Captain Andrea knows her stuff and was incredibly personable! She found the dolphins and manatees ; she also identified other wildlife and shared local history facts.

The tour guide was awesome. It was an adventure that I would experience again. Dagne took us to where the dolphins were jumping right next to the boat.

Captain Dagan is wonderful! So knowledgeable and had lots of information about the area and wildlife animals. I highly suggest him and the tour. We saw manatees and the dolphins, he knew right where to find them.

We saw dolphins and manatees which was lovely. However the captain's (Kurt) attitude was appalling during the trip and he was rude when asked questions about some wildlife. We were charged full price for a 2 year old who sat on a knee all the trip which was expensive. We booked the island stop trip but were told as soon as we got on that we wouldn't be stopping there as the other 2 people on the boat hadn't booked it and it was too far away. The two trips are sold separately but are actually the same trip. I would not recommend with this captain at all.

Such a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed this sunset tour - not a lot of other boats on the water so we had the dolphins and manatees to ourselves :) Captain Andrea was amazing!

Expensive for the experience. A small cooler with ice water would be appreciated. Need to know to wear suits and water shoes as there is a stop on a sandbar to enjoy the water

This tour was well worth the money paid. The tour guide was above and beyond knowledgeable of the area. He know exactly where to go to show us dolphins and manatees. He was also very knowledgeable about Cape Canaveral and the sights to see there. We loved our tour and would highly recommend booking this tour.

This was a great tour - our guide asked what our goals were for the day (to see manatees) and he was able to find several manatees and a baby plus lots of dolphins and two baby dolphins! He was able to tell us so much about the area and the animals we were seeing. Such an amazing tour!

Kurt was very informative about the location and the wildlife. He made us feel so welcome and he was incredibly funny!!! Definite plus! I give two thunbs way way up!!!!

My nephew and I had a great experience! It was nice to explore the waterways on a private pontoon boat versus a larger boat with more people. Kurt was a great captain and host, pointing out lots of wildlife along the ways. Nature was on our side -- we were fortunate to see manatees, dolphins, and lots of birds.

Captain Kurt was amazing, we seen so many dolphins and breeding manatees on our boat tour. We will definitely be booking another tour next time we are in Florida.

Captain Andrea was amazing! She is definitely a Dolphin Whisperer! She knew right where to go and they came to say Hi immediately. They kept their safe distance with a baby in their pod. My bucket list had “see a manatee in the wild”. Captain Andrea found a group of 3 for us. They are adorable! Now my bucket list says”hug a manatee in the wild”. 🥰 Thank you Captain Andrea! Just what we needed and we enjoyed it immensely!! We’ll keep in touch from CA!

Great tour. Had multiple dolphin, manatees and bird sitings. Tour guide was knowledgable about the siting locations as well as the local history.

Kurt was an amazing guid on our dolphin/manatee boat excursion! He was friendly and entertaining. He was knowledgeable and made my dream come true by finding so many manatees for us to see as well as dolphins. He made it a memorable experience for me and my family. Definitely recommend.

It was really good, with plenty of dolphins and birds but unfortunately no manatees. Our captain was very nice and knowledgeable. Just be sure to bring a sun hat if you'll be sitting outside in the Deck area, as it was very hot.

We saw dolphins and a couple manatee. Also an osprey and a few angina, plus a couple brown pelicans and a lot of other waterfowl.

Our boat wouldn't start so fortunately we were able to get on another tour at the same time. The tour was interesting as we went through the locks, saw many dolphins, and a manatee.

This was an excellent tour, and we had a great time. We saw a lot of dolphins and manatees. Curt, our captain, did a wonderful job, and made it a lot of fun for us. He was very friendly and personable and we enjoyed our time with him. The boat holds up to 6 passengers, which we really liked, because it was much easier to see all around the boat. I feel we would have missed seeing some of the animal activity if we'd been on a larger boat. All in all, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this company.

The activity was a bust- overcast weather and no Manatees or Dolphins due to this! Arrived and Capt of previous event states "probably won't see any- hope you aren't disappointed". Then our Capt arrives- she had lots of info and facts to present about the area and such but didn't keep us engaged- the dreary weather and the drizzling rain began- I had to ask "are there rain ponchos"? She stated the last Capt said there were- and so she started looking and found us some- it was cold too--- she did say how to spot a manatee- but told us probably wouldn't because of weather ---- my hub happened to see some bubbles toward the end of trip- and he was right-it was one- tail was neat. We saw it - and then the imprint on the water ---- yeah- that was a cool 10 seconds. It was just a disappointment. Had no idea the sunshine was needed to see them. She said that too--- and dolphins???! Not a clue---- totally just go find these creatures on your own. We met a server that day in restaurant that told us---- oh go down to the marina HAUL OVER CHANaL- manatees hang out there by the docks. You will lots" Sadly we were leaving the next morning or would have tried our luck at that! Suggestions???? Know that manatees are hard to see without sunshine---- dolphins? She didn't even really talk about them---- there were a lot birds and cool wildlife - and capsized boats which were cool to view BUTTTTT I wanted to see Manatees!!! We had an adventure on a dreary day, lots of nice trees and such to see, oh---- she put Musc on toooo to suit what she liked--- lol---- we didn't appreciate the selection - Happy adventures without manatees!

We had a fantastic time on our tour with Captain Andrea! We had a hiccup getting to the boat from the cruise port but the office staff was great to work with en route and Andrea waited as long as she could until we arrived. (Thank you!) Communication was fantastic! We saw dolphins and manatees but honestly the best part was simply the relaxing boat ride on a quiet river on a gorgeous day.

My husband and I booked this expecting to see a variety of dolphins, manatees, alligators and birds. There was cloud cover so it was very hard to see into the water. I saw lots of birds and 2 alligators. We found a manatee but I couldn’t see it and at the very end the tour guide spotted a dolphin fin but I didn’t see it. I would only recommend this on a sunny day. It was not worth the $130 I spent for the two of us. The captain was very nice and informative but it’s not worth it when you can’t see what you expect.

This was my second time choosing this company for a dolphin tour and we were lucky to have Captain Russ again! Russ is such a knowledgable and passionate guide. As important, he is an expert on safety on the water with a clear understanding of the tides, weather, dolphin, manatee, fish and bird habits. We can’t wait to go again soon!

This trip started out a little unexpected… we drove a park with boat launch on Merritt Island, where met our boat and guide. I guess I expected to go to a business and not a dock in a park where a boat was waiting, but it worked out just fine. We left promptly at 8:15AM and headed over to the Canaveral Barge Canal, then the Indian River Lagoon/Lock, and then back to the canal. Along the way, we saw plenty of dolphins and a couple of manatees, so the trip was a success! If you can catch the manatees or dolphins in the shallower canal waters, they’re much easier to see and view. The weather was perfect - partly cloudy and breezy. It was a perfect day. I was admittedly a little overwhelmed with all of the choices online for dolphin tours, but this one was great and we were happy we chose Dolphin Family Tour. I would book them. again - highly recommend Dolphin Family Tours. Our driver/guide was super knowledgabel.
