It was a great time. We are beginners and Mike was very informative and reassuring! Great time.
Mike was nice to return my phone message right away and gave us complete and helpful information. Keone was extremely helpful at the launch and take out site. He gave us all the tips and tricks we needed to know for a terrific day on the water. Thank you MCE!
$60 for 2hrs non guided tour. Very nice staff and was a fantastic time. Did the self guided tour. Had to open google maps a couple times to see where exactly we were but was easy enough. Nice beach access at the end with lots of great shell finds. No public restrooms really anywhere near, especially if you are already out on the water. So definitely something to plan ahead for.
Great experience We went off to the right side of the bridge and to a little beach area. It was super beautiful
Excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and flexible. We would definitely come back! The beach is beautiful and not too far from where you launch, and the route is easy to paddle, which makes for a safe and enjoyable experience. The mangroves are absolutely spectacular and were definitely one of the highlights. Highly recommended!
Check the tides before you go. My wife and I booked a clear bottom tandem “kayak” to get the best possible opportunity for us to experience Bonita Springs and the manatees and aquatic life during our time there. The boat is basically a smaller clear canoe and is about 8’ long. I would not recommend these boats. They are very difficult to get to track straight. I’m sure it’s due to usage. However the length of the boat is a problem because the seating positions are such that you cannot help but hit oars with the other person. We were unable to paddle the boat against the tide currents for more than 45 minutes and we didn’t even reach the first checkpoint. That was extremely disappointing, as we had to let the current bring the boat back downstream to the launch area after absolutely exhausting both of us. We own kayaks and use them frequently. If we would have had a regular kayak, it still would have been pretty tough but we would have made it more than quarter mile that we did. Recommend staying away from the clear boats. The gentleman running the boat rental and tours said that we should have checked the tides prior to booking and we would have done much better. He did offer us a free hour upon our next visit but we live in Wisconsin and will most likely not be returning to the exact same location.
Had an absolute time doing this tour especially with our tour guide Doug. He was full of so much info, learned alot of things. We got to see dolphins and manatee right beside our boat which made my entire trip down here. Recommend doing this tour! You won't be disappointed. Thanks for making our trip Doug:)
My boyfriend surprised me with a kayaking activity for my birthday, and since I had never been kayaking before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m so glad we chose this experience! Doug was our guide, and he was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and shared so many fun facts throughout the tour, which I really enjoyed. He even brought cold water for us and gave us some great recommendations for lunch afterward. There was so much conversation and laughter throughout the entire tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were also lucky enough to see manatees and several different birds along the way! Overall, this was an amazing introduction to kayaking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time kayaking!
Doug was absolutely awesome! I booked this kayaking tour for my girlfriend’s birthday, and since it was her first time kayaking, I really wanted it to be a great experience. Doug definitely made that happen. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local ecosystem and made the whole tour fun and comfortable. We had great conversations, shared stories about life, and even got lucky enough to spot a manatee! By the time the tour was over, it honestly felt like I had known Doug for a lifetime. Definitely the best part of our day, no doubt. Thanks again, Doug, for making my girlfriend’s birthday and first kayaking experience so memorable. We’ll definitely be back to rent kayaks, and if Doug is available, I’d even book another tour with him. 10/10! And PS — Doug is an awesome photographer too! He got some really great pictures of us throughout the tour, which gave us even more memories to take home.
We booked the 9am self kayak tour. We didn’t get started till 9.30ish as there was a group before us. Pros: the path we were supposed to take was clear, kayaks and paddles were in great condition, wet bags were provided if needed (seemed to be free of cost), owner/staff are not picky about time cut off to return equipment, saw birds and needle fish. Cons: the ratio of staff to clients was small, the staff didn’t seem too aware of the water level in some areas of the path- the mangroves were too shallow for a tandem glass bottom kayak to pass, we didn’t see a variety of wildlife (likely due to the timing). If this is your first time kayaking in the area, I would recommend a guided tour to get the most out of it.
My first time paddle boarding and had a great experience! Friendly staff and best value for your money. Repeat customers get an hour for free so definitely will be re-booking. Paddled through mangroves then out on channel to beach where there was great shelling. Even saw a few dolphins!
We got single standard kayaks for 2 hours! Greeted well, good communication and service. Saw many different types of birds, tiny crabs on mangroves and two manatees at the beach area! Had a great time!
