Loved it! Our daughter has the attention span of a fish & rarely colours/crafts and even she engaged with activities. Soft play, scribble scrubbies, printing our own colouring sheets & wrapping the crayons were a hit. Interactive wall/floor activities too. Food options weren’t great & pricey so we got our wrist stamped, went into the mall and then popped back later.

One of Orlando's newest family attractions, the Crayola Experience is located at the Florida Mall, an upscale shopping mall with more than 250 stores and eateries. Once you enter this colorful space, you are free to enjoy its 26 activities and attractions at your leisure. Discover the magic behind the crayon-creation process from the resident 'crayonologist' during a live demonstration. Make your own crayon by picking a color, naming it and wrapping it. Play and climb on the 2-story Color Playground. And if you need to reboot, stop by Café Crayola for a treat (own expense). Don’t leave without browsing the souvenirs in the Crayola store, or create your own a drip-art masterpiece by melting crayon wax onto a canvas for a more personalized gift.

Please don’t waste your money coming here save it for something else. Once you paid 30 dollars each to come in you have to pay on top to do the slim and adults not taking part also have to pay to enter. You get given 2 coins each but most of the things you want to do you need to purchase more coins. I really struggle to see a positive other than maybe the app Crayola game you can play here for free than paying on your own device. It’s really run down inside totally different to the other reviews I read. Id avoid stick to spending your money in the shops outside.
We visited Crayola Experience fairly recently. We were so impressed with the entertainment team specifically as we didn't expect it to be much. Our kids loved meeting Orchid the purple crayon and seeing the live factory show. Daniel was a superstar on that stage, he owned that theatre it seemed like. He seemed very confident and passionate about the content presented . We were very impressed with the show and character meets we didn't get to experience the slime labs unfortunately. cafe crayola was super yummy, we loved the french fries but we wished there was maybe cake or cupcakes available for a sweet treat . Our favorite station outside of the shows and characters was dripped art it was so mesmorizing and the kids were jumping up and down with excitement !! We also loved trying to win tickets to try and get a prize, we just wish there were more games available . Our only "attraction" we disliked was the Chaos screen show in the theater, it was running about 3 times when we visited. We tried to watch the 11:30, but it was so bad we walked out after about 4 minutes, most families had already walked out or were throwing popcorn at the screen by that point. We would hope it would be removed soon given that everyone was dissatisfied. We would have much rather seen another live show vs the cartoon . One of the team leads (didn't catch their name but they had a yellow tag that said TEAM LEAD on it) stated that they receive a lot of guest complaints about the cartoon and that our feedback would be documented. toward the end of our visit, we ran into daniel from the factory show again who informed us about upgrading to an annual pass to try and meet all the characters and see the christmas events... we might just come back and do that. thank you to the crayola team for giving our family a fun day out, we will come back hopefully with the cartoon removed hahahaha!
We had an AMAZING time at the Crayola Experience in Orlando! This was such a fun and interactive experience for the entire family. There were so many hands-on activities that kept the kids entertained and engaged throughout our visit. One of our favorite parts was creating our **free personalized crayons!** Such a cute and unique touch, and the kids loved having their very own crayons to take home. I especially loved that this wasn't just a place for the kids to look around. They actually got to participate, create, explore, and use their imaginations! **My kids had so much fun that they literally did not want to leave!** That alone tells you how much they enjoyed it! If you're visiting Orlando with children, I highly recommend adding the Crayola Experience to your itinerary. It's a wonderful indoor activity that offers hours of creative, interactive fun. We would definitely visit again!
It is like a 3 hour experience, mostly for kids, lots of crayons and things to paint on. As the name says is a crayola experience so do not expect anything different that coloring with crayons all the time and everything. The staff is really nice. When I was there was not crowded. It was a Friday.
Your kids will projectile vomit for dinner after going here. Stay away, they do not deep clean there facility. Beehive for germs.
This was super fun for the whole family. There was so much there to do even my husband wanted to go back again.
Today, we celebrated our son's birthday at the Crayola Experience, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the organizer Kerstin to the host and the entire team, the whole experience was fantastic. My child and his friends had a blast! Thank you so much for making this day so special and perfect. Top notch!
