Clearwater Beach Day Trip From Orlando With Upgrade Options

We had such a lovely day trip from Orlando to Clearwater Beach! It was honestly one of the highlights of our holiday. Clearwater Beach was absolutely beautiful, and the Captain Memo Pirate Ship was so much fun and made the day feel really special. I also want to give a big shout-out to our driver, Adam Rubman. He was so friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout the whole day. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we set off, drove really well, and was always happy to help. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. The whole day was relaxed, enjoyable and really well organised. We came back with some great memories and would definitely do this trip again. A big thank you to Adam for helping make our day so enjoyable! 🏴‍☠️🌴🌊 Highly recommend!

Yesterday, I visited Clearwater, Florida, and Adam was my driver. He was friendly, funny, talkative, and made the entire journey so enjoyable. We stayed at the Chart House in Clearwater. It was the clean, beautiful inside and our room had a view of the beach and Marina. Clearwater itself was clean. Lots of places to eat. Hope to go back soon.

Great day out to Clearwater, went on a boat trip to see the dolphins in the gulf. The guide Andrey Sanchez was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny and went out of his way to make sure everyone knew where to go and what to do!!

It’s a long ride but totally worth it, my daughter and I had an amazing time and saw lots of dolphins.

We had a great day! This was a wonderful tour and our guide, Gary, was funny and took care of everyone. Would do it again!

The bus never came to our hotel even though I was told it would. So we never made the trip. I would like a refund. Thank you Karen

The tour guide was Amazing! He gave us a lot of info and good tips about clear water. He even drove us up and down the main street to show us what was there. He was very fun a d entertaining! We loved his vibe!

We had an amazing day at Clearwater beach. We booked the trip with gray line and were picked up by our driver Mauricio, who was friendly, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived at Clearwater Mauricio showed us where everything was then dropped us off right next to the pier. We spent some time in the sea and then headed to frenchy’s for lunch and cocktails which were delicious! Would highly recommend the trip.

Was told not to leave accommodation due to a delay with the bus company. And was to stand by and I had already left my hotel so I turned back once I received the wattsapp message and from 0650-1430. Not received a phone call nor text to let me know what happened. Was told to stand by for update I contacted the app I used to book and was told the tour went ahead as planned 😡

It’s a beautiful beach . Quiet clean they have cabanas to rent and chairs with umbrellas to rent also the sans is so pretty and soft it reminds me of the sans of the Bahamas. We found pretty seashell on this beach too

The round trip transportation is nice but it’s not worth it. The driver was nice but you spend more time in the van than you do on the beach. We spent 1 hour in backed up traffic going which changed our arrival time from 9 to 1015 and it took time away from our actual beach time. We had to be back on the van at 345 and we didn’t get back to the drop off until after 7 because of traffic!! Next time, I’ll just stay in Tampa (much closer) so I’ll have actual time to enjoy the beach. We did a dolphin sightseeing tour and that started at 1045 and lasted until 1230 so we only got to spend 2hrs on the beach before it rained us out. Now the dolphin tour was nice. They took us out to the Gulf of Mexico and we saw many dolphins! I have great videos. But keep in mind that the boat trip you purchase may not be the boat you get on. All in all, I wouldn’t do it again. I hated spending all that time in the van stuck in traffic and feeling rushed.

Easy pick up at a hotel . Communication about the event was clear and questions answered in a timely manor. The only thing I would recommend is that u ask guests to use headphone when listening to their devices or on a phone call while traveling in the van/bus. So We don’t have to listen to several different conversations and videos in addition to the radio.

A lot of traffic in/out. Bathroom stop should be offered. But it was very nice and our driver was informative and punctual. It was just the right amount of time for a beach day.

Adam was amazing!! We had the best time. He is a very safe driver and it was a pleasure to have him as our driver. He kept us very entertaining and let me listen to Disney music!!

Booking this trip was easy and communication from GrayLine Orlando from booking until day of trip was excellent. Our driver Mauricio was fantastic! As he said "he would treat us like family" and that he did! From getting us there and back safely, giving useful recommendations and information once we got to Clearwater and making sure we were all taken care of. He also made sure to personally take us to where we needed to be for our Dolphin Encounters trip. He is definitely an asset to GrayLine and would highly recommend him as a driver/guide! Our Dolphin Encounters trip was great! The tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to point out lots of things along the way including many dolphins! Highly recommend this trip! We had plenty of time for the dolphins encounter trip, lunch and beach time. Many thanks to GrayLine Orlando, especially Mauricio, the crew from Dolphin Encounters and Clearwater Beach!

Clearwater Beach is beautiful! We saw a 3 dolphins at the beach. Clean public bathrooms are available at the beach. Dolphin excursion was very good, 25 dolphins. Very nice boat ride. Beverages pop and alcohol available for purchase on boat ride. Lunch option didn't work for me because food allergies. I gave voucher to another couple who didn't purchase it with there trip. Maurici was a great guide. He explained and answered everyone questions. Excellent driver, very heavy traffic to and from Clearwater Beach. Please remember to tip your staff, they definitely deserve it. Tips can be charged.

Maurici is an excellent guide! My husband and I went on Clearwater Beach trip with lunch option, and dolphin excursion. Clearwater Beach is beautiful, a perfectly cloudy 76°, and we saw 3 dolphins at the beach. Many pelicans and other birds. He stopped on way for snacks in the morning. Lunch options all at seafood restaurants which don't work for me because of my food allergies. We simply gave them to another couple that didn't purchase the lunch option. No problem, happy to pay it forward. He suggested plenty of alternative lunch options for everyone. We had pizza and garlic knots at Little Anonthy Italian pizza was delicious, but expensive. Pizza $23, garlic knots $14, pop $5 each. Tropical Dolphin excursion with Zach and crew. Nice boat ride, very smooth water, and plenty of dolphins. We saw 24 dolphins. Beverages Pepsi products $2 and alcohol drinks for purchase on boat. Cards accepted and able to charge your tip if needed. Maurici is very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable guide. Please bring a cash tip or charge a tip for your guide. He works hard to make sure everyone happy and very heavy traffic both ways.
