Unfortunately the trip got cancelled due to bad weather, which i understood. However I have asked for my refund which I got promised. Still not received yet.

My fiancé and I did the day trip to the Bahamas and had an amazing time! The food was good, and everyone was extremely welcoming. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island and bringing a small speaker for music. Most restaurants accept cards, but bring cash for the smaller vendors. Overall, it was well worth it, and we’re already planning to come back for a weekend! 🇧🇸❤️
Overall, the ferry ride is convenient when wanting to take a day trip to Bimini BUT there needs to be some security available on board. There was a very loud intoxicated group of men onboard with us and after spending 5hrs in the sun and exploring at 7PM noone wanted to hear their arguments & loud conversations. Noone mentions it but it takes 35+ minutes just to debark and thats after docking so that eats into your time at Bimini and you also will have to wait for a shuttle once you’re off the ferry or they tell you to walk. The Bahamian staff at Bimini are extremely rude, they just yell “keep walking” even if you have other family, that you’re trying to wait for to come down the stairs. They weren't welcoming at all. Lastly, once you’re back and debark, be prepared to wait in a LONG line for 30-40 minutes to show passports. Only 1 line for American citizens and another line for non-American citizens. We got back to our Airbnb about 10:30PM. Overall again its convenient to visit the island but experiences will vary.
Upon returning, there appears to have been a very disruptive very loud , aggressive arguments between three intoxicated men that truly made me very uncomfortable and unsafe for not only myself however my family and other travelers as well, At times, I truly believe fearful expected an altercation to occur . There needs to be some sort of security that can handle these situations for safety for other travelers…. On the other hand , the encounter that I had with the crew members was friendly and respectful.
We tried to be proactive in contacting the tour operator the day prior to the tour, no one picked up. We got to the schedule meeting point at 4;45 as requested waited for 40 minutes no one came. We called customer support customer support who was quick to offer refund instead of trying to find a solution. I asked to speak to a supervisor it was that time we were informed we had to take an uber to anther point. At this we already paid an Uber already. When we got on the tour bus the guy who was giving the wrist band, we reached out our hands got him to put them on, he dropped it and continued walking down the bus aisle. When we arrived in the Bahamas there was no clear directions where to go they just said “keep walking” once we got there we had a beautiful time. However the execution was very unprofessional.
Don’t listen Viator. I was told to be at the port at 4:45. I was. It didn’t open until 6:30. I was told there was free transportation, there wasn’t.
Bimini was beautiful. I would book this if you just really want to go to the beach out there. The resort is dead and nothing is open hardly. People sell golfcarts to you so you can drive around the island and thats a must when you go. We ate at Big John's and it was pretty good food. We swam at radio beach and saw the island and its great. But the process of getting there was long and annoying. Long lines and lots of people. Our boat ride back took forever to leave then when we docked we had to wait 2 hours to get off the boat because they didn't have a bridge for us to get off. Then the gate from the parking garage did not work and we got stuck in there an extra 30 minutes. No one answered the help button, no way to get another ticket to pay to leave. We had to just go after someone and speed through. 0/10 for the travel experience, island 10/10. I suggest an overnight so it's not as annoying but in one day i was fed up with the traveling! The customs part took forever. But the food and drinks in the ship were nice too, bathrooms nice and clean. But way too long to travel
Very nice experience. The crew was alert and caring. The window seals need updating badly, they look like they are protruding and exposing the materials used to seal the windows in. But the seats and boat were overall tidy and the Air conditioner definitely works, lol. It’s gotten a bit expensive at $200+ for a day trip unfortunately.
The ferry rocked constant on the water to and from Bimini. Don't expect a cruise like experience where you can't even tell the ship is moving. The boarding was cumbersome but it was due to all the constand checks to ensure that you are allowed to travel out of and back into the country. Other than that, the rest of the trip was wonderful! Beach360 was great! Great food! We rented a Golf Cart and was able to go downtown to the shopping center and buy some small souvenirs.
Customer service and communication was excellent but this trip is a couple hundred more through this company. Booking directly through balearia is cheaper.