I took my grandsons there and they loved it. They cannot stop talking about it.‼️ there were some things that the 14-year-old could not do (too big). But there was plenty he did too and had a great time. The nine-year-old loved it.‼️‼️
Great experience for children of all ages lots of activities many different for boys and girls alike
Lots of activities to do here. We enjoyed learning about how crayons are made in the factory. Making our own personalized crayola label was awesome!
Very fun place to experience with the family. There is so much to do for all ages. We had family members 5 to 60 - everyone enjoyed.
Crayola experience was amazing. My daughter loves coloring and drawing. She loved everything about this place. She solved the secret message for the egg hunt. Everything was great.
You can easily spend a full morning or afternoon here. There are many things to do. Totally recommend
Super fun family play place! There is something to do for everyone. My kids got to make so many things and they had an amazing play area. I would plan for a couple hours to do everything
It’s a great one time visit for a tourist or yearly membership for locals who can bring their toddlers over to play and have fun. Quite a few interactive activities, other than art and painting. Re-entry is available. We spent about 5 hours with kids as they kept doing activities they liked over and over. It can be done in 2 hours. It’s a fun and learning experience even for an adult. Located in a mall. Food and drinks available for purchase. Limited seating and may be hard to find on a crowded day. Go early 10am and on a weekday to avoid crowds.
The admission fee was incredibly expensive. It was almost $200 for our very small family to go in and once inside it was so overstimulating and loud my kids were just freaking out. They actually asked to leave a few times because of the noise the music and the constant light going on and off it was like a mini disco tech for toddlers. You really didn’t learn very much about the Crayola making process. All it was was activities for your kids to do once they were inside that you had to actually pay for on top of the admission fee.. so beware young families if you think this is something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon it’s going to cost you an arm a leg and probably next month’s paycheck! The one freebie they got a complementary crayon. 0/10 stars Would not recommend
The Crayola Experience was very interesting and exciting, even for adults. There are numerous activities that you can choose to engage with that blossoms with creativity.
This place was amazing! There was so much to do for kids of all ages and really got them to be creative. Even adults could get involved and enjoy the things they had there. We spent three or four hours there! Only con was that two of the four skee ball machines worked and the bin for the higher ticket count was empty.
Took our 2 kids (4 and 7) here. They enjoyed getting to personalize a couple crayons each and the various arts and crafts stations. There were a few things that cost extra like wax molds and a gemstone activity that we did not participate in. As well as, a small play area for littles and a bigger play area for 5-9yo. While it was enjoyable I was hoping for something more interactive, and educational. I expected them to have art classes, or at least more guided supervision through some of the crafts. Everything was pretty self paced and felt geared towards toddler-5 year old. If they had more advanced crafts or classes I think it could have more potential at getting higher attendance in off season.
Very nice for young ones to explore and have fun.Great for family outing with kids.very clean and plenty of activities to indulge in.
Plan to spend at least 3 hours or more at Crayola Experience. There’s activities for children and teens and kids love it.
My 4 year old loved it. He says it was one his favourite things we did in Orlando. He keeps asking to go back. Lots of different activities. Had to wait a short time to do some of the activities like melting a crayon to make a shape. But loads to do. There was 2 play area. One for small kids 0-4 and a bigger kid one (my guess would be 7 or 8 maximum). The quick serve cafe bit was nice. My boy still talks about the corn dog he had there. I got an uber there from idrive. It was around $15. Went on a very rainy Monday. It was a bit busy but not crowded. Brought tickets online the day before and it was cheaper than buying on the day
Really lots of fun. My special needs adult daughter had so much fun. She is in wheel chair and it was so comfortable for her. So much to do and see. Highly recommend pre-purchasing tickets and popcorn, drink and token package.
It was so much fun! Its not really a place to go solo as an adult, but if you have children or grandchildren its really fun. There are some spots that are more geared toward littler kids but there is definitely fun for everyone. We went during Halloween so there are definitely different activities depending on what time of the year you go.
