The trip was both educational and fun. We were rained on and had to end the trip a little early, but it was worth it. Out guide was superb!

Guide Robby was incredible so informative great stories showed us so many things! He took us to some great spots, and we saw alligators and their babies and some great birds and we felt very safe with Robby.
We had an awesome time on our tour! Our guide was friendly, very knowledgeable and a great boat operator! I would definitely recommend this experience!!
Had a fabulous time but also learned a lot about the Florida Everglades. Our guide know his stuff and had a great appreciation for the ecosystem the Everglades.
Great experience, guide was really informative. Would definitely recommend. The baby alligators were cute, and the mother enjoyed warning us away.
Captain Joe was awesome! Very impressive, we were lucky to be able to tour with him. Absolutely the best choice we made while in m our Miami trip.
I think the tour could have been great. My wife and I were really excited. We only got about 20 minutes in and the rain hit followed shortly by lightning. I’m glad the guide took our safety seriously, but we didn’t get much tour. For what little time we had the guide was very knowledgeable.
Very enjoyable and guide very friendly and informative!
Amazing , seen multiple alligators, great captain and very informative, would definitely recommend him !!
Amazing boat tour with a very small party managed to see chunk, the alligator , and lots of baby alligators. 90 minutes of absolute excellence
Enjoyed the experience. Smooth ride and very enjoyable tour guide. I am so glad my wife and I did this. Mark another off our bucket list.
Was really cool seeing the wildlife and of course alligators. Our guide was very informative and friendly.
Was a great tour, tour guide was very knowledgeable. The airboat ride was a lot of fun and very smooth. Learned a lot about the Everglades.
It was both educational and enjoyable. The tour lasted 90 minutes. Captain Mike provided everything we needed, including bottled water and ear protectors. During the tour, he told us many interesting facts about the Everglades, its ecosystem, and alligators. We saw several alligators up close and even saw an alligator nest with baby alligators swimming around it. We also saw several different types of plant life and canals. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had the absolute BEST time with Mike from Rivers of Grass Everglades Tours! It was so obvious from the moment we started that Mike had grown up around the Everglades and knows the area, the wildlife and the gators incredibly well. His knowledge and passion made the experience so much more than just an airboat ride - we learned heaps and felt like we were getting a genuine local experience. We had an incredible 1.5 hours out on the water, seeing some seriously impressive gators, including babies, and getting up close to the incredible Everglades environment. Mike was fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and clearly passionate about what he does. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Rivers of Grass and especially Mike. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!
Joe was a great guide. Very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this tour. Seeing an alligator and babies right next to the boat was phenomenal . Thank you for the experience
Everglades River of glass Adventures was an excellent experience! We booked one month in advance on TripAdvisor it was a true 90-minute personalized customized experience. Robbie was our tour guide and was knowledgeable & personable. I was traveling with an elderly person and they were very kind to make sure that she was comfortable. We got to see lots of birds beautiful flowers tons of baby alligators and several large alligators and really learned about the environmental conditions. I highly recommend this tour. We were staying in South Beach and arranged for a Rideshare company to drop us off they were easy to find. Our particular tour had only four of us Plus the operator it was perfect! He even had earphones and ice cold water for us.
This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. He made sure he answered all of our questions. We saw beautiful flowers, birds, and lots of alligators big and small. Follow the directions and look for the airboat. Your guide will be watching for you.
Captain Mike was great! He was very kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. He was great with my 9-year old son. The boat equipment was perfect, and he had a ton of cold waters in an iced-up cooler ready to go. We son a ton of alligators and even saw a male and a female almost get in a fight with each other! I would highly recommend this tour and Captain Mike!
We had a great time. It’s only a few other people so much more personal than large groups. Our driver was really fun and grew up in the area so he knew everything about the alligators, snakes, birds and wildlife. We had a great time and would do it again
Beyond my expectation Tour guy is super professional and loves the animal and environment We've seen 5 alligator in this trip, how lucky!
