The museum was super fun to explore. I wish I took the time to do the scavenger hunt, instead we just breezed through and enjoyed the various art installations. Highly recommend this!

It was so much fun for all three generations we took! It was actively engaging, we appreciated the art forms, and 10/10 will go back!
A great old Florida/weird Florida experience! It’s like a Floridian OmegaMart and it’s so much fun to explore for my family including kids 6 and 12. We did three of the scavenger hunts and were there for a couple of hours. It ended up being the highlight of our weekend trip to St Pete. And like Meowolf, there’s other stuff in the same building worth checking out like Rose’s and the record store. Easy to spend half a day in. If you’re into mid-century Florida and quirky experiences that evoke the old roadside attractions that used to dominate our state, you must go.
My husband and I visited FloridaRAMA for a date night and had an absolute blast! We decided to do the scavenger hunt, which made the experience even more fun. A few of the hidden items were pretty challenging to find, but that just made it more rewarding when we finally spotted them. There are so many creative photo opportunities throughout, and the artwork is incredibly imaginative and unique. Everywhere you look, there's something interesting to discover. Whether you're looking for a fun date night, a day time activity, or just a different kind of experience, FloridaRAMA is definitely worth a visit. Such a cool place all around!
I am really torn about this review and this location. I had high hopes after reading the previous reviews but it was very disappointing. It has a couple of good things, experiences but unless you upgrade or purchase some of the other scavenger hunt items this becomes really boring. There is no real guidance as to where to start, or what to do. We purchased our tickets on Groupon and even though we saved like $12 per person I still think we paid too much. As we checked in we told them this was our first time we didn't know what to do, we were just told to walk around touch things be curious and have fun. If I can say something to the next person going that has never gone before, please start at the mermaid motel office. There is a free QR code that you can scan to open up a free bingo card if you did not pay for other added things. We also scan the map and read the instructions in regards to finding the cat collars with the numbers, when we found all three of them we follow the instructions and couldn't really figure out what was the benefit of doing that. Again everything was just really confusing. We will not be recommending this place because we do not want our friends to spend their money in something like we did.
This was a last minute trip with my kids the price was reasonable and the experience was great! My kids love to touch and feel things and this was totally worth it! The art was colorful and unique!
Such a fun and interactive experience. Both us (adults) and our 5 year olds really enjoyed the experience!
Creative, Imaginative and lots of fun. Definitely an immersive experience. Alot of work went into creating this unique experience. A must see!!
Way overpriced for what it is and what you get. $27 for adults and $25 for kids was not worth the experience. I could see $10-$15 per person but at $108 for our family and spending less then 45 minutes there! Very underwhelming and not worthy the money.
I was unsure about it at first but all of us had a great time. The savenger hunt added to our experience. The staff were super friendly. I wish the food court was open but the music shop had so many things. I'm going back when my family comes to visit. It a must do! Bought more tickets for my daughter to have a date night for her birthday. Definetly a hidden gem!!
Oh my! What a great place to get out of the Florida heat. FloridaRAMA has so many nooks and crannies to discover. The exhibit is very unique and appropriate for all ages. We found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Do not miss the gift store/market hidden in the back . The artist that is producing the items is extremely talented. You will want everything. We highly recommend!!!!
What a ripoff for the money! We only spent about 20 minutes and had been in every room and were not impressed. Save your money and find something else to do.
Amazing place to visit! Nice way to enjoy an artist’s views on n designing themed rooms! Went to see local artist Chad Mize event for his new unveiling of work. Great event, music was perfect and the social was fun!
A delightful piece to the St. Petersburg Art Culture...kid friendly (young and old kids). Easy to get around with rollators and strollers. An indoor wonderland of whimsy. Kudos to the front desk staff who are utterly delightful and set the tone for fun time.
Visited FloridaRAMA on Memorial Day looking for a fun indoor escape from the Florida heat, and it was a great pick. This is a quirky, tongue-in-cheek love letter to (and gentle poke at) Florida culture, with immersive themed rooms, funky visuals, and lots of fun photo opportunities. My favorite area was the local artist/graffiti-inspired space, which felt especially connected to St. Pete’s creative energy. The motel-themed section was also a lot of fun and perfectly captured that kitschy old Florida vibe. I was also mildly amused (and maybe a little surprised 😄) to discover they serve alcohol, and their gift shop being named “The Tourist Trap” absolutely fits the sense of humor of the whole place. One of the unexpected things we really enjoyed was the scavenger hunt element woven into the experience. Having little things to look for along the way made it more interactive and added a fun extra layer beyond just walking through the exhibits. I will say I expected a bit more actual art and a bit less emphasis on photo-op installations, but overall I’m still really glad we went. If you enjoy offbeat attractions, immersive experiences, or just want something fun to do indoors in St. Petersburg, it’s definitely worth adding to your list.
