We took our two older teens for a 60 minute private sunset tour and had a wonderful experience. Older teens are not easy to impress and they said this was the highlight of our entire Florida trip. Captain disco was so friendly and informative and took his time to answer our multiple questions throughout the tour. They provided us with earplugs and sent us a few texts in the days leading up to the tour along with a phone call to make sure we knew where we were going, what time to be there, and what to bring. Long sleeve shirts or light jackets was a very helpful tip since we didn’t realize it would get chilly on the water at the high speeds. Thank you so much for the memorable experience, it was more than we had hoped for and was so worth the money!

Itinerary
In this private Florida Everglades Airboat tour, your experienced captain will guide your craft across the river of sawgrass and cattails at speeds up to 40 mph (64 km), all under the cover of dark. As you glide across the swamp, you’ll hear the calls and rustling of the Everglades’ nocturnal creatures. Your guide will tell you stories about the Seminole Indians who lived in this wilderness, as well as the panthers, birds, snakes, frogs, fish and bugs that call this national wildlife preserve home. In addition to this fascinating airboat adventure, you’ll also gain entrance to exhibit areas at Sawgrass Recreation Park during normal daytime hours. You’ll see many species both native and exotic to Florida, learn about a 1,000-pound alligator and interact with animals in the swamp yard exhibit. Important Note: Pricing is based on a per person basis; regardless of number of people booking, you are buying out the whole boat for your private tour. All ages are welcome to enjoy the airboat tour. Children 3 years and under need not be included in the guest count as there are no additional charges for this age.

