It was very good even though the weather was not good and we seen several dolphins. Shell island was nice.

They cancelled the day of the excursion without a reason. I just received an email that I only found when I was confirming the time. My family was so excited and we’d been looking forward to it the whole trip. We ended up having to get another but it was twice as much.

Ian and Cael were fantastic. Mother nature worked in our favor for dolphin sightings. Our shelling spot was beautiful and plentiful.

Great few hours boat trip. We saw Dolphins, collected shells and attempted snorkelling however the tide was quite rough so not a lot to see Hosts Ian and Taylor were really great sharing information about the different areas along the journey and top tips about the area too

It was wonderful. Our captions and first mate were so funny, up front and honest. We had the best time and seen so many dolphins and collected so many shells. It truly was an amazing experience. I dont remember the capitals name but Ian was great. Thank you all for this amazing experience wouls definitely do again.

This was such a fun addition to our vacation! The guides are great and meet up is easy to find. It is right at the brewery. You can also bring your own refreshments. While not guaranteed of course, we did see so many dolphins! Shell Key is awesome and got soo many cool shells.

We had a great time! We saw a lot of dolphins on our way out to shell key. And when we got there, there were so many shells! We weren't able to snorkel because of the recent tropical storm, but that didn't matter! We had a wonderful excursion and the staff was very friendly. We traveled with our two kids and this was just enough time for everybody to not get bored.

We seen many dolphin going to look for shell on the island.. and some more on the way back in the bay area.. also go to see an manatee.. it was a good trip..

Fun little trip to see dolphins and collect shells. My teenager even enjoyed it. She put her phone away and just took in nature.

This was a wonderful experience with dolphin sightings and great shells! The only thing I’d say is remember your drinks and sunscreen. I forgot drinks and we were HOT!! It’s Florida we should have known! Would do this again!

We had a good time. We were able to see alot of dolphins ( even a baby just a couple of days old). We connected many larger shells and large sea dollars. Unfortunately the water was stirred up pretty good and Telly really warm but that’s no control of the facility.

Absolutely a treasure to remember. The shell island was a surprise. For my husband who is 70 and never experienced this was memorable

Overall it was good. Saw dolphins and that was exciting. It was windy so we were not able to snorkel.

Everything was clear ahead of time. We left on time and they were very nice. We looked hard for dolphins but didn't see any. We banked at a beach and found alot of shells of all kinds and sizes. We saw 2 manatees. When we returned we ate where boat was docked and the people and food were great. The whole experience I would recommend!

This was a lot of fun! We didn’t see any dolphins today, just the luck of the draw, but we did see several manatees swimming with us! Snorkeling was great, kids from our tour were diving down low and coming up with huge shells. I would say the only negative was that there wasn’t much information given about the area, it was more of just a boat ride. We are fanatics for the history and fun facts of tours, and we just didn’t get anything. This was a great price for the excursion, and was well worth the 2 hours we were on the water. Boat was not crowded on our day, and both the captain and his crewmate were very kind and knowledgeable when we asked them questions. Thank you!

We were greeted so kindly and barely off the dock when we were up close and personal with several dolphins! Our crew knew just where to find them all along our journey to Shell Island! It was a beautiful day and a wonderful experience! I highly recommend the trip!

We took the boat ride from Treasure Island to Shell Key last week. Captain Ian and his mate did a nice job of taking us through the bays to see the fancy houses and some dolphins. On the boat here were a couple families and a group celebrating a 40th birthday. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. I found some cool shells including a sand dollar. The boat leaves from the Sea Dog Brewing Company. We had dinner there after we got back and the food was great!

Great trip, beautiful ride. Shell key was so nice finding big beautiful shells not seen on other beaches. Easy to work with and very accommodating. Would do again

Super fun! Saw dolphins right out the gate. Stopped at shell island to snorkel and collect shells. Tour guides were very informative and fun. Would reccomend!

It is not a private charter, you share the boat with other people. And essentially you pay 55 dollars a person for a boat ride to a beach to swim, look for shells, and can snorkel if you want to at the beach it’s not like you go snorkeling at the reef or anything, but where they take you is just like walking out to the beach and doing to same thing. And they said pretty that if you see dolphins you see them, if you don’t you don’t and can’t predict the wildlife, which is understandable. Personally I just wouldn’t have it advertised at a dolphin tour

We loved it!! Great for all ages. We were able to see Dolphins, enjoy the island shelling, snorkeling and swimming. So much fun!! The Captain was great!

