The overall tour I would give a 5, as far as experiencing the everglades seeing the alligators, and beauty of the area. The Captain I would give a 2. I have never wanted to get off a boat so bad by the end of this trip. Acceleration every 2 seconds, so you can speak 2 or 3 words, then accelerate again constantly is agonizing. Saying the same thing over and over (flight attendants, clear the cabin for takeoff) does not make it funny. The acceleration of the air boat is what makes it fun, we had 3/4 times the boat sped up lasting about a minute or less before back to the 3 second intervals. Drive, stop for a few minutes give us the information then drive again.

We went at the wrong time of day, but our Captain was good and woke some up for us. He was amazing and we got to see 4 little 6 footers and 1 big 10+footer. He was a big mama jama. So glad we took the time to go on this airboat ride in the Everglades. Also the gator boy show was very informative. Thanks for a great time.
We did this tour on the last day of our holiday after leaving our cruise ship and before heading to the airport. It was organised by our cruise operator and was a good way to spend a few hours. The airboat ride was something which was on my bucket list and definitely didn't disappoint. We only saw one alligator but the whole ride was just so exhilarating and would loved to have had longer than 30 minutes but wow what a thrill! The park as a whole is very basic and you are herded around a little too much, but then we were limited on time so maybe you could see a bit more if you had the time! The talk and show were very informative and is lovely to hear how the gators are rescued and to be able to see them close up and of course it ends in the shop. We had a bacon bagel which was tasty and pretty reasonably priced and there were more option on the menu. Overall it was a pretty good way to spend a couple of hours and I am glad we made the visit to see this place, especially for the boat ride.
Ana was amazing! So funny and kind! Five stars!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ana was AWESOME! Her back-and-forth with her grandfather in the boat behind us made the ride hilarious and so much fun. Highly recommend!
Overall enjoyed experience. The experience would value from improving communication with guests upon arrival at the entrance point or signage pointing to the location where guests may find this information.
This is an ok experience if you have never been to the everglades. The physical condition was disappointing as the rest rooms were dirty and smelly and you could smell them during the gator show. The staff was wonderful, friendly and informative. Capt. Ana was VERY entertaining and delivered a high quality tour performance. I would go back just to have her interactive tour again.
HARD PASS!!! PLEASE SKIP!!! They should post the FACTS on their website! We did the tour 10/10/26, 0930 Boat number 2. WE SAW NO, NO ALLIGATORS! What they don’t tell you, is even though it is a hour tour, they ONLY had access to 1 square mile of water. They ONLY, at most see (8) alligators; they named them. They should put that on the website, I would have not gone at all! WE SAW ZERO ALLIGATORS, then their 10 minutes stupid ALLIGATOR SHOW, told us they catch alligators, harvest them and sell as Gator Bites, right next to the gift shop the Tour guide said. Again, put the facts on your website, $155 for a 10 minutes alligator show which sucked and an hour boat ride, BORING! Lastly, there boats have a front glass which they never clean and you can not see out of, cooks you like a Magnifier glass. HARD PASS, HO WITH ANOTHER OPERATOR in the area, this is a tourist trap!!!!!
Captain Ana was the best around!
Our tour was great, we saw a few gators, birds (Twister and Jerry) and a turtle. Our Captain was amazing! She was knowledgeable and fun. When you book try to request Captain Ana. Thanks so much for a great time Captain Ana
Fantastic airboat tour and loved holding the little baby gator!
Really nice experience with a great guide! It had been raining pretty hard that morning but we managed to have a really good time anyway and didn't get too wet. Had some nice speed areas and some great views of some majestic alligators.
Anna was great! We had a wonderful trip. Was my 71st Birthday
Ana was amazing, friendly, informative and totally brilliant! Highly Recommend!
Had a fantastic morning trip out on the Hydrofoil. We saw quite a few swamp puppies ( as they call them). Overall a very interesting and enjoyable trip.
