watched a movie talking about the different kinds of ghosts while riding in a van that stopped at the places it talked about. It was a sketchy area to start at but in the end saw some beautiful older Victorian type homes. Our guide Sandy was so sweet and informative. Not the best ghost tour we've done but also not the worst.
Fun video tour with added comments from the guide who stopped along the van ride with funny anecdotes. Fun and informative for all ages! We even sang and danced on the ride!
The description didn’t mention that it was a video tour. It was a really cool and fun with the descriptions and the questions. It was lots of fun
terry was an awesome tour guide that made it fun!
Very interesting and unique experience. Recommend this tour. First time I've ever been in a graveyard after dark. Had a great time.
Overall it was very informative and the tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining The group we www with were fun The only thing that keeps it at four stars is the only place that we got to physically visit was the cemetery Other then that I had a great birthday present
Very interesting and informative. Tour guides are great. Learned a lot of history and had a great time
I enjoyed the tour. Terry was very knowledgeable about the area. I am a history buff and love to see old homes. It did get dark and I was not able to see some if the homes towards the end. Of course this is a ghost tour so that is expected. I still had a good time.
Terry was amazing! Overall experience was great because of the guide and history ! The only thing I would change is that sitting in the very back of the van …can’t really hear or see what is going on. Very cramped. Paid good money for a seat and very squished.
Great little trolley tour. Loved the video and the extra tidbits of info. Kids enjoyed it. Want to try their food tour as well
Cool experience, not scary but seen alot of the city and beautiful houses, graveyard was ok seen some gravestones
So the guide, Terry, was great. You can tell he loves his job and loves history. The tour itself was not at all what we expected. You're driven around in a hot old bus for 2 hours watching the tour on video, and the guide pulls up in front of the house as they tell you what happened there. The video is extremely cheesy and more geared towards children, I would say. You don't get to get out and explore anything except the cemetery for about 5 minutes. If you like history, this would be for you. If you want a ghost tour, keep looking.
We had an amazing time with our tour guide Terry. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We laughed so much. I even caught an orb in the graveyard on my camera.
My husband is hearing impaired. He could NOT hear the TV narrating the tour at all. I could barely hear it. The movie clips were distracting, disturbing and had nothing to do with the tour. The small white van was WAY too hot. I almost asked to get off due to the heat. The van was not pre air conditioned before adding 20 passengers on a 90 degree day. A small child was allowed on the tour who was well behaved. However the description of the tour states no children allowed. It was distracting. The hosts (2) were very good! Helpful, easy to hear and told interesting stories. They made the tour. We were disappointed overall and would not recommend.
Really enjoyed this tour. Lots of great historical information and ghost stories. Tour guides were very engaging.
This tour was SO much fun! Our guide, Terry, was funny and entertaining. He also gave us tips about different restaurants to try. Highly recommended!
It was very interesting! Terry Sanders was our driver and he was hilarious, knowledgeable, and so friendly. I have knee problems and he helped me get on and off the bus. Would definitely go again even if just to see Terry again :)
This was a great tour!! Learned a lot about Pensacola!! Recommend this tour. Our daughter loved the tour!
Terry was very entertaining and the stories were interesting We loved the quizzes and the history of Pensacola
Unfortunately, our tour was canceled due to too few participants. However, I received a phone call informing me of this in a timely manner. The representative was very helpful, offering alternatives should we have been interested. We would definitely consider a tour with this group in the future.
Loved it! Leo was knowledgeable and engaging. Overall, a Great experience. I Highly recommend participating in this activity while in Pensacola.
They cancelled on us two hours prior. This was a few days to ago and I still do not have my refund. I do not recommend booking with this company.
We had a small tour and our tour guide Leroy was amazing he made the tour so much fun. Learned alot about the haunting in Pensacola along with local history. Would do it again for sure.
Had a great time with my family in this event. The totality of it was well organized and the tour guy was fantastic!!
This was a really really cool tour experience. Our guide, Leroy, was THAT GUY. He went above and beyond to make the whole group have a great time and that everyone was comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Pensacola ! He even gave us some pretty cool recommendations for food and drinks after.
Informative and nice ride around the haunted spots of Pensacola at night and in a van. It was a dak clear night, about 55F and a chill filled the air.
My family had fun. The only odd portion was the guide sharing a story about a kids party. Would recommend not disclosing where children currently live even if it is a funny story about turning lights in and off.
