Travelers should know not to book with Viator. I was present and ready to sail as booked. No one was there. Apparently there was miscommunication between Viator and the fishing company. It caused me much unnecessary Aggervation and frustration. Just book directly with the company itself. You may save money and will have less stress. I will never book with Viator again.

Itinerary
You will be going deep sea fishing! We usually ride out about 10-15 miles through the beautiful waters of the Gulf of America to the fishing grounds. We have the possibility of seeing all kinds of marine life such as dolphins, sharks, sea turtles and many other marine creatures. When we get out to the reef each angler will have their own rod and reel to fish with. You will bait your hooks and drop it down to the bottom of the gulf. Usually, it doesn’t take long to get a bite!! Most of the time the fish bite as soon as your bait gets to the bottom! Hopefully you will get a bunch of fish you can bring back for dinner!

Be prepared and ready to be far out in the ocean, my little brother panicked for a good bit. He did eventually come around and is still telling stories about this trip! 🫶🏻
★★★★★ We took 13 people on the 6 hour morning party boat fishing trip and had a blast! We had kids, adults, and seniors. We had a great time and caught 24 lbs of red snapper, a dozen trigger fish(none were big enough to keep), and a handful of different kinds that weren't keeping size or eating fish. They cleaned them for .50 a Ib. The captain kept us on the fish all trip and the crew worked their butts off making sure everyone was happy and having fun. They have a cabin with air conditioning and plenty of shade when you need to get out of the sun for a few minutes. It was well worth the price paid and we made lots of memories and got tons of great pics. We fried the snapper filets later that evening for a delicious fresh fish dinner! These guy's are family friendly professionals and deserve the 5 star review! One last thing, the first mates work in the service industry(like a waiter) and rely on tips, so come prepared to show your appreciation, which is well deserved.
Would absolutely recommend this experience, the crew finds the best spot for fishing. I caught over 15 fish myself on a boat of about 30 people. The crew is very experienced and knowledgeable. It was awesome getting to know people also. The crew also cleans the ship really good. It was an awesome day! I would do this again while visiting Destin!
Horrible experience. I planned a vacation out there had things planned for certain days. THEY canceled on me and put me on another day. I told them I would try to make it and then in the same day told them I couldn’t move my schedule around and had an issue so wasn’t gonna be able to make that day work. They refuse to respond to me or give me credit for THEIR cancellation. Do better… do not book with these guys!
The shipmates were remarkably helpful and courteous. However, the equipment was outdated and in poor condition, which was a significant disappointment considering the cost of the voyage. The number of passengers on board was excessive, resulting in frequent tangled lines. Additionally, the ship did not anchor at the designated fishing locations, which diminished the opportunity for fishing because of interwining lines.
This was the perfect “guy outing”. Our 5 and 7 yr old grandsons had a blast. As soon as their lines were in, the fish were biting! The crew was extra helpful and extremely friendly. Even though the boat would hold 38 people, there was plenty of room to not be crowded!
Bring snacks and drinks. When baiting your hook with squid, watch out for the ink 😆 The team was great, very engaging.
The captain and crew were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This was our first deep sea fishing adventure.
The title of this excursion is a bit misleading. This is not necessarily family friendly (for younger kids or elderly people) and it’s by no means a “party boat”. This should be advertised as “6-hour fishing trip”. This is not a comfortable boat that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a beverage. The captain and deck hands were great and accommodating and the trip was fine for the true purpose of fishing but it needs to be advertised as just that. Also, my husband is 6’2, 250 lbs and had a hard time navigating his way around the boat…it’s not made for anyone over average size to comfortably walk around. He was basically stuck in the same spot for the entirety of the trip.
The crew was ok. Experienced, but not very helpful. I brought my 3 boys. I figured that they would help bait the poles for the younger boys. 9 and 11. Only once did they help him. The fishing was ok. But only 1 keeper red snapper was caught out of 36 people. The most caught were Vermillion snapper. That were mostly under 1 lb. We did catch a few trigger fish. But they were too small and out of season. It was an overall good experience. My first time fishing like this. I know that the crew and captain can't make the fish bite. It would have been nice to catch at least a few decent fish.
Trip was altered a bit by Tropical Storm Bertha, so we could not go to their normal hotspots. However, Captain Aaron kept us on fish anyway and we all caught enough to bring home for dinner. Nick and Steve were awesome untangling our lines in choppy water and getting our fish off the hooks. They cleaned them for us too. Great trip, will definitely book it next time we are in Destin.
The crew was subpar they paid attention and catered to specific people and others were left to basically fin for themselves. One crew member was dismissive and we had to ask the same question multiple times before and answer was even given. The boat itself and fishing was alot of fun, however the crew and their experience is not what i paid for. Next time i will not book with them and would not recommend my friends either
Crew was very helpful during the fishing. They changed hooks, removed from hook and gave plenty of tips.
Great trip. Great crew. Great Captain. Caught a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. Everyone had an amazing time. Definitely would do again.
We had a wonderful time however, if you're feel like you're gonna be seasick, you might as well take something for it
Very helpful when needed . Everyone was very friendly. Wish I would've caught bigger fish . I took a 15 yr boy he had a blast
They canceled our trip due to the waves were too strong ! She said 9 ft waves that day
It was horrible 😢. Too many people. Small fish, rough water and long time with at least 75% of passagers being sick. The fishing was bad. Too many people on the trip. Everyone just wanted to get off the boat.
Excellent customer service, excellent instructions from all deck hands, captain landed us on tons of snapper, All deck hands super fast, super focused. Air conditioning in cabin. Not judged at all, I will now spread the word about your phenomenal customer service and bring as many customers back with me on your fishing vessel. I’ve practiced superior customer service for fifty years. It’s extremely refreshing to be on a fishing trip where above and beyond customer service is exemplified. Thanks for demonstrating superior customer service. John, Ocala Florida. I’ll be back.
Family friendly fishing adventure with lots of action. The crew and captain were very accommodating.
We absolutely had a blast! One common sense item to mention is think of this.. you’re on vacation and on a choppy boat, right? Why NOT just take a Dramamine beforehand and avoid any sea sickness? Half the boat was seasick for no reason at all.. or it was totally preventable. Also follow the directions of the captain when it comes to fishing. Step one.. bait the hooks. Then unravel the sinker. Then take your pole out. Then drop to the bottom.. pretty easy! We caught so many fish it was too much to keep! Overall an amazing experience.. we caught 50 plus fish and ate them whole, pan fried, and made ceviche!
It was a great day in the water! Approx 30 people on this large party boat, we boated over 400 Mingo Snappers. The crew was outstanding!
The staff was very attentive to everyone especially the inexperienced ones to make sure everyone had a great experience.
The crewmembers where highly professional and informative. Great people to be around highly recommend and Nick was pretty great .
Great experience! The crew was so nice and helpful! Will recommend to anyone that loves fishing! They even clean them too for an additional fee.
The staff was absolutely awesome! And we really enjoyed everything, boat was clean and would recommend them to everyone!
Be ready for a great time!! I had a blast!! Great staff, all you have to do is listen and you will walk away with enough fish for dinner.