Fantastic experience. Our guide Joe had so much knowledge about the area. The ride was beautiful. We were able to see so much wildlife including multiple alligators. We would definitely do this again. 100% worth it.
Our guide was Joe. He was very knowledgeable & entertaining. We loved our experience & would definitely recommend! We saw several alligators, 2 alligator nests with babies, turtles & birds. And the scenery was beautiful!
What a great way to take up to eight people out on an airboat and see the Everglades. The water was low, but that was no fault of our tour guide, Mike, who took us through incredibly tight spaces to get to the canal to visit alligators and their families.
Enjoyed the trip out on the Everglades, had a knowledgeable guide. Could do with better info on how to get there as the meeting point address turned out to be a boat ramp which doesn’t work in phone mapping! No bus provided to get there, you are on your own with that. But once found, an interesting and worthwhile tour!
Thoroughly enjoyed this open airboat ride and tour . We saw a lot of alligators, birds , fish , etc. Our guide was awesome. . Highly recommend this company !
Great outing in the Glades! Our guide showed us tons of native plants, birds, fish, and of course, GATORS! It was both highly educational an a lot of FUN!
Excellent guide very personable and very informative, and shared some fun stories. Easy to follow directions to get there. Saw lots of birds and alligators. Beautiful to see the glads this way. No big crowds.
We had a great trip out on the Everglades with Captain Robby. He is a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgable and made the trip really enjoyable and interesting. Thanks Robby.
Awesome airboat ride. Robbie knew right where to go to see alligators, baby gators and unusual birds. Highly recommend this tour. They accommodated our after hours request for the next morning. Robbie shared alot about the everglades!
Great tour! The tour guide did a great job explaining the history and the food was very tasty……………..
Brilliant tour with a passionate guide who was knowledgeable about the area and all the creatures who lived there. Would recommend to anyone who wants a small airboat experience. Maxine & Phil UK
Great 90 minute trip with Captain Mike who was knowledgeable and good fun. Boat trip was a good mix of fun and education. Plenty of 'gators to see!
Captain Joe was outstanding as he took us on the water for this airboat adventure. The diversity of creatures and plants we saw was astonishing. Obviously the alligators are the draw, and in one three minute stretch my wife counted 6 (2 of which we turned around to get a closer look as they were huge! We lost count of how many we saw. What I found amazing was the amount abs variety of birds we flushed throughout the journey, all of them taking wing as we approached. While the views were spectacular, I have to mention that Captain Joe made the trip. When not seamlessly navigating the boat (and at a good pace at that), he would occasionally stop and point something out, or give us some history and insight, or answer questions. Great guy and great at his job. Plus his younger brother joined us, which only added to the fun. I can not recommend this trip or this company enough.
Great tour! our guide was Robbie. He was great, very knowledgeable of the area and with wildlife. My family and I enjoyed the ride very much. Very recommended!
This airboat tour was small and personal. Instead of being crammed onto a boat with 9 or 10 people, there were only 3 on our tour. We had Robbie as our captain. He was very knowledgeable of the area and explained about the Everglades ecosystems and the animals that lived within. We asked lots of questions and Robbie had answers. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for an airboat experience in the Everglades. Bucket list item checked for us.
Great outing! Captain was knowledgeable and did a great job to ensure we saw and learned about the grasslands and ecosystem. Great learning experience and a fun ride on an airboat!!
Fantastic experience. Robert was fantastic. Thank you for fun…. Alligators, beautiful birds, scenery and information.
We had an awesome time! Joe was fabulous and knowledgeable. We had never been on an airboat and can’t wait to go again.
Let me just say that this company is exactly what you are looking for. Small family business dedicated to educating the public about the Everglades, while showing them the most fabulous views and wildlife. Their FIRST objective is to protect and care for the environment and the wildlife, followed closely by providing the best customer experience possible. Don’t look any further. Book here and you won’t be disappointed!!!
