Fort Lauderdale: Combo Deal Snorkel Reefs, Kayak/sup Mangroves

This was truly an exceptional experience. I was a solo traveler and booked this tour for a Monday morning. I was the only person that signed up. Most tour providers would have cancelled, but instead they upheld my reservation and tailored the experience to me. The couple that owns/runs this tour ate really exceptional, lovely people who made it obvious that they wanted me to have a great experience. Even though it was only me on the tour, I could tell they still put in 100% effort. Paddling through the mangroves was an amazing experience. We saw iguanas, a sting ray, and many fish who call this area home. They provided fresh fruit and water, and a safe space to store my stuff. Overall, this was a great experience that I would absolutely recommend.

My family of adult kids learned how to snorkel, then were given options to either swim out to the reef or snorkel in the mangroves, about half went each way. Then we kayaked and paddle boarded through the mangroves, I don’t think any other company for the cost will provide this many options. We loved it.

From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel welcome and treated us like family. They spent hours with us, making sure we were comfortable, prepared, and having an amazing time. One thing that really stood out was all the thoughtful extras. They provided fresh fruit, brownies, snacks, sodas, and water, which made the experience feel even more special. Before heading out, they took the time to train us and make sure everyone felt confident. Then we went out into the ocean and got to see beautiful schools of fish around the reef—an unforgettable experience for both the adults and the kids. The host went above and beyond by recording videos and taking photos of us in the water, allowing us to enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing it ourselves. Those memories are priceless. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the host and his wife. They were incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. They even gave us recommendations for places to visit afterward, which was such a thoughtful touch. This wasn’t just a snorkeling and kayaking trip—it was one of the highlights of our family vacation and a memory we’ll cherish for years to come. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate. The weather didn’t cooperate for snorkeling, but our guides offered us to do kayaking instead. It was a great trip and the guides made it fun!

This was a lot of fun we went snorkeling. They show you how to use the equipment and make sure your comfortable before going out deep. We saw tons of fish, reef sharks, crabs and more. Those two hours flew by. They have snacks and drinks for you. The paddle boarding was awesome it’s very pretty and we saw 3 sea turtles! It was an experience I’m very happy!

Really fun and easygoing. Thiago was a great instructor and Camila provided awesome support. They made the whole experience very smooth and Thiago gave lots of useful practical tips for the snorkeling. And during the kayak in the mangroves we learned a lot about the flora and fauna. Would definitely recommend when you’re around!!

My husband and I did the combination snorkeling and kayaking tour. We are in our 60s. Was a little concerned that it might be a little too much for us. No worries at all! Thiago, our guide, was patient and we moved at a very comfortable pace. My husband is not the most comfortable in the water. He did SO well and loved it!!!! Kayaking was great also! Beautiful along the mangroves. Our day was so great! Thank you to Thiago and Camilla! You are truly amazing!!!!!!!

This was an awesome trip! Camila and Thiago were great at communicating once we booked the trip! Expedia actually recommended to add this to our package and we did and it was totally worth it! They were super friendly, like a friend was taking us on a trip, not like a business transaction and gave us an instructions on how to snorkel and kayak for anyone who didn’t know and it was very safe! We saw lots of fish, a reef shark, sea turtles and the mangroves were so peaceful! Definitely recommend booking with these people!

This was a great experience! Our hosts Thiago and Camilla were extremely pleasant and very wonderful! We were fortunate enough to have very good visibility while snorkeling and we saw so many different species of sea creatures! Our kayak experience was very nice as well! On the way back Mother Nature was not on my side and we had to paddle into the wind. Thiago had seen I was slowing down and without saying anything he generously gave me a tow to make it a little easier to paddle back to our starting location! Talk about hospitality!! 10/10 experience would highly recommend!!!

This was a really fun kayaking tour. The guide was really nice and easygoing, which made the whole experience feel relaxed from the start. He was helpful, made sure I was comfortable, safe and shared interesting info along the way. He showed me interesting wildlife along the way. I definitely recommend the tour if you want a well-run tour. It never felt rushed, and he was great about helping me out when I needed help. Super enjoyable experience and I’d totally do it again.

