All-inclusive Sandbar Safari With Dolphin Playground Encounter

We had a great time, was able to see dolphins found sand dollars and a few shells. Water was clear weather was great

The sand at the sand bar is extremely soft and there are no rocks or corals. They don’t like for you to wear your shoes on the boat and they ask you to leave them in a big tote. But, you won’t really need them! Beautiful day.

The best experience in my life, the crew was great, the captain amazing. It is all inclusive great service, a lot of food and drinks for 5 hours. They took us to see the dolphins and captain was chase them for us to be able to take photos and videos. We had 1 hour and half for swimming and drinks at water which was incredible experience. It is worth the money.

The crew was exceptional and interacted with the group so well. There were plenty of dolphins to see going out and coming back in. The water was beautiful and so many islands, the food was excellent and plenty of time on the sand bar. Meet a lot of really nice people.

A excellent excursion! Beautiful catamaran, sunset was gorgeous, captain was great, the crew was very nice and accommodating, the bartender was generous with his pours and the music was great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a wonderful time!

We did the sandbar and dolphin trip and it was amazing! Sandbar was a lot of fun. The water in October was very warm and clear. We got to see dolphins that came to the boat and gave us a close up view. The crew was super friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent. The entire trip is a must when you visit Key West!

Wonderful day! We had kids age 11 and 8 and they had a great time as well. My kids loved snorkeling on the sandbar. The food was amazing and there was tons of it!

No dolphins but the sandbar was beautiful. A little pricey, but the drinks were good and lots of water toys to use were provided

This was a very fun experience. Kayla, Kelsey and Madison were fantastic hosts. They were all very knowledgeable about the environment as well as the watercraft. We had a very fun and relaxing experience and saw many many dolphin. Absolutely recommend.

A friend and I headed out for a day of fun in the sun. You did not disappoint! It was more than we hoped for because the vibe of the entire boat was spot on fun! And, the weather was perfect. Even though lunch was served, we were allowed to graze throughout the afternoon-much needed after a couple mermaid mimosas! Logan, Brackon, and Brynn definitely cared that we enjoyed our experience. Hospitaity is alive and well on your boats! We will definitely be going on other sandbar trips with Sunset Watersports when we return. Thanks for the memories!

Oh my! We had the best day ever! Our boat was beautiful, the food was amazing, Cubans, chicken strips, fruit, veggies, and what we didn’t eat, the crew brought down to us while we partied on the sandbar, he water toys/floats very nice…only 10 of us, but we were an awesome and fun group together…Captain Madison did everything to make sure we had a blast, and Stephanie/Alicia were the best! We got to see tons of dolphins! They were even teasing and playing with us…Of course none of us can control weather, but it was perfect. Sunset Watersports is the absolute best, I will never forget that name, and we will be back guys…

Incredible experience. Despite unfortunate weather Captain Madison and crew remained professional and polite. Major shout out to Sidney who pulled the anchor up by hand at least 8 times! Captain and crew were wonderful and highly recommend this trip!

This 5 hour sandbar trip was so much fun! The crew was fantastic. They were very knowledgeable about the dolphins. I definitely recommend doing this trip while visiting the keys!

Sydney and Kayla worked super hard. Sydney was also very knowledgeable about dolphins. We saw 3 or 4 dolphins but 'Playground Encounter' was misleading. The captain was very friendly but pressed us about gratuities during the safety briefing and before docking which was off-putting. We left a generous tip in the tip jar before we docked not knowing that they would be holding the tip jar as you exited the boat. It was a little uncomfortable because we didn't announce that we left a big tip in the tip jar so they probably felt we stiffed them. My recommendation for future is to charge enough to pay your hardworking employees so they don't have to beg. It was a bad ending to an otherwise pleasant and relaxing experience.

This was a fantastic adventure! We had a great crew- captain Madison was wonderful! Took the time to make sure everyone was having a great time, felt safe and welcomed - the service was fantastic- always had food and drink whenever we wanted! They were extremely knowledgeable in the area and the sea life. Highly recommend to anyone.

We had the best day ever. everything about it was perfect. The crew Maddison, sydney & emily were the best and worked very hard - theres a lot to be said about an all female crew! The girls never stopped and certainly made our experience the best. If I could choose this crew again I would go with them everytime. Well done ladies you were amazing.

My family and I were really looking forward to this excursion, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Before the excursion, I specifically messaged the company and explained that we were arriving on a cruise ship. I asked whether we would have enough time to get off the ship and make it to the excursion, and I was assured that we would. We made it a priority to get off the ship as quickly as possible and were actually among the first passengers off. We immediately headed to the meeting location, only to find out that the excursion had already left without us. What bothers me most is that I feel like I was intentionally misled. The company knew we were cruise passengers, knew what time our ship was scheduled to dock, and still told me we would have no problem making it. Had they been upfront and told me the timing was too close, I never would have booked it. I requested a refund since we never even had the opportunity to participate, but they refused and told me I was outside their cancellation policy. This wasn’t a situation where we simply changed our minds or showed up late because of something we did. We relied on the information the company gave us before booking. If the company knows what time cruise ships dock and knows passengers cannot realistically make the excursion on time, then I don’t understand why they offer or recommend this excursion to cruise passengers in the first place. We lost our money and, more importantly, missed an experience that my family had genuinely been excited about. I would strongly recommend that other cruise passengers get the meeting time and the company’s assurance in writing before booking, because our experience was extremely disappointing.

This sandbar experience was the most fun we’ve had on our honeymoon! The team was so friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience even better. The boat ride was smooth, and they played great music the entire time. We didn’t see much sea life while snorkeling and only got to see a few dolphins on the way back, which was still really cool! The experience was on the pricier side, and while we enjoyed the open bar, we felt the food selection could have been better for the overall cost. We also felt there was quite a bit of emphasis on tipping the staff throughout the experience, which was something to keep in mind. The amount of time at the sandbar was perfect, although the ride back seemed to drag a little. There were about 65 people on our trip, which felt like a lot. If you’re considering this for your honeymoon, just keep in mind that there were tons of kids, so it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a more adults-only or romantic atmosphere. Overall, we had a blast and thought the crew, music, and sandbar experience made for such a fun day on the water!

The Sandbar Cruise was great! Cpt. Madison, Emily, and Sydney were the best team. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and attentive. Everything was well organized, the team clearly crew what they were doing and cared about making it an enjoyable experience. 10/10

We had a blast! Logan, Logan and Kelsey were amazing! We brought our 4 and 6 year olds and loved it!

Unfortunately due to weather our adventure was cancelled. I would love to give this a higher rating but I have nothing to base it on.