My son really enjoyed the airboat and Mike was an excellent skipper who didn't only talk about the alligators but all aspects of the eco system. We did see a couple of alligators. It was very hot so I don't blame them for keeping cool. We watched the alligator show with Devin whom I did believe genuinely cares about the alligators and protecting them. I didn't realise nuisance alligators can be legally killed in Florida and I find that so sad. I should have asked at the time but I am not sure if the alligators are kept in the pit all the time or if they spend time elsewhere and are rotated and the albino alligators as where they were housed on the day seemed small but I am no expert. I would recommend the experience though as it was interesting.
Great experience about 20 minutes outside of Fort Lauderdale. We seen many birds and a few alligators today. The kids enjoyed the reptile adventure and up and close with the alligators and snakes. Weather was amazing and our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable.
The airboat ride with Captain Castle was amazing and very informative! The gator show and getting to hold the baby gator and snake was super fun too!
We were disappointed with our experience. If you book the animal encounter for children, be aware that an adult must accompany each child and pay an additional fee. This was not clear to us when booking, so we were surprised by the extra cost upon arrival. I also would not recommend paying extra for the animal encounter. The alligator show already provides an opportunity to see and learn about the animals, and for about $10 you can hold an alligator during the show. In our opinion, the add-on was simply not worth the money. Be prepared for weather delays as well. They continued to operate in thunder and lightning conditions, with significant waiting while they checked the weather. It felt like the priority was keeping the tour running rather than providing a good customer experience. We also had an issue and found the management response disappointing. Although we were told the manager was onsite, she did not come out to speak with us and instead left staff to handle the situation. Unfortunately, the staff did not seem well equipped to deal with customer concerns or conflict. The airboat ride itself was just okay. There are better airboat experiences in Florida. The highlight was definitely the very knowledgeable alligator trainer after the ride—he was excellent, informative, and clearly passionate about what he does. That was by far the best part of our visit. Overall, I would not recommend this experience. Read the fine print carefully and think twice before paying for the animal encounter add-on.
Captain Chaos was the absolute best. His knowledge and ability to find the gators was truly a great experience.
It was a great experience and the Captain Adelan was great and funny! It was a beautiful day and time
Booked through hotel concierge Ira met us on time and was a delightful driver and host from start to finish. The boat tour was good albeit very hot and we saw a lot of gators. Going early worked well for us.
Good mix of excitement and fear. Captain Jeff was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. We saw about six alligators. We took a taxi from Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal to the park which was about $85. On the way back we took an Uber and it was about $45. It takes about 30 minutes.
About 15 years ago, we went to the middle of the Everglades and didn’t see one animal. We saw 4 gators and an alligator nest, so I was very happy with this place. Airboat ride was pretty pleasant. We did the animal encounter which was fun. A little on the pricey side. Liked the alligator show. Tour guides need to get Venmo.
Recommend hour vs 1/2 hour ride. We saw alligators, birds, turtles, lizards. Very informative and fun ride
Visited in February 2026. We paid a little extra for transport to & from our hotel on Collins Avenue, South Beach, Miami. Our driver was punctual and very friendly and the transport was an air conditioned Mercedes mini-bus, which was very comfy. The driver collected a few more passenger along the way and we arrived in good time. When we booked, we were offered an early morning or early afternoon ticket. We went for the morning ticket & we are really glad we did this as the sun & heat are not as intense and the park was free from any long queues when we arrived, so we were on our airboat within 40-minutes of arrival. The boat tour is around an hour and commentary is provided by the Captain, who was very funny. When we arrived back, we then went to the Live Alligator Show which lasts around 20-minutes, performed by the Gator Boys Alligator Rescue team. This was a good show. We then had time to visit the gift store before departing back to our hotel.
