The tour was a nice opportunity to see some of Ft. Lauderdale's waterways & the homes fronting on them. Good exercise too. If you do the tour in July like we did, be prepared to sweat & suntan lotion is a good idea. Bring water!

We rented a tandem kayak (for me and my 10 y/o) to do the eco guided tour in Fort Lauderdale, and Courtney and Brandon were terrific! They both made us feel welcomed, comfortable and most importantly safe. We had wonderful weather that day and there was beautiful scenery to enjoy. We were a bit tired from paddling on our way back and Courtney and Brandon had equipment and gear ready to pull us all the way back to our destination. So we were able to rest and just enjoy the rest of the trip. Overall we Had a great experience on our guided trip. Definitely worth the money.
Danni was amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, helpful …. we had a great trip!
Lovely kayak trip through some mangroves. Saw iguanas and mangrove crabs. Friendly staff and clean and nice location.
Sarah made the trip!! What an awesome tour guide,,,,, her stories and SUP/kayaking skills skillfully knit a group of strangers together into a little cohesive community in 90 minutes! A definite must-do adventure if you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale area! Thank you Sarah! We hope to book a snorkeling trip with you in the future!
This bike tour was the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation. Troy was extremely knowledgeable and made sure everyone felt comfortable. He was happy to stop for photos and shared great suggestions for food and activities. If you’re looking for a fun way to explore Fort Lauderdale, this is it.
Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature. We had an extrodinary guide Cathy to take us on this peaceful escape and reconnect us to ourselves and the beauty around us. We saw a manatee and her baby, a tortoise, many iguanas, several birds. So much fun!
Our guides were great! My family and I truly enjoyed the experience. Would high recommend!
It's the third Viator in Ft Lauderdale The leader however has to stay in front I got lost for a while
Cassity was awesome! She was very professional, extremely knowledgeable on many aspects of the tour including the wildlife and the environment we encountered. Such a fun spirit and guide.
Thank you to Courtney for a great experience. She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations of other places to go while on our holiday.
An outstanding experience. The gentleman who greeted us, and out host, was very courteous and informative regarding our exploration. He answered all our questions and offered a secure location to leave items we didn't want to possibly get wet. He even let me use a cell phone holder that keeps the phone dry but allows photos to be taken. The young lady who was our guide was perfect. Very informative regarding the canal areas we were kayaking in, along with wonderful history of the trees, foliage, wildlife, and architecture. Perfect customer service skills 👌🏼. She also took nearly 60 photos of me and my nephews during our journey, and forwarded them to us immediately upon our return. This team is highly recommended!
It’s good exercise. You don’t really see much unless it’s manatee season. I would recommend going during manatee season. Tour guide was very nice.
Lovely time on water, learned about the locale, professional guide. I did the SUP, my friends had kayaks.
Excellent kayaking trip. Sarah our host was exceptional and made the experience. We would recommend this as an activity whilst in Fort Lauderdale.
We had an unforgettable kayak tour in Fort Lauderdale, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide, Cassy. From the moment we started, her warm, friendly energy made everyone feel welcome and excited for the adventure. Cassy's deep knowledge of the local environment and wildlife truly enriched the experience—she pointed out hidden gems and shared fascinating facts that we would have never discovered on our own. It's clear she’s passionate about what she does, and that passion shines through in every part of the tour. Cassy went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe, fun, and memorable time on the water. Simply put, she’s the best guide we could have asked for!
Tour guide and equipment were good. Our online request per the website for a 2 person kayak was not received by the operator but they were able to accommodate us once the tour group before us returned. Bring your own water and snacks as they are not provided. For the cost of the tour it would have been nice if they had provided those in an easy to store waterproof bag. Not much wildlife was observed but this is the winter season. Overall a pleasant 2 hour tour and activity.
Our tour guide was sweet and dedicated to finding a manateee which we did spot at the very end. She never gave up. Everyone friendly and the space where you meet up for kewt and comfy with lawn chairs lined up by the river to chill while you wait for your guide. Loved it!!!
We had an unforgettable time kayaking with Sunrise Paddleboards! Our guide, Brian, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole trip enjoyable. We got to see some beautiful properties along the river and even spotted some wildlife! If you’re into nature and a bit of adventure, this is the tour for you. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale.
I had a great time on this kayaking tour. It was my first time kayaking, so I was a little nervous, but our guide, Jason, made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. The route through Wilton Manors was quiet and beautiful, and we got to see a side of Fort Lauderdale that I never knew existed. Jason’s commentary about the local area and wildlife was informative without being overwhelming. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxing way to explore the area.
The tour was wonderful. We spent a few hours kayaking through the peaceful waters of Wilton Manors and learned so much about the local flora and fauna. Our guide, Troy, was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made sure to tailor the experience to our pace, which was great since we were first-timers. The mangroves were the highlight for me – a beautiful, hidden gem. It was the perfect way to spend a couple of hours outdoors in Fort Lauderdale.
