Our trip on the water taxi was great. Perfect way to explore the area. We took it all way to Hollywood beach and spent most of the day there and went to Latitudes for late lunch. Each commentator was very knowledgeable and entertaining. A big value for what you pay. I hiighly suggest plan on spending the whole day for great sunset and night crusie with beautiful views.
We were disappointed that the weather delayed the start time until 3 p.m. (losing 5 hours of the day). However, it was still worth it. Instead of jumping on and off, we just stayed on for the entire loop and then landed close by Los Olas for supper. We had great guides, a carefree 3 hour waterway tour, and plenty to keep us interested and entertained.

Really neat experience traveling on the Water Taxi. Highly recommend El Camino restaurant at stop F2. Captain Patrick went above & beyond to keep all his passengers safe when bad weather hit! We will certainly use this mode of transportation again!
Captain Dan and Vail were awesome! The captains knowledge and narration of the homes and buildings was so fun to listen to. Vail made sure everyone was comfortable and got on and off safely. The on off is perfect if you want to see different areas of Fort Lauderdale easily and fun. I highly recommend this for Floridians as well as tourists.
If you go on water taxi make sure you go with vail and cap. Dan best commentary and service!!!
Paid $100 for 2 passes and storage of 2 bags. 1st water taxi was supposed to start running at 10 but didn’t show up until 10:20. At the next stop, app said a 10 min wait but we waited 45 min and watched 2 taxis go but without stopping. When one finally did stop crew member was rude and unsympathetic. We decided to just go back, get our bags, and sit at the airport instead of sitting waiting for a water taxi. People at the HQ could have also cared less about our issues. Britany, however, was absolutely amazing. I would give her 5 stars. The rest of the expierence doesn’t even deserve the 1 star I gave it.
We had the best experience with the staff. Leo, The Captain and Nick! So hospitable, fun and engaging! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to experience Fort Lauderdale in a fun and engaging way.

The water taxis was cancelled due to rain. I had to get a cab for $50 to hollywood beach. Would like a refund since I didnt use.
The absolute best way to see ALOT of venice at your own pace. BUT be very aware of where you need to get on and off. This is the way that the locals use to get around the Islands.
Do not get on at the first or last stop, you could be stuck for a while. I made the mistake of getting on at the first stop on the ft Lauderdale route. Decided to go up to pompano. Went halfway and figured I’d get off and hop on a boat coming back. Waited forever and it was the same boat that I was on that went up the whole way and came back. Now I’m 2 stops away from my stop and we are stopped for about 15 min to space out the boats properly or something with the shift change. It’s been over 4 hrs since I wanted to go back. You should keep this in mind if you want to take the boat after taxi

We used the Water Taxi throughout an entire day to visit NSU Art museum, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, the beach, Bokampers and 15th St Fisheries. Tickets were about $40/person which was felt like a fair value compared to uber with the added benefit of being on the water. The app is easy to use to locate the nearest stop, and estimated time of arrival for the vessels. On some of the vessels the narrators were chattier than others. They had beverages available for purchase onboard (non-alcoholic and alcoholic). Overall, worthwhile for a flexible day trip around town to see many different places and learn a little about the area.

Both crews were great in my ride down from Pompano Beach but Leo was amazing. I ride about every 2-3 weeks with my season pass but this was entertaining from end to end.
We had a really nice time on the water taxi. The pickup was really nice as there were nice places to hang out and a bar, while we waited. The transfer wasn’t nearly as nice of an experience, but was still a nice day and fun to get out on the water and see everything. Guide was really informative, though we discovered that experience can vary from boat to boat…as the one we were on later in the day was hard to hear. We would do it again though, for sure.
Had a fantastic time with Leo and Connor. Very professional, helpful and accommodated our requests. It was amazing! Make sure you do it in the daylight and in the dark.

We arrived struggling to know exactly where to pick up the tour and paid our money. We had a coffee at the start point (top tip is to park anywhere near the Riverside hotel. We parked miles away and got an Uberwhich was all a waste of money). We thought we were on a 90 minute circular tour but it was actually a 3 hour linear tour out and back. Fortunately we could disembark after about 2 hours close to where we had parked. The narration from the captain and the guide were ok but could have been more expansive. Lots to see, pleasant experience, just a little excessive!
Excellent boat ride along the canals seeing the mansions and yachts our female capt was great, but not dave the tour guide very boring he harped too much on the docks and pilings of the upcoming boat show. I would have liked to have heard more about the mansions
What a fun experience and a great way to see the waterways that connect Fort Lauderdale! Every guide (shout out to Leo and his coworker whose name I unfortunately forgot, sorry!) was helpful and pleasant and there was narration on board with interesting details on what we were seeing. It's not a fast mode of transportation, but it's not meant to be. However, if you're looking for a relaxed and unique way to spend an afternoon sightseeing in a beautiful setting, this is definitely it!
Had a few hours to kill, got to find out who owns all the fanciest homes along the water.

Overall this was a wonderful experience. We bought the full day pass option so our first ride out with Rita greeting us on the deck and Kathy ( our on boat guide), it was wonderful. Kathy was so knowledgeable about the area and really brought it to life.
We had a blast from moment one! Captain Connor navigated us well along the journey and Leo kept us entertained with commentary, singing and conversation!!!
Employees, boats, tour narration was all great! But when we were ready to return from Hollywood today at 8 pm on September 23, our boat left 6 min early without us! So we had to take $22 ride share, were delayed, and really frustrating

It was a fun experience, easy to move around and explore different sites via this transportation. It rain a little but they had few ponchos to share, if it’s raining season, just bring and umbrella or enjoy the rain!
