Everglades Eco Tour Small Group, Up To 2 Islands & Vip Transport

The tour was great. Max is a great guide. Pickup was exactly on time and the actual tour from the Miccosukee guide was really interesting with plenty of wildlife to see including Alligators.

The destination and route on the ride was great we didn’t see another boat out there which is different from the other tours. Our guide had a heavy accent and we could only understand half of what he narrated. Also, the boat ride is relatively short so a lot of serving for a short experience.

We had a wonderful experience in the Everglades. The guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about where to find his friends the gators. The driver talked a little too much but could speak multiple languages. My daughter especially liked the fact that it was eco-friendly

100% recommend! Max, our guide and driver, was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable and really made an effort to make our trip great. The airboat driver was amazing too. We had a fantastic ride and saw the beautiful grasslands, alligators and birds. We felt totally safe on the boat, which held 9 passengers and ear defenders were provided (the boat is very noisy, but the engine was switched off every time we stopped to see something). It was a truly memorable trip n and I’m delighted we had the opportunity to go.

Totally fantastic experience with Max. He made our trip to Miami so extra special.

We first found Max to transport 16 of us from Miami International to our hotel downtown prior to our cruise. That pick up and ride were fabulous. 11 were in a luxury van; 5 in a luxury SUV. They told us about the city and pointed out landmarks along the way. We also used Max at the end of the trip to kill 8 hours between disembarkation and our flight. They took us on the airboat tour (which was out of this world), stayed with us since we had all of our luggage, and we had some spare time so stopped in Little Havana for lunch on our way to our 4:40 flight out of Fort Lauderdale. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Pickup was right on time and the van was pleasant as was our driver. We had to wait a fair bit longer for the boat tour to begin than I expected however. The tour itself was lovely; many different birds and alligators to see and beautiful views of the Everglades

Max picked us up from our cruise ship port in Miami in his luxury van. We went to an Everglades tour (which was amazing), and then he drove us to the Miami airport. While driving, we requested to go to a specific gas station, and Max very graciously accommodated us. 10/10!!

What can we say - from the minute it started till the minute it ended it was great. The transport turned up right on time, new clean bus with an excellent driver (Max) who could speak so, so many languages. A pleasant drive out to the Everglades with a great commentary given by the driver throughout (in languages for everyone). Once we arrived the Air Boat guide (Tristan) was absolutely fantastic too, taking his time to explain everything to us, showing us many alligators as we made our way between a couple of different islands - giving us to opportunity to get up close to some baby alligators and alligator snapping turtles (not too close to them). The boat ride was great with lots to see. The boat was great, not too big and the seating allowed all persons on board to see everything there was to see. All in all one of the best tours we have been on, we thoroughly recommend this to everyone.

This small group tour by Max allows you unique experiences like seeing islands and actual homes inside the Everglades. Asdie from the fun airboat ride. But more on Max - our flight to Miami delayed due to Christmas rush. Would have forfeited tour. Messaged Max, and he allowed to reschedule. Lost no money and had a wonderful tour of the Everglades.

We booked this small-group airboat adventure because we wanted something more personal than the big 30-seat boats, and it absolutely hit the mark. Pickup from our South Beach hotel was right on time, and our driver, Mass, was fantastic — friendly, funny and fluent in both English and French, keeping everyone entertained during the one-hour ride out to the Everglades. The small group size (around 10 of us) made it feel really relaxed and authentic. We were taken to the Tigertail Airboat Tours dock, where we met our guide — a local Native American guide — who was brilliant. He was passionate about the area, full of fascinating information, and clearly loved what he does. The airboat ride itself was unforgettable. We saw five wild alligators up close and even had the chance to hold a baby gator that the community helps raise and later release into the wild. It never felt commercial or rushed — just a genuine, nature-focused experience that gave us a real taste of the Everglades. If you’re visiting Miami and want an authentic small-group adventure, this is a must-do. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We had a lovely trip and were lucky to see an alligator sunning itself. We were a little disappointed that we were unable to go to the Indian Reservation but our guide made up for it with the new site. The bottles of water were also very welcome. The guide was also very helpful and took three of us to a shop selling Cowboy boots etc that my daughter in law was anxious to visit. The pick up was on time in a large comfortable vehicle. We also picked up another couple at a hotel around the corner. The airboat was open as promised. The guide took us to another more commercial site to show us the other boats and we realised we actually saw a lot more in our open boat than they did in their closed boats.

Max is really a nice guy, he was looking for every chance for us to see alligators and other wild animals on the way, we met and came very close to the alligators on the way to Shark Valley. He knows very well about China even could speaks a little Chinese. If you want go to other area, Max could customize the trip. Anyway very pleasant journey, appreciate it.

