Everglades Express From Miami With Safari Airboat Ride

Excellent experience, we were picked up at the hotel by Walker who was a very pleasant guide indeed and extremely knowledgeable. He drove us to the Everglades in a luxury vehicle, his driving was very smooth indeed. Once we arrived at the wildlife park, he was our guide and provided lots of information on the alligators/turtles/birds etc. A very enjoyable day indeed.

Amazing. Every though it was the bad season because there is high water so the aligators are happy cooling off at the bottom of the river, the tour was excellent, convenient pickup, guide had a great eye for spotting gators, the show was interesting and the boat ride was fast and loud and fun as expected. The landscape was incredible.

We paid for what we thought was a "small group" excursion with no more that 7 people. The picture of the boat even shows a small boat. when they say "no more than 7" they actually mean no more than 7 people in the shuttle/car. You are then put on a big boat that actually only costs around $50/person (if you were to buy the ticket there). Best to skip this provider and just either drive/ride share to the location. The owner offered us a 20% discount after we majorly complained. whopee. We have yet to get that refund. This company needs to take a class on truth in advertising. Very deceptive

It was a very fun experience and despite the heat, all was enjoyable. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is that on the boat journey there was a high chance you could get a bad seat as if you were in the middle of the boat, the alligators were too far away to see, or if you did see them, it wouldn’t be close up; whereas being on the edge meant you could see the gators up close and could take quality photos of them.

Really good trip which exceeded expectations and the guide was fantastic

A ride worth the ride! Got picked up early at hotel in Miami. Not traffic heading out west to the Everglades. Our tour guide Rolando was awesome, and turned what should have just been a transfer into a real informative tour of the city. Only disappointment was that the boat at the tour site was large (description by aviator said “no more than 7”…per row on the air boat I guess).. saw plenty of gators, and the gator show after was neat. On the way back to South Beach Jonaldo suggested we try Little Havana because it wasn’t much of a beach day. Was one of the highlights of our trip. Spent a little more, but got door to door service and extras that made it worth it!

We were assigned the same guide on our drive to and from the Everglades Park. It was very knowledgeable and shared a lot about the area and give us some great tourist tips. Rolando was an excellent guy would be happy to work with him again. Be prepared for any kind of weather! Overall worthwhile excursion highly recommended

We really enjoyed this tour of the everglades that we extended by adding a city tour of Miami after. Our tour guide, Walker, was absolutely outstanding — He had an infectious love for history and the city. Very Knowledgeable, engaging and accommodating. Best tour guide I have had in years! Highly recommend this tour!

It was wonderful to be picked up at my hotel. The everglades was a great way to spend a couple of hours. My pick up was right on time. The tour guide dropped me off in town so I could spend a few more hours out visiting the city. That was greatly appreciated!!

Antonio was amazing! He spent so much time sharing all sorts of information about the Everglades, it’s history, it’s ecosystem, and many interesting details about the early inhabitants of the land, and more! We were fascinated by his knowledge and so thrilled with all he had to teach us. He even stood in line for us while we used the restrooms, was there when we returned from the exciting airboat ride, and took us on a private nature walk where he had spotted mama alligator and her babies that many other visitors passed by without noticing. It was such a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed the experience very much. It was nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Walker was our driver. He was great; friendly and knowledgeable about Miami and the sights along the way. At the park he took us to see a mama and her baby alligators, which we may have missed had he not been with us. He even suggested a yummy place to stop for lunch on the way back. A great time was had by all!

They did not pick up from our hotel but the shuttle driver was very knowledgeable about the city. He made the drive entertaining. The boat ride was fun and the Everglades beautiful!

Great tour of the Everglades Airboat ride was awesome. Rolando, our tour guide, knew a lot about the history of Miami, the Everglades, the state of Florida and the Keys. A great day.

Antonio was great. He found us in our hotel (waiting for our kids) and provided a super engaging and informative tour explaining the history of Miami including tons of information about alligators. We are from the Bay Area and were a bit worried about the length of the nature walk/boat ride (people in the bay can be a little intense with hikes etc) - not to worry. Everything was timed perfectly and you do not have to be in great shape. The guides in the park were friendly and also full of information. My daughters are 13 and 15 - and we all loved Miami - but this was definitely the highlight.