This was such a fun family experience (kids 13, 10, 7). We could have spent even more time there. We did three scavenger hunts and they were so much fun (although we ended up circling back around because we didn’t full pay attention to all of them from the start)! Even if you opt not to do them, there are so many interesting things to look at. Created by awesome artists. For those who like photo ops, there are so many fun ones, for those not interested, it’s so fun to just go through art installations. The pool area and center are just nice sitting areas to take it all in. And the felt! ♥️. Admission price worth it. Staff was helpful when we needed help on the scavenger hunt. Went on a Saturday and was not crowded. Afterwards we drove like two blocks to golfology and walked to lunch at Bayboro Brewing!
I think this is a cute place if you really want to support artists. It is unusual, for sure. In my opinion, it was overpriced. It is "no-cash" but then you get charged a convenience fee for credit cards. It is a very small place, so don't expect to spend much time there. Most teenagers will be bored. The scavenger hunt was not worth it in my opinion.
Visited this Museum 3/18/26 @ around 12:30pm The museum was fine but there was an incident in the gift shop leaving. My son tripped and reached out to brace himself on a shelf that was not secured. The shelf fell down and landed on some art covered in plastic that was filed in like they were records below the shelf. The guy at the register ran over and was freaking out over the art the shelf landed on ignoring the possibility that my son could of been seriously hurt. He never looked at me or my son and only showing concern over his precious gift shop art. He mumbles we need a manager out here over and over. Someone does come out but they look awkward and leave. Then a lady comes out and does not talk to me either. The register guy that is mumbling about his art proceeds to charge me full price for 2 of the art works. Since my 2 sons and wife are with me i end up storing all the rage inside and paying for the art which cost me $75. Yes i could of just left. Yes i could have made a huge scene but i decided not to flip out in front of my family. Take this review for what it is.
Went with my two adult daughters. We loved it! We did the Flower Power scavenger hunt and the birthday one. Some very talented people put this thing together, some of the arts is really tripping but so cool! There is a lot of stuff to look and marvel at, my personal favorite was the Lucy Sparrow store that looked like a real little store but everything is made from felt! You can actually buy the items, SO cool! People of all ages will enjoy coming here, I asked a mom with her two small children how they liked it and they loved it! I can imagine some kids might get a little weirded out by some of the stuff they see but all in all a really fun experience for all!
Had a great time! It was fun we did the PEPE scavenger hunt made it more of an adventure!!
Been wanting to go to this interactive art exhibit for a while and it was better than expected. The art that is in each of the rooms is totally amazing and very well done. The Lucy Sparrow exhibit was a great addition. Her art is truly incredible and looks exactly like the item she is replicating. Highly recommend
This is my second time here and it was just as fun as the first! This is where I chose to go for my birthday both times! I bring my teenage kids with me and they love it too! It’s an unusual and quirky place full of unique artwork and innovative use of materials. It’s fun and quirky and sort of makes your brain explode! This time, the Sugar Rush felt grocery store was open and we were floored at how realistic the items made of felt looked and the craftsmanship! The addition of the scavenger hunts and mini golf are great and the gift shop is awesome! Attached is the best record store and more art and artists to explore. It makes my weird heart happy! Definitely recommend!
I went to FloridaRAMA last year and was delighted to come back. There are Christmas decorations! I always lose myself in the place in one enticing fantasy after another. We even did the very clever scavenger hunt this time. The staff is friendly and helpful. They enhance the magic of the place. The felt supermarket was a lot of fun and, yes, we bought groceries. We had. Great time. Thank you
I've been wanting to check this out for awhile. My friend came to visit and it was the perfect girl's day out! There is a lot to see and they have several different scavenger hunts to make it a little more fun. Pro tip: if you stop at the record store and make a purchase you get a little discount! 🎶
Floridarama was a quick and fun experience, perfect for a cold Florida day while staying at the beach. If you play the game, it can extend your visit, but overall it’s much shorter than similar attractions like Meow Wolf, which can take 2 hours or more. A fun, light activity if you’re looking for something different without a huge time commitment.
This was a fun interactive experience for the whole family. I would definitely recommend to everyone.
FloridaRAMA exceeded our expectations! The art works were original and thought provoking. Just be prepared to get a little lost!
There’s a lot to see and a lot of options to take pictures. My family really enjoyed it! Very colorful. Really liked it alot
FloridaRAMA was an absolute blast! 🎉 From immersive rooms to interactive games, there was something fun around every corner. Whether you wanted to dive into the games or just explore on your own, the experience kept you engaged and entertained the whole time. Highly recommend for a day full of laughs, surprises, and hands-on fun!
A motel in florida with black bears, hurricanes, Florida Panthers and mermaids. It was a really cool, immersive and creative exhibit. The artists did some really cool stuff. I loved all the rooms, particularly the strawberry room, the Indian room, and the pool area. Definitely check it out!
We had a fun time with our daughter and she wants to go back to take her young 4 year old as we all feel he’s enjoy it too. It’s an interactive artsy studio where you can pay an extra $7 to fill in sheets to identify birds. Signs, coins and birds / there’s also indoor golf but it’s not the greatest - the riddles help you find the coins. We spent 90 minutes here and had a fun family time. It’s $25 if you’re a senior or a FL resident and can buy tickets on line or on arrival. There’s free parking outside and on the side streets.