I had a great time. Pick up was perfect. Max is very friendly and accomodating adapting to the wishes of the group. I highly recommend.

We tried hard to find an Everglades tour that was respectful.of the environment and we found that with this tour. The airboat ride was great, we were lucky enough to see three alligators which, considering the heat was amazing. It didnt feel overly busy or touristy which we liked. More time to cycle or walkntbe board walk would have been great, although it was probably too hot anyway. Max is very knowledgeable about the area and shared lots of information and insight throughout the trip, he is also a really nice man, a pleasure to spend a few hours with him.

Me and my friend had an amazing experience with Max as guide. He is friendly, social and generous, and was an excellent tourguide who answered all our questions and told us all about Miamis, Everglades and the indian reservations history. We recommend this tour!

Picked up on time at the Downtown hotel, 2 restroom breaks, great boat tour - would love to do it again. We were even dropped off at Miami Beach and thus saved the trip there from Downtown.

We were thrilled with the tour! Even during pickup, Max was ready to pick us up directly at our accommodation. The drive to the Everglades was very comfortable thanks to the great vehicle. On the way, Max provided us with a lot of interesting information about Miami and the Everglades, so the drive flew by. Additionally, there was a stop at a rest area where we could get food, buy souvenirs, or use the restrooms. Although we were informed in advance that there is no guarantee of seeing animals, we were very lucky and were able to marvel at several alligators. On the second island, we even had the opportunity to take a photo with a baby alligator and turtles – a great experience! The entire process was very pleasant, informative, and relaxed. We felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy the tour in an authentic atmosphere. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the Everglades in a personal and uncomplicated way. Many thanks to Max for this great experience!

We participated in the excursion to the Everglades with Max in May 2026. In September 2025, my sister and my mother had already taken the excursion with Max. At that moment, the Indian village was open as well as their land. This time, due to the drought, there was no water left in this region. However, thanks to Max's great professionalism, we went to another area of the Everglades to maximize our chances of seeing alligators (we saw 5!). I recommend Max 100%. First, he comes to pick you up at your home; the transportation is pleasant and in French. Max always provides us with snacks, bottles of water, as well as helmets and mosquito spray. Max also precisely presents the nature and history of the Everglades and Miami. The excursion is simply royal! Thank you, Max. We will return.

Very good experience and above all, I want to thank our private driver Ernesto!! He was the heart of our satisfaction from beginning to end. Very good tour in the everglades, the Indian village was closed, it would have been interesting to consider an alternative rather than the return but other than that, very good tour and I recommend to take it Private so much the experience is more pleasant (to everyone's tastes lol).

Fantastic tour, hotel pickup on time, small group max 14 pax in Italian, as requested. On the way Max gave us a lot of info about Miami and the origin of the Everglades. Arrived at the destination, at a small Indian reality, we boarded the hovercraft run by a wonderful guy, I apologize for not remembering the name, and as described at the time of booking we made 2 stops. Along the way we were able to see several alligators. Great time with Max. The program changed because of the water level in the Everglades but we were warned in advance, great communication. Start with a pick-up in air-conditioned vehicle. The time of the trip we were treated to a lot of information about the city and nature (and in French) really thank you. Arrived at the park, the little touches are pleasure, water, small snack. The perfect return in addition Max was kind enough to drop us off on the way away from our hotel. Result of the highlights on a great day. Thank you.

We did Max tours in the Everglades. We were 7 people all Italian. He picked us up at our Miami beach hotel and after a little tour of the islands with the sumptuous villas accompanied us to the park explaining so many things about the Everglades. Arrived we took a ride waiting for the boat tour. He also provided us with much needed headphones x not hearing engine noise, waterproof and water. The tour was very interesting and Max very helpful. The trip was made by comfortable car with Wi-Fi. And then it is not easy to find tours in Italian!!

A wonderful experience in the company of Max who was an outstanding guide. Comfortable travel in his luxury car and magnificent exploration of the everglades in hovercraft. We were able to observe a large number of free-ranging alligators and many species of birds and turtles. A wonderful family outing that will leave us an unforgettable memory. Thank you Max.

We were basically very satisfied. We were picked up in front of our hotel, drove as described with a small group into the Everglades and did the boat tour first. Unfortunately, it was also a noisy AirBoot, which certainly scared and disturbed some animals. But otherwise the boat tour was great. Have seen 2 alligators next to their nests and some birds. At the former Tribe Residence we also saw a very large and old alligator. After that we continued to Shark Valley. There we went for a walk and could see more animals. Mär was super informed, made the tour very pleasant and guided us well through the Everglades. Finally, we all had dinner together. We left at 8 and were back at 1pm. Basic recommendation: do not make at 37°. Is so exhausting in the heat and the animals do not like to come out to show themselves.