We showed up at the meeting place for the tour. No one was there. We never got the tour. I am requesting a refund. Please refund my credit card on file.
Very cool authentic bus tour, had a chance to walk in a graveyard and looked at lots of very intriguing buildings and architecture. Very nice couple run the business.
I’m out visiting my adult son and we thought this would be a fun way to spend the evening. Terry was a great tour guide and it was fun to learn about a different side of Pensacola history.
The bus was full and we had an entertaining evening. Terry S was a knowledgeable guide and kept us laughing with his corny “Grandpop” jokes. Would recommend for anyone.
All of the history that our driver, Leeroy, was able to tell us about. He gave us a history lesson and kept us all interested. I will definitely recommend this experience to my family and friends.
We had a great experience with Terry! We learned so much about Pensacola and its spooky history! Highly recommend for all ages! We will definitely be booking another tour through them!
Terry was an awesome guide. He was able to engage with all of us ages from teens to mature adults. I would highly recommend.
We had a large group of ladies and some spouses (28) and Go Retro worked with us wonderfully to select the tour and arranged a pickup location and after tour dinner at McGuires. Due to our size, we had both buses to ourselves and learned about Pensacola's spooky history. The bus I was on had Terry as our tour guide, he was fantastic, funny and informative.
Super cool tour, we had 2 options of buses (a cool old one and a newer van) show up early if getting on the old bus is a must for you! It was wooden on the inside with LED candles, the bus drives and you watch a tv screen on each seat describing stories as you drive past the buildings. The only stop we got out at was a graveyard, I wish there were more interactive stops. Bus did not have AC but did have a few small fans, it wasn’t hot because it was late evening but would be during the day.
It was good just wish we could have went into one of the empty house's would have made it little more exciting.
This was a really fun tour! Terry was a great guide - super knowledgeable, friendly, and a safe driver. I will be coming back to do other tours.
We were really excited to be taking this tour. We read the other reviews, and it seemed like it would be a good time. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The old bus was cool. But for the entire trip, we just watched a bad-quality video of the places we visited which wasn't very engaging. It would have been so much better if we had had an"actor" to talk about the places. Also this time of the year, it was dark by the time we drove by many places. I wouldn't recommend this particular tour.
Informative and entertaining. The bus is a cool novelty and the host was great! Lots of gorgeous old houses and graves.
This was so much fun! It was the fastest two hours ever! We laughed, learned and would definitely it again!
The bus driver and tour guide were great. The bus was running poorly and almost suffocated from bus fumes.. Almost became part of the tour on the bus.
Terry was so kind and well informed of the history of each site. He was great with gauging the group and keeping everyone entertained. The cost of the tour is really great when you consider how well planned it is and the duration (approx 2 hrs). The video was well timed with each stop which made you feel like you weren’t missing anything. The tour had a lot more sites than expected, which is wonderful for those really looking for a tour! The graveyard stop is also perfectly timed with dusk and is so rich in history on its own! Where we entered we saw a headstone with “Northup.” As I’d just watched “12 Years a Slave” that morning and recently returned from a trip to NOLA where we stopped at the Solomon Northup placard I was intrigued and looked it up. Not only was this Northup unrelated to Mr. Solomon Northup but he had a unique story on his own having been the Mayor of Pensacola. His house is actually a Bed and Breakfast we passed on the tour which has its own ghost happenings as well. Pensacola is rich in history and no shortage of spiritual experiences and the tour did a fantastic job of hitting some really high points but also some off the beaten path! The bus was also very comfortable and really helps to transport the guests to another time in history. Very well done and we can’t wait to go back for the other tours as well as the investigation of the house!
A learning experience for the family. A lot of history. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere with out tour guide (Terry).
I was visiting Florida from Texas, my sister drove an hour after paying $159 for my whole family and my sister and I driving separately fighting traffic. We were two minutes late just two they drove off and left us kept our money would not call the driver to let us know that we were just 120 seconds late, the guy that came out and told us we would get no refunds we would get nothing was very disturbing and upsetting so we just lost $159 would not even call the driver so we could meet him somewhere. I will never do this again. They just stole my money.
Informative hosts/guide learned some new things about Pensacola . Enjoyable ride through historic Pensacola.
Took a large family including kids (ages 10-14) and we all had some laughs and learned from interesting stories about ghosts and real life residents of Pensacola. Terry Sanders was our driver and provided jokes and additional entertainment during the tour. The tour goes to multiple areas so it also provides a nice overview of the city..
