Clearwater Dolphin Kayak Tour And Bird Island Adventure

Great kayak experience. Easy to find right at Shepherds Resort. Luke, the guide, was awesome!!! Definitely will do again!!!

Elijah was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. We did get to close with a couple dolphins and watched them hunt for a bit. Lots of cool birds to watch. Stopped at a sand bar and waded around and found some cool shells. Very fun, relaxed excursion!

This trip/excursion was setup online days in advance. We drove from out of town, arrived then 2 hours before meeting/departure at site the company texted saying they had no guide and had to cancel. Then said they found someone to take place of previous guide so we get there and that guide didn’t show up. This company is run by kids…not really professional and unorganized. Beware if booking….would not recommend!

The experience was amazing! Elijah was a great tour guide. He took pictures and videos for our group. We also saw lots of dolphins swimming right under our kayaks! Would definitely go again!!

My daughter and I enjoyed our kayak tour with Lucas with no beard lol. He told us there’s 3 Lucas’s so I thought I’d specify. I’ve only been kayaking once before so I’m a beginner and he offered to have my daughter on his kayak to make it easier for me. I really appreciated that because the water was kinda rough. We saw a few dolphins and a ton of birds on bird island. We attempted to snorkel out on the sandbar but it was to shallow. My daughter found some conch and someone from a nearby tiki boat found a hermit crab and let her have it. Lucas took some nice pictures of us and that was greatly appreciated because even though I had my GoPro I didn’t reach for my camera not one time because I was enjoying myself so much. 10 out of 10 I’d recommend :)

We saw several dolphins plus had an encounter with some manatees. My wife and I enjoyed the mangrove island with all the bird life. Our guide Elijah was wonderful and very insightful. I would definitely recommend this adventure. Just be sure and put on plenty of sun screen.

Very fun experience and great guide!

Elijah was an experienced guide and made our trip memorable. This was my first kayak experience so it is definitely good for anyone who has never kayaked! We saw alot of dolphins and even a manatee. Recommend morning trip, bring water, and don’t forget your sunscreen. Once again, great trip.

Elijah our guide was excellent, knowledgeable about all the wildlife. My sons were kayaking with 3 dolphins just feet away. The bird island had more pelicans and swans then we could count. A manatee came right up to there Kayak as we headed back. Unforgettable experience.

I had never been kayaking, a pretty cool experience. We didn’t see any dolphins or manatees. Maybe it was the time of day we went out. Elijah was a great guide and patient with us and our 12 year old boys. We didn’t think about it but this is a couple hours so bring a water bottle.

Don't let guide take your photos!!!! Dolphins came right up to Kayak and swam under. Very cool to see. Bird Island was amazing! Convenient location near hotels....