We booked the Bimini Day Trip. There were a few issues, firstly I was advised that I could pay cash or card to the driver, so when the driver showed up at like 6am, I said I'll pay by card, the driver basically lost his mind and said no you have to pay cash, I can't take card, luckily my hotel has an atm in there. The driver was just very angry in general and spoke to everyone like they were children. The check in at the cruise terminal was easy, no issues there. On board theres little cafes and a mini duty free which is nice. The only thing about the ferry is the immigration check that comes with it. We were waiting at least 30 minutes to get on to the island and then on the way back arriving into fort Lauderdale, immigration took forever, we were waiting on the ferry for around 45 minutes and then when we got off there were only 2 border security checking passports and there were hundreds of people, so my advice would be to rush to the front of the ferry door when getting off so you can get through immigration quicker. When getting off in Bimini, its good because they have these free train shuttles things that take you to the resort. I was advised that I wouldn't need a resort pass to use the resort as I'm just going to the beach and able to use the facilities like toilets and restaurants, well....I went in to this resort and they said no I have to purchase a resort pass so that cost around $65 for 2 people. But all in all its a beautiful island and well worth a visit. Obviously if you don't go to the resort theres plenty of other beach just to go on.
I did not go due to the weather being extremely windy and rainy. It should have been canceled. I did not feel safe so I did not go.
They didn’t provide a refund when the website stated that there’s a 24 hour refund policy. It Didn’t provide the items it said it would, for example, breakfast lunch and dinner, etc.
Had a great time on the boat and the island. Well organized. The food and beverage is extremely expensive on both the ferry and on the island. That was the only frustrating part.
We were able to tour the inner city of Bimini. I did not know that Adam Clayton Powell was from there. We enjoyed it very much.
Trip was awesome and smooth riding the high speed ! Would have loved to stay but ferry doesn't come back the next day so have to stay 2 nights. Long long day but worth it!
6 -7 hours on the island and 12-14 hours on logistics ( transportation, immigration checks and others ). Started at 6 am and back home around 1.30 am the next day. But the 6 hours time is definitely amazing. The sand and beach is way better than Miami. But if you don’t like long and intensive trip, think again.
I’ve always wanted to visit the Bahamas and this excursion was a great way to do so. The tour was well organised from start to finish. The ferry ride over to the island was well stocked with food and drinks for you to purchase at an additional cost. You can also purchase tickets for island excursions. I would advise purchasing a day pass for the Bimini Resort where you can relax and appreciate what the island has to offer. This tour is a great way to visit the Bahamas and experience paradise.
Try to book this online on their website, WHICH IS A TERRIBLE SITE! So I emailed them - in English ... Received the reply in another language 😵💫. Then called 3 times to only get an automated answering, left a message to never get a response! I live too far away to come there for horrible customer service
The ride on the ferry. It felt like I was on a cruise. I enjoyed the hospitality of the crew. The beach was more than I expected, just wish it could have been an all inclusive.
I’m not sure where to start…I’ll start with a positive. The check-in process was a breeze except for the agent insulting the previous guest they checked in. The embarkation and disembarkation was horrible and boardered disrespectful. There was no order or organization getting on and off the vessel. The ride to our destination (Bimini) was very crowded. Between the water from the A/C vent leaking on my Husband, the horrible food, the kids running around and the volume, it was a LONG ride. The voyage back was so much better and almost redeemed our earlier experience (the reason for 2 stars) until we got back to the port. They had one Border Agent for hundreds of guest both US and Non-US Citizens. Thank goodness that we were one of the first in line. However, it took over an hour to get through the process. We were to return at 9:00 but didn’t get out the terminal until 11:30. I felt so bad for those at the back of the lines. It had to be an early morning for them as it had to be another several hours before they got through the lines. This is not an excursion that I could recommend.
It was great other than they don’t pick you up at the hotel and Hilton day pass isn’t included. However, we really enjoyed it.
My sista got married on the beach with family and friends witnessing her moment. She looked beautiful
This package does not include the beach access as advertised. My wife and I found out that it had to be purchased separately on the boat or directly from the resort. Once on the cruise, we went to purchase it and were told that there was a Virgin cruise docked that day. When Virgin is docked, they have exclusives rights to the beach and access can't be purchased. Viator needs to update their trip description and inform customers on dates there is no access to the beach.
Bimini its self is AMAZING! However we told to get to ferry at 7am that doors close at 8 am and we leave at 9am. We didn’t start boarding until after 8am. From there is was so so. We did purchase golf cart while onboad to make it easy. Yes it did make it easy however company said we needed to have it back by 430. We did. Boat was gonna be there around 530 or 6 so we figured whatever. 730…..boat FINALLY shows up. Not one employee gave us updated before hand as we all sat around wondering cooking in the sun. We finally get to Florida and dock at 11pm. Then we sit for another 30mins for who knows what reason. By now people are getting very angry. Finally off boat but oh wait gotta go through customs. By now NO one is working. Took forever 2 customs for over 400 hundred people. Id fly not worth sitting on a boat and or waiting on a boat to pick u up. Over 20 hrs Finally back to room at 12:30am
The Bimini island is a beautiful paradise, our trip was great, no complaints about that, It's just 2 hours from fortlauderdale to the island, but when we returned to USA the inmigracion was a pain because it was just an officer checking the passports for too many people, we wait MORE than 2 hours in line, Esperamos en inmigración mas tiempo de lo que duró el viaje. Lo demás en la Isla muy bien. Es una pequeña isla que tiene sus encanto de playas.