I did a lot of research to find a tour that got us straight on a boat and seeing what we wanted to see. No gift shops, no queueing to "pet" a baby alligator! The whole experience from start to finish was right up there with us for one of the best experiences we have ever booked. Mike's knowledge and passion for the environment in which he works was amazing. Whilst there is never any guarantee to see alligators Mike took us to spots where he knew it would be likely and we certainly got our fair share of activity! It wasn’t just the alligators, Mike's knowledge of the whole eco system there was phenomenal. Thank you for creating amazing memories on the last day of our holiday!
Captain Mike was fantastic! Very clear in his explanations, scientifically accurate, and friendly. He showed us the best spots to see wildlife and made the Everglades experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing trip! Robby was our captain. His knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Everglades was astounding. We saw 5 alligators - up close and personal - along with several species of birds and a few tortoises. If you are looking for an authentic airboat tour and not one that is "gimicky," then we highly recommend!
We had an excellent experience on our tour. Our guide, Joe, was fantastic. His knowledge and passion about the area engaged our whole group. We were able to get up close to the wildlife while still respecting their environment and we learned a lot of great information. Thanks Joe!
Did the 90 minute semi private trip with Captain Mike. What an absolutely amazing experience. Truly out of the ordinary trip. Totally safe, clean airboat. There were a total of 4 guest and plenty of room. Saw all sorts of animals and learned so much about the River of grass, the animals, the ecosystem, and the history of this part of Florida. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be bringing family here next time we are in the region.
This review is for the 90 minute semiprivate airboat tour. We had an amazing time with Captain Mike on Saturday morning. He is very knowledgable about the everglades and its residents. We learned about the ecosystem, the various birds and of course the alligators. Mike stopped the boat several times to show us many interesting things including alligator holes. The airboat ride was fun!
Our guide Captain Mike grew up exploring the Everglades, and you could really tell his love for this amazing place. The semi-private 90-minute tour was the perfect length, and it was great having only 6 of us on the boat. Mike found several gators for us to view and was super knowledgeable about their biology and life cycle. He also pointed out various birds and was able to tell us about the threats to the Everglades--including the Burmese Python scourge. His enthusiasm for this environment was contagious. And of course, the airboat ride was a thrill. We always felt like the boat was well under his control, but we also sped along and slid through turns making it an adventure we won't forget.
Did a 1.5 hour semi private airboat tour with captain Mike who made the experience unforgettable! The boat was was in perfect condition and felt well maintained and comfortable. We were also offered hearing protection and water. Captain Mike did a great job explaining the Everglades history and current state to us. He was knowledgeable and created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Saw lots of gators and other wildlife, we even got close to a couple of them. If you want to see river of grass you should definitely book with these guys!! We will definitely do so if we ever come back here again😊 Sami & Victoria
This was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our Florida visit and located just 40 minutes from Miami Airport. When you book you are sent directions to the starting point which is a slipway remote from any habitation (there is a service station about 10 minutes away). Being slightly concerned that we might have difficulty finding it we arrived 30 minutes early which allowed us to talk to Captain Roby about the Everglades, his life in them and his passion for the conservation of them. We had decided that we would take the 90 minute tour as 60 minutes seemed a little short and it was totally the right decision. The Air Boat they use can accommodate about 6 people and there were four of us on this tour being on a small boat meant that we could go to areas the larger boats couldn’t go to and there was an intimacy and authenticity that cannot be achieved with larger vessels. We found Alligators almost immediately and with the boat being so small you were almost within touching distance of them (not that you would obviously). We had several more stops with wildlife at all of them and Captain Roby was happy to explain the ecosystem, food chain and how the invasive pythons are damaging it. The highlight for me though was the sense of freedom and total relaxation as you glided over the river of grass, You get something from this tour that you wont get from the big commercial boats and that something what makes this tour special.
We were 2 couples and started our trip with Robbie. He was super cool and nice :) unfortunately his boat gave out after 2-3 minutes, so Less picked us up with his boat and continued the tour. It was a stupid situation, but thanks to both of them it was just funny and safe at all times!! :) Less was sooo funny and really told us a lot. We saw 3 large alligators and 6 small ones. We would book the tour again anytime!