Great quick trip to see the Everglades! The boat ride was fun and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Everglades wildlife. Was really nice having someone who could point out all the best spots.

good experience, the airboat ride was really fun and the nature walk was really cool saw a gator with her babies. went to grab a bite to eat we got the call of the wild which includes gator bites, catfish bites, frog legs and fries and got one water and our total was $39 plus they add a $7 service charge so our total was $46 all together when i went up to pay i gave them $60 and they gave $7 back instead of $14 when we talk to the lady on the register she said if you pay with cash we automatically take $7 service charge but they already did so we ask for our receipt back and she didn’t want to but another lady came back and gave it to us and when i was trying to show her she took $14 tip instead of just $7 she offered to give us $1 to walk away, the other lady gave us our $7 back but if the lady on the register wasn’t trying to pull a fast one and actually let us explain we would’ve definitely given over $7 but that was not our best experience. the rest of the tour was great. definitely would come back again maybe not to eat though.

A fantastic experience if you want to get out of the city for a short time one of the highlights was definitely Ronaldo who drove the bus from the hotel as his knowledge was fascinating about the surrounding area and Miami itself a true delight of the trip but of course the alligators and wildlife was beautiful really well worth the trip and we’ll do it again

We had a great experience from the start to the end. We were picked up and dropped off by Orlando who shared lots of history of Miami. He made sure we got to the right spots and allowed for as much time as we needed at the park. We enjoyed a show, was able to walk the park and then had a great airboat guide take us through the Everglades. He made sure to turn around and allow people to see the alligators when we spotted them. We saw 4-5 during the ride and a few more on the property

My guide Orlando was fantastic! He brought Cuban coffee for the drive, pointed out baby alligators, and the airboat was so cool!!

The guide and his companion were really great! The experience itself is awesome, everything I was imagining it to be. You really get a feel of this nature environment. November was a great time to see some alligators ;)

I recently joined a small-group Everglades airboat tour and had a wonderful experience. Walker, our guide, picked me up from my hotel, making the journey to the Everglades both easy and informative. The airboat ride was a highlight, getting close to the habitat. We had the opportunity to observe several alligators in their natural habitat, which was exciting. Additionally, the birdwatching was exceptional, with sightings of various species adding to the richness of the experience. After the ride, Walker ensured we had a comprehensive understanding of the area by guiding me through the reptile exhibits and sharing insightful information about the local ecosystem. For anyone seeking a well-organised and informative tour of the Everglades, I highly recommend this experience.

We picked up from our hotel in South Beach and our Walker guide was happy to talk to us about the history of the area and give us lots of interesting information. It took about an hour to get there but it was a lovely journey in an air-conditioned car. There was a short introduction to the park, an alligator info session and then a 50 minute air boat ride. Ride was wonderful, we saw lots of interesting wildlife including alligators. We did the wildlife trail which was really nice. On the way back we stopped at a Cuban Café that the guy recommended and had an amazing lunch although this section was completely optional. Overall, a really brilliant day and well worth choosing this company.

Excellent experience in all respects… recommended…..was especially nice to be picked up and returned to our hotel in a Lincoln Navigator with a friendly, informative and safe driver….

The driver/guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel, which was very helpful in a big city with expensive taxis. I rode in an airboat and saw birds and alligators. The scenery was incredible. It was an excellent experience.

The driver was lovely. He was so knowledgeable. He was helpful and friendly! The trio its self was amazing, we saw so many alligators. The people in the alligator trip were so good. Can’t recommend this trip enough!

Walker was an excellent guide, only 3 of us and well worth every penny. Interesting, knowledgeable and so well spoken and easy to get on with.

my wife and I were picked up on time by Walker Harris at Miami South Beach. We had informed ourselves in advance and definitely did not want to go to HolidayPark. This tour leads to Safari Park, which is much more in line with our expectations, as less touristy. Walker is an excellent TourGuide, and he can communicate with good easy English. We didn’t really realize it was an exclusive transfer due to the tour description. We were the only ones picked up by Walker. The hour's drive passed very quickly, we had good conversations with the guide. The airboat trip met our expectations: about 10 alligators in March and sometimes fast-paced trips over the Sawgrass. Afterwards, we went to eat Cuban Frita with Walker. By the way: This food was our favorite during our three week stay. So: If you want to be picked up from Miami Beach and take an airboat tour, you should definitely book this tour. Because she was suuper, we couldn't have imagined better. One of our highlights of the holiday, we are thrilled, also because of Walker.

Picking up in Miami was straightforward and the tour guide was very friendly and we were able to talk very well during the ride. I also liked the airboat ride, but could have been a bit longer for the price. Overall, however, I was satisfied.