Okay so we were very fortunate as our hotel booked these direct for us. They collected us from the hotel directly. So no walking only issue here is you need a us number. Luckily our hotel guy was able to offer his. We were picked up and transported with two other groups. When we got there it is a holiday park, lots to do and see. However we were here for alligators and that's what we got. We got some intel on alligator Alley a strip of road that if you break down at night then advice is DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR CAR! As no one will come due to the Alligators. You have to wait till morning. So the guide was excellent. The airboat tour was fantastic and they were very efficient getting people on and off the boats. We were with Drew and boat Renegade. It was fantastic, definitely a bucket list activity in the everglades. Next part was the alligator show by one of the Gator boys who's show is still available on Animal Planet he explained that if you get an alligator in your swimming pool it's free for someone to come trap and kill. However any other types of bugs or wildlife you will end up paying hundreds of dollars. Crazy! But fascinating. We had a great time here. Food was reasonably priced as well. One tip is I'd take your own water bottle to refill. Definitely go early morning to beat the heat as well.
The airboat ride would have been nicer with more speed especially since there wasn't that much wildlife to see. The gator show wasn't worth seeing. The van driver, Walter was prompt at pickup and return. I would not recommend this tour to friends or family, not worth the cost.
We totally enjoyed our tour The boat goes sooo fast. The boat captain would occasionally slow down so we could enjoy the scenery, birds, and see the crocodiles. Some of the crocs were on the shore but there were some in the water with their eyes peaking out at you.
Very commercialized. I would recommend driving a little further and finding a smaller venue. You can still see all the telephone wires. The guide was 5 stars, great personality, very knowledgeable. Same with the guy who performed the show, great personality, knowledgeable. We only saw about 10 gators, understanding its mating season and they hide. I do believe would see more if we were deeper into the glades. We did one a few years ago that was deeper in the glades, in January so also not mating season. It was also a smaller venue and we saw probably a hundred gators. Our driver to and from the hotel, Ira, was amazing. Super helpful throughout the trip. As for the gift shop, 0 stars. I bought my niece an overpriced small stuffed gator for $32, stepped outside and realized some of the stuffing coming out of it and asked for an exchange. The woman refused, told me no refunds or exchanges. I switched them without her permission anyway but the audacity of this woman was simply outrageous. We had a group of 12, with the tips and other purchases we spent well over $1,000 and she expected my niece to go home with a ripped stuffed animal.
I had Devon as the presenter in the Alligator Rescue show that came with the tickets. He was super nice, quite funny, and evidently knew a ton about alligators and had no hesitation at all while dealing with them. Clearly a thoughtful guy who knew what he was doing and made it fun for the audience. Also had the Animal Encounter with Ethan, who was a great guy and clearly had a knack for animals. Gave a very informative presentation on each animal before photo ops and had a kind soul all round. Great experience in summary!
Not worth it. The"ride" thru the everglades was about 2 minutes, then we spent about 45 minutes just drifting iand circling in one place. Then 2 minute ride back. We spent almost the entire time in a canal, which according to the boat captain was not even part of the everglades! Would not recommend
Great boat trip, fun side activities, kids loved it, love the Everglades even more
Our carribean cruise docked at 6am and with our flights at 5pm from MIA we decided to go on the Airboat ride and see the gator show. We had Captain Nadim who did a great job on a 3O minute tour that had the excitement of a fast airboat sprint and slow and steady sections to see wildlife that included gators (5 or 6), vultures (black and turkey), fish, turtles and even a couple of osprey. I could have spent several hours on the boat, there was a lot to see and Captain Nadim was knowledgeable and friendly. Gator show was informative and showed the animals up close.
Fabulous experience! Nadim was our pilot, and he was outstanding! You can see his love and respect for the animals and plants. We saw around 10 alligators. You could never see these animals in their natural habitats any other way. Highlight of our trip!!
