Frisky Mermaid Pontoon Boat Rentals In Pensacola Beach

This is our second time using Frisky Mermaid for a pontoon rental. We absolutely love it. We saw tons of dolphins, were given great instructions (the guide was completely unpaused by my toddler’s melt down at the dock), and had a great day at the secluded beach. I can’t recommend them enough. We’ll certainly be back next year.

Unclear how many years straight we have rented with The Frisky but this year was every bit as spectacular as every other year. Perhaps even more so in that they have completely re-furbished all the boats with new upholstery, colors, flooring, etc. MJ was wonderful as always and always a pleasure to see her smiling, joyful face. Steve and Dee respond promptly and keep me up to speed in a very timely manner. If only the weather would have been a bit better but hey, adjust, adapt and overcome, right. Love this group, love this company. In fact, going back in 10 days with the family and guess who we are renting through? Frisky! Ever a doubt....nope!! Try'em you'll love'em. Larry S.

Our group absolutely loved every minute of our charter!!! Carson (N.G.) was an excellent captain. We loved the dolphin action, floating, exploring and the sightseeing. Will definitely be doing this again when we’re back in town!

This experience was amazing!! We enjoyed our boat ride. We also docked off, ate, and enjoyed time in the water!! Our kids had a blast!!

Just got back from our 5th or 6th run with Frisky Pontoons Rentals for our "boys trip" (66 year young guys who have been brothers/friends for 55+ years) and once again, Steve, Dee and MJ did not disappoint. Incredible time as we always have had and those folks and the care of the boat are the very best. So much so that I am going to to do it again in 27 days with my family. Would not even consider using anyone else. Make it happ'n capt'n!!!! And please do not forget to bring along a little something extra for the sweet young girl who cleans up the boat once it is back in port. She did a bang up job for us/you when we/you walked onboard!! Recently rented a 22 foot pontoon boat for a half day excursion on the bay. The boat was clean and comfortable. Steve met us and reviewed all safety gear and provided a brief overview of local sites and areas to explore by boat. What a pleasant way to enjoy the water and view Ft Pickens. Even had a flyover by the Blue Angels.

We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend. Our tour guide Alli was awesome!!! I can’t say enough good things about this experience.

We rented a boat for six hours through Frisky Mermaid and Dolphin Tours and Pontoon Boat Rentals and had an amazing time. Captain Steve was very knowledgeable with the guidelines he told my husband and is a super nice guy!

Frisky Mermaid was very accommodating as they allowed a change in booking for better weather. Dee and Steve were very responsive, and their equipment is top notch and extremely clean. Plenty of water to cruise in and we ended up at the old Fort McRee area. We were able to beach the boat and enjoy the lee side with reduced wind and beautiful beach areas. On the way back we got to see plenty of dolphins and plenty of pelicans following them picking up the scraps. We had a marvelous time and will be back.

Had amazing time on the dolphin tour. Dee was very informative and sweet and Steve was gracious enough to give us extra time with the dolphins. We had the last tour for the day and got to see a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend!

Fantastic pontoon rental. MJ and Ali knew about the boat, the area, and the best places to go. The boat was wonderfully maintained and spic and span. Highly recommended. I would rent from them anytime!!! We also took our dog with us (with a life jacket for him) and he had the best time. BEST DAY EVER!!!

We rented a pontoon and it was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure that you had everything that you needed. We highly recommend.

Excellent service and equipment, 6 teenagers with is had a great time. Ally was very knowledgeable and explained everything well and answered all our questions.

Dee was wonderful through the whole process. We didn’t think we were going to be able to go on our vacation and she worked with us. Luckily we were able to go and she booked us on the same trip. She told us exactly where to go to watch the Blue Angels. It was an awesome day and the highlight of our trip!

Reserved 24 foot pontoon for 8 people. Steve met us and checked us in. Boat was very clean and comfortable. We had a great ride. Everything worked great. Highly recommend Frisky Mermaid for your rental.

We rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon on the water and Frisky Dolphin did not disappoint. The pontoon boat was in excellent condition and everything we needed was provided. The tutorial before we left the dock was thorough and all our questions were answered. We would definitely rent from Frisky Dolphin again and highly recommend them.

We rented the pontoon boat for 8 hrs and everything was GREAT! The boat was beautiful and had a great sound system. Everything From booking all the way to docking was easy!! the staff was sooo helpful and very patient with us newbies. We recommend renting with them. They also gave us a map and the boat has a great GPS system so we were able to get to the exact swimming spot we wanted.

Did a bay dolphin tour (private). I have to say the review likely was at least somewhat influenced by a very cooperative pod of dolphins that just hung out by the boat. However, Captain Steve did do a great job of keeping the boat where it needed to be and of being very pleasant. He also was very accommodating on running us around the bay and providing information on what we were seeing.

This was our second year in a row renting a pontoon boat from Ho2 and will continue to rent from them every year! They are very easy to book with and accommodating. The pontoon boats are in great condition and reliable. The owners are honest and a pleasure to do business with. Thank you Ho2 for another memorable day for our family and friends!

Captain John and the other staff were very friendly and helpful. Captain John shared a lot of information about the areas history and dolphins. We saw several groups of dolphins on our tour. We had an amazing time and would definitely do this tour again.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get the last two tickets for the Dolphin/ Blue Angels excursion. We saw a fair number of dolphins and Captain Steve brought us over to the beach island to enjoy the show of the Blue Angels. The weather was great, the smaller group on the boat was appreciated, the. Blue Angels were awesome, and the Captain was a good host. I highly recommend the trip.

Absolutely fantastic morning out on the water with Captain Steve! He is a lovely guy, great with kids, just an all around great time. We saw dolphins, and he’s very knowledgeable about the area. He took us over to see the SpaceX boat that retrieves the capsule. My son was so excited! I highly recommend this as an affordable option for a family. High quality, high value.

This was such an amazing time with my little family!! Our Cap't, Steve, was knowledgeable, fun, and super kind to us. Safety was #1 out on the water where we saw beautiful dolphins that Cap't Steve kept watch for. We had complimentary beer, wine, soda and water!! It was the greatest trip with the best service! My two teens and I went on a sunset dolphin tour. Teens are hard to impress and they loved it. There were only 5 of us on the boat. It was personal and beautiful Capt Steve?? Im terrible with names was informative and funny and worked hard to find us as many dolphins as possible. He was careful to respect the animals and stay a respectful distance. Would HIGHLY recommend. We also ate at the Frisky Dolphin and it was delicious!

We rented a Pontoon from Ho2 last week and Dee and Steve were simply delightful to work with. They run an absolutely first-rate, professional, operation and were very accommodating, communicative, and attentive to our needs at every step of the process. When we realized the weather for the day of our reservation was not going to be suitable for small crafts, and needed to change our plans just days prior, Dee was perfectly happy to work with us on rescheduling for another day that worked for us. When we picked up the boat, Steve was a total pro walking us through everything we needed to know to have a smooth, safe, and fun day on the water. The boat itself was beautiful and in excellent condition. In the end, we had such a wonderful experience we just kept saying "thank goodness we rented from these guys!". Thank you Dee and Steve for everything! We enthusiastically recommend Ho2 and will definitely be back to rent from you again!

We went on a 3-hour private morning dolphin cruise with Captain Steve in March 2021. Final cost was $450 with tax. It was a great experience for our 2 school-aged kids and the grandparents, too! We saw a little bit of the Blue Angels’ practice flying and a lot of dolphins. A pod of 6+ dolphins came within 1 foot of our boat! It was delightful. We also went to a small island off the coast, where we swam and collected shells. Captain Steve was professional and polite—he did his best to customize the cruise to our needs and was very thoughtful. Only missing thing was a pre-departure safety briefing. It would have been nice to know where the life jackets and fire extinguisher were kept. Otherwise, everything was great!

Captain Steve was an excellent guide. I chose this company because they comply with safety guidelines so the animals are not hurt or improperly interfered with, and I felt great about my experience in this respect. Great hospitality and great service!

