Clear Kayak Or Paddleboard Manatee Adventure

The park is awesome with lots to see. We were able to see manatees, alligators, otters and several species of birds (no monkeys). If we do this one again, we will go closer to December to ensure the manatees have fully migrated so we can see more. Well worth it regardless. Roger was our tour guide and he was awesome.

The guide, Ben, was extremely knowledgeable about the manatees, wildlife and the history of Silver Springs. We took the tour in October 2026. We were informed the manatees migrate inland November to March we did see four on our trip. The monkeys were active. There were many birds, turtles and a couple of alligators who kept their distance. I would recommend bringing a seat cushion for the kayak as there's are thin. A very enjoyable experience.

We had a great time! Out guide really livened up our group! We saw manatees right away and had plenty of time to enjoy all the other wildlife and stunning scenery!! We will definitely return!

Ben our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable for the area. We saw everything . Manatee,alligators,monkeys,turtles and some very beautiful birds. We drove down from Kissimmee and the hr and 40 minute trip was well worth it. Had a 4 yr old and 6 yr old in the group and they thought it was grand.

Ben was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the animals and history. He made our adventure great! We went off season but still saw manatees, monkeys, gators and more. Definitely recommend Epic Adventures!!

We had a wonderful tour and experience with Roger on 9/13 at 1130. It was a beautiful kayak trip and the perfect size.

Great day with Ben… only the 3 of us on the tour so Ben able to give us his full attention. Very knowledgeable with loads of interesting facts about the wild life and history of the Silver Springs system. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see any resident Manatee’s on our trip but plenty of gators, monkeys, turtles, birds and fish found. Thank you again Ben for a great experience

We had a great experience with Bob and Roger. There were only 2 of us for the 9am tour on Wednesday morning and they gave us their full attention and lots of facts. We saw a manatee, several bird species, monkeys, and a couple of gators. This was such a fun experience with great tour guides. It was easy to find, quick parking, and guides were ready for us when we pulled up at 8:30am. I would highly recommend this tour.

it was a very nice experience. the admission few was 18 dollars for 3 of us. we had a 2 hour kayaking tour. the atmosphere was very inviting and welcoming. the staff, we had Rodger was wonderful. the size of the crowd was 7 of us on the water not including the guide, i would say this is best for those who just wanna be outside and see some mantises

It's a lot of fun!!!! My 3 teenagers loved it. It is a bit of a workout. You have to be able to paddle and get out of the kayak.

We paddled in a clear kayak, which made it easy to see the beautiful, crystal-clear water and all the fish below us. Along the way we saw alligators, a wide variety of birds, and the best part of all—the monkeys! It was such a unique and unforgettable adventure. The Clear Kayak or Paddleboard Manatee Adventure was well organized from start to finish, and the experience was both relaxing and exciting. Very relaxing, saw a lot of animals, fish, birds and turtles. Mary was our guide and she was great! Full of information and pleasant personality.

Manatee season is only November -March. The river is beautiful and our guide did a great job of pointing out wildlife and trying to make it interesting despite lack of manatees. We still had a nice time, but we had expectations that we would be kayaking with manatees based on the website’s description.

Manatees are seasonal , found out at the end of the tout that they come in the winter. So we did not see any. But tour guide was amazing.

Roger was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the springs, animals and birds in the area, manatee, alligators, and things that have taken place in the area (think movies). He was friendly and encouraging while we kayaked down the river. Seeing Divine (pregnant manatee) and several alligators were the highlights of our tour! Say YES to this tour!

A little knowledge of how to paddle is good...but not necessary. The pace is nice and slow...expect to get a little wet. The guides were very knowledgeable about the area!

My husband & I did the clear manatee & monkey kayaking experience. We were so excited and Roger(our guide) was wonderful & full of knowledge. Helped anyone and everyone along the way. It was worth the money and we are definitely trying it again.

Very disappointed with this experience. This is a misleading advertisement. Please, change excursion title. We booked this tour expecting to see manatees and monkeys (as described in title) and unfortunately we did not see neither one.

This is a fantastic experience and is made even better if you happen to get the guide named Roger. Best to arrive early and pay your park fee and then find Roger who will give you the rest of the details.

We had an absolutely amazing time kayaking at silver springs! A beautiful spot with tons of wildlife, can’t wait to go back.

It was fun and engaging. Sadly we didn’t see much wild life but Stevie and Ben were great guides and very informative.

This was very cool. We saw many birds and alligators, there was even seven turtles sunbathing in a row.

My family went on the Monkeys and manatees tour. The 9am first tour was best choice because when we got out of the kayak at 11am it was sooo busy people and boats clogging up everywhere. Clear boats were not clear but cloudy white. Life jackets were old school boxy orange ones, wet and dirty. It was suggested we sit on them for comfort because you sit directly on the boat bottom with thin seat, seat back was adjustable and high enough for good support. We were at the end of manatee migration so we did not see any manatees or monkeys, which we knew ahead of time but thought maybe we will get lucky. Guide was interesting and informative. We saw gators, otters, and a huge variety of birds. This may seem like a bad review but we really enjoyed it and it was the highlight of our trip. It was fun, adventurous, beautiful nature, and fabulous weather. We would go again but i would only pay full price during manatee season for guaranteed sightings. Not manatee season, opt for a lower cost tour.

We had a great tour with Steven. He was very knowledgeable and informative. It wasn’t a good time of year for manatees, but we saw a variety of birds and lots of alligators. We will come back when it’s colder to see manatees.

Had a wonderful time on our kayak adventure! The 2-person kayak was stable and easy to maneuver, the water was amazingly clear and beautiful, and our guide Stevie made it so much fun! Stevie shared with us many interesting facts about the history of the area. We saw a gator on the shore, many wood ducks and beautiful birds up close! It rained some of the time but the temperature remained warm, so the rain just added to the adventure! We did not see any manatees (probably because of the rain), but we loved the experience! Very cool! :)

A perfect day! Bob & Roger were wonderful guides. Informative, helpful & fun. We saw four manatees, a few gators, a handful of monkeys and a lot of birds and had a great time. I definitely recommend bringing a change of clothes - it rained - and we loved every minute of it.

Ben was good with the education of the area and pointing out the different species and made it fun. However, having the tourist carry the kayaks to/from the launch and pay launch fee with other costs was a bit much.

Our guide was funny and informative. It is easy paddling and so beautiful. The manatees were not in our exact area the day we went, but the monkeys were! They were so cute. Lots of alligators, beautiful birds, turtles. My whole family enjoyed this outing.
