Fort Lauderdale Food & Drink Tour

Delicious food and great guide! This was a great tour; not a lot of walking; plenty of interesting history, info and stories. Dan was able to time out our walking between rain showers so we didn’t get wet. This was a lot of food! At the end we got our donuts to-go because we were stuffed!

Elyn was fantastic!! She was very knowledgeable and personable. Enjoyed learning about the area and the restaurants. All of the food and drink was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had such a fantastic time on this food tour! Howie, our host, was fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy going. He was gracious and helpful when we had an unfortunate detour on our way to the meeting point. Howie gave us tons of interesting information about Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas. He chose excellent restaurants and every stop had delicious food and yummy drinks. Howie’s most notable characteristic (aside from being very witty) was how genuine and kind he was to the local staff whom he seemed to know personally. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and we would definitely recommend this tour! Ask for Howie….you can’t go wrong!

Exceptional experience from beginning to end. We felt like family instantly, over our love for food, family, and history! Elyn (aka E. Wells) was a fabulous tour guide. She is local to the area, which always gives us a different perspective on the city and its history on the tour.

Superb tour, great Floridian tasting experience along with drinks to delight. It was also a pleasure to meet Elyn our guide, who had a wealth of local knowledge which she was keen to share.

The portions were generous for food tastings. Dan was an amazing tour guide giving us history as well. Worth the money for sure.

This tour was outstanding and exceeded our expectations immeasurably. Our tour guide (Elyn) was outstanding. She kept our small group (just 2 couples) engaged with her knowledge of both the food and community of Ft Lauderdale. The locations selected for this tour couldn’t be better chosen. The variety is perfect and there is never more than a few minutes to walk between them. The items selected help define the restaurants and we tried some new things we never would’ve ordered (that we would absolutely love to have again in the future…now that we know). We highly highly highly recommend this tour and would love to do another one again.

Dan was an amazing tour guide! He welcomed us with a warm smile and made everyone feel at home from the very beginning. As we headed to our first stop, he shared the fascinating history of the Riverside Hotel while we enjoyed a delicious Belgian waffle, scrumptious overnight oats, and refreshing bubbles. Our second stop was just as impressive. We had the best margaritas I’ve ever tasted, and the beef taco was to die for! I don’t want to give away all of the delicious surprises, but every bite was incredible. Along the way, Dan also shared the rich history of Las Olas, making the experience both delicious and educational. Dan’s knowledge, engaging storytelling, and friendly personality made every stop memorable. If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and unforgettable food tour, I highly recommend booking with Dan. This experience was a 10 out of 10!

This was my and my husband's second food tour, and it definitely will not be our last. Elyn, our guide, the food, drink, and locations did not disappoint. My husband and I took our son and daughter-in-law with us from CO to FL, and this was their first food tour. We all tried locations we would never have visited on our own. One of these locations we returned to twice before leaving. We all learned from Elyn part of the history of Las Olas and left feeling we had received more than we expected. Definitely a must!!!

Took this tour with friends and family before our cruise and I have to say, “We have ZERO regrets.” They definitely know how to do a food tour and we love this for them. Everything was wonderful. Professional and friendly guide, amazing food, and it wasn’t filled with endless walking. It was just the right amount of walking, stops, history and food. Definitely recommend and would do it again!

We had a great time. Elyn was our tour guide and she was friendly. I took my husband for his birthday and Elyn had a birthday candle for him and another guest celebrating her birthday. They worked with me on my food allergies. I have a lot so they weren’t able to accommodate at all stops but they did their best!

This was a great tour. My friend and I did it for her 50th birthday. It was a great opportunity to sample different restaurants. Starting off my a margarita was a hit. Casablanca was my fave.

Ask for Howie. Elyn was not good. Not funny or entertaining. Ask for Howie. Food was good. Enjoyed tour last year so thought I would introduce a new friend to the tour. Disappointed!

On addition to the food. We got to see a part of FL we wouldn’t otherwise have, and some history and background of the original town of FL. Interesting and fun, and the food was delicious! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. I’d recommend this tour to everyone!

We had such a good time on our food tour! All the food was good but se liked the Margaritas and pot roast quesadillas the best. Dan was a fantastic guide! He was knowledgable and was just a nice guy. We did a food tour in San Diego but Dan made this one worth gold!

We have been on food tours in New York City, Paris, Rome, and many more. This tour highlighted local foods and definitely held its own. Our guide Elyn did an awesome job. We highly recommend it - we actually went back to one of the stops for dinner that evening.

Our guide was lovely, informative and concerned that we enjoy our experience. The walk was easy to do, in a place that is fun to walk afterwards. I would only rate the food as fair. There were too many carbs and repetitions of flavors from restaurant to restaurant. The best 2 items served were the roast beef quesadilla from El Camino with a delicious margarita and the tiramisu in a dark chocolate cup from another restaurant.

Every restaurant Dan brought us to was amazing! The food at each one was delicious. Dan did a great job sharing the history of each place and the surrounding area.
