The tour left 40 minutes late. Then we stopped at a gas station for fuel. The bus was very old, dirty and on the verge of unsafe. We were rushed through all of our "stops" to make up for the late departure. We finally get to the boat part of our tour which was held up 45minutes for our group (very unhappy people on the boat). All and all, this was a horrible experience and I will not recommend this fiasco to anyone. Refunds were denied at the beginning or we would not have even started the tour.

This was my 2nd tour in 2 days that the bus seemed like it had seen its better days. The tour of the city was fine and our guide was very nice. During the course of the tour we were informed we were stopping for ice cream and that didn't happen because of traffic. We were than told that we were going to stop for a Mojito and a Cubano sandwich. Personally, I think there was a lot of confusion about who was paying for the food and drinks, which ended up being us. I felt bad for the waitress and the musican playing, because I know they were looking for tips and nobody left a dime. The worst part of the whole tour started with the boat tour, which was a water taxi. We had to walk all through the Bayside Market to get there and there was all sorts of confusion and the guide basically dumping us at this kiosk and yelling as he walked away to be back where we got off the bus by 4:45. There was pretty much mass confusion surrounding trying to board the boat, the guy loading us was pretty surly about and bitching at us about not being in a line and people not properly processing their tickets. The boat tour was OK, you get to see the houses of celebrities who no longer own them. The 2 guys running the boat were a lot of fun during the tour. The real problem with the whole tour started after the boat tour ended at about 3. I hustled myself back to where we were supposed to meet up with the bus. I was probably close to an hour and a half early so I started wandering around the market. I got back to the bus loading area about 4:30 where I had a number of other people from the tour approach me and ask what time we were supposed to be picked up. One of the other people from the tour group called and was told they would be there in 10 minutes. Well, they finally showed up and we were not allowed to board, because they had people on board going for the sightseeing boat. The guide and these people ran off to the boat. The bus sat there idling for an hour and 15 minutes and finally headed back to the original pickup point about 6:45.
The tour was not as advertised. We got on the water taxi at Bayside Marketplace but did not have the hour to look around or shop. We did not go to Wynwood Walls to see the art or take pictures. The tour was not worth the money.
Great tour def will recommended Miami city tour plus Miami boat tour awesome things to see decently reckmeng
Bus tour was cancelled due to weather with no advance notification. This was after spending $40 to get there from our hotel. We did notice a competing bus tour traveling the area however.
Tour covered a lot of locations and boat ride which was great however we booked for 11 am and they rescheduled us to a 10 am tour the night before and had us wait for an hour. Bus ended up leaving at 11 am, so that was a wasted hour during our trip where we could have been doing something else and not rushing to pick up location
Two things, one, an air conditioned, at least bottom level of the bus. And two a little more time at the stops.
Had a great time.tour guide was fabulas and friendly only thing about the tour was we weren't expecting to wait an hour for our boat
The office was very unorganized and understaffed. There was a gentleman that rode a motorcycle in and out of the office that didn't seem to care if people waiting inside the office were in the way. We soon found out he must have been the manager/owner. When we had a rain delay of 30-45 minutes, some customers were unhappy about their trip and this motorcycle guy was very rude and unhelpful to them. When we finally left the office, the land bus driver was very informative and kind. He apologized about the rain delay and change of itinerary. He was a wealth of knowledge about little Cuba and the city. He was excellent! We also took the boat ride. It was excellent. The guide was very information about the rich and famous houses that were on the shoreline. The return bus driver was very informative, punctual on picking us up and helpful on finding our way back to where we had parked. Would I book through this company again - maybe if this is the only company that offers this package. But expect unorganized and slow service in the office and if you have any complaints, don't expect a pleasant resolution to them.
This company Miami tickets and tours are liars and cheaters. They charged us for half day city tour including the boat ride then the boat company made us pay again for the boat ride when we were brought there one hour early at the boat site. The boat company showed us the texts that they had sent to them regarding this as we didn’t know that we had to pay again as the tour company did not inform us. Also the double decker bus had no air conditioning in the bottom portion as stated in the description. They even took one dollar each from us at their office for the boat ride. This whole experience was not good. Why not tell us the truth
Guide was informative and entertaining. He kept us engaged. Liked the stop in winwood for ice cream and little Havana for a bite to eat. His recommendations were perfect. The boat taxi was great. Again a great guide. A fun afternoon!!