Very informative and we got to see dolphins! Best pricing in the area too
Saw some dolphins and the family loved it Mike was awesome
fun with family . Audrey was nice
Michael and Audrey were great and provided helpful instructions. Would definitely recommend this to anybody. Lots of fun. Great couples and family activity.
Audrey and Mike were nice and helpful. Would recommend.
Audrey and Mike were a great help!
This was very much worth the money! We loved kayaking under the mangrove tunnels and enjoyed getting to see dolphins up close! We did a self guided tour, but Audrey helped get us set up. She was really friendly, and explained the route so well we hardly had to look at the map while we were out!
Audrey and Mike are also awesome
The guys were all awesome!! This was so much fun!!
Quite a unique adventure we all loved it
They give you a map and let you explore on your own. Really enjoyed it. I will say that the last part was a little difficult because the current was trying to take us back out. I got overheated and they were quick to get me hydrated and cooled down. They were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.
It was a great activity to do while on vacation or just looking for something to do even if you live in the area! Super relaxing and comes with clear directions of the path to stay on. We stopped on the beach and found some cool shells, along with seeing a dolphin!
Had a great time! A really laid back easy and stress free experience start to finish. The guys gave us a map and we had the freedom to drift around and explore. This is a great way to be in and around water but not on a beach👍🏼
It was a good experience. We didn’t see a lot of wildlife, BUT didn’t get skunked and we saw a dolphin up close. I would recommend the colored (or non-clear) kayak, solely due to the foot pedals. Otherwise it was an easy fun experience. Would do it again either earlier or later in the day.
My family had a fantastic time! We went out in the morning before the midday heat and it was beautiful on the water and through the mangroves. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience and I’d recommend to others.
Awesome trip - Doug was a fun knowledgeable guide. Would definitely do again.
We had a great experience until we were in one of the tight tunnels and the oar snapped in half while trying to maneuver, thankfully our group had a tandem so we had and extra oar 🙌🏼 But beware they charged us $79 to replace it! That leaves a bad review for us!
Doug was great with assisting us. We enjoyed the nature, beautiful views, seeing the wildlife, the beach area to swim.
Really fun experience! Ethan and Mike were great.
This was awesome would highly recommend to any family or couple getaway
They were quick and informative to get us in the water and hassel free when we came back. The map was helpful and the mangrove route added a little adventure. It was a great and not overpriced experience.
Lovely, personable people. They go out of their way to be helpful. Went out two times from this location, saw dolphins both times! Great experience!
Shout out to Keoni and Doug! Had a good time and process was easy.
My husband and I had a wonderful time. We booked the guided tour with Doug. He was amazing. We learned so much about the environment. Conversation was easy and flowing the whole trip. He was very accommodating and genuine. 10/10 would book again!
Awesome kayak through beautiful mangroves and canals, our guide Keone was so helpful and kind! 100% would recommend and can't wait to share with friends again!
So fun!! We got to see dolphins!
I had car issues and I arrived late and Mike worked with me and was super understanding . However I spent $75 for 3 people and it was not worth 25 a piece maybe 10 or 15 didn’t see a single animal and the trip was literally 20 minutes. Parking sucked get there early to avoid walking a distance. Otherwise super easy trip I don’t feel like it was worth $75.
Great experience, Mike is really nice and everything was very easy to understand. The loop for kayaking was gorgeous and we saw dolphins.
Mike is super sweet! He was very knowledgeable about the area and had dry bags for our stuff as well as a map with common wildlife.
Mike is awesome! 👏 saw manatee
Great beaches and waterways plus very helpful with the map.
Awesome way to explore on your own
Audrey’s an expert at helping your friends find their phones when they’re dropped in the water.
Location was easy to find and everything was set up for us when we got there. Mike gave us clear instructions and the map was easy to follow. We booked the kayaks for a full day and spent about 3.5 hours paddling around and going to the beach. There was plenty of room on the kayaks for our dry bag and a small soft sided cooler.
Relaxing kayak trip easy to follow map on self guided trip. Pleasant company to work with
Nice relaxing pace. No dolphins or manatees, but jumping fish and many bird sightings. Fun 2 hours. Recommend wearing g water shoes for when you stop at a nearby shore. Lots of shells to enjoy.
So much fun! Will be back! Absolutely a blast going through the tunnels and Mike made it very easy to just follow the map! Super helpful!