We visited Florida Rama yesterday with our family (kids ages 11 and 14), and it was definitely a unique experience. At first, we were a bit confused about what exactly it was supposed to be — it’s not a traditional museum, and it’s not an interactive game or activity center. In the end, it felt more like walking through an immersive art installation. Once we shifted our expectations to see it as an art piece, we found it more interesting and enjoyable. If you go in with that mindset, you’ll likely appreciate the creativity and visual details much more.
Went for the Savannah Magnolia scavenger hunt. It was a great experience. Fun museum. Perfect for families, as a date night or just as an opportunity to view some interest art/artists. The entire museum features a wide variety of artistic styles in a fun and funky way. What a treat!
My 10 year old granddaughter loved it and thanked me over and over for taking her. I had a great time as well. We spent two very active hours there.
Creative art installations with an immersion experience. Enjoy a fun filled afternoon in St. Petersburg Florida. Must see for the whole family.
The perfect place to experience St. Pete's art vibes and star all under one roof. Incredible art and mysteries to explore together. Definitely do a scavenger hunt and browse the gist shop. Free parking and food and beverage options also a plus!
Went to visit last week and had a great day. Fun and creative experience. Staff was great and I'll be back. This is a great place to host an event.
The artwork was impressive. It wasn't super busy when we went so we had ample time for photos :) It was something different and fun for my family to do on the weekend. Highly recommend. Make sure you opt in for the mini golf ;)
This “adventure” cost $42.50 each; it was worth, maybe $10 each. It was not black light(just dark); the 9 hole course was tiny and basic (no charm added); the surrounds were some what interesting, but mostly high school art class creative. The whole thing took 35-45 minutes. I do not recommend this on any level.
WS Made it sound like good, great even, not even ok. Really bad, bad art, bad scavenger hunt, can’t believe we paid $100 and we were there like 40 min.
We were staying in St Pete for a PhD Graduation and needed an activity to keep the Kids and Adults entertained while waiting for the stormy weather to clear. FloridaRama which is also located in St. Pete checked all our boxes! Super quick and fast to purchase online tickets for same day entrance to the Exhibition. There is FREE street parking although you may have to circle a few times. This was our first time to an eclectic Art Museum represented by local Artists in an interactive environment. We were not sure what to expect. It WAS a totally COOL experience! Upon entering, our Group tried to stay together but, we were all drawn to different exhibits and ended up going in different directions. No worries, there is a central meeting place located in the exhibit. There is an option to find clues amongst the several exhibits in order to solve a mystery puzzle. We let the Kids figure that one out while, my husband and I just roamed back and forth, in and out and sideways. Super entertaining for a few hours until the showers pass and the sun returns! BTW, they have dippin dots as a special treat in the Gift Shop. A must have.
I visited FloridaRAMA while in town visiting my daughter, who is a Freshman at a local college. It was the perfect activity for us - fun, creative, interactive, and engaging. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience. It would be a good option with young kids, older kids, or as a fun date.
My husband and I were looking for something different to do in St.Pete and chose the Immersive Art & Technology Museum. We are aging ourselves, but it reminded us of our college days…psychedelic. Everything was hands on which was nice, but we had no clue what the artist was trying to convey. It would have been helpful to have a description of the artist and their message. I think there was something we could scan, but perhaps it would have been more inclusive, if there was placard next to each exhibit. It is definitely something nice to try when the weather is iffy…alittle pricey. As for the gift shop, I was hoping to find jewelry etc to purchase. In fact, I have been looking for halogram of blinking eyes pierced earrings!
Very expensive and a poor substitute for a Meow Wolf. If your kids is under 10 and it’s a rainy day….maybe? Not a good value.
Greetings, I left feeling as if I missed a lot that would have greatly expanded a feeling of more appreciation when exiting the exhibit. During the walk through, I had much appreciation for the artistic work such as the artists time, varied techniques and the multi media used. Yet, I left feeling that I missed a lot behind the entire exhibit. For example, a clear understanding of the artists mindset and what is being represented related to FL in each individual exhibit. What would have improved the experience? An overview of what is being represented in each exhibit with an explanation of the types of applied art for each exhibit. I also thought it was odd that the name of the artists were missing from every exhibit. Maybe paying the $7 for the hands on feature may have enhanced my experience.
It was so incredibly unusual. I really enjoyed it. There were amazing things to see around evert corner. It was amazingly weird.
Ehhh.. Overpriced and not the greatest quality "art." They also convinced us to purchase tickets for a "scavenger hunt" and handed us a clipboard but did not provide us with any instructions. There were apparently two additional "scavenger hunts" going on at the same time, so it was kind of a confusing mess. It was an underwhelming experience at best. With all the great museums and exhibits in St. Pete, I wouldn't add this to my long list of museums and exhibits worth a visit!
It was a fun adventure! I'd recommend the coffee table book in the reception area of the hotel be made into a book - I know I'd like one!
Poorly done. Very little to see. Not worth the money. Very disappointed. Took only about 15mins to see everything.
Honestly one of the best things I’ve experienced. It involves all of the senses. The strawberry room was my favorite! I highly recommend doing the scavenger hunt! Even better is we had the privilege of having our portraits drawn by Eva.
