90-minute Guided Eco Airboat Tour In Homosassa

We had a great experience with PT Airboat Adventures! We’re first time airboaters who would love to do it all again! Captain Paul and Jessica could not have been more friendly and welcoming when we arrived for our tour. Captain Paul began our tour with a leisurely pace that soon became a fun, zippy ride as we took in the natural beauty of the Homosassa River and nature’s inhabitants. We saw several different types of birds; a nesting egret, osprey, blue heron and flocks of cormorants. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the aquatic life as well, pointing out marine sponges and the best places to go scalloping, And we met a speedy stingray. A pod of pelican’s greeted us as we pulled into Crumps Landing. We’re looking forward to our next airboat tour with PT Airboat Adventures the next time we’re here visiting relatives. An awesome way to spend 90 minutes!

This adventure was well worth the money. Our captain Paul was very knowledgeable and was able to see dolphins and other wildlife and point them out. We saw a lot of dolphins! Beautiful scenery, and overall, just an amazing adventure! I would suggest them to anybody!

Great airboat ride! Our captain gave us some history of the area, information about different birds and the geography.

I had an absolute blast on this 90 minute excursion. Saw some beautiful scenery in Florida's Big Bend. The business and launch site were easily found. Saw turtles, sharks, dolphins and other wildlife up close. Staff is great. Some good people. Well worth the time and money. Thanks for a great time!

Small operation with a focus on customer satisfaction. A little pricey but was well worth the money. The airboats only hold 6 people…so excellent for an intimate small group adventure! Crumps restaurant is the launch location…perfect location for a morning ride followed by lunch on the Homassasa River.

What an incredible experience with PT Airboat Adventures! Our guide, Paul, the owner himself, was so knowledgeable and made the ride even more special. We spotted the most beautiful dolphins along the way. Fast, fun, and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The captain and his wife were great and helpful. We had a wonderful time flying over the water. He stopped to show us the different types of coral they have. We saw lots of birds and a small shark. I highly recommend this.

Tommy and Rebecca were as nice as could be and they kept us laughing. The air-boat tour was exhilarating.

Tour was excellent. The airboat ride was a blast and the nature views were even better. We saw alligators, turtles, dolphins and manatees. Our captain made it fun with crazy turns and engaging the dolphins in our wake wa they raced along side of us! The counter staff was great, very kind and accommodating and friendly. Our captain took the time to teach us about the area and made sure everyone on the boat was safe, he made the day special

Fun experience! Paul was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We saw a few manatees, monkeys on monkey island, eagles, Osprey and lots of pelicans. Stopped in the shallow waters to see sponges and coral.

We were a family of 5. Our guide, Tommy, was simply fantastic. The trip was thrilling, educational, and Tommy personalized it to what we were interested in seeing!!! We saw so many dolphins, a sea cave, pelicans, wild hogs, ospreys, manatees, Monkey Island, and to many birds to mention. I HIGHLY recommend this company and can’t wait to return!!!! Thank you Tommy for making our adventure extra special!!!!

Was not a good time of year to take this excursion but Tommy (owner operator) made the best of it. Tommy was friendly and extremely knowledgeable after being in the business for 60+ years. We saw monkey island which was cool but just a quick drive by - probably could have sat a little longer seeing the monkeys because after that we saw nothing. The boat ride was fun but cold - unfortunately weather was working against us. Enjoyed our trip but probably would go when it is warmer in hopes of seeing more.

Amazing to see a slice of old Florida in all its glory. Our operator Tommy was a gentleman and great tour guide as he pointed out so many spectaculars scenes and wildlife. Things you just don’t think about or know. Recommended for alllll ages you will 100% see something to spark the wonder and adventure inside. We saw Dolphins slowly maneuvering through the water and got some great shots of them through the crystal clear water, sea turtles doing turtle things and soooo much more.

W head a fabulous time!! We all the way out to the bay and spotted eagles, stingrays, dolphins, turtles, and tons of birds . The tour guide was great and the ride was a lot of fun

The tour took us along the Homosassa River and out into the Gulf. We saw plenty of wildlife including eagles, blue herons, ospreys, and dolphins. We cruised through the mangroves and rode through shallow waters to explore areas where other boats just cannot go. Along with the wildlife sightings, it was sometimes also like an amusement park ride, going fast and spinning around and from side to side. As we were in the front seat, we did get wet from time to time. It was all great fun. Enjoyed lunch at one of the restaurants in Crump's Landing, also a fun place to hang out.

We went out with Capt Tommy. The weather was amazing. Capt Tommy took us by Monkey Island and we got to see turtles, a bald eagle, a dolphin, stingray and a black tip shark. Capt Tommy also pointed our coral, sponge and a couple caves. We had an excellent adventure and a great time. We went out with visiting family and a friend. This is my and my wife's 3rd time out with PT Airboat Adventures. They've never let us down

Paul was absolutely amazing as a guide! As a native Floridian I am amazed at how much I learned. Can’t wait to explore the area a bit more!

PT Airboat Adventures was awesome! Captain Tommy took my family of 5 on a beautiful, fun-filled ride. We saw bald eagles, bonnet sharks and more. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area and made the ride fun. Even on an 80-degree day, though, I wished I'd brought a light jacket or sweatshirt; the airboat is very fast and out on the open water of the Gulf, I was chilled.

We had a nice time on the tour. Our ride was postponed for 1 1/2 hours due to the fog. This was nice, it was warmer and the tide was coming in. We saw about six dolphins coming in with the tide rise, fish, and underwater cave holes. We had thought the guide would give us some history or tell us about the areas we drove through. All and all, we really enjoyed the ride and seeing the layout of the land.

This was such a wonderful tour. Our guide was full of information on the region and the wildlife. We were able to see so many birds, dolphins, turtles, manatees and the Monkeys on Monkey Island . Bring a coat because it gets windy when speeding through the Gulf if Mexico.

Putter through the Homosassa River on a thrilling airboat tours with Captain Tim. Then you get to zip out to the Gulf. Venture through swamp grass. You’ll also get a chance to see many wild birds and dolphins. It’s a safe, fun and comfortable ride. Captain Tim knows the area and will answer all your questions.

Best way to see a lot of the coastline without hurting any little fishes :) seeing the migrating birds taking off was amazing.

We had a great time! "Irish" Dave was a great captain. He told us all about the coast and ecosystem surround the area. We saw a gator and some dolphins.

To experience the thrill of an airboat is a must do. Very friendly people on and offshore. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip which started sedately then took off once out of the slow speed zone. Slowed down for informative narrative and when wildlife was seen to allow close approach, the highlight being a Dolphin that was so close, as in next to the boat. Would go again ! Thank you
