Amelia Island Guided Kayak Tour Of Lofton Creek

The weather had been quite rainy, so we ended up on a private river tour.....CJ was awesome....super knowledgable about the area and very friendly.

CJ was a great guide. He gave us lots of interesting information about the area and pointed out wildlife and vegetation. We had a really fun time!

We chose to do this guided kayak tour and are so glad we did. It was beautiful and peaceful and our guide was super knowledgeable. It was also easy for anyone who doesn’t kayak.

Great way to commune with nature and get off the beaten track. Perfect getaway if you're in the area for an event and can sneak off for a few hours. Highly recommend. Not too strenuous. CJ is a fantastic guide! Very informative, kind, helpful, and funny.

We saw alligators and turtles and beautiful scenery. The guide was very informative and patient with all the kayakers. Would do again!

The tour guides were well prepared and very informative. They pointed out things as we kayaked down the river. It was a very peaceful outing.

This is a nice float just be aware coming back. You have to paddle upstream, but wasn't too bad. Had two tour guides that were wonderful very knowledgeable and very friendly.

We took the 2.5 hour kayak tour snd it was nothing short of amazing! A wonderful family trip for all ages and experiences. Highly recommend a morning tour before the sun is too hot .

We had the BEST morning on the Loftis Creek with our tour guide, Madeline! Had great weather, saw a couple of alligators, and learned lots about the Creek. We would definitely do this tour again and recommend it to anyone who needs some time out on the water, breathing in the fresh air, and learning out this ecosystem. Definitely time well spent with our two young adult sons. (They loved it!)

This was the most amazing kayak experience ever! Madeline and Rob are wonderful teachers and guides. The Lofton Creek area was like being in the bayou. It was beautiful and just and overall wonderful experience. The equipment was in great condition. No problems from booking to finish.

Our guide was awesome! He took us on a lovely tour and we even got to see a 14 foot alligator! His knowledge of the area and wildlife really added to the experience.

Had a great time paddling down this lazy waterway and noticing all the nature around us. Our guide made sure to point out the yellow-bellied turtles and baby gator (!) and shared fun facts about the ecosystem. It seems if you come in spring it could be extra magical with blooming wisteria. It was a little windy on the way back but definitely still doable. It's such a nice bonus that you get the photos from the tour sent to you afterwards.

Easy, picturesque and highly enjoyable! Our guide had been kayaking his whole life and quickly adjusted for beginners to more advanced. Lots of knowledgeable nature and native animal tidbits as you stroll down the river. Do you know where the saying “money grows on trees” is from? I do now, after this ride!

Good guide, nice day, calming trip after arriving by plane the night before. Interesting FL bayou. Fortunately we were the only kayak and had the guide to ourselves.

I had an excellent experience our guide( can't remember his name) was funny knowledgeable and just the type of person that loves what he does. We got the opportunity to see two alligators, old train track.The train passed by us. But we did get caught in these. Weeds, but that probably was the best part cause we all chipped in and helped each other, and it's added a little adventure to the trip. I plan to go back down to Jacksonville. This summer, and I would definitely do another excursion with this company..

Our trip to Cumberland Island was fantastic. The tour guide, CJ, was a wealth of knowledge for the entire trip. The beauty of the island was incredible: the shore birds were sweet and the horses were gorgeous. The tour was three hours long and a great workout! It went so fast with lots of laughs along the way.