The tour is described as kayaking and snorkeling. People considering this tour should be aware that the kayaks are inflatable banana-shaped kayaks that you use to paddle for less than three minutes out to a man-made reef that one could easily swim to or wade to from the shore. We were looking for something more than this. If we had been provided real kayaks, we would’ve enjoyed paddling around a bit more, but the inflatable kayaks were light, not sturdy, and didn’t seem suitable for ocean kayaking. The man-made reefs were nothing special and the fish were very hard to spot. The guide was very nice, but didn’t offer any information on the fish we might see or how we could improve our chances of seeing fish. The remainder of the tour was sitting on the beach under the tent the guide set up. This is expensive for what we got and I don’t recommend this tour.

The hosts of the experience were extremely friendly, but the experience itself was underwhelming. My family enjoys kayaking and we signed up for this trip because it was advertised as kayaking and snorkeling. But the kayaking portion takes no more than five minutes as you make your way a couple hundred feet offshore to where you anchor for snorkeling. It was so close to the shore, some folks in our group swam back to shore at the end. As for the snorkeling, we would’ve benefitted from information about the manmade reefs and the type / breed of fish we may expect to see, what their habits are, etc. When we saw fish and asked about it, the host did not have any information. We expected more from this experience and it should not be called “kayaking” when that portion takes five minutes in an inflatable kayak. The hosts were friendly and I would love to see their business succeed, but it needs to be more than what it is.

Thiago and Camila were wonderful hosts. We had terrible weather, windy and rainy, but our hosts made the most of our trip. They offered to have us return the next day when the weather was supposed to clear but we were leaving. Thiago and Camila provided us with snacks and music which is probably so much fun on a nice sunny day. When we return to Ft. Lauderdale, which we will, we will definitely book this trip again. At the very least, we learned that we are amazing swimmers and kayakers LOL!

There’s honestly nothing I could say that would fully explain how amazing my partner and I’s experience was with these two. They knew the waters like the back of their hand and were super patient with me, especially since I’m a beginner swimmer. I got to see so many different fish, explore caves, and we had so many good laughs together. They even taught us how to paddle board, which was a huge plus. They had snacks and drinks ready, and they PERSONALLY bought my partner and me cheesecakes for our anniversary. Plus, they took tons of photos and videos for us. And keep in mind, we called them last minute because our original snorkeling tour got canceled that same morning. They didn’t hesitate at all and still made the whole thing feel so special. If you’re looking for a snorkeling tour, whether you’re a beginner or experienced, GO WITH THEM. You start of as strangers but will end as Salty Friends 🤿🐠 From someone who has snorkeled before and spent $200 on a tour that wasn’t even half as fun as this one.

We went on a snorkeling tour with Camila and Thiago at Hollywood Beach, and it was an incredible experience. They could’ve have been more accommodating. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had one on one attention with Thiago snorkeling, giving us tips and setting us right where the man made rifts are located. Fish were everywhere. He took pictures of us with his GoPro. We enjoyed fresh watermelon and wonderful conversation with Camila after snorkeling. They are an amazing team. This must be something on your to do list when visiting this area. Do NOT pass up on this opportunity.

The snorkeling tour was spectacular. The guide was very professional and attentive at all times. We saw colorful fish, a beautiful turtle and the water was crystal clear. They also gave us a super delicious snack after snorkeling. An incredible experience and totally recommended.

Very sweet couple that have a set up on the beach. They went over everything we needed to know about the equipment. They served us drinks and snacks. Fun little kayak ride to the reefs only a couple hundred feet off shore. Very pretty location.

We went on a snorkeling tour with Camila and Thiago at Hollywood Beach, and it was an incredible experience. They were very accommodating, even adjusting our tour dates when the weather wasn’t cooperating. They are a wonderful duo; passionate about the ocean, knowledgeable, and excellent at making guests feel safe. Their equipment is meticulously sterilized by hand after each dive, and they took the time to explain everything clearly before we entered the water. We also loved the extra touch of being able to stay on the beach afterward and use their stand-up paddle boards to explore a bit more. Overall, a fantastic experience. I would recommend them above any other tour.

I signed up for this activity last minute, and was the only person who signed up for my time slot. Regardless, Camila and Thiago met me in the morning (instructions on meeting place were very clear and given to me ahead of time) all set up and ready to give me a great one-on-one experience. The underwater park itself is very cool. There are some fun statues, and the fish love to inhabit them. It’s quite the sight. If you can, definitely try to dive a little too! The tour offers GoPro pictures and footage for 15 bucks, and I loved how my underwater pics turned out. Thiago and Camila are a beautiful couple, very friendly, kind, and supportive. I was a little unstable on the paddle board and with the snorkel, but they were patient and knowledgeable, giving me tips and encouraging me to keep trying. I felt very comfortable the whole time, even being there by myself, and by the end I was using the SUP in the ocean no problem! At the end of the tour, we sat, chatted, ate fresh watermelon and muffins and I got to enjoy their tent on the beach as they packed up. It was a beautiful morning and I got to be both active and relax while enjoying the ocean come to life! Next time I am in town, I will definitely be doing the other excursion they offering, which is a kayak through the mangroves. BRING YOUR FRIENDS—so much fun! Thank you so much Thiago and Camila!!

