Everglades Tour With Professional Tourguide Inclusive Pickup

ANIMAL CRUELTY The boat tour in the Everglades was amazing. We saw 3 alligators in the wild, and lots of birds and wildlife including vultures. Really cool boat trip. However, the second half of the trip totally ruined it, because of the animal cruelty. Alligator show with loads of poor alligators cramped into one enclosure for the show. The presenter made it all about himself “looking cool and brave” while holding the poor alligator and forcing him into positions. Then the other animal enclosures including reptiles and even a FOX!? Poor thing was cramped in a tiny cage. Every single animal looked distressed and sad, because of their HORRENDOUS environment and tiny depressing enclosures. Absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting how you can treat animals this way. Such a shame. Do not get a photo taken with the poor baby alligator who’s forced and held like a baby. As well as the snake. If it was just the boat trip it would have got 5 stars. The pick up from banana joes tours was good. Comfortable ride and friendly driver.

The whole experience from booking to transportation to Everglades was seamless. We got to see 5 gators so it was totally worth it.

Christian was very helpful and had a lot of knowledge of the Everglades and within it. On the way on the bus he had print outs of the different ecosystems and gators. Overall he and all the staff were very helpful.

This was a great tour. The organisation was perfect and smooth. We were told the night before what time we will get collected the following day and Christian was on time for collection. We were collected at our AirBNB in Miami by Hagen and had whole bus to ourselves just 6 of us. He was so informative telling us about the area on the way, examples and things to show us like samples of snake skins and alligator skulls etc. being a small group he stopped at some places we did not expect and it was fantastic. The airboat ride again just us 6 it was amazing you must do it!!! We had just been on weeks cruise and this topped it !

Great tour, and Christian is the best! He ensured we were picked up and dropped off safely, and his knowledge of the Everglades and crocodiles was impressive. He made the entire experience easy, enjoyable, and informative. Highly recommend touring with Christian! Also Jef the boat ride captain was funny and great, saw loads of animals and the speed part of it was super fun!

Christian was a very friendly guide. He was very accommodating to all of the guests as he picked us up in our various locations. This is a good choice if you want a taste of the Everglades and to see a few alligators while visiting Miami and still have half a day to get to the beach or any other activity. You can do this on your own with a rental car or probably with a less expensive tour group but the individual pick up and drop off, the small group vibe, and having a guide dedicated to watching out for you is worth every penny.

We got to see two alligators in the wild! Cristian gave an informative lecture on the drive to the Galdes and Nadib was a great captain. The hotel pickup and drop off was so convenient and easy. Fan boats are quite loud in the moments we went fast but otherwise not too bad. We opted out of the baby gator hold and chatted more about gators with Alex. So educational! Great way to see the Everglades!

Excellent trip!! Pick up from hotel was worry free, received text messages from driver 30 mins before pick up. Airboat ride was fun and the gator show afterwards was also good. The family loved it and we was back at our hotel early afternoon so didn’t take up all day.

Rusland was an amazing tour guide with loads of facts on Miami. The everglades was everything we could hope for and we got to see many gators.

We had Dominik as our tour guide to the Everglades this morning with Banana Joe Tours, pick up from our hotel was on time and Dom greeted us with a big smile despite the early time! The ride to the Everglades felt really quick as Dom kept us entertained and informed with loads of facts about Miami, the Everglades and the alligators. Everglades Holiday Park was great as well, hour long airboat tour, alligator show and we had a picture with a baby alligator! Dom was always around to keep us in the right place and on schedule. Bus was lovely, comfortable and air-conditioned. Highly recommend Banana Joe tours and Dominik especially, thanks Dom!

Had a great tour with Christian. Lots of good information about the Everglades. Saw lots of gators during the airboat ride - which I now know is just one of the four types of crocodilia!

It is a shame I cannot give more stars. The driver/tour guide and airboat tour guide were incredible and, even though we only saw 1 gator, we had fun and they did a great job. My lack of stars review comes from the interaction with whomever answers emails/internet communication. The phone # listed is only a recording telling you that if you need to speak to someone you have to request that via email. When it was late in the day prior to our tour, I emailed and did not get a response, so I chatted on instagram and was immediately met with very rude, all caps, questioning responses. I simply let them know that I hadn't heard anything and my tour was the next day and whoever responded told me I need to "read what I book", which was interesting because no information was EVER sent to read about what I had booked. Communication is terrible. I originally asked if I could know the time of the tour since I was only in town a few days and wanted to book other things and that response was such that I was basically wasting their time and it'll be in the morning and I just needed to wait. When I responded that I did not receive anything that I could read for details, they said "so, did you receive and open this?!" as if I would have a need to lie to them about receiving an email. All very accusatory and confrontational. Their communication team needs a lesson in customer service, for sure. If you want a specific time or communication, you will not get it with banana joes. Like I said, the tour ended up being great, but they are not nice when it comes to getting any info. I simply wanted to be sure everything was set so I didn't get up early on vacation for nothing, and responses, once received, were such that, in my customer service management role, I would be writing employees up. They also obviously researched my IG name with who made the payment as they directly referred to my husband in their public IG response (I'd used a cc with his name), so he got called out publicly and he didn't even know I was trying to verify the next day's activities. Unprofessional and disappointing. With the price of the tours, they can afford to hire someone to answer phones and be nice to paying customers .

Great tour - well worth a ticket while in Miami! Dominik was a great tour guide, very knowledgable and helpful. Great opportunity to see wildlife you wouldn’t elsewhere.

Fun time just wish the ride there and back wasn’t almost 2 hours each way wasted a lot of time ! Trip was fun but the 1.5 hrs each way is insane

Had to see the Everglades because I was in the area. One more item off the list. Was not as exhilarating as I expected. But we did see alligators.

The tour was cancelled The day before. Just an e-mail where i was informed that i would have a refund and stop. A tour booked a month in advance. We were on a cruise desembarkation day and Had The flight at night. No more answers at my e-mails and no solution found. I took anyway a trip for everglades and guess what?! The banana joe van was there, carring other guests. Inconvenient May happens but this management was terrible.

Our tourguide Hagen was amazing. He picked us up at our AirBnB and told us interesting facts about Miami and the Everglades on our way to the Everglades. After the tour, he brought us back to our AirBnB and gave us a lot of insights on Miami. We will definitely book another tour with him! Highly recommend it!

The banana Joe safari to the Indian resort in the Everglades is absolutley top! The guide has much knowledge, on the trip I saw a big part of the vast Everglades' fauna and got into touch with the Indian. 5 stars!

In advance of the tour, the exact meeting point at the Miami cruise port was arranged via WhatsApp. Our guide Hagen arrived on time and the tour started with a lot of input during the drive to the Everglades. Small group and 2 boats that offered plenty of space for a 60-minute ride led by local Miccosukee Indians. Many animals, esp. Alligators seen and also visited the tribe's visitor center with a restaurant and restrooms. Quite spontaneously, the entire minibus decided to continue the day with Hagen and also book the Miami city tour. Here, too, we visited super interesting spots from an insider alongside the must-see sights. Many thanks for the super eventful day in Miami. You cannot accomplish more between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

Was a bit of sowing, no action as done before but now only a bit of sailing back and forth on straight channels, are also dug by people. So no mangrove (that's really the best) show afterwards (always) (by the way).

Hagen was our tour guide - the best we have ever had. !!! We can only recommend it.