A phenomenal airboat ride experience with Captain Chelle. We made some real core memories surrounded by a phenomenal environment, amazing sunsets and, of course, the majestic alligators. Thank you, Captain Chelle — you were an absolute delight!
The experience was unique and fun for all ages - kids were entertained and the guide was knowledgeable.
Great trip. Captain Justin is good peops. Saw 5 Gators.
It is advised to alert all costumers of the loud noise of the airboat especially for children so they can wear headphones as small children do not keep ear plugs in and the earplugs weren’t very good as one of mine tore early on!!!
It was truly a wonderful experience! We had already done a day ride and that was great too! However, there is something really special about the night ride! I recommend it highly even if you have already done it during the day. We saw lots of gators and our captain, Disco, was very knowledgeable. He could spot a gator from so far away! We were all amazed!
My sister & I just did this tour. It was exhilarating. Our operator was informative & entertaining. As we have never been on an airboat it was a new experience. One to be remembered for a long time. We saw several crocodile's in their natural habitat.
So beautiful, and amazing wildlife. Go at sunset for the best of both worlds, light, sunset and then darkness.
The ride was great, our captain Andrew was an absolute G.O.A.T, would recommend to anyone trying to explore the Everglades. Me and my friends are from Massachusetts and loved how informative the experience was.
Captain disco was brilliant explaining and answering all our questions we saw several alligators which was fascinating we did a private tour as there was 8 of us. This is a must excellent value for money
Captain Andrew was fantastic and made sure our private night tour was an enjoyable experience. We went just before sunset and got the best of both with daytime and nighttime scenes. We’ll be back again! A very cool experience and well worth the visit.
I loved it! Wish it was longer. We saw about 4/5 gators. I do believe there are areas deeper where the bigger ones are but I enjoyed it.
We’re from the UK and knew this would be our one and only trip on the Everglades so I did lots of research before booking this tour and I’m so glad I chose this one. We booked an evening red eye private tour and it was amazing. Our captain was great and knowledgeable and we were very lucky to see at least 8 gators. The ride was thrilling and having the opportunity to see the alligators up close in their natural habitat was stunning. Before our tour we looked around the exhibit’s and had a photo opportunity with a gator and the guy was friendly and informative. A trip we will never forget.
We started working with Nicole at the Sawgrass Recreation Park in January for our large group to do a private airboat tour during our company offsite. I'm not going when I say this was one of the most incredible things we've ever done. Everyone loved that food we added for catering, and the tour itself was great. While we only saw a few gators, it was just so beautiful. Just miles and miles of wetlands and getting to experience this with our team was truly magical. Nicole and the team easily accommodated our group of 85 and I will definitely be back.
The airboat ride could have been better, try not to get the 2pm tour because the alligators will be in the water and harder to see. After the ride, though, we checked out the rescued animals, and Shame certainly enhanced the experience with his knowledge and stories. I wasn't interested in the tortoise he mentioned, but I LOVED the baby chicks, didn't expect to see those in Fla. I definitely recommend this experience!
Trip was amazing. Our Captain Trey did a fantastic job taking us out, and finding wildlife in the area. During our trip we saw seven alligators! It was a wonderful time for our family. The trip was also very relaxing and safe. Never felt nervous about anything. We also got the opportunity to see baby gators and had a chance to pet them. The Sawgrass team was very respectful and took safety very seriously during the entire time. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you!
Very nice ride on airboat and description of nature. We encountered two alligators and several birds.
Oh my goodness! I loved this...the Everglades at night are so amazingly etereal. And we had a great time searching out alligators. One was not happy with us and banged right into the boat. But the best part was just taking in the beauty of the Everglades at night.
This is an excellent tour if you truly want to see alligators and increase your knowledge of them. Our captain, Nick, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the opportunity to see so many alligators from new borns to adults. We explored other native wildlife as well. It was non-stop alligator sightings where we were taken close up to get great video and photos. This is definitely the tour to book. Don’t waste your money elsewhere. Take this tour.
Incredible experience! We spent an hour on the air boat at night with Captain Robert and would highly recommend! Not for young children, but our teenagers loved it! Thrilling tour but still felt safe with our knowledgeable guide. Would do it again!
Captain Disco was great, informative and a good guide. We saw 4 alligators, but it’s understandable once you learn about the alligators move around in their habitat. It was pretty cool they way he would spot them with the flashlight.
Captain Chuck really showed us a good time! We saw alligators, herons, coots and fish. The sunset was beautiful! Highly recommend the private over the group, for the main reason the boat. The group boat sit down inside, like an amusement ride. Private group boat sits high on top of the boat. You get a better view, lots of wind and the feeling of gliding over the saw grass is so fun!
so awesome looking for alligators at night. tour guide was great. airboat is cool gliding over everything in the swamp.
Anyone who has the time should consider this tour. The Everglades at night are so beautiful--ethereal is how I would describe it. And it was fun searching for alligators. Well worth the time and money.
Actually seeing alligators & other Everglade creatures & given info about them. FASCINATING! Captain Mike did a great job as captain & teacher!
Very fun . Kids loved it .?felt very safe and was surprisingly bug free and cool. Captain Disco answered all the million questions asked by my 8 year old :)
My party of 6 had a fantastic time with Captain Disco. Would def be back again if ever in the area!!
It was great seen a couple gators our operator was knowledgeable about the gators answered all of the questions that was asked and he gave us more time out there... it was a fun exp will return!!!
Our guide explained a little about the everglades. That was nice. But he also explained why we likely would not see any alligators (a cold front was coming in and the alligators burrow into mud to stay warm). After that it was up to us to ask questions. He offered no additional interesting facts about alligators or the everglades. Our tour was at 5 pm and we did get beautiful sunset photos. He never offered to take our picture.
Captain Disco was great. Boat tour was very nice. Saw many alligators and other wildlife. Highly suggest 6:00pm tour!!!
We had a blast on the night tour. Teens loved it too. Guide was knowledgeable and fun. Saw 6 gators from old and large males to 1 year old babies. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing private airboat ride with captain Chuck. He was super knowldgable about a beautif area. The ride was fun and simply beautiful.
Have always wanted to see Everglades. Being from NJ I definitely wanted to do on our Florida vacation. Went online and found this site where we could do a private ride and did so immediately without any problems. The site was great including confirmation and accurate driving directions. I can’t begin to tell how great this trip was. Our guide Captain Paul was outstanding. Knowledgeable funny and really caring about the Everglades and it’s inhabitants.. We stopped and saw multiple alligators and native birds. And then of course the ride!!!!Soooo much fun!!! Definitely a must if you are in area.

The Private Night Tour in the Everglades was an Awesome experience. Seeing the Alligators in the Wild at such close quarters was absolutely Fantastic. Captain Gerald was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt a lot from his experience

We decided to visit this park expecting a respectful experience with nature, but we left deeply disappointed. They keep alligators and reptiles in captivity within small wire enclosures, with noticeably stagnant, dirty, and unhealthily yellowish water. The worst part is that they use baby alligators for tourist entertainment, forcing them to pose for photos with their mouths completely sealed with thick black tape, which causes them evident stress. If you are looking for an authentic and respectful experience with the wildlife of the Everglades, do not come here. There are much more ethical options within the National Park.
There was a second time! The tour itself is great, but this time it was completely ruined by the driver Woman! Rolled us for less than half an hour, saw only one crocodile, before boarding did NOT wipe the wet seats!!!🤬 showed some discontent and NOT friendly with all her sight... She made comments and resented us for translating her speech into Russian for our friends. Ruining the whole experience...👎
