When you walk into the candy store itself, it is huge and nicely maintain. It had some Halloween decorations, which was fun. Everyone was very polite and our guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. If you have children, beware that they are going to want everything! There are some samples along the way, and that keeps you sated until the big purchase! There is no pressure to buy and samples or always optional. They’ll be putting in an ice cream parlor soon and that will truly be a good addition. I will say, as a senior, seeing all the candies that I liked as a kid brought back a lot of fond memories.

Tour was canceled the day before, but NOT before they took my payment. I was told to come to the tour one hour later because they didn't have a guide for the 12:30pm tour. This did not work with my schedule. I requested a refund both the day before and the day of the tour. I communicated directly with the store over the phone. If you are going to offer limited tours on limit days you should be prepared to meet those commitment. It is unprofessional to cancel simply because you cannot properly schedule a guide to give the tour. I booked this tour several days in advance. It has been two weeks and Viator has not received notice of the cancelation or my refund request.
My 10 y/o daughter and I enjoyed the tour and the store was brilliant. Fun atmosphere, good prices, excellent selection, we loved it!
There are soooo many different candies & popcorn, plus you can make your own peanut butter cups. They make their own chocolate. They offer tours. I bought many different pieces of candy reminiscent of my youth. You can buy just your favorite flavor of toosie pops, jelly beans or whatever candy you might want. There are probably 20 different popcorns that you can get in separate flavors or mixed. They allow you to sample the different flavors. There are many sizes to buy.
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Annika was great. She was very informative and had a great personality. She made the visit so interesting. We also enjoyed seeing the candies of our childhood.
We had the best tour guide ever. Anica made it a fun experience for us all. We loved all the popcorn flavor we got.
If you like history this is great. Children will love this store. Guide haf a great knowledge of history of candy.
Friendly staff, clean environment!! So much to see and do! Our grandchildren said it was most fun day of their holiday!!!
Very nice people and a very good time. A must see when in West Palm Beach.
Always looking for an adventure to celebrate friend’s birthdays. This tour was a fantastic adventure. Brought back memories of candy we enjoyed as a child. The tour was not only educational but our guide was so good at getting everyone involved in the experience. She was lovely.
It may have been my fault for not looking into this more but I was under the impression this would have been a different kind of experience. Our tour person Anika was super friendly and energetic but this felt more like a walk through poster board project than a tour of a candy store.
The Candy Store in itself was a treasure! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and so friendly. There was a child in the tour and she was able to connect with her without making the adults feel left out. She answered all questions and informed the tour members of so much candy history! She was great.
Fun place! Upbeat tour guide. 15% off all candy. And the tour was not "cheesy"--it was informative and well done.
This was a fun and informative tour. Lilly was our tour guide. She was fun and very nice. She was able to have fun while teaching us about the evolution of candy.
Fun, informative tour about the history of candy. It brought back a lot of great memories of candy we loved as kids and still do! Loved the samples during the tour and in the store. The flavors of popcorn was amazing. It was so fun shopping for candy , some of which is hard to find. We will return again for sure.
We took our 9 and 11 year old grandkids and they loved it. The tour was interesting and fun and the perfect length. Informative about the history of candy while making it fun for the whole family. They did a great job of educating us while keeping it moving so no one was bored but we were definitely not rushed. The kids loved shopping through the store at the end and tried just about every flavor of popcorn they have and it is a wall of popcorn. We loved seeing all the nostalgic candy and sodas and our Grandaughter had the best time making her own gigantic Reese’s peanut butter cup. Would definitely recommend as a family outing.
Really fun experience, impressive selection of global, nostalgic and every other possibility your mind could dream up. Annika was a wonderful tour guide getting to know us and our favorite candy indulgences! Lots of samples, discount for tour takers and amazing history in addition to the sights and smells of candy heaven no matter what your preferences… Dangerous in the best of ways…
It is a lightweight tour, could be fun for kids if you don't have high expectations and are ok with a lot of sugar ;-). The tour guide had personality and they have made an effort to make the tour entertaining, but it didn't really work for us. ( My husband is a historian and we have gone on many food-related/factory tours. He loves high-quality chocolate, but I don't really like candy - we were just looking for something fun to do.)