I had such a great time on the kayaking tour! The guide, Troy, was fantastic – he kept things light and fun while sharing some really cool facts about the area. The mangroves were absolutely beautiful, and the whole experience was so peaceful. It was the perfect way to get outside and enjoy nature in Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
This was a fun kayaking excursion to the mangroves. It took us about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The guide provided narration during the trip. I recommend it.
Beautiful scenery and good equipment- family friendly. The guide was very nice and it was very relaxing
They were very nice but the time in the mangroves was quite limited and did not include time navigating narrow passages, as I’ve experienced on other mangrove kayak tours
Friendly, kind and fun. A must do for everyone in Florida and a great tour guide. Going back for another tour.
It was a great trip through the inter coastal and into the mangroves! Our guide Troy did a great job of keeping us entertained along with information and fun facts as you paddled.
Jason was an outstanding guide through wilton Manor. Never knew this series of waterways existed. Delightful day. Highly recommend
It was a beautiful day for a kayak excursion. The time went too quick! We only saw two small herons and Florida’s ugly ducks but we enjoyed the ride!
Brian was a great guide! Beautiful kayak trip. I would highly recommend it! If you want to see manatees, go in the winter. We were a touch early.
Great excursion for some sun and fun and overall chill relaxing time on the water Highly recommend!!
Jason was our guide and we had a wonderful experience. A quick paddle and kayak lesson (as a review since we are not beginners) and we were on the Middle River. We paddled and it was quiet and relaxing, in the middle of a major metropolitan suburb. We saw some beautiful gardens and properties along the way. Jason provided a low key but very informative narration of the area, plants, fish, etc. Highly recommend!!
We really liked it! Our tour guide was super friendly and very helpful. We brought our kids and they liked it too!
This was so amazing, the tour guides are so kind any knowledgeable. They really go out of they're way to make sure it's a fun adventure. I'm planning on going again if I'm back in the area.
Kent was great! He told us about the area and tidbits of info. We had a really fun time! You should do it!
My girlfriend and I had a great time. It was our first time riding kayaks so we opted for the tour. It was a bit of a workout but overall a fun experience. Jason was our guide and he was phenomenal. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and took a bunch of pictures for us. We will definitely come back here for any paddle boarding/kayaking in the future!
Kent was an excellent guide. The trip was easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. We didn’t see any manatees as we were hoping until we went to dock. Another guide, Troy, was there telling us to go past and we would see one. He then paddled out with us and got video. A beautiful day on the water
Troy was awesome tour guide. Happy go lucky guy with lots of knowledge. We picked his brain for local things to do, places to go and places to eat.
Took my Wife on a kayak tour with Sunrise. Troy was our guide. I told him up front that I wanted the princess experience for her and he delivered. We both thoroughly enjoyed the outing
This was a great time. Our tour guide went nice a slow and pointed out different things for us to look at and explained the area we were paddling through. He even took pictures of us, so we didn't chance our phones falling into the water!
Dana was awesome - what a great kayaking tour!! She was very friendly, showed us some great spots along the tour. We had a wonderful time - will come back again!!
Kent took care of very well and very welcoming. Everything was perfect, kayak were all in good condition and very comfortable. Highly recommend speaking with him for your next adventures, definitely coming back!
We enjoyed our tour of Wilton Manors, but felt it was over-priced. My husband and I were the only ones on the tour and our guide was great. He was personable and interesting and did his best to spot and point out wildlife along the way. The highlights were the iguanas and the ibis. However, $99 each for under two hours on the water seemed expensive! If you know how to kayak, we'd recommend just renting kayaks for approximately a quarter of the price and heading off by yourselves with a map.
We had a blast on this tour! Paul, our guide, was very knowledgeable. This tour is great for beginners and experienced kayakers! We saw lots of birds and iguanas. It was very peaceful, not much traffic on the waterway. We highly recommend this for everyone!
Tour guide was very informative kind and helpful. Witty and funny but good humor. Great first time experience, hope for an even better one next time.
Jared was a wonderful tour guide. Nice easy paddle with great views. Looking forward to doing this tour again. Highly recommend!
fun tour for our family. Tour guide was very friendly. Views were great. Would return for another tour next time we are in area
Loved this kayaking tour! Jared, our guide, was awesome and fun! Highly recommend if you have teenagers or smaller kids. They have tandem kayaks so families with small kids can enjoy the tour.
Beautiful, quiet and informative canal kayaking tour with our guide Ken. First past beautiful houses with many green iguana lizards. A little further on, you get to a mangrove area where you can see manatees, turtles and various birds. Unfortunately, we haven't seen any manatees. It's a reason to come back here. Can absolutely recommend the tour.
