Fort Lauderdale Segway Tour

Did the evening ride. So much fun. Guide full of knowledge. Saw some decorated Halloween homes. Took great photos & videos & airdropped to me. Very accommodating as we got held up in traffic.

We were running out of time on our trip and I wanted to book a last minute activity so I booked the Segway tour for my son and myself. I was able to book it for the same day which was really nice! Our guide Mike met us right on time and did a great job teaching us to safely ride the Segways. He was very knowledgeable and I appreciated his passion for trees and a passion for the contributions of billionaire Wayne Huizenga. Mike taught me things that I would have never learned without his knowledge. He also made an effort to take pictures and videos of us riding the Segways, which definitely was a safer option than letting me try to work my phone while riding a Segway. Thank you Mike!!

We had an amazing experience with Segway Fort Lauderdale! Our tour guide Mike was fantastic! We started with a quick demonstration and tutorial on how to operate the Segways before heading out to explore the Riverwalk. Throughout the tour, Mike shared so many interesting facts about Fort Lauderdale’s history. I’ve lived in South Florida for almost my entire life, and I was surprised by how much I learned about a city I thought I knew so well! The tour was fun, informative, and a great way to experience Fort Lauderdale from a different perspective. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, I highly recommend giving it a try. And if you get Mike as your guide, you’re in great hands!

Our Segway tour was great fun! Jon was our guide and his enthusiasm is definitely contagious. We were a little nervous at first, but after the training Jon gave us, we all felt confident as we ventured out. The tour was amazing with fun facts given throughout. I had such a wonderful experience with this company! They knew so much about Fort Lauderdale that I didn’t know even though I live here! It was such a smooth ride and only took a few seconds to really understand how to operate and ride! Mike was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the political, architectural and horticultural history of Fort Lauderdale. We really enjoyed our ride with him and appreciated his thoughtfulness in regards to bathroom and foot breaks. TY Mike!

My family and I had the time of our lives. Our tour with Micheal was beyond outstanding. He gave us so much information about Ft. Lauderdale. He's a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide, we felt like we were in good hands. He was always watching out for our safety and was making sure our group was ok at all times. If you're visiting South Florida, please book a tour with this company and specifically ask for Micheal. He was the best! He really did work hard for us and we appreciate him so much! These large companies really don't tip their guides, so l make sure to tip them myself with cash. Micheal was outstanding! When we come back to Florida, we will come back to book another family tour. It will be the highlight of our future vacations. It was so much fun! Please tip your guide well, they really work hard to give you an amazing time!

Second time. First was excellent. this time i brought my 2 friends from NY. My best friend for 40 years fell withing the first 10 min of learning. he was unsure of what to do when turning, got a bit scared and tried to get off the segway. He fell, no injuries except bruised ego. Then on the return trip later, the light had faded and the area by the roundabout has a lip or step if you're not careful. He did not see the lip, and John the tour guide was not closeby since another of out segways had the battery die during the ride and he was bringing it to the business by hand. My friend has neck and shoulder and knee pain and had to ice and take advil. He's still hurting. The tour guide should have been watching him more closely since he had already fallen, It was a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable trip caused by a sequence of events which were not anticipated. Perhaps d/c twilight tours as the visibility in a strange area is a serious issue with non seasoned riders. Also the tour guide wanted to let us know immediately that there was a 20% gratuity and asked if we were paying cash or card. Not the experience we had hoped for.

This is easily one of the most enjoyable ways to spend time with your family/friends and see beautiful areas of Fort Lauderdale. Mike was a spectacular guide, very friendly and the most knowledgeable person I've met when it comes to Trees. We were the only ones booked and he gave us a private tour that ended up being almost two hours! Was lots of fun, he showed us all the cool facts and sights!

The tour was great. Mike was our tour guide and since we were returning customers he did a different tour so that we could have a new experience. Mike ir great and I advise this tour because it is really fun.

Absolutely loved this tour & would defo recommend to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. Mike is a great host, very patient when training people on the segways & very knowledgeable and passionate about his city and the nature surrounding it. The segways are such good fun and a great way to see the city. Really good value for money . Highly recommend.

Our tour guide, Mike, didnot follow the tour itinerary.....he only took us around the river walk and showed us some millionaire homes....he got carried away in telling us stories of trees and had lost us in the first 15 mins of the tour itself. Nevertheless, he was a good trainer and trained us to drive our segways well....we enjoyed the drive on the segway but truly regret that he didnot follow the itinerary, which was what primarily attracted me to the tour.

Mike was amazing! Was nervous to ride the segways but after a thorough lesson and making sure I felt comfortable it was a blast! Would 100% recommend for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale! So much fun 🥳

Our tour guide Michael was amazing very knowledgeable, friendly and overall a great guy. We had a blast.

This experience was a blast. We had never ridden a Segway before. Mike was the tour guide. He showed us how to ride the Segway. Be prepared with comfortable shoes. The Segway does put pressure on the bottom of your feet. So, you do fatigue quickly if you are not wearing comfortable shoes. During the tour we got to see some beautiful boats. I wouldn't say the mansions were really mansions. It was a nice neighborhood we rode through, but not really big houses. Mike does give you some history on the trees in the area. It seems to be a passion of his. Still a fun experience that I would do again.

Awesome tour with awesome Mike. Training was fun, thorough and easy. Mike made us instantly comfortable and was great with our 11 year old daughter. Tour itself was interesting and because it was a great weather day all the yachts were out and we got to see bridge go up as well. The homes/mansions in the neighborhood we toured were gorgeous and full of new and old history. Mike was also an unexpected wealth of tree knowledge! Truthfully, this and Mike's easy way really made the tour. Highly recommended.

