The guide was excellent and the trip well worth it I would highly recommend it to everyone for a fun time
Our family recently did a clear-bottom kayak tour out of Sarasota, and we absolutely loved it! From the initial booking process to the moment we pulled away after the tour, everything was smooth sailing. They were a pleasure to work with, and we will definitely be booking another tour with them! Our tour guide, Olivia, was amazing! She was incredibly accommodating with my boys, ages 8, 7, and 5, and made sure they were engaged and having fun the entire time. She was extremely knowledgeable about the local sea life and did such a great job sharing that knowledge with us. We had manatees swimming right next to our kayaks for just about the entire tour, which was such an incredible experience! Olivia even went out of her way to get out of her kayak and dig around for cool shells and smaller marine life, like sea urchins, so the boys could see them up close. They absolutely loved it! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially for families with kids!
Not sure if it was just the one particular night we went on this tour, but we saw basically nothing. Saw A couple large whelks, but that was about it. Ended up stopping at a small island and everyone got out and walked around using their cell phone lights. Stayed there for 20+ minutes. I think the guide knew we weren’t going to see anything in the water so he was killing time. Waste of money. I do wonder if it’s better during the day.
Larry was great and very informative. Made it really fun and easy. We were able to see a once in a lifetime family of dolphins up close in action and swimming under our kayak. Also We were able to find various awesome shells and found one shell that he said was the 2nd biggest anyone has ever found. Time went by too fast ! Thanks Larry !
Natascha was an excellent guide. We didn't get to see a lot of marine life, but she kept the group engaged and entertained.
Knowledgeable, extremely qualified guide (Natascha) is the primary reason to do this tour. Also just fun to get in a boat and paddle around in the water. Clear plastic boats not terribly comfortable but functional. Expect to get at least partially wet while paddling. No guarantee to see interesting water creatures but we saw crabs, various birds, fish, anemone's and a sort of jellyfish. Not exhausting or intense, slow-paced and relaxing.
We were rebooked 3x by the company and then they completely cancelled. It was the one excursion we planned for and they don’t respond to calls at all and after we reached out by message they cancelled completely, after speaking with locals. Maybe they should retire, sounds as if they are sick of there own business!!
We’ll run and relaxing kayak your. Plenty to see. Caught and released shrimp, crabs, and tons of shells. Saw plenty of wildlife, but did not get to see a manatee this time, but folks on the pier we passed saw one just a few minutes before we went by. Cat did a great job of getting us all out and back safely. Had a Cormorant that was with us basically the whole time diving and catching its own fish and then swallowing them so we all could see. Quite the showbird! Got the moniker “Corky” since we felt we had to give it a nickname since it was with us so much.
Larry was an awesome tour guide however didn’t see one sea animal and they moved our time to middle of day when it was even hotter out. Not really worth the money…. I should have chosen night tour
John did an amazing job! We loved the net fishing part :) It was very safe and fun and we left with some really cool photos. We got to see manatees, starfish, sea horses and shrimp!
When it got dark. Very cool seeing the water and crabs, fish, and vegetation. The boats all lit up set the mood.
The information here in trip advisor was wrong. Nobody showed up on the meeting place. After calling the operator they redirected us to a differnet place half an hour away. So we lost half an hour of the tour. The guide was nice and we liked it to paddle arround in the bay. Unluckily on that day we did not spot anything. I probably would recommend to do the night tour because the guide told us that there is normally more to see.
Kevin was great! Easy communication and booking was a breeze. Went with a group of women and it was so much fun. Kevin was knowledgeable about the marine life and surrounding area. We would definitely book again!
Kevin was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable about marine life. He was super friendly. We saw dolphins and a manatee and lots of marine life.
Great tour. We really enjoyed it. Kevin was very knowledgeable. We saw lots of animals and birds and plenty of time to hang out in the kayaks and swim if you wanted to.
Amy was AMAZING!!! She took time to explain things and let it be OUR tour. We got to see a manatee and several dolphins. It was so relaxing and she was a great guide. I would do this tour again
My husband and I had a great time on this tour! Saw lots of different sea life. Paige and Larry were great tour guides! Super friendly and knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend this tour!!
Kayaking with the manatees. Seeing all of the Florida birds and wildlife. The guides were very informative and went out of the way to make sure everyone on the tour had a safe and fun experience.
They were great. They really were funny and joked with us and made us laugh. I had a really good time on the boat and I thought it was cool they were see through.
The see-through kayaks were quite novel but there wasn't much to see. It would have been more impressive when they are lit up at night. The guides were attentive.
Janette and Jake were amazing, can not recommend them enough! They were friendly and professional and made sure we were having a great time!
It was really fun and Amy was a great guide. We got to see a lot of local species and learned a lot during our time. The snails were epic.
Amy was an awesome tour guide! We had great, relaxing kayak trip. Amy was super knowledgeable about local wildlife and ecology. She showed us some cool sites around the area and was super nice!
What an amazing day!! Tyler was very informative, and entertaining. A must do if you are in Sarasota.
I took my son and nephew (adults )on vacation) had good time so went the next week with a friend and her grandkids We had Max as out tour guide He was great , so I requested him the second time
We booked on line, and timed it great as Facebook was offering a $30pp deal - I’m not sure we would have booked it at $60pp for 90 minutes but at $30 it was a no brainer! Our good luck continued as the owner was flying a drone and was able to radio our super lovely tour guide Danielle directly over loads (20+) manatees which was a wonderful experience. We also saw some local birds and the commentary from the tour guide (speaker in the back of each kayak) was informative and appreciated. This was a wonderful trip, setting off from near the Sarasota mote aquarium.
Max was a good guide and very knowledgeable. Glad it was only 90 minutes b/c kids were worn out quickly…..We booked through Viator.com and they booked us for the wrong time. I called the morning of our trip and they scheduled us for close to same time as original time but had to drive almost an hour to get there. We should’ve just taken refund b/c wasn’t worth all that driving and we could’ve just rebooked with a closer place. Try to book directly with company instead of using Viator.
