Daytona Beach Day Trip With Hard Rock Resort Pass & Hotel Pickup

This was a reasonably priced day trip to Daytona beach with access to the Hard Rock hotel pool and beach front. We were easily able to access beach front loungers and enjoyed chair side service throughout the day. The ride back, however, was a little discomforting. Our driver, Mike, had at least 4 near misses with other vehicles while driving on the interstate. These concerns were also noticed by the other passengers on our trip. I hate that this left a sour note on our day.

What a brilliant day trip! Bonni (our guide) could not have been more accommodating especially as we were a small group, she let us decide exactly how we wanted to spend our day. First of all let me say the hotel pick up that Grayline offer is brilliant (and especially good if you are a non driver or, like myself, a solo traveller with a concern for safety if pick up is in another locality - thank you Grayline!). We started our day at the Hard Rock Hotel which was outstanding and sits directly on Daytona Beach (don't forget your swimwear!). In the afternoon, we choose to go outlet shopping. Bonni was absolutely brilliant, she took us without question or hesitation and did it all with joy and a smile - thank you so much Bonni! I would highly recommend Grayline, they are my number one choice for my annual trip to Orlando.

Brad was a great guide and we had a great time. Hard Rock hotel was very nice. I would skip any extra excursions and just spend full time at the beach and pool. We did the boat trip which was fine but not much sea life to see.

Fantastic day. Just the two of us on this trip Mau our guide for the day was excellent really attentive and willing to change iternary just to take us to Bucees. Fun was had by all! Brad was fabulous! He provided a very safe trip and was knowledgeable about the Orlando and Daytona area! I would love to book another tour with Brad again! We enjoyed the variety of activities this tour provided. I also noticed Brad put care into all of the passengers and was flexible.

Brad was an amazing guide. We had a wonderful time on a daytona trip. We were picked up in Orlanda. We did a guided trip with world famous boat tours, lunch, and Daytona beach.

Mauricio our original driver was very good and friendly. We got a flat tire and a lady driver took us back to our hotel. She made several stupid negative comments about California. I have live in California over 40 years and I know how rich, diverse and beautiful the state is. It is very obvious that she knows very little about California and kept comparing it to the state of Florida. There is no comparison between Florida and California. If you are in charge of a group of people and don’t know their backgrounds just keep your mouth shut. I worked as a university professor in California and I knew how to keep my opinions in class. Besides this incident the trip with Mauricio was great.

A nice beach day with pick up and drop off from our hotel. Spent a few hours on the beach. Rented an umbrella and chairs from a local vendor. A little more time would be ideal to eat at a restaurant on the beach . Overall relaxing day.

Our driver, Brad, was super sweet, and did a great job!! Was right on time for pickup at hotel and at meeting point to come home. 15 passenger sprinter van was very clean and roomy. Brad was very friendly in giving suggestions on where to go during the day, and told some good stories :) He also gave you space to just chill on the ride there and do your own thing. When it came to the actual destination itself..less than ideal :/ Booked the Daytona Beach day trip through Costco as a way to break up my Disney park days and vacation in Orlando. The ad made it sound like a lively area, with ample things to do- however, it was not the case. We arrived at Daytona Beach and the area that we were dropped off at had little to do. Restaurants very kinda few and far between. There were very few shops to walk around and look for souvenirs at. The ones that actually were open out of those were very run down, and had the same type of cheap screen printed shirts you could find literally at any beach you go. We tried going down to the beach to look for shells or coral, but it was riddled with seaweed, and the tide was too high to even lay out and relax in the sand. We eventually had to walk further down the boardwalk to find a restaurant that looked halfway decent and was open. Bubba Gump Shrimp was cute and yummy. After eating there wasn’t anything else around to do, so we sat in a Baskin Robins and waited til our pickup time. AGAIN, the driver and the actual shuttle service itself was fantastic- however, I do think that we got catfished in regards to the location. Pretty much a ghost town with very few tourists, and the only locals you see are sadly homeless individuals on the streets :/ Or the workers in a few shops. I did not feel the safest walking around the area with just my sister- even though it was broad daylight. Wish I would have saved the money I spent on the “beach day”, and used it to buy souvenirs at Disney Springs that I could walk to for free. Just BEWARE if planning to book a fun day at a beach!!! We even made an extra short little stop at Buccee’s on the way back to grab any snacks we needed and to see the place! THANK YOU, BRAD!

Great day trip we were picked up from our hotel by Brad and had a very good drive down to Daytona from Orlando where we were dropped off by the pier which is the main tourism spot in Daytona and were given around 5 hours to look around the area including a few shops and the beach. We were then picked up from the same area we were dropped off at then brought back to our hotel

Amazing day! We split the day up between the Daytona Track and the beach and had a great time at both! Our tour guide, Brad, was absolutely fantastic in telling us about Daytona. He truly made our trip special. This will be a memory our family will cherish forever.

I booked a boat trip and day out in Daytona. This literally can be covered in 2 hours. However driver was good, informative but noone explained where the boat trip was or what time is headed out. I walked about for a couple of hours and gave up as could not find the boat!! I then went to Joe's for food and had lots of people coming and asking for money from me. I feel this was wasted money as paid for the boat ride but given no information as to where this was or the time. I thought it would go from the beach to find there was no boat trips from the beach!!
