The folks here, and the equipment were excellent! Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Service for delivery and pick-up was great. Deven, and Brittany were terrific! I would certainly recommend them!

The day we did the paddle - right after hurricane Rafael - Sunny day, ocean was clam - wind is still relatively strong on our way back from the mangrove to the dock Understood it's not the perfect condition for kayaking, we still gave it a shot. what is good: - staff is very helpful, they set accurate expectation before we get on the kayak - one mantee was at the dock right behind the shop - we met some dolphins in the first few minute of our kayaking - it's a unique experience to paddle inside the mangrove not so good: - we didn't see any interesting wildlife after the first few minutes, pretty much small fishes and jellyfishes - visibility to the seabed is not that good, it's like cloudy and we can barely see the bottom inside the mangrove - tons of tiny bugs inside the mangrove, they are like a tiny black dots and they bite - is it worth to go? it's probably not worth to go in a bad weather day, but that's very unique experience which I recommend people to try. Bring a insect repellent, and probably go with a guide, you will get more value from that.

Great customer service, extremely stable and easy to paddle stand up paddle boards and a fabulous location. We rented in November and saw manatees (including a baby manatee), small nurse sharks and iguanas. 2 Great paddle routes- one to the mangroves and one to an island off the coast. We were able to do them both. Very reasonable dialy flat rate which is much more relaxing than renting by the hour and trying to time everything. The shop is really nice too with lots of sun shirts.

We had a great time! Very worth it for the price. We got to use the paddles all day. Our booking was self-guided, but the tour guides seemed awesome and super nice.

Loved the experience. We (2 older couples, 55+) were all new to paddle boarding and it was a windy day. The folks there explained what to do and how to get started. We found our way through the creeks from their guidance. We saw fish and birds and even a dolphin at the end and we all survived the trip! We had a few mishaps, but we now have some stories to tell. They were patient and kind and offered to allow us to change to kayaks if the wind was too bad, but we didn’t have to take them up on that. Can’t wait to try it again!

We had a great time! The staff was helpful and friendly, and have a place to leave our car keys and use the restroom before heading out. They also took a minute to talk us through the helpful map of the area which they have hanging right by the loading dock so we'd be familiar with where to go. We booked the SUPs for the full day so we did the mangroves in the morning, which was quite a unique experience. Several hundred yards of narrow, winding cuts (sometimes we had to lay flat on our backs) which finally open up to lagoons, the second one much larger than the first. Took us a little over 2 hours. We came back to the launch place to take a break and eat the lunch we had packed. Then we paddled out again, this time towards the mouth of the channel out to a tiny island with a very small beach and even a little wooden swing set. We relaxed for a bit there before paddling back in, this one was just over an hour including a stop at the island. The weather was perfect, had a wonderful time.

Great experience! From the moment we walked in the door everything was top notch. Perfect customer service and interaction. My wife & I wanted to rent paddle boards 3/22 but the staff advised kayaks due to wind speed and direction. They thoroughly informed us where to go/not go based on conditions. We saw manatee, tarpon, countless fish of all kinds! We came back on Friday 3/25 & used paddle boards with another great in-store & outdoor experience. Price was $30 for double Kayak and $35/paddleboard, WELL WORTH OUR EXPERIENCE! Thanks guys, we’ll be back!

We rented SUPs for the day and got awesome directions to the mangrove tunnels to the lagoon. It was fantastic! One of the best paddles we've ever done. The access from the launch was perfect, the boards were in great condition, the location was incredible. We passed a tour group from Paddle on our way back and the guide pointed out where the manatees were. We hung out for a bit and found them. Incredible! An awesome experience all around.

This was my husband's and my first paddle boarding experience and we loved it! It was a windy day so we had to use a little more muscle but Steven, one of the instructors, had given us such great tips and directions that we felt like Pro's! Brittney at the front register signed us in when we arrived and took the time to attach reinforcement ties to my hat so it wouldn't blow away. 2 thumbs up for customer service. They both went over and above to help us and we will definitely come back to "Paddle! The Florida Keys" again during our next visit. We felt we picked the right place as paddling through the mangrove was superb. It gave us a chance to relax, explore, and take some fun pictures. I highly recommend bringing or purchasing a waterproof cell phone case to hang around your neck. I wore water shoes, my husband bare feet. Wear long sleeves if you tend to burn in the sun and sunscreen. Follow the current when you can and have fun! Great place!

We had such a great time kayaking with Brittany. She was an excellent tour guide, explaining (seriously, but with an awesome sense of humor) the surrounding nature, the wildlife we could see, and the wildlife we did see. She took pics of all of us with the wildlife and the natural surroundings and even provided tips on local eateries and places to go. Couldn't have asked for a better guide or a better experience. We saw manatees, tons of different species of fish and plenty of birds. We would recommend PADDLE to anyone looking for a place to kayak or paddle board in the area!

We actually paid a launch $10 launch fee to have great access to use our own SUP’s and were given maps and were able to rinse off and pack our gear after. ( they also had very nice equipment if one wants to rent) This is one of four places we have paddle boarded this trip, so far, but hands down the best so far! Will probably do this once more this trip. Also ran into a guide while out paddling, who caught a snake and showed us and taught us how to catch the crabs for a photo. Best experience of trip in mangroves so far!