You get what you pay for. Horrible sound system. Lots of "Paid for sponsored tourist" stops. Not a lot of interesting information. Lots of stops in the worst parts of town. I wanted an exciting view of Miami. I got a glimpse of Wow, with a lot of hellscape.
If you want to learn anything about Miami, this tour ain’t it. If you want to ride in a sun-washed open top bus and let the wind blow your hair, buy a ticket! Most of the tour was in Spanish and my husband could not enjoy it (was not a Spanish tour btw). After the tour where the guide rarely talked, the bus threw us out in tourist hell market with AI food that is 60$/meal for three hours before our boat tour. It was over-packed and soaked from a storm and afterwards the tour guide started walking around with QR codes begging for tips. It was so scammy.
Good tour, wear a hat and sunglasses with sun screen. Company needs to fix the speakers on the upper deck. They sound like crap.
There was a boat ride and no details about the bus ride. Had to abandon the tour in 2 hours. Did so as it was better than going back to the start point
The double-decker tour and boat ride were awesome. You definitely get your money's worth. It was the perfect trip for my grandchildren, who always wanted to visit Miami for the first time. I've been many times but never had the opportunity to take a tour. The staff was very friendly, and we met some nice people.
The bus has seen much better days, with the seats almost feeling unsafe if we crashed, with metal poles sticking up on the back of most seats that you could hit your head on. The boat had a problem with its sound system, every time the guide went to speak there was a high screeching noise first. The staff were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable.
The actual office was closed on the Sunday we visited, however the driver and tour guide will assist with any needs. Tour guide was very helpful and walked us to the boat dock.
Very good experience, very good and informative tour guide. Was able to visit Calle 8 and see how they actually make the tobacco cigars by hand.
Terrible communication, bus driver failed to pick the whole group up from last stop. Had to Uber back to office. Manager hung upon us 3 times. Never offered to compensate for Uber.
Do not book with this company. Highly unprofessional and unorganized. Tour left over 45 minutes late. Then stranded a group of us when the bus never picked us back up! When we called the office to find out when the bus was coming, they told us to call back in 10 minutes. Then, close the office and quit taking phone calls. When we returned via Uber to the office the door was locked, but we could clearly see employees at the counter, who told us they'd be with us in a moment, then, sprinted into the back room, shut off the lights and disappeared. The tour itself was okay. There was no air conditioning in the lower level of the bus. There were broken windows and it was dirty. The tour guide did their best, but it was very difficult to hear. And english was clearly not their first language. Do not book with this company.
Driver was more focus on taking us to his friends places for drinks and food. No clear direction to board the cruise.
Absolutely horrible experience. Our tour was supposed to leave at 1:00 p.m., and at 2:15 p.m., we were still waiting. There were no apologies or explanations—just yelling, cursing, and complete chaos. We eventually decided to leave. I absolutely do not recommend this company. Negative five stars!
Interesting sites, but we were on top and could hardly hear the guide. Also, everyone on top many times had to duck due to low tree branches were were driving under.
being dropped off at Bayside we were marched off through the underground carpark and rushed up to a restaurant. Told that the boat was down the bottom of the stairs outside. The boat was not there and we asked a crew member is this our boat to be told no it was over the other side of the marina. back from the boat trip we had trouble finding the flags for the pickup but were told our buss didn't pick up from there. time was now short and by shear luck I spoke to a ticket information man who was able to help us. He escorted us out of the complex to where the coach was going to pick us up. As an 86 yr old and my wife 75 yr old needing a walking stick we were not happy with the lack of clear instructions.
The bus tour was perfect, saw and learned alot. The water taxi was not as great we were tokd to wait/check in 15 min before 1pm yet the water taxi didnt arrive until it was time to leave.
Our tour supposed to include a boat tour but they cancelled the boat ride without telling us about the cancellation. We waited for 2 hours for the boat that never show up.We had to buy another boat ride which cost us another $57. The front desk shows no urgency to the people in line about the tour. I hear them behind talking in the but noone is coming to out to tend the customer in front. Upon learning from other boat tour provider, they dont pay the boats giving their the rides.