Great day with lots of dolphins! Captain Steve was great! Would highly recommend. With Covid it was great having a tour with just our group of 6. Best part, they are pet friendly and our dogs joined us!

This was the beat thing we did on our trip. We saw so many dolphins and more. It was a 22 mile trip all together he said. Captain Steve was awesome and so were the free drinks, wine and beers. He even gave our kids dolphin necklaces at the end and took some family photos of us.

Captain Steve is awesome! He is very experienced and He Guided us to the locations where we can see dolphins. He also provides great recommendations on local restaurants and things to do. We took many great pictures and videos.

Six college buddies decided to take a boat ride. What better way than a new 24" pontoon boat. This Bentley boat was one year old, very clean and everything was in working order. Easy to navigate and with a one foot draft beaching the boat was no problem. Steve met us at the dock with a wave and smile. He was friendly and thorough in his orientation of the boat. We all felt very comfortable and safe on this boat. The boat handled the one foot chop with no problems. We had a great time. Weather was perfect. I highly recommend Ho2.

This was great! I had family in town shortly after hurricane Sally. Fort Pickens was shut down. I couldn't take them to NAS to see the museum, lighthouse, or Fort Barrancas because it was still closed to the public. So I thought they weren't going to have a good visit. Then the idea of the dolphin cruise came to mind. Everybody else was out of action for the year, but Ho2 was up and running. The reservation process was super easy and the cruise itself was just fantastic. I booked a sunset cruise for us. I think my grandson will remember it for the rest of his life. We had a fair number of dolphin sightings, some pretty close, but the highlight for me was seeing literally dozens of sharks off of Perdido Key. Can't say enough about Captain Steve. He is friendly and knowledgeable, and he showed us a great time. I would definitely recommend this!

This was our second trip with Captain Steve and we saw Dolphins right outside of the marina near the Bob Sikes bridge. There were 5 or 6 that were very active. The water wasn’t very clear yet since Hurricane Sally had just impacted the island. After we left the marina area we got to watch almost an hour long Blue Angels practice. I would highly recommend Ho2 Pensacola!

We absolutely LOVED our Dolphin tour with Captain Steve! Along with seeing a ton of dolphins we had the surprise of a lifetime getting to watch the Blue Angels practice over the Gulf Of Mexico! It was Amazing! You all made our son’s 9th birthday one he won’t ever forget! Highly highly recommend!

HAD THE BEST TIME!!! Me and 12 other family members were able to comfortably fit on the 12 person pontoon boat. We did the full day trip and made several stops, including the Boardwalk, and along the seashore for a picnic. Spotted dolphins multiple times and they even swam along our boat for several minutes. Steve was very knowledgeable with the area and recommended some great spots along with a map. Steve gave us full instructions about the boat and we were quickly smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend for large parties looking for a full day of fun on the water!!

We took the 8AM Dolphin tour on Saturday morning. The weather was perfect. We had such a great time. Captain Steve was so wonderful with great information about the area. We brought my moms Weenie dog. He had such a great time on the ride. Ms.Dee was so sweet and helpful when booking the trip. I definitely recommend and would definitely go again. Highly recommended!! We had an slacking time with Captain Steve. We saw the dolphins and a shark. From the reservation until the cruise, everyone was helpful and nice. We were celebrating our daughter 5th birthday and they made her day. Thank you You can’t miss this!

We went on the private sunset dolphin cruise. We all really enjoyed the trip. We saw some dolphins from a distance. The cruise around the bay was nice and Captain Steve pointed out things of interest along the way. The sunset on the way back was beautiful. It was a nice enjoyable outing.

We rented the Tritoon Pontoon and it was awesome! We had a great day on Pensacola waters in this luxury! We appreciate how easy it was to rent the boat and return the boat. Dee and Steve were helpful throughout the entire process and answered even our smallest questions about the boat features, places to go, and things to see in the area. We have rented at other places in the area, and by far, the boats they have are the nicest. We will rent again without question from them when we rent a pontoon next time.