So much fun as first time paddle boarders. We have a 12 year old daughter... amazing trip through the mangroves. Would definitely do it again!!!

My husband and I showed up to Paddle the Florida Keys without a call or reservation - not usually our style, but we had been waiting for the best day (weather-wise) to learn to stand up paddleboard (SUP). When we stopped by, Scott welcomed us to the store and was very helpful. He reviewed the basics with us and assessed the best option for us based on our prior paddling experience. Scott outfitted us with all of the necessary SUP equipment and we had a great time paddling in and out of the mangroves for nearly three hours. Our SUP experience was the highlight of our FL trip - would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

We were visiting Islamorada for a week and wanted to rent two stand up paddle boards. Paddle the keys made it so easy for us. They delivered the boards to our beach so we didn’t have to try to figure out how to get the boards to the house. They were such great quality. I would recommend Paddle the Keys to anyone. Love them! I have my own board but go here with friends so they can rent a SUP and go out with me. They people who work here are the best! They are relaxed and friendly and willing to make sure you are comfortable on your board. Lots of nice clothing in the store as well. Most importantly, BEST PRICES AROUND!!!

We have been paddling there for so many weekends, we feel like part of the family already. We get there, get the boards, lifejackets and rows, and... paddling all day long until the daylight is almost gone, and back to shore. The place is fantastic, the guys at the store are amazing, Scott always very helpful and nice. It is cool you don't have to worry about the time running, since the rate is for the whole day. But it is not just the best rate in the Keys, it is all, this place has it all... Proof of that is that we went there not less than 20 times already and we are not bored of the same place, so simple.

This was a highlight of our trip to the Keys! The staff was exceptionally helpful and really went above and beyond. This was my first time on a paddle board and David paddled with me from the creek in front of the shop all the way under the bridge to the left. He also gave me tips and pointers on technique. I didn't get a chance to thank him (I was too busy concentrating on not falling off the board) so I'm thanking him here! Please make sure he knows how helpful he was and how much I appreciate his help! In terms of price this was a super affordable place to rent a paddle board and kayak. It was a great value. The all day rental price was the same that many places charge for just 2 hours. Add to that an amazing staff and you've got the best place to paddle board or kayak in the Keys. Finally, the guy at the counter was super helpful. He recommended a waterproof case for our cameras and we were able to capture some awesome photos. Also one of the female tour guides also went above and beyond. She showed me paddling techniques that I will utilize going forward. We will certainly stop in for another paddle trip next time we're in the Keys. Thank you for an awesome experience!

We love Paddle in the Keys. We have gone there for the past three years during spring break. They have great boards and kayaks. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They give us the best tips with regards to the tides and where to find the best sea life.

We had great fun SUP here. Judy was extremely helpful and welcoming. Great route suggestion, we saw lots of wildlife - ray crabs lots of fish and birds. I highly recommend.

We did an all-day rental and were able to get a local resident discount. The staff was very easygoing, but also professional. It was my first time trying stand up paddle boarding and the staff put me at ease. Our instructor gave us a short but thorough lesson and launched us on our way. One thing I would have appreciated was a map or more guidance on some areas to explore. The shop also has lots of cute things and it's next door to a little outdoor bar where we relaxed after our adventure.

Great price for a full day paddleboard rental! We took our boards through the mangrove area and it was beautiful. At times the water looked like glass. Such a relaxing day. The staff at PADDLE! was extremely helpful with telling us where to go and the equipment was all top of the line. I will definitely rent from them again the next time I'm in the Keys.

We had the most amazing time! Staff was super helpful and advised to a few things we might want to pick up such as polarized sunglasses. Those plus much more are available in the store - wish we would've gotten the waterproof phone case too. (Get one if you can, you'll want to take photos!). Rates were very affordable, especially for an entire day. We took 2 trips out, with a lunch break in between at the small bar next door that serves stone crab claws. First trip was into the mangrove tunnels -- what an awesome experience! Second trip was more into the ocean. Light boat traffic, clear water, absolutely beautiful. Saw sharks, sting rays and tons of fish. This was our favorite day of our entire trip -- Very highly recommend!!

I SUP race, I’m use to nice quality equipment and enjoyed the 14’x27” race board and the light weight paddle. Also I’m a big fan of the Florida Keys. I love PADDLE! It was a great place to launch,easy floating dock on a quiet canal with easy access to more open waters. Little boat traffic. Lots of protection from whichever way the winds blow and knowledgeable advice from Scott Baste and Devon, on where and how you should navigate the conditions. Very scenic with porpoises, manatee and clear water. The day rates were great so we were able to go out every day of our stay! I bought Sup gloves, 2 high performance Sup shirts to protect from sun and provide visibility ,and a great hat and towel- the store has an awesome selection! Scott has a new 12.6’x 25 “ Sic Race board on sale for $1700.00 that I love!!

My son and I have a wonderful time paddleboarding. Unfortunately we only had 2 hours to spare but the rental was for the whole day. We saw lots of fish near the mangroves and manatees in the canals. Great fun!

Beautiful place to canoe and paddle, surrounded by nature, in the middle of the Mangrove and by the sea. Abundant wildlife: birds, fish (sharks). Mike and Sarah were very friendly and helpful. Very reasonable price. Small restaurant nearby: kitchen made on site with fresh seafood. Ideal to spend a whole day. We highly recommend this place.