The tour was fun and informative, gave us areas of where we wanted to go back and spend more time during our visit.
This bus trip should be done on the first day of getting to Miami Beach. It gives you a good sneak peek to a place you want to go back again and spend more time on.
I would not book with this company again. The bus was old and the seats missing pieces and not very clean. Almost missednout on the boat tour because of lack of communication with the boat captain
It's a great way to see some of the neighborhood , although a stop at the beach would have made it better.
It was a bit rushed - half a day tour is not enough. The buses are not well maintained. Carpets were rundown, there were no fans and the tour guide was a bit unfriendly and at one point, did not give the sample coffee (visit to Havana) to our other companions in the group. Boat tour was okay, although we got tired of looking at rich people's mansions along the river. Perhaps if there were interesting landmarks other than people's houses, it would have been educational. A cool bottle of water would have been appreciated esp in the sweltering afternoon heat.
Overall the experience was okay if we overlooked the inconveniences. If you sit on top on the bus, be prepared to be slapped in the face/head with branches and leaves. One branch smacked my daughter hard and left her in pain. The bottom inside of the bus had no AC and windows were shut on this 90 degree sunny day. The speakers were horrible at the top so we couldn’t hear much of the tour or driver’s instructions. Everyone appeared to be just as lost as us when we made stops for pictures/drinks/food. One family was left behind due to poor instructions. Halfway through, we were walked to our boat cruise. No instructions were given on our pickup spot after the boat cruise. Many of us were left stranded after the boat portion. No response to my messages sent in the app to the tour guide. I goggled and found a number to the Miami Tours and the lady hung up in my face while I was explaining to her that our group is lost and looking for our bus to pick us up. I called back a 2nd time, she told me to tell the group to wait, a bus would be there in 1 hour in a half. This was around 5pm after having been in the hot sun on the tour since 12pm. Many families including mine ended up paying for our own rides back to drop off point. Try another company. I saw other buses with shaded tops on the bus to prevent branches smacking you in the face and provide some shade from the sun. The other buses looked newer and nicer. The boat cruise was an old private ship looking boat that looked like it needed work or you would find at a carnival fair. It was hideous. It’s not the nice boats you see on the photos.
NO AC on the bus as advertised, it was extremely uncomfortable in Miami of all places. The windows will not open and are dirty and cracked , did not take any photos for that reason. This company needs to do better.
We had a very nice tour guide. However, the tour started 45 minutes late which caused us shorter times at the planned stops. I was disappointed that we only got 15 minutes at Waywood when it should have been 30 minutes and only 30 minutes in Little Havana when it should’ve been an hour. It didn’t leave us much time to explore or even grab lunch. Also, don’t plan for air conditioning inside the bus. There was none. It was hotter inside than sitting on top.
Covered all basics, and thats all. Stops at commision should be avoided in my opinion, overall an ok excursion, but could be improved.
The tour company only told us, while checking in, that the boat portion of the tour had been cancelled but we could come back tomorrow for that portion: we had flights the next day and could not return - no credit, partial refund, nothing offered.
Bus was not air conditioned. It was old with cracked windows. It ran 30 minutes behind. The narrator was hard to understand. It did not stop at all stops. One locale was closed. Owner unapologetic. Boat was slightly better. But also hot, older, and narrator hard to understand, especially constantly switching between English and Spanish. Sights, however, were moderately interesting.
It was great, but the driver never picked us up to bring us back to the location where we were picked
The tour was nice. Our guide, Pablo, was awesome. However, air conditioned bus was questionable, lol.
