Calypso Breeze Daytime Tropical Buffet

We had a great time. We were not able to hear the original commentary while we had our lunch below deck. The food was really good for a buffet. Better than we expected. The staff were all very friendly and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves. A very relaxing boat ride and loved the upper deck and the view.

Boat ride was nice. All of the employees were attentive and kind!! All Twelve in our party really enjoyed the food. We all had a lovely day!!

It is well worth it. One for the books and we would definitely do it again. The staff was supper friendly and attentive to anything we needs. Kudos to Jaz and Julie the twins for being our severs for the day.

The food was good. Captain very knowledgeable, server very attentive. Overall it was a fun adventure.

We took the trip this past Saturday and the workers were excellent. The food was good except the black beans were a little dry. But all in all it was a great little ride.

Worth the money for free alcohol and a little boat trip on the water! Got to see dolphins! Was about 2 hours from start to finish!

My husband and I were interested in an activity that ran from John's Pass. We picked the Calypso Breeze lunch tour. So happy we did! Had a great lunch buffet and tour of the waterways. After we ate, we took our rum punch to the top level to enjoy the scenery. Saw many dolphins playing in the water. I would recommend this tour!

A really nice way to see the bay along with some great properties along the waterline. The captain was informative & the buffet lunch was amazing.

Good experience overall! Easy to find and access boat. Parking is short distance from entry to boat. Very nice workers! Food and drinks were tasty!

We drove 3 hours from the FL east coast and check in at their ticket office about 2 minutes prior to the 12:30 departure time. The Calypso Rep. took my name and told me the tour had been cancelled because there were not enough customers. He did offer to book me on the evening cruise, which I declined due to our other commitments. He said he would give me a refund but could not do it right then or provide any kind of receipt. I feel a phone call or at least a text letting me know it had been cancelled should have happened. I have requested a refund through the Viator web site and received an auto reply acknowledging my request and said it could take 2 weeks.

Very bad experience even they called we tell the office we're on our way they left us and loose our money my kids cried I will never be late again at least they supposed to give back Half of the money

The boat never disappoints! Yummy food, nice vibe. A few free drinks. It was raining but it didn’t matter. We will go again.

We're 4 little old ladies who decided to go on a "Staycation" to the beach. The Calypso Breeze was a nice way to have a little lunch on the water. We stayed on the Intercoastal Waterway which gave us a wonderful view of all the rich people's houses! The food was good, the drinks were free and we totally enjoyed the trip

Did the cruise once before and it was a great experience but it was not so much this time. The cruise should have the same experience throughout the day for every cruise as there’s no real experience before the dinner cruise

The scenery was great and the food was better than I expected. The server, Steve, did a great job. I always had a beer in my hand.

Food, vibe, and great customer service....definitely something we will do again but with more family and friends

Food and service was spot on. Buffet can be hit or miss but this was perfect. Enough choices for everyone but not so much that you were overwhelmed. All of the food was delicious and not the same old boring fare. Our server was great and very attentive but not hovering. The cruise itself was very relaxing.

The view was great and the drinks. Wish it was a bit more scenery instead of houses and it was fun to explore.

The food was good. The boat not good since it never left the dock due to steering issues. Although they issued a half refund, the meal itself was not worth almost $50 for 2 buffets along with time wasted.

Beautiful location. Water was incredible. We had wonderful weather. Wasn’t too hot because of the wind.

We enjoyed all of it! Food was good, crew was friendly. We got to see some awesome views and beautiful homes on the water. Also got to see several dolphins.

Table service for drinks was very helpful. No long lines at the bar. I wish we would've gone to top deck before eating. We were one of the last tables chosen to go to the buffet. By the time we ate the cruise was on it's way back to port so we had very little time to go outside and enjoy the beautiful day on the water. Food was very good and had a great variety. They even had vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options posted at the buffet.

So relaxing and fun. Even the dolphins enjoyed swimming alongside the boat. I was amazed at how good the buffet food was. Honestly I expected something bland because the tickets were cheap but it was delicious! They play nice music, the guy comes on every now and then for some fun facts and you'll do a circle around the interior of the bay so you will see all the big houses, parks, crazy kids on their jet skis, the drunk boaters waving at you like crazy people, etc., all while you're relaxing with a glass of wine and a full belly. It's really quite a value. The interior is air conditioned and there are large private bathrooms. Please tip the staff. I saw so many people stiffing them on a tip. I felt bad for them.

Food was delicious. Staff was attentive. Love the unlimited rum punch and fountain drinks. The vibe on the upper deck was great. I recommend this experience.

It was raining but we did enjoyed the ride, the food and the great view. Also we were able to see some dolphins at the end of the ride. It was a nice experience!

The food was amazing. I loved how you could move around the decks to see different views. We got to see other boaters on our cruise. We had stunning views and even got to see dolphins on the trip. The staff goes above and beyond. I want to do this again with a larger party of people. This would be great for family adventurer or private parties.

The dining buffet area was too hot during lunch cruise, didn't see any dolphins so don't take lunch cruise if expecting to see dolphins. Food was ok.

Nothing like the quality pre-Covid at Clearwater Calypso. Cold food- mediocre choices. However, beverage service was good. Could not hear narrative. Nothing impressive along route. Cost $229.55 for 5 adults. 3 of which were young teens. Wasn’t worth even half that. Won’t go again.

None it stunk worst trip ever. Not worth 10 dollars lousey trrrible boring nothing good to say about it except waitresses

When I saw the dolphins relaxing outside in the cool breeze. Meeting new people. The food was incredible.

Professional and friendly crew start to finish. Buffet was tasty. Easy parking and ticket pick up. After eating we enjoyed our open air third level viewing of Boca Ciega Bay. We would definitely do this < 3hr experience again.

I enjoy the ride on the water and the scenery but did not hear the captain there was too much noise. Also the food was good but was very cold. I was there for the experience so I could get my church group on the ride also.

Got cancelled due to the weather wish we had a good time maybe. Exr tims ee coxme back we will try to do it again

We arrive at 11:45 because my husband uses a walker and I use a scooter. My sister in law got to the boat and a young man with a bread yelled at her that they would not let anyone on till noon and she tried to explain he could not stand that long but he did not want to hear it. This kinda put a damper on our trip.