This was a very fun experience! The crew was very nice too! We even saw a dolphin and a sting ray! Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable family friendly outing!!

Great afternoon boat trip touring the intercoastal en route to Shell Key. We saw a dolphin and a manatee! The boat was clean and in good order, and the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. The water at Shell Key was clear and blue with a strong current that afternoon. Wish we had more time at Shell Key, because it felt a little rushed on such a nice day. We took the Gulf side route on the return trip, which was also very scenic. All in all a great trip!

We all enjoyed the overall trip. The ride out and back was relaxing and scenic. We had a great time snorkeling and swimming at Shell Key Island. We were able to see a dolphin and a manatee which was a cool experience. The Captain and mate were great tour guides and provided stories about the area and sealife.

My family with autistic 9-year-olds went on this excursion while we stayed in Treasure Island for a couple of days. It was great. They enjoyed the shell seeking and especially looking for the dolphins. We saw plenty of them and we went at 1:30pm. The hosts are wonderful, and it was a very pleasant afternoon.

Amazing trip! Wonderful crew! Ensured we all had a fantastic trip! We got to see several dolphins as well as gather a bunch of beautiful sea shells!

Captain and skipper were very knowledgeable we loved the experience, no dolphins this time but will be coming again in Sept and joining them again for this excursion.

The tour was great and the crew was fantastic. We were able to see dolphins before exiting to the Gulf. Shell Island was a lot of fun for our girls.

The captain and his daughter were great. We all felt save. Seen about 10 dolphins and they brought us to a lovely beach full of seashells. Unfortunately there was a bunch of waves and we didn't get to find many shells in the ocean. However, we all still loved the exsperiance and we would certainly do it again.

The captain and his new assistant were amazing. They were very knowledgeable they made sure that we saw and would even turn around to get pictures of the dolphins. They were very quick to help with anything you needed be sure and bring something to put your gorgeous shells in. That's the only thing we forgot. We highly recommend this to anyone that just wants a really nice relaxing time.

I took a small group out with me as we're planning a large event happening in FL in November. We did this tour to see if we wanted to add it to our November event - and we absolutely do! The captain and crew were very friendly. We saw dolphins, got to snorkel, found sand dollars & a manatee swam right in front of us! We loved it!

We did this excursion on a family vacation, my husband and I with our 3 kids ages 9, 12 & 14. We all had lots of fun. It was a great way to see the Treasure Island area from the water. We were lucky enough to see a dolphin up close to the boat and had fun snorkeling and searching for shells. The captains/crew were great. I’d definitely recommend!

Great experience all around. Kids loved the boat, dolphins, and shells/ beach. We even got to see a manatee. Love that there was shade on the boat too, and could fit stroller.

It was a disappointing excursion. The weather wasn’t great so windy conditions made snorkeling impossible. It wasn’t even offered. There was no guidance as far as where to go shelling and we had just 45 minutes til you need to be back to the boat or it’s leaving. Would not book with them again.

We almost missed our trip. We put in the address but it went to The Sea Dog Brewery. No where did we see to park there to dock the boat. We had 4 minutes and called in a panic bc we knew we were close. Thankfully we were 1 minute away and found parking: That’s when we figured out where to park but they were also undocking as we ran to catch the boat. We didn’t realize that you could take your own cooler. So pack a cooler and sunblock. We didn’t get to go snorkeling, no one told us why could be because we missed the captains speech. I could only assume it was due to the water being cloudy, which is out of their control. We did see dolphins but we saw more standing at John’s Pass boardwalk at around 7pm. The best part was just cruising around on a boat. We had perfect weather.

Fun experience! Saw lots of dolphins up close which is never a guarantee. Wish we could have spent more time at Shell Key Preserve as that truly was the highlight of the trip!

Great ride! Friendly captain, beautiful up-close dolphin sightings. The shell collecting is abundant and the spot is gorgeous. I went with my teenage daughter and she loved it too. Would definitely recommend.
