Clearwater Encounters With Dolphins Tour

We had a great time out today with Clint and Caitlyn! We learned a lot and saw lots of dolphins! So much fun!

It was 90 min cruise ( dolphin watching and a stop to a small private island ) .. The guide was amazing and very knowledgeable , easy going and simply fun!! Can't wait to return to Clearwater and do the cruise all over again.

We had a wonderful tour this morning on the Encounters with Dolphins boat. We saw dolphins and had a visit to the tiny island. A special thanks to Sierra and Kaitlin who were a wonder captain and first mate. We would highly recommend it.

We had a great time on our 5 pm departure dolphin excursion. Saw a group of dolphins very quickly and very close. Enjoyed spending some time on the island. Our captain and guide were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Encounters with Dolphins Tour.

We just finished the 5pm ride with Clint, Caitlin and Sierra and it was the perfect tour. We saw SO MANY dolphins within the first 30 mins. The team was fun, relaxed and personable. Highly recommend!

Encounters with Dolphins was a top-rated dolphin tour on Trip Advisor, so we booked our group of 6 through Trip Advisor, easy-peezy. Parking at the marina this time of year was very easy and the tour group offered a discount code if paying at the keyosk. Check-in was quick then we boarded the boat 10 minutes before departure time. Mikayla and Sienna were fantastic tour guides and we saw quite a few dolphin 'shows'! They stayed in contact with another tour group to be sure we didn't miss any of the dolphins. We arrived at seashell island during high-tide, so the island was very tiny, but plenty of shells to sift through and a nice chance to cool off in the water. I recommend having swim suits on! The ride back to the marina was peaceful and Mikayla told us all about the mansions we rode by. Overall great, relaxing experience!

Great boat ride even though we didn’t see dolphins. Crew was very nice. Get to come back for free whenever since we didn’t get to see any dolphins. Highly recommend.

Was a beautiful day for sightseeing on the water and though the guides were great and captain was excellent we didn’t see any dolphins.

Great time and excellent value. Captain Zack and First Mate Kaitlyn were very knowledgeable and did a great job pointing out points of interest and wildlife. We saw manatees and several pods of dolphins. At least 20 to 30 dolphins in total, including a baby. Captain Zack then coordinated with other tour boats and got the dolphins to put on a show. It was unreal.

Very nice tour... We got to see Mama Dolphin hunting with a couple of her babies. Tour guides were very friendly and provided some nice insights on houses along our route. Read your itinerary well as there was a stop where we could have gone swimming (Not with dolphins) and we did not dress for the occasion.

Captain Zack and Mikayla were amazing, they were friendly and fun. We encountered a great show of the dolphins.

We loved it. We went on the 7 pm trip and it was the best boat ride I’ve been on since coming to Clearwater beach. I’ve had the opportunity to ride just about everyone on the marina and some that are no longer there. This one is by far the best. You really have to give it a try to believe how good it is. ❤️🐬🦞🌴☀️

This was not our first dolphin boat tour in Clearwater, but it was our absolute favorite. The captain and first mate instantly made us feel like friends in a ride! They were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly fun! We saw dolphins and visited 1 tree island. My kids had the time of their lives!

We all had an amazing time! The crew was ftiendly and great. We took the 3pm tour and saw quite a few dolphins. It was the perfect treat for the family.

We had a great time on the Encounters with Dolphins Tour!! The covered pontoon boat was roomy and comfortable, and for 6 people, we spent under 200.00 for a 90 minute boat ride. The guides were very knowledgeable and knew where to go to see dolphins, which my Grandson loved!! There was even a stop on One Tree Island, where we go off the boat and collected seashells and enjoyed the ocean water. The guides were able to point out some interesting facts, and were very friendly! We loved the experience and I would choose this company again for another trip!!

Boat trip was cancelled due to the weather but we weren’t contacted to be informed so we still turned up to no one there and the boat not running. Refund requested twice and not contacted to confirm for a day and a half - not a great experience!

The evening we were supposed to go it was thundering and lightning. I thought I could cancel on my own because my husband said he was not getting in the water. I tried messaging Amanda explaining the situation and my messages were never read or responded to. So make sure there’s no storms in sight before you book because they do not try to work with you for refunding.

Amazing trip! I was so nervous to go due to motion sickness but I took my Dramamine and was absolutely fine! The captain and his assistant were great and we learned lots of information about the area. There were also families and a couple with a cute pooch! It was so much fun and glad I didn’t chicken out. The boat was extremely clean with a bathroom on board. We saw several pods of dolphins including a baby! It’s a must if you visit Clearwater!!!

Really enjoyed our trip. It was hot Sunday in July and it was an absolute pleasure to be out on the water. Yes of course we saw dolphins too. I would highly recommend booking with Encounters with Dolphins. The stop at the little island was a treat and a chance to hunt for shells and dip your feet in the water.

Katelyn and Zack made this the best tour ever. We saw baby dolphins with their moms and got to stop at a private island where we found sooo many shells and got to splash around for a while. Great experience, shaded and breezy boat, lots of perfect music. Great job guys!

We had a great experience. House is next to the beach but far enough away from the main street so it's quiet when you need it to be.

Great time! Wish we could have seen more dolphins, but we saw 2 babies for the first time in their natural habitat in the gulf, which was a first for us! Absolutely adorable! Our guides were great, engaged, and very knowledgeable. Great value for the money!

First off, these people are EXTREMELY accommodating. Customer service is TOP TIER. Everyone was so friendly and it was nice to see the dolphins and bask in the collective joy. I would totally do this again!

Great experience, great guides! Great communication by texts and emails for information and updates. Only issue is the address takes you past the check in booth and you have to back track a ways.

I had a fantastic time on the boat. My guides were Makayla and Seirra and they made my boat ride a blast! Not only did they answer any question I had but they told us so many cool facts. They were super kind and I had a fantastic time with them. The visit was about 2 hours, with a stop at an island where you could swim or collect seashells. There was about 6 people on the boat. We saw dolphins multiple times with the guides pointing them out everytime. Makayla and Seirra were awesome and made my trip great there and back to the dock. I never heard them repeat a single fact about the ocean and dolphins! They did a great job overall!

There are a lot of boat tour options off of Clearwater Beach and we were very happy with the Encounters with Dolphins Tour and staff. Checkin was easy, it was a nice and relaxing boat ride, great for kids and adults. The Captain and our boat tour guide Makayla were both great! Lots of dolphin sightings and the island stop was great for the kiddos.

The excursion was just wonderful! We saw a number of dolphins along the ride. The captain and host of the boat were super friendly and offered some fun information about the animals in the area. Also, our boat had a cover on it. Made the ride so much more comfortable in the summer heat. A couple items to note: 1) I believe it would have been cheaper just to purchase tickets there and not online. There are several times the boat goes out so no worries about tickets selling out. 2) You have to pay for parking at the marina. Wait to pay for the parking until AFTER you check in with Dolphin Encounters. They give you a code that allows for a cheaper and longer parking time. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Great guide and captain. We saw many dolphins including a baby. She gave us information about celebrity homes as well.

We had decided about an hour in that, even if we didn't see any dolphins, we still very much enjoyed this tour! The ladies were wonderful and funny, and being out on the water was amazing!
