Dolphin Tour In St. Pete Beach

This was a fantastic excursion. The ride was awesome with phenomenal hosts. Beverages available on the boat for very reasonable prices.

It was really informative! We didn’t even care about seeing dolphins as we didn’t see them until the end of our trip.. But, not only did we see a pod of dolphins.. We also saw a manatee and learned a ton about different bird species..

This tour was the absolute BEST!! Such a fun way to see the water in a more quiet and personal way vs a big boat!! Our guide was so great!! There were multiple kids on our tour and it was so family friendly! Our daughter had a blast and loved seeing so many dolphins! We loved hearing about some of the history of the area and the drinks for purchase on board were a major plus for the parents! We can’t wait until next year to come down and book a tour with Salty Pelican again!!!

We loved this experience so much! Bob and Aaron were so nice and helpful. They really wanted us to have a great experience. We ended up seeing at least 3 pods of dolphins, one with a baby! I felt like this was so fairly priced for what it was. Definitely recommend!

We had an incredible time with Salty Pelican Boat Tours! From start to finish, the trip was seamless and exceptionally well run. The captain’s local knowledge was outstanding—he pointed out amazing hidden spots, shared fascinating local history, and knew exactly where to take us for the best views along the route. As a parent taking my kids out on the water, safety is always my top priority, and Salty Pelican blew me away. The safety brief was thorough, the boat was impeccably maintained, and the captain went out of his way to make sure the kids were secure, comfortable, and having fun the entire time. It made for a completely stress-free experience for the adults, allowing us to relax with a perfectly ice-cold beer while taking in the scenery. Watched dolphins in their natural habitat as well

Th captain and Avery were great! While we love tours when visiting (or returning to) a city, we don’t love when they talk the entire time. This was a great balance of information while allowing us time to roam the boat, take pictures, enjoy the views, watch for dolphins (which we saw!!) and just relax. I’d do another tour when them for sure!

You will see dolphins. This tour was a nice break from the beach. Captain was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this dolphin boat tour to others.

This was an excellent fun-filled trip. The boat was clean and well maintained. The captain was entertaining and did a great job navigating the waters and finding dolphins. The boat holds 17 and we had plenty of room to move around, and most of the seating is covered. They sell soft drinks, beer, and seltzers on board at cheap prices and free bottled water. Great time and will repeat

Bob & Aeden were great - very informative and interacted SO well with our kids. It was very comfortable and the perfect relaxing day. We saw dolphins, a manatee, many birds and the guides even recommended a great spot for lunch after. We had a blast!

The boat ride was absolutely amazing! The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, we got to see quite a few dolphins, a bird sanctuary, and had an amazing view of the sunset. They also gave a little gift bag at the end as a thank you!

It was 10/10! Would recommend to friends and family! Me and my sister had an amazing time took awesome photos even got to watch the full sunset. Would definitely recommend the crew was amazing. 🩵

We saw many dolphins so the tour was exactly as it was advertised. Also saw many types of birds. The Captain was very friendly & informative. The ride was smooth & pleasurable. I feel it was worth the cost.

Prepare for the weather. Wear comfy clothes. Staff was amazing. They provide cold water no need to bring any.

We had a great time with Aaron and Jacob on our boat tour. We had a party of 6 and were the only ones who purchased tickets for this time-slot. I was impressed that they didn’t cancel on us, unlike other boat tour companies who are known for canceling. They also had a good selection of wine, beer, and seltzers for sale that were reasonably priced. I will definitely be booking this company again.

Although we found no dolphins, the trip was well worth the cost. It was very interesting touring the area from an off shore perspective. The crew was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Will definitely do again when we’re back in town.

Very fun saw manatee and dolphins! The driver took his time to actually find them and it was not where he drove and came back but he actually took time 2 see and find them for us.

Captain Bob and Aaron gave a very fun, safe, and informative tour of the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area. They pointed out historical buildings and even stopped for photo ops! We saw many different native birds and dolphins in the area. When they spotted dolphins, they drove the boat near them and let us spend time there to enjoy the views, until the dolphins moved on. Highly recommend if you are visiting the St. Pete area!

Captain Bob and Aaron were terrific. We were lucky to see several pods of dolphins of different sizes. We even saw a dolphin do a jump out of the water. The weather was great.

This was such a cool experience. First of all the boat is located in this tucked away marina that is exactly what you think of when you think of Florida living. As far as the dolphins, we saw to solo dolphins in the first half of the trip, but the ride itself was beautiful. On the back half we had to of seen 15 dolphins swimming in pods and we were able to get very close to them. It was awesome to see so many having a good time in their natural habitat.

You go out on to the water and search out dolphins, get a bit of a tour on the water..good vibes, free water and wine and beer is for sale if I remember correctly. We saw probably a total of 10ish dolphins...some jumping and some of them close to the boat...was absolutely awesome!

I was looking for something special to do with my granddaughter on my last day here and we booked the tour and had an awesome time seeing the dolphins and then going over to the island with the birds the captains were awesome. We really enjoyed the tour. I would highly recommend going with them.

Really enjoy the cruise, captain very knowledgeable narrating areas inland as we passed through them. A very friendly atmosphere. Overall on a scale of 1-10 hands down 20! I would definitely recommend this cruise.