Everything was great and I would recommend this experience to anyone in Miami, I really enjoyed the tour
First off FALSE ADVERTISING. The bus had zero air conditioning and 2 very big emergency exit windows were swinging, had broken glass and slamming back and forth. Complete hazard especially if a child were sitting near them and got a finger or arm in there. So the bus was super HOT. You could not understand the guide with either how he talked in the microphone or speaker system. So you are touring spots and have no idea what he is saying. May as well have been a digital recording and maybe we would have had a chance to understand what sights we were seeing. We got dropped off at the Bayside Market to explore and get on our next tour via boat ride. The photos advertised first of all was a nice conservative looking white double decker boat. When the tour guide on the bus was dismissing us off the bus, he told us to go to the PIRATE SHIP at 1:15p for our 1:30p boat tour. It was never advertised as a CHEESY PIRATE SHIP. Then we wait in the line in the Miami heat just to be told by that company that they no longer as of 3 days do business with the Miami bus tour company because they haven’t been paying them. So many of us that purchased this tour through the Miami Tours.com were very upset. We had to pay for our own transportation back to the meet up spot in front of their business which low and behold had closed its doors. They weren’t receiving phone calls and just abandoned their establishment. We filed a dispute and We hope to be getting a refund but won’t know for a week. Best ad use is to find a reputable business or uber/lyft yourself to the sites you want to see. There are also plenty of onsite tours right at the Bayside area. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MAIMI TOURS.COM. How aweful and such a waste of our travel time and experience
Don’t waste your money on this tour, there is better ways of seeing Miami Guide was rude Bus was in a very bad way (front window smashed with barrier tape over front Rushed everywhere and taken to places for samples and end up having to pay for them so if you book this tour and have a mojito it will cost (3 non alcoholic and one alcoholic nearly $60 (not explained there is a charge) Boat trip ok and quite informative but on a very old boat. Overall could have done everything at our own pace using buses for a fraction of the cost and without the rudeness and obsession with the colour stickers they give you to make sure your supposed to be on the bus Staff in shop not interested and also rude and just giggle at each other
The tour did not match what was advertised on the website, and it was a disappointing experience overall. The biggest issue was that there was no air conditioning on the lower level of the bus. On top of that, passengers were not allowed to bring food or drinks onboard. Given the lack of air conditioning, not being allowed to bring a bottle of water was unreasonable and made the ride very uncomfortable. The ticket office also does not have a restroom, which would have been helpful to know before arriving. Another disappointment was the amount of walking. The tour involved much more walking than what was described in the "What's Included" section for the Miami/Miami Beach tour. This made it difficult for my 80-year-old mother. The one highlight was the staff. Both the bus tour guide and the boat tour guide were knowledgeable, friendly, and provided interesting information throughout the tours. The boat tour was enjoyable and was the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, the end of the day left a bad impression. While I was helping my 80-year-old mother into my van, another bus tour driver from another bus company repeatedly honked at us while we were parked, despite seeing that I was assisting an elderly passenger. The interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. Overall, I would not recommend this tour, especially for families with elderly travelers or anyone expecting the experience described on the website. The boat tour is the only part I would recommend.
Very good tour. Enjoyed the site. The tour rep was lively and made the trip enjoyable. Boat tour on pirate ship was also very good. Only recommendation please fix the air conditioner on the bus. Most passengers sat upstairs. You’d get many more customers.
It’s all going Alrite until we got left that the marketplace cause their bus broke down and had to pay 60 dollars in a taxi would not recommend
This tour is waste of money. Zero value for money. The original tour was 3 hrs 30 min which they brought down to 2 hrs 30 min out of which 45 minutes wasted in ice cream shop and lunch stop. There was no commentary at all. Buses are having uncomfortable seating. They told there is AC on first level which was false.
Waited in line where signs said to wait and others ignored and walked to the street. Was told by staff we would get on first and we were the first ones there. Well, it didn’t happen and everyone on the street got on first so I waited “in line” for nothing. Also the guy who was our guide (not the bus driver, he was fine) talked about getting drunk on the stops and my kids were convinced he was drunk. When we got dropped off for the boat part of the cruise he disappeared on us twice. The first time maybe he forgot something but who knows. We were all looking for him wondering where he was then we saw him running towards us from the bus. Wasn’t impressed with the guide at all. Also we were supposed to get a double decker bus and ended up with a single deck bus with no shade from the sun. There were no awnings on the bus like the other ones. Also did not expect to be on an old pirate boat, but a much nicer one. Itinerary didn’t mention a pirate boat either. Paid ahead of time for this trip and then was told when got there would owe a service charge. Totally unexpected as it wasn’t mentioned on the website (at least I didn’t see it) that I would owe more money when I got there.
Little Havana a must see.. great gift shop and coffee Great tour, beautiful history, awesome boat ride on the pirate ship.. Bring rain poncho just in case of rain
Very cost effective and friendly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful to others. Awesome day it was.