The ride was rough there and back. I’m sure that’s not the fault of their ferry but it totally ruined the experience for me. If I were to do it again, I would need extra strength motion sickness meds or something. Two days later and I’m still nauseous. Other than that it was a decent day at Bimini. Baleria Caribbean staff were nice and welcoming. The staff at Port Everglades were all rude. At the entry gate rude, at customs, rude! Plus they had us waiting for two hours in a stand still at customs and shrugged their shoulders like it was just a normal occurrence. Again, not the Baleria’s fault but the overall experience was just not so good for me.
This was one of best trips I've taken in quite some time. Highly recommend this for a all day Activity.
Do not do the day cruise. We spent more hours on the fast ferry (7 hours total) than on the island (3 hours). Next time we will do 2-3 days. It was a horrible experience. We got to the port to check in at 7:30am and made it back to the port and through customs at 9:40pm. All for 3 hours on the island. Never again.
We are on our way to port. The guy who called himself owner of the tour was super rude and unprofessional. We were in car with 4 more people (Italians) The guy who called himself the owner was talking Spanish and the passengers brought to his attention that we don’t understand his language! He asked us where are we from and when he made sure we are Americans told us to come down and use the bus. When i asked why are we supposed to use bus while we want to sit in comfortable car he said we should. I asked why the other people arent using bus and they are staying. He got frustrated and yelled at us. My husband interfered to make him calm down. He is brunette Persian guy and it seems the manager didnt like it and He called us “ F-ing A-holes”. He was racist and had no idea about basic customer services whatsoever!! Instead of listening and understanding the issue first, then resolving it, he kept yelling “you’ll get to the port”!! There is no privilege in this country! The bus was packed, with no air conditioning, and smelled horrible. There is no doubt that we werent going to sit there! His attitude wasnt acceptable. Definitely, i’ll follow up on his behavior when ill come back from trip! Bad start… Horrible experience!
The best part about this trip experiencing some were new with one of my closest friends. I will always remember this trip because it was on my birthday.
Travel time from the hotel to the port was over 5 hours. We were told transportation would be from the hotel but we had to travel from our hotel to a different one. The Uber ride on the return was 37 minutes. Upon reaching Bimini there was no direction as what to do. We waited in line to ask which beach we were allowed to use for an hour. The hotel people were selling excursions in the hotel checkin line. It was a terrible experience!
Way to expensive you can fly cheaper and it's faster ... Save your money . Can't believe I spent money for that
Worst experience ever. Paid EUR €378,56 for nothing! Unclear description of the tour, no assistance, need to pay again for transfer and for the day pass Hilton.
The day trip was amazing .. just to get away and relax in crystal clear water .. only down side was the jelly fish .. never swam in water before where the jellyfish were more abundant then the people :/ people were literally catching them and throwing them .. outside of that … I loved it .. nice romantic get away
The beach is breathtaking! We only went for the day so we didn’t have a lot of time to explore, but the time that we were there was amazing, between expending time on the beach and also in the pool of the hotel. The ride to Bimini was fast, we got there right on time. The staff was great and very helpful. In the vessel there is a bar where you can buy food and drinks. The ride back was also nice. Overall is a great experience, I recommend going for more than one day, that way you can explore more.
This was absolutely horrible!!! I called to make sure this was an excursion we all would be able to participate in for my husband 50th birthday. The representative told me that we would be able to use our birth certificate as proof of citizenship and that was not true. My family and I even received the wrong information about when to arrive. Were there at 4:30 am only to wait in line until 6am where we were turned around. Calling viator was no help again the representative lied about what they would be able to do about my refund. That was 900.00 that i won't be getting back and they ruined my husband's birthday! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE YOU RISK LOSING YOUR MONEY AND WASTING YOUR VACATION
The only problem was no WiFi the stuff was amazing not much food to choose from But all over excellent
Day trip to Bimini with the family, early start and worth the effort, straight on the boat and straight off, rented a golf cart which is a must and spent the day whizzing round the island and visiting the beaches and lunch at Big Game.
Lovely trip. Thank you. All good. Bimini is great. People are nice. Hiltons pools are super. I want to come back for a week long.