My family did the tour; Annaka was our guide. She was amazing! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and interactive with the guests. She was even patient with a little boy who kept interrupting her while his mother stood silently by during our December 30th tour! This was well worth the money!
Tour was barely 35 minutes with little history. Much of time spent in doling out samples. Two large areas with tempting overpriced candy to buy
Such a great tour! Annika was so informative and made learning fun and funny! Free candy at the end and a discount in the store made it even better!
My husband and I were visiting Florida for a long weekend from Los Angeles. We did this cute, quirky candy tour. Anaca was our guide and made it fun and entertaining. We overall loved the store and got loads of candy. Would recommend for a fun activity especially for kids.
Anaka was a great guide and included the children in her tour information so they enjoyed it. Thought we would actually see candy being made but is a “history” of candy tour with a few samples among the way. The store is full of candy and popcorn choices to entice you into purchasing…
The tour. Included a museum of over a thousand types of candy from all over the world. Many brands of candy old and new. Candy of the world!
This experience was truly amazing and to find out the history behind how candy came about and original made from just 2 ingredients was more amazing…. Our tour guide Ahnica truly truly truly made the tour fun and enjoyable… Each one of my family members including myself were tasked with opening each curtain leading to the history of how candy was made among other such as the different flavors of popcorn and chocolate from around the world… this was just an amazing experience… if you’re ever in the area… this is a must have special place at the top of your list of things to do and see while visiting West Palm Beach… My sister/Bestfriend gifted me and my adult children with beautiful weekend vacation. I was tasked with the planning of our excursions and surprisingly this was worth our time… The tour itself is approximately 45-50minutes but because it was just my family that attended the tour… That gave Ahnica that much more time to dedicate to give us a grand experience that is forever etched in our memories… We agreed that the Bulk candy store is forever our favorite place to visit when in West Palm Beach… My sister sampled just about everything and wanted my children and myself to get what we wanted and she’ll order what she wants online and have it shipped directly to her home… She said it was just too much and she couldn’t make up her mind and narrow it down to just one or two things in particular… We had the VIP experience at least that’s what it felt like to us 🤭🤭🤭
It was a great little tour. Annika was fantastic. She made the tour fun and informative. The best part was the candy store. A person could go crazy in there with all the goodies and popcorn. Will definitely go back on our next trip down to Florida.
This place makes you happy from the second you pull into the parking lot. The staff is amazing...very helpful and knowledgable about all things candy. The tour is very informative; and, if you are lucky enough to have Lilly as your guide, be prepared to laugh. She is so sweet and very funny. There are so many photo opps, too. She was great about taking our picture at ALL of them. I do not write many reviews, but this experience was too good not to.
What a fantastic place! The staff, the owner were amazing, helping our school for the blind arrange for 25 of our students and staff to come on a field trip to their place. So patient and kind. Then the fantastic tour they gave all of us on the history of candy making. The different rooms we went into were fascinating. Lastly, the entire bulk candy store was incredible! Candy of every shape, size and color and homemade items and ones from the old days. And homemade fudges, candy, cake and more. I spent one hour just walking around trying to figure out what to buy while the rest of our students were buying like crazy. It was insane, wonderful overload. PLUS - they gave us free samples of some of the TONS OF FLAVORS OF GOURMET POPCORNS THEY MAKE! Fantastic flavors of all kinds! We cannot say enough about this place - it is worth the trip! We will be back...individually with family and friends for sure. Thank you to everyone at the Bulk Candy Store for making our trip fantastic! - Shari Gerson, Florida Outreach Center for the Blind, Palm Springs
We took our two grandchildren to the tour. Drove an hour to get there and it was worth every minute. Our guide Anika was the best! Explained and entertained. She really engaged the children and was just wonderful. We had many candy samples and bought candy to take home. We weren’t brave enough for the scorpion lollipops! Highly recommend this tour and store
Good your work great guide. History of candy made fun and tasty. Great audience participation with each phase. We'd do it again. Oh and all the candy to do for afterwards was yummy!