My wife and I had a wonderful time snorkeling at Hollywood Beach. This was my first time snorkeling. Wonderful Camila and Thiago were so polite and accommodating. We would love to do this again!

Let me start by thanking Thiago and Camila for a WONDERFUL experience, they made the whole adventure worth while. It was most of the groups first time, so they gave us an in-depth run down on the equipment and made us feel very comfortable with it before you even head out into the water (Thiago will go over every aspect of all the equipment). The equipment was sanitized and very clean, they had enough kayaks and paddle board for our entire group of 7. Thiago is very knowledgeable and made our group feel very safe, we appreciate the patience he took with us. His wife had a whole tent and chairs with snacks and drinks and music, it was a really good vibe. If you are thinking about doing this tour with them I give it a 10/10 , seriously , great people who take care of their customers and go above and beyond. It was my first time using Viator so we were a little nervous, but couldn’t be happier that we got Thiago and his wife Camila. If you are reading this and debating whether or not to do it, the answer is YES, just do it !

My wife and I initially booked the snorkeling tour and were exited to go. Unfortunately the weather and ocean don't care about our want, but the tour guides did. They offered us a refund/reschedule, or we could do a kayak tour of the mangroves. We chose the latter and enjoyed a very nice time on the kayaks. It was a very nice substitute. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting them again.

Booked this trip for a bachelorette party of 11 and we had a great time. The weather was not perfect, but we truly enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend to any visitor.

A fabulous experience from booking until leaving Hollywood beach! We drove an hour to get there (even though there were lots of closer snorkeling opportunities) and it was so worth it! The vibes were outstanding! The care and attention we received were first class! The equipment is in perfect condition and the owner/operators are just all around beautiful people! We will bring family and friends back!

What an experience! We went snorkeling with our 8 and 11 years old kids, and Thiago and Camila delivered an unforgettable experience. Kids enjoyed so much that we had hard time to get them out of the water.

This is a family business with husband/wife such a nice and accommodating couple. They provide drinks and a light snack after. Very very nice even got cupcakes for me and another participant birthday as a nice gesture(didn't ask them too).

My kids and I took my husband for his 40th birthday and it was such a nice experience. Camila and Thiago are so attentive, hospitable and catering. Camila stayed on the shore watching our personal items and preparing for when we returned to shore. They provided plenty of refreshments and sliced watermelon, which was so juicy. Since they knew it was my husband’s birthday, they also bought cupcakes and sang happy birthday to my husband. They seem like very humble people. Would highly recommend.

This was my 10-year-old daughter’s first-ever snorkel, and thanks to Thiago’s calm, patient, and encouraging presence, it turned into a memory we’ll both treasure forever. He was inn the water with us the whole time, our guide, our lifeguard, our underwater photographer! The biggest, most reassuring “fish” in the sea. Maria was incredibly responsive from the moment I booked and very kind, welcoming, and full of warmth. My daughter loved the seashell she had found and is making big lans for her new necklace! From coordinating our tour to greeting us back at shore with fresh watermelon and cold drinks (yes, really), she made us feel not just like customers, but guests. The tour itself was the perfect mix of freedom and safety, you’re not herded around like tourists, but you’re never left unsure. We kayaked out, which added a bit of sweat and satisfaction, and were rewarded with reef views, hauntingly cool underwater sculptures, and schools of fish that made us feel like part of their world. They were friend lil fish school and scatters which we were able to semi chase around! Bonus? The equipment was the best I’ve used anywhere (cleaned with a magic cleaner only those who book will get to know) from Puerto Rico to Egypt and all points in between. Clean, high quality, and clearly chosen with care. Whether you’re brand new to the water or a seasoned snorkeler, you’ll be 100% taken care of and you’ll be supporting two truly good humans who are doing something special in Hollywood Beach. We haven’t even seen the GoPro footage yet, but I already know it’ll be amazing, just like the experience.