I was worried my 11 and 9 year old would be bored, but I was wrong! I found this place looking for something to do indoors. I ordered tickets online for my kids. I got in free because it's my birthday week. You get in free within 7 days of your birthday. This place was booming with toddlers and little kids. There are many activities to do here. You can smell the crayons when you walk in. Admission comes with 2 tokens and a voucher for a free pet you can color and wash off with Crayola marker. You can melt the crayon and make spin art or melt crayons into a mold to make fun shapes like seahorse, emoji and sharks. All over are areas to color and do crafts. There is a concession stand and different areas where workers are more than happy to help with an activity. There are also 2 small playgrounds for kids. One for toddlers and one for small kids. The tokens allow you to label your own crayon, get a clay of your choice color to mold or play an arcade game. We made our own crayons and it's a cute souvenir to have a crayon with your name on it. You can easily spend 3-5 hours here. Without coloring and playing in the playground, we spent 3 hours here. It was a fun experience, but I wouldn't do it often. It's on the pricey side. $29.99 if you order ahead online to save $3.
It was a cool thing to see, but the place was an absolute zoo. It was very loud and chaotic with a lack of structure. It was very overwhelming.
Way too over priced! We have all of the coloring activities that are included in admission at home, everything else priced were exorbitant! The cafes were filthy, sticky tables, dirty floors, sticky filthy napkin holders. $30 for microwave pizza! $4 for bottle water! Not at all worth the price! Very disappointing!
Lots of noise! Lots of fun th ings to do. Take your time. We were there about 3 hours. Expensive so planahead.
Fun great for all ages. We were there about 2 hrs did most everything. Great experience. We did wait in line too long. My teen even enjoyed it.
I took my 9 year old daughter there this past week and was surprised just how many different things we did. A very creative experience that she loved. She had been there with her class, but it was my first time. She seemed to be just as engaged as if it was brand new. We took pictures, videos, created shark crayons, named colors and made our own personalized crayons and much more. I enjoyed it as an adult and she was over the moon with the place. Great for those that love crayons and love to be creative with their drawing and art.
It's the perfect activity for a rainy day, or for when you want a break from parks. It's inside Florida Mall, so you can also go shopping on the same day. My kids absolutely love it, there's lots of fun activities. The ticket includes two tokens, one so they can make a personalized crayon, and the other to get a Scrubbie, which is a little animal figure they can paint and clean. Besides that, they can also mold crayons, make lots of paintings, coloring activities, and there's an indoor playground as well. My kids always want to go back and stay there until closing time.
A very busy place. Came with family and we had 4 little ones with us. The kids had a great time, and were busy for hours. There are a lot of different stations and even the adults enjoyed . It was very crowded, but we expected that the last week in Dec.
We enjoyed ourselves at crayola experience. My girls had so much to do and every minute was captured with a picture . We will be going back next year
To see the joy on my granddaughter’s face. She had an amazing time. She loved the rainbow rain and the playground area
See my son having so much fun and enjoying all the games while playing with other kids. He really enjoyed himself.
The most memorable experience is the smiles on my niece’s faces when they saw the building from the outside to coming in to do many activities. I’m eating the experience 10/10 and I’ll definitely be back next year for this adventure!
I realize it’s a three day weekend and it was rainy today. We arrived expecting Crayola to be busy. However, we didn’t expect to wait in 30 minute lines for every attraction. As soon as we stepped foot upstairs we were met with a swarm of people. The crowd never dispersed. We had to push through the crowd at every turn. Knocking into people was just par for the day. Many of the attractions were broken constantly. One machine was out of order the entire time, with many others breaking over and over again (the name your own crayon machines.) They did have a worker making constant rounds at the name your own crayon machines, trying to keep up with the break downs. The lines for these machines are chaotic. After waiting 30 minutes to do an activity, like mold art, we were very disappointed with the experience. When I got it my machine, the lights weren’t working. The box said “open the door” so I opened the door. A worker came over and quickly scolded me to keep it closed. I would have liked to know more about what was happening, but they were ushering people in and out as fast as they could. They took our molds out before they were dry, to get the next group in. Very disappointing experience after waiting in line for so long. We thought that everything inside came as part of the ticket price. We were disappointed to learn that many things kept costing additional money. My son kept asking to do the things with a shorter line, but those were the things that cost extra. There was so much confusion and chaos- we didn’t get to experience most of the activities. Looking back over the website just now, I don’t even remember seeing half of the listed activities- probably because it was just too crowded. I wish we had been told of the crowds as we were purchasing our tickets. As people that live close by, but have never done the experience before, we would have come back another time. I hope it’s much calmer most other days!