We never knew this place existed but were looking for something special to do with our granddaughter. We had so much fun and learned a thing or two about candy, not to mention the great samples. Our tour guide, Ahnakah was fantastic - funny and did a great job of catering to the very old and seniors like us. I highly recommend it.
Very fun and informative. The tour guide was awesome and kept the children actively engaged. Fun!!!!
This is a fun tour. Our guide was enthusiastic and tried to get everyone involved. There is nothing profound but candy is fun and it is good indoor activity for a rainy or hot day. Then of course you end up in the store.
A cool twist on just shopping at a candy store. They take you in the back and their are separate rooms and each room is decorated and they talk about the evolution of candy, how it’s produced, the most popular candy and candy around the world. Samples are given out.
Such a fun experience! Lexi is a great tour guide & the bulk candy store has so many options to explore. We loved looking at the unique flavors, all the popcorn choices & the nostalgic sodas.
Interesting place with more candy that you can count!!The staff are pleasant and helpful. Tour was interesting to learn about history of candy.
We've lived 15 minutes away from the Bulk Candy Store for a couple years and I just learned of its existence. My husband is a HUGE fan of candy, so I knew I had to book a tour. We were not disappointed. Lexie was our tour guide and she did an amazing job. She was friendly, knowledgable, and patient. She has a great knowledge of the history of candy and she kept the tour light and fun. The tour itself took about 45 minutes and included fun facts and plenty of samples. After our tour, we spent at least 30 minutes trying to see everything. They have just about any kind of candy you could want and their flavored popcorn was fresh and delicious. Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. If you are a candy enthusiast, The Bulk Candy Store is a must see. Be sure to make a reservation for your tour. They require a reservation and fill up.
Had a wonderful tour. Akira was amazing with the children in the group as well as with the adults. Imparted information about candy in an interesting and fun way. Was fun to see candy we remembered from childhood. Would recommend for people of all ages.
What a fun time! We were a group of 18 who had a blast learning about how some of the candies were made, and seeing a lot of candies from our youth. Our guide Annika was outstanding. She led us through the beginnings of some of the candies, told with a lot of humor and engaged our group with little pop quizzes, and treats. And of course, when we ended back into the retail area, we bought bags of candy!! And many of us were especially taken with the different varieties of popcorn from tuxedo, which was caramel and chocolate to dill pickle, salt and vinegar, and jalapeño. We mixed and matched some of them and got some very interesting varieties. If you wanna try something different for not a lot of money this is a real fun time. Plus, I was able to purchase that candy that everyone is talking about, Dubai chocolate google it you’ll be surprised!!
This candy tour was awesome and delicious! Anika was funny, very knowledgeable and super fun. And the tastings didn't disappoint. Definitely a must see!
Amazing experience! Amazing tour guide! Great store! I had an amazing time with this private tour and learned a lot about the history of candy
Terrific… great 45 min tour and then going around picking out candy was amazing. We never knew there were so many choices of candy available. The staff is terrific and the entire place is immaculate and a pleasure to be in!
Ken was excellent and entertaining. The tour was a great and wonderful experience for the children of all ages. Thank you for all the delicious candy and fun memories this family has acquired today.
What a fun experience and our guide, Ahnaca was awesome, knowledgeable and fun! I brought my grandsons who are 9 and 11 and it was perfect.
The kids had a great time. Our tour guide, Annika was terrific! Informative, patient and friendly! Displays were bright and fun.
This was a fun, unique activity for our multi-generational family trip. The hour long guided tour ends with a discount for the rather impressive candy shop. Ken, our tour guide, was fantastic! He made the tour lots of fun for kids and grandparents alike. Everyone learned something new and enjoyed tasting candy along the way.
Very informative tour. Our guide was the owner and he loves all things candy. Enjoyed the memorabilia and samples, too.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a nice way to spend some time with the kids. We enjoyed the samples and store discount after the tour.
Super cute tour! We were looking for something to do on a rainy day and this totally fit the bill. The tour was cute and very informative. Our guide Annika was the best! Learn a bunch of things we did not know before and had fun sampling the candy. Also enjoyed purchasing items from the large selection with the discount from the tour. Everyone in our party from young to old enjoyed it and I would recommend taking the tour if you haven’t done it before. We will be back next year to buy more candy!