Lots of alligators to see. A few birds, 1 turtle
Great experience. Good to see
We had an incredible experience at Everglades Holiday Park! Our airboat tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Captain Victor was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, entertaining, and clearly passionate about the Everglades and its wildlife. He made the tour both fun and educational, taking the time to point out animals and share interesting facts along the way. We were lucky enough to see multiple alligators in their natural habitat, and one of the most memorable moments was watching an osprey perched in a tree enjoying its freshly caught fish. Seeing wildlife like that up close was truly unforgettable. If you’re visiting South Florida, I highly recommend taking a tour here. Ask for Captain Victor if you can—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for such an amazing adventure!
The tour is a great experience for families and well organized. I wish the tour was a bit longer and we saw more wildlife. Tour guides rely on tips for pay.
Impressed by the experience and knowledge of Captain Chaos! It was a very hot day and didn’t see a lot of gators but we were still able to find some! Fabulous is what I am going to say!
DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Never in my life have I been mistreated by a business like I did here. I was told I would be picked up from my hotel at 8:55 and at 8:25 I got a call saying that my driver is waiting for me. I explained that I was told 8:55 and my girlfriend isn’t done getting ready. I was told “Well everyone else is waiting for you so get here as fast as you can”. Once we got to the van our driver Mark told us everyone has been waiting for us and I explained to him that we were told 8:55 and he said “somebody was lying to him” either the company or me. Once we got to the park Mark told us we had 30 minutes to use the restroom and walk around until our boat ride. I went to use the restroom and as I was walking out I observed Mark yelling at my girlfriend and my girlfriend told me that they lied about it being 30 minutes. Mark then began to yell at me telling me to get to the boat. As I walked to the boat Mark continued to yell at me telling me to hurry up (I’m 28 and I run everyday so I already walk fairly quick). After the boat ride I told Mark NEVER to yell at my girlfriend or any women in general and NEVER to yell at another man because that’s disrespectful and his Mother taught him better than that. Mark eventually apologized but refused to take me to his manager because his manager will not apologize and just blame me even though I did nothing wrong. He also states that his job is already on the line and if I talk to the manager he will get fired. After the alligator show we were also rushed to get back onto the van to go back to our hotel.
Great Experience! Captain Anna (Pink Boat), Great Character, Witty, Passionate, and Knowledgeable. Very Enjoyable & Educational Trip! 👍
The experience was enjoyable overall; however, it felt a bit unorganized. There was a lot of standing around without a clear flow of events. In 100-degree weather, having people sit and wait for extended periods became frustrating. Better organization and a more efficient schedule would have made the experience much more enjoyable.
Nice and organized place. We had captain Nadiem, he was very friendly and informative. Loved the care of the staff, food, and the essentials we could find at the shop. Great place! The home made ice cream was fantastic!
The staff was friendly and helpful. That was it. You can’t even imagine how disappointing the boat ride was after driving all the way down to the Everglades. I expected the airport to go flashing through the marshes at 40+ miles an hour seeing all kinds of wildlife alligators snakes. The air went so slow though a man-made canal. We saw two tiny alligators, and three birds. And one of the alligators looked fake. We can see the dock that we took off from during the whole tour. Several kids slept through the whole airport ride. There was absolutely nothing going on.
Bring water and wear a hat (especially for long hair ladies) and sunblock. Try the gator bites - they are divine. Might want hearing protection, fan boats can get loud.
Don't go when it's hot. The tour operator couldn't go more than a moderate crawl because of the "low water level" so that the passengers got almost no breeze.
Airboat ride was great just wish it was longer and more separated from the other airboats. We did see gators so that was awesome. Our captain, Nadim, was great! The alligator talk was informative but we expected more interaction with the gators so weren’t impressed with it. Gift shop had a good variety of souvenirs and snacks. Wish we would have had more time to eat and try the gator bites. Our bus driver and guide p(Anthony) were also awesome!
Had a great time. Our guide, Nasim, we informative and funny - get him if you can.
Captain Navim was fantastic- gave a really fun boat tour plus helped my 80yo mom out of the boat with a lot of care. That part was fantastic- the excursion overall, though, was meh. A “gator show” where they packed people into bleachers where we all roasted was not worth it.