We came with our 6 and 7 year old boys and they loved it! Model making, crayon designing and colouring the pet were their favourite and burning off some extra energy in the play area was great also! A special thank you to staff member Nikki she could not have been more helpful and really made our day :)
My daughter had an awesome time. I would absolutely suggest this to anyone with kids. All of the staff were nice.
It was great but I didn’t like that some activities were an extra charge. Once I pay my admission I don’t want to have to tell my kids they can’t do certain things or be forced to pay more that I didn’t calculate for. Other than that it was great
Ok - full transparency kids will love this place. Those with a recent birthday (1 week timing plus or minus) get in free. Thats where the good news ends. Here's the MAIN issue. Its understaffed and the employees don't care. I 've never seen so many employees just barely scraping by to do their jobs. This is a really bad Chuck E. Cheese with the Crayola name on it - and they don't serve a full menu on weekdays! There are experiences included like make spin art from a melted crayon - yeah - 1 per family - not 1 per person. The crayon machine that takes tokens - they've a hot mess as they don't work properly - aren't marked out of order and "eat" your tokens (They did finally replace our tokens). The family restroom door has a lock that doesn't work. The snack bar took forever as they had to wait until the popcorn was completely empty before popping a new batch. Ten minutes later it was ready. Yet they other a ticket upgrade to get two popcorns and a drink - come 'on Parents let there kids run wild, its shameful. I lost count of the number of kids that bounced off of me running around this place. Do yourself a favor - just by some Crayola products at a local store and a coloring book - or get their apps on a tablet. If I could get my money back - I would - NEVER AGAIN.
I am highly upset with how our experience was today. Got to Crayola and me and my children had to use the bathroom , and unfortunately i use a walker due to a back injury and i went to use the handicap stall and i was waiting in a line of other mothers with strollers waiting to use the handicap stall. which i am a little confused, i am using a walker to hold my self up and can not use the regular stalls. so this is very frustrating. only one handicap bathroom stall for people like me. and mothers are using this bathroom to change there kids when a changing table is right there for them to use. so i waited over minutes to use the bathroom at this point i am in so much pain because i have OBS - which means i can hardly control my bladder. There is a family room for things like this and apparently the door handle is off and it doesnt seem that it is going to get fixed anytime soon. This is a place for kids to come and play and a family bathroom is a must for single parents which is ideal. Im sorry but familys using the handicap stall WHICH IS FOR HANDICAP people to change there children is not okay. ALSO when i tried to speak to someone about this the girl was very rude and basically told me well then i would have to figure something else out when i need to use the bathroom completely ignoring me and telling me she doesnt have time to deal with my complaint. I AM HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS !
Lots to do especially on a rainy day but the soft lay areas could do with being bigger . we also got a bit frustrated by all the extra charge stuff . After an hour the kids were ready to move on
Over-priced & uninspiring. 28 dollars per adult so nearly 50 dollars to get in and then you’re expected to put more money into slot machines once in there. Needs updating and a lot of the machines were broken. Won’t be going back. Our 2 year old was bored and wanted to leave after 20 mins.
This was my first time of even hearing of this place! Glad I went. Everyone from my 2, 4, 5 & 12 years old nieces loved it!! Even my 24 year old daughter enjoyed making her own crayon as well as all the coloring and other hand on activities!!
Not enough activities and don’t worse a money . Picture maker is very expensive t for purchase and some activities asking for money. Is already expensive
My boys ages 7 & 11 had so much fun. We were there 4 hours and didn’t run out of activities to do. They made hand molds, searched for mines, made crayons, made splatter paint. They loved it. Would be good for toddlers too. Also have indoor playground for different age groups.
Definitely an experience only younger kids can enjoy. This was our first family trip and we decided to take our kids here. The personal crayon you can create with the free token is just a color crayon with whatever name you want to put on there. After 20 mins my kids were over it. I recommend this place if you have kids under 8 that enjoy being creative.
My kiddos loved the playground area and naming their own crayons, printing the labels and rolling it together. I do wish it had been more fully staffed because it was not as clean as I would have hoped and the line for food was long. We did just visit Disney, so maybe my comparison is too high a standard.
