Clearwater Beach Fun And Tropical Food Tour

I would say this is our favorite food tours. Our guide was so much fun and super interesting. She Told us a lot of facts about Clearwater beach which later lead to a silly trivia game with prizes. The food was delicious and drinks suoer reasonable and tasty. My favorite food was the corn ribs. Yes folks corn ribs. Yum! If you are looking to do some5ing fun and different book a tour. You will Love it!!

The tour was conducted in pouring rain with gusty winds that ponchos (provided) didn’t help. We were DRENCHED after the 1st stop & again after the 2nd. We left as it should have beed cancelled.

Shannon was AMAZING. The food was very good and we left with more knowledge about Clearwater Beach. Each of the food places were not ones we would have known to stop at but we will definitely go again and recommend to others. This was a great tour. I highly recommend Jimbo's tours.

My hubby and I had a great food tour of Clearwater Beach! We loved all the history and background information that was provided about the area. Jimbo and Shani were wonderful tour guides! The food was fantastic! My only advice is to go hungry because the portion sizes are huge! We highly recommend this food adventure if you are visiting Clearwater!

Our family LOVES food tours. It's the one thing we can all agree on when we go on vacation. We've done food tours all over the world, and this was truly one of the best. The food at each stop was delicious, but it was also SO FUN! Jimbo & his team create such an amazing environment for their tours. You get to eat amazing food, learn about the culture of the area, and play a fun trivia game along the way. I chose to book this tour based on the reviews AND the fact that Jimbo is willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. I let him know ahead of time that I need gluten-free food, and he provided me with a delicious alternative at every stop. Another young lady on our tour wasn't able to eat dairy. Even though he found out at the start of the tour, he made every effort to accommodate her, as well. In addition to this tour, Jimbo offers tours at the Tampa Riverwalk, Downtown St. Pete, & Safety Harbor. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely be booking another tour with him.

I had the best experience on this food tour! The guides AC and Jimbo were so sweet, funny, and supportive! I felt like we were hanging with best friends! They set the bar high for any other food tour!

We were lucky enough to have both Jimbo and AC take us on the food tour, and both of them were great! It was a VERY windy day, but they were good-natured and pleasant, even though the weather didn't cooperate. We walked short distances between food establishments, so we weren't really out in the bad weather for very long anyway. The conversation was great, the food was delicious, and the game at the end was awesome! The pizza stop was probably our favorite stop, but every place was great! I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting Clearwater or the surrounding areas. It was such an enjoyable tour!

Booked a Clearwater walking foodie tour for a work teambuilding event and it was incredible. We enjoyed the local dining, fun facts, delicious recommendations on drinks, and some after the tour places. I'd do it again with Jimbo! 10/10

I love foodie tours. It is one of the first activities that I look for when I visit a new city. I am a hard customer but most of them I have been on were good. Jimbo's tour in St. Petersburg was an exception, it was GREAT! Easy to book, great communication, fun from the very start to the end. Jimbo made it a point to teach us about the city, speak one on one to each of us, introduce us to the restaurant staff and point out the highlights of why it was chosen. And the restaurants were fabulous. We ended the tour with ice cream and a trivia contest and for an ice cream eating, competitive family, this was a highlight (bonus - the girls won)! I connot say enough good about this event, don't miss out, book it now!

Amazing time with a great host. My favorite aspect is going to a popular city such as Clearwater Beach, but being able to go to all the "local" places that is not as easily found. Felt like I was a Clearwater Beach native! Highly recommend for food, and experience!!

What a fun experience going in this food tour. We sure enjoyed all the delicious food, tried some gator, some balls and fell in love with a new drink called orange crush. We learned some interesting facts about the area, learned more about the Hulk and had a few laughs. I would give this tour 10 stars!!! 5 is the highest but it deserves a 10.

5 stars for fun, flavor, and great company! Jimbo, is personable and full of great energy. He makes everyone feel like friends exploring the city together. The tour perfectly blends entertainment and education. We loved how Jimbo seamlessly wove in local history and fun trivia, with a few surprises thrown in that kept us laughing and engaged! It's interactive without ever feeling like pressure. The game (and prizes!) at the end was a great closer, but the real highlight was connecting with Jimbo and our fellow tour mates, and, of course, the delicious food choices Highly recommend this one!

Food and drinks were delicious. Jimbo does a great job choosing the restaurants and food on the tour. He has a good rapport with the restaurants which enhances the overall experience. This Food Tour was off the charts! I learned so much about the area, its history, the restaurants' histories, and fun trivia test at the end! The food was amazing and chosen for each one's specialties which made it interesting and fun! It was nice meeting people from other states on our tour as well. I have new friends now from TEXAS! Very cool experience, and Jimbo is a wealth of knowledge as well as a bunch of FUN! Lots of laughs as we strolled! (You can tell by the pics, if he posts them! LOL) 5 Star Food Tour, for SURE! A slight mishap in directions from Tripadvisor/Google Maps (not Jimbo) had my family walk a mile in the heat in the wrong direction. Only to walk back to the starting place across from our hotel. My daughters (14 and 16) were already over it and not having a good time. When we met up with Jimbo, I told him he had a challenge on his hands to get these two to laugh and smile. Mission accomplished!! Not only did we all laugh, but we all had an amazing time! Jimbo infused local fun facts throughout the tour and turned it into some healthy competition. A secret chant was learned and recited at each stop. I took the advice of another reviewer and did the tour the day after we arrived, so we had the opportunity to learn about the area and revisit the local restaurants for dinner during our stay. It was such a fun experience, and it was well worth the time and money. Thank you, Jimbo!

We had a great time with Jimbo! Food was good and JImbo was full of info about Clearwater history and the food scene in the beach area. Got to sample a variety of places, all highly rated and the tour was filling. HIghly recommend. One of our favorite activities that we did in St Pete/Tampa/Clearwater on our long weekend trip to the area.

Great choices of fresh, local-sourced seafood, and Italian! This was the Clearwater tour, but next time I go back, I’ll try out the St. Petersburg tour, too.

Frankly, I am NOT normally a big fan of things like this. My other walking and biking food tours felt like some combination of awkward, forced, rushed, poorly organized, and/or sloppily put together events designed to separate me from my money. Jimbo’s Jumbo Food Tour was a breath of fresh air. This first thing I noticed is how Jimbo makes everyone feel immediately welcome, included, and like a friend. He’s big on making sure people are happy and he does a nice job building camaraderie throughout the group. This really matters. It feels like he would probably enjoy leading a group of friends around Clearwater Beach if he wasn’t getting paid for it. If Clearwater Beach had a “Social Mayor”, it would be Jimbo. We hit a few cool spots, some of which I am certain I would not have found on my own. If you’re new to Clearwater Beach and want to get oriented quickly, this is a great way to do so. He also has a pretty rich knowledge of the area and has a lot of fun sharing all that info. It proved to be very helpful. I’m glad we did our tour earlier in our vacation vs later because of that. Then there’s this mysterious ritual which I am not going to spoil, but it is kitschy and it provides fun moments, bonds people in the group, and is a great memory anyone can rekindle back home. I can’t make a big enough deal about how different it is when a host is truly passionate about people loving the experience vs. the all too common money-grabs in tourist areas like Clearwater Beach. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

10/10 experience - wow! I came in a little hesitant, as I didn’t know what to expect with a “food tour” and scheduled this for my work team. But wow I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised with how amazing Jimbo and his Jumbo Food Tour was! Perfect experience for any group (work or just friends) trying to see the beautiful views of Clearwater beach, taste some amazing food, and have a great time with Jimbo!