Michael was amazing!! I felt like the whole experience was beautiful. Michael took his time to train us on the Segway’s to make sure we were safe. The views were gorgeous and even when I felt like I was going out of control on my Segway, Michael was able to stop and redirect me safely. I was there with my Turks for a Bachelorette trip. I would highly recommend! Such a great time.

The training was very good. Each member of our group got the attention needed to zip around like veteran riders. I was very pleased with the route we took. We were able to see historical and interesting novelty attractions (like the Harry Potter House). Our guide had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the city, down to even the treatment of individual trees. The experience was great! I recommend this tour for everyone.

Mike was superb! I took my family of five - 47, 46, 20, 16 & 13 - and we had a brilliant time! Mike takes real pride in his job and you can see he absolutely loves it and based on his knowledge of the area and his stories... the community loves Mike. I highly recommend this experience. 10/10

Mike our tour guide was phenomenal. He gave us great history of Fort Lauderdale, education about the amazing trees and beautiful tour of the waterfront and neighboring areas.

Mike was an excellent guide through Ft Lauderdale. It was fun to see the downtown as well as the Venice portion of the city. Mike was very informative of the history of the area along with natural features that most would not notice without a guide. Mike was also extremely helpful for us first time Segway users. Highly recommend.

Segway tour was fantastic. The location was a little tricky to find as the sign is very small and the address is to a very hectic area but once we got there it was great. Instructor was awesome during "training" before heading out along the riverwalk and cool neighborhoods. Group was small (6 people total) so it was very personal and very fun. 12 year old thought it was the best part of the whole trip. Will definitely book this again and try the longer duration ones as well.

Our Segway tour turned out to be one of those rare activities that both adults and kids genuinely enjoy. I went with a buddy and our kids, and from the start it felt more like an adventure than a typical guided tour. None of us had much experience on Segways, but within minutes we were gliding along like pros. The kids especially loved the feeling of “driving” their own machines, and it quickly became the highlight of the day. A big reason the experience worked so well was our tour guide, Michael. He struck the perfect balance between safety, instruction, and fun. At the beginning he took extra time making sure everyone—especially the kids—felt comfortable and confident before we started moving. He explained things clearly, kept an eye on everyone throughout the ride, and had a relaxed, friendly style that made the whole group feel at ease. What really stood out was how attentive he was to the younger riders. Instead of rushing through the tour, he checked in with them often, encouraged them when they got the hang of it, and made sure they were having as much fun as the adults. That kind of patience makes a huge difference when you’re doing something new with kids. By the end of the tour we were laughing and wishing the ride had been longer. It’s not always easy to find activities that entertain adults and kids equally, but this one nailed it. Great guide, great experience, and definitely something we’d do again.

Mike Pineda is a great guide. He is so knowledgeable about the history of Fort Lauderdale, the founding families and especially the trees. He was very patient with instructing us on the Segway. We had a blast! Highly recommend!

There are plenty of ways to spend your day and see Fort Lauderdale but this tour should be at the top of your list. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but this tour ended up being one of the standout moments of our trip. Mike Pineda took us through downtown, along a stunning scenic river walk and into the legendary mansion neighbourhoods — including past the former home of Wayne Huizenga. For anyone who appreciates that kind of history, it’s a genuinely cool moment, and the kind of route that shows you sides of the city most visitors never see. Mike is the real reason this tour is special. He’s sharp, funny, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of Fort Lauderdale’s history. What left the biggest impression on our group was his relationship with the natural environment. The way he talked about the trees and wildlife wasn’t something you’d find in a guidebook — it came from someone who genuinely sees and appreciates the natural world around him. He’d just returned from a brief vacation, and you’d never have known — his passion and enthusiasm were unwavering. If you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale and want an experience that goes beyond the typical tourist trail, this is it. Skip the generic sightseeing and do this instead. It was great learning about some of the history of Fort Lauderdale. And Segways are always a fun way to see a city.

John, guide, was attentive with a focus on safety. However, pay attention to what you are booking. I booked on their site which listed the tour as a mansion tour. It was not worth the time or money. Basically, went through a local neighborhood which was far from mansions. Yes, a coach built one of the houses unimpressive. Passed right by photo opportunities. Did not stop. One stop only, John took pictures. I asked if he could use my phone and he said, "NO I will send the photos I take to your phone." Really, NO, I have never been on a tour like this. Never received the photos he said he would send. Also, John was 10 minutes late for our 11:00am tour with no communication. I tried to call as was not sure I was in the right place and only got a voice recording. No call back. I would not book with this company again nor recommend this tour.

Great way to tour the riverwalk. Chris was a great segway instructor and tour guide. We were glad we signed up for this one.

Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly. Saw lots of things and had plenty of stops for pictures etc Only thing I think would have improved this is to have intercom receivers so everyone could hear what he was saying along the route. We've done tours before and had these and they were so useful, while driving we had raised curbs or pothole directions told to us all, but also had pointers along to look at, rather than always waiting to stop.

My friend and I had a blast on the Segway tour. Our guide Curtis was so professional, attentive and friendly. He did a fantastic job training us and watching out for usbduring the tour. I can’t wait to do it!!!

This tour was a ton of fun. John and Chris made it a great time. They were interesting and funny. The Segways are a lot of fun to ride. We would totally do this again next time we are Ft. Lauderdale.