Great trip. A bit rough coming back as weather was bad, but the trip was a good experience and Bimini is fun!
Pick-up expected 05.20am (the bus was 25mn late, Admiral never answered the phone or chat and left us waiting), back home at 04.00am (we skipped the return bus that would have brought us home 45mn later probably). Many tour groups arrived much later and the boat terminal was empty. On the return you have to wait for the last one of your bus to cross immigration (took us 2hrs, not Admiral's fault but still part of the experience...). Admiral subcontracts the ferry to balearia caribbean, but as it's part of the trip, it's worth noting that it was 1hr late in the morning, 3hr30mn in the evening, without a 'Sorry' from the boat staff. Business as usual. Passengers waited all this time on the porch of the Hilton without any information (while we could have done something else in the meantime). The beaches are extraordinary and the price is fair though.
Perfect one day trip to bimini. Enough to explore the island ! Paradise beach is amazing, and pools on Hilton are nice too.
We booked our trip to Bimini through the GoBahamasPlus website for the Fast Ferry to Bimini Hilton. Let's start off by saying there is NOTHING FAST about it. The so called 2 hour trip took 7 hours to get to the island (7am check in - 2pm on island) and 7 hours to get back (5pm check in - 12am exit customes). FLY, FLY, FLY!!!!
So reading reviews there were some good and bad things said about this ride. But for me everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly and attentive or trip was amazing. It wasn't packed. I would suggest if you do the day trip definitely rent a golf cart you will be able to see the island alot better that way. Went the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so that may have been the cause of crowd control but it was an amazing experience and will do again.
We were picked up at 05:20 and didn't get back to our hotel until 23:10. Very long day but Bimini is a lovely place. Entry back to USA (FL) was longer than when we actually arrived in to the US. Prepare for a lot of sitting around and queuing but we had a great day. We hired a golf buggy to get us about.
ok, to long to wait, its not worth it to go for one day...You will ave only 4-5 hours to see Bahamas which is not enough time
I did the trip with a friend and we didn't have any problem with communication, we ask for our pick up, that was closed to our hotel and received our explanation in a very polite way and it was there on time! We're worried about other reviews but for us was great. The immigration line was too long, that was the bad part of our tour because we're tired at the end, normal, but I understand is another thing. The place is wonderful, I will never forget the color of that water, was the best place of our trip, were I felt more happy! Very happy about our choice!
After spending a few days in Miami, this day cruise was a nice experience. DO NOT use the option of being picked-up at the hotel as there is no "complimentary" transportation. After you've booked your trip, please call customer service to find out where to deport. For us, it was Port Everglades at Terminal 21. The ferry offers food, drinks, and duty free shopping. There's not much to do on the island as it is in the beginning phases of becoming a tourist location. Please make sure that you schedule other activities ahead of time, like swimming w dolphins. You are able to rent golf carts to explore the island. The staff is very nice and helpful! Follow the advice I gave and you'll enjoy yourself
So this is a long one. Booked the Bimini cruise with my family. Saw some horrible reviews about other companies so booked with this one. On day of cruise, they picked us up at hotel on time. No stress and the Manager Victor came on board a while after and presented everyone's tickets. The driver Franko was very friendly. They dropped us at the port and explained the pick up process. Perfect. Then the issues happened. The port is so slow, they have no care to speed anything up. We waited hours ( almost 5hours in the port with no explanation from the staff as to the delay) turns out there was a customs issue with the port. Note - this had NOTHING to do with Admiral. All boats out were cancelled. We were devastated. To our surprise the bus arrived at the port to take us all back to our hotels. This must have been a logistical nightmare for the company and at such last minute. I have nothing but praise for them. We called their office and they answered straight away and updated us all the way. We called a few times and were always answered and updated. Sadly for some, they could not rebook due to travel, but we were staying longer in Miami. Today, we rebooked on (no extra cost of course) and visited Bimini. The bus collected us and all went smooth. The company even went back to a hotel as a passenger forgot her passport. Now for today's issues...... The port is terrible. We were delayed by 30 mins going to Bimini and on return customs took 4 hours to see everyone though ( there was not even that many people to see though ) however, Admiral waited outside for hours to collect every passenger. No one was missed and they reassured us as we turned up on the bus, telling us not to worry. This port is seriously bad. Slow, non caring, rude, etc.....but again, nothing to do with Admiral. They are fantastic. Bimini is stunning and the boat ride was fantastic. Everyone so friendly. The ferry is huge, lots to see and do and plenty of space. I'm really grateful to this company. They really care about their customers. Honestly. Book. !!!!
